Update from Birmingham

Entry by TR & Granny, Guest Columnist

TODD JUST CALLED ME TO TELL ME THE GOOD NEWS CONCERNING JENNIFER. HE ASKED ME TO SHARE IT WITH ALL OF YOU. T.R. WILL PROBABLY PUT AN ENTRY ON THE WEBSITE LATER (thanks for the plug, Granny!)

AT UAB THEY WERE ABLE TO INSERT THE RADIO-VENOM EXACTLY WHERE THEY WANTED IT TO GO–FABULOUS, WE SAY!

SHE HAS TO STAY IN THE ROOM FOR 4 HOURS AND WILL NEED TO HAVE TESTING DONE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

WE ARE ECSTATIC ABOUT THE NEWS THIS DAY. WE HOPE THAT IT CAN GIVE HER LONGER GOOD QUALITY TIME.

GOD IS GOOD. WE ARE GATEFUL FOR THESE BLESSINGS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS.

Granny might be asking for a raise with quality journalism like that!

Sis will actually be staying overnight, and watching Super Tuesday election returns, no doubt! But praise God for encouraging news — that’s never guaranteed.

No new developments from pre-tests yesterday. The pathology from the Jan-25 surgery showed her tumor has risen to Grade 4, which is the most aggressive and often terminal. But on the good side, the MRI showed her surgeon did a great job removing as much tumor as possible.

So now it’s time for the radio-venom (AND GOD) to work their magic. Hopefully Sis & Matthew will be homeward bound by the weekend.

Thanks for your continued prayers — OURS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU TOO! – TRH

Super delegates: who are they? | Video | Reuters.com

Posted by buelahman on February 5, 2008

Super delegates? WTF?

Leave it to the parties to leave open a way to ensure that the candidate they want running is the nominated candidate.

20% of all delegates are these “super” type… ex-presidents, elite congressmen, etc.

They are unpledged, but at 20%, they can make or break an election.

Even if Dennis had not been locked out by the media and complicit Democratic party, Howard Dean could have pressured these super-delegates to vote another way.

The entire system is a farce, people.

Video won’t play, so please click link.from www.reuters.com posted with vodpod
