Everyone has their pick for idiot of the day. My pick for today’s IOTD is BuelahMan for even thinking he could design and implement a blog.
If I actually finish this and it survives, the planets must have aligned and the Rapture has taken place.
Or the last remaining scraps of manufacturing have finally left the US and I have lost my business, forced to sit around in my underwear, eating cheetos and posting more mindless hackery for your sympathetic entertainment.

Seriously, though, this country became the power that it is because of manufacturing. The fact that Big Business is moving this to a service related sector does not mean we are in for good times. How many McDonald’s cooks does America need?
On the contrary, I believe that the illegal immigration mess is a direct result of our stupid monetary policies and the rearrangement of America’s skill set. NAFTA, CAFTA, the WTO are all making middle America suffer and causing even more aliens to want to come here… legal or not.
They want us dumb and unproductive. That way we can’t bitch when they make more and we make less.
BTW: of course the planets have nothing to do with “The Rapture”. Sandy, did you know that I was already “taken up”? Did you know that “The Rapture” happens all the time? To each individual when the time comes?
I do not believe for a second that it resembles anything even remotely like the Left Behind series (it is sad that so many Christians think that is accurate).
