Wait — Goliath Was a Giant!
Entry by T.R. from Ohio 7 Months Until 2008 NFL Kickoff! Did everyone see that Super Bowl? WOW!?!?!!? What a gutty effort! I know this isn’t a sports blog, but even my sister got sucked in after suffering from Patriots overload. Can’t believe how much the Giants harrassed Brady. I thought they’d have to establish the run and control the clock, but they won without it! OK … how about commercials … I liked the Budweiser spot where the dalmatian helped the Clydesdale make the team with Rocky theme in the background. The Planters ad with the unibrow woman that used cashews for perfume was pretty cute too. Final point — hopefully this silences Tiki Barber, New York’s retired running back on the Today Show. NEVER call out your teammates and question their heart. So I *do* actually have some Jennifer news too! She watched the game in Birmingham tonight with Matthew. She was in good spirits — we exchanged text messages and calls throughout the game. Her tests don’t start until 10:30a CT tomorrow. Injection is Tuesday; they will do a CATSCAN shortly afterwards to see if the radio-venom “stuck” properly, and she will stay in the hospital TUES night for observation. They’ll stay until either Thursday or Friday depending on how things go. Let’s pray for a successful, low stress week, not only for us but also other families getting care.
