Hillary The Hack?

Posted by buelahman on January 10, 2008

Was it the tears?

Was it what Cenk Uyger of The Young Turks called “The Hillary Effect”?

Was it the two dudes (Nick Gemelli and Adolfo Gonzalez Jr., who work with Toucher & Rich show in Boston… crazy white guy radio) who sat in the audience of one of Hillary’s rallies chanting “Iron My Shirts” while she spoke… which supposedly pissed off the New Hampshire women and that is what caused Hillary to win?

Or maybe, just maybe, it is because New Hampshire uses the very same make and model of electronic voting machine (Diebold 1.94w optical scan machine) that were hacked in to by the Black Box Voting project in Leon County Florida a few years ago. These very same hackable machines are used  in 55 % of New Hampshire precincts (which represents more than 80 % of their voters) and nothing has ever been done to address the security risks.

These machines are notorious and are of the same type that have caused many problems and questions virtually wherever they are used.

Isn’t it amazing how the pollsters get something THAT wrong? Just like with Bush?

Think about this: She had been trailing Mr Obama by 13 points (42% to 29%) in a Zogby poll just before the election. She ends up with a 3 % win over Obama.

I don’t think there has ever been an election where the polls were off to this extent, even Herr Bush’s.

I’m just saying’…

Got Any Change To Spare?

Posted by buelahman on January 10, 2008

Change, change, change, change, change.

So all the candidates (Dem and Rep) are now insisting they are the candidates for change. “Change”: an amazing little word that is sweeping this country. They all use it as much as Alberto used “I don’t recall”.

From what I see, America doesn’t really want change. They want some nebulous promise given to them by the media endowed “front-runners”; they want to see things done in a different way while not having a clue what is causing the problem to begin with. They don’t realize that there are very few REAL candidates for change running… no matter WHAT they say about themselves.

Hillary says she has worked for change her whole life, but things work precisely the same for her as it always did for the Clinton Machine. Big Money feeds her, just as it fed the ReTHUGlicans for so many years. Hillary is Bush Lite, with hardly any change (except she is slitted and he is a dick).

Obama is little different. He gets his money from PACs. Edwards is a bit better, but still raises most contributions through lawyers and groups such as that.

There is but one Democratic candidate that does not accept these funds from ANY special interest… Dennis Kucinich.

Is it interesting to you to know that he represents the most change, as well? Have you even heard of him?

Probably not, because of that very fact. He does not take money from Big Business, so Big Business’s pitbull (the MSM) will not allow his message to be heard. The pundits are clueless because he doesn’t garner the draw and dollars, so their string-pullers tell them how “unelectable” Dennis is and they (like excellent lapdogs) do what they are told.

But it isn’t just the MSM, the Democratic Party is also complicit. In the Iowa and New Hampshire polls, the party never said a thing about their excluding Dennis from the debates. SILENCE. But that silence was all so very loud to my ears (and mind).

The fact is that even the Democrats are squashing that message. I can tell you why by simply explaining where my representatives get the vast majority of contributions… Lamar Alexander gets his lion’s share from Health Insurance Companies; Marsha Blackburn gets hers from the AT&T, Verizon, etc (The Big Communications companies).

Alas, I can tell you right farking now that Lamar will NEVER vote for a Universal not-for-profit health care program. I can tell you right farking now that Marsha will never hold these phone companies responsible for their law breaking and will give them immunity as quickly as humanly possible.

When their coffers are at risk, they are indebted. Period.

And it is and will be exactly the SAME way when Hillary or Obama get the nod.

You want “Change” America? You ain’t gonna get it by voting for those that the Big Money want you to vote for.

What a sad, pitiful state we are in.
