Dear Friends, Activists, and yes even Music Lovers,There is no issue more serious then the continued militarization of our country and our culture. We have seen this and exposed this from Uncovered to Iraq for Sale to Fox Attacks Iran.
But right now, we want to call attention to someone who not only embraces the song of war, he literally sings it! We bring you that Oldie but Baddie:
The mainstream press is absorbed in the presidential race - the latest poll numbers, the in-fighting between Obama and Clinton - while we seek to expose the true story humming just beneath the surface (yes, this calls for some major puns in a matter very serious… sometimes satire can be the most effective way to reach people).
Take a moment to spread this, and if you’re a digger, digg this. Let everyone see firsthand (with a little help from our composers) that the senator embraces war in a dangerous and irresponsible manner.

hi. it’s jen. up again. kinda crazy day. finally got my replacement phone today. lost in bama. texting again–missed desperately after less than a week. i very rarely use the actual ‘talking’ part of the phone. ; p
mom went to a ‘go red’ luncheon/silent auction today. she brought me a cool basket with bath and lotion gifts. i’m already in trouble for having too much of the stuff, but matt can’t say anything since it’s for a good cause.
so much political goofiness going on. i am addicted to all the msnbc stuff. can’t get enough. so–i like hillary just fine, but i’m not sure she’ll make it through the rest of the primaries.
obama is a cutie. i like him. i liked john edwards too. all the dems rock this year.
mccain, God love him, accidentally called himself a ‘liberal republican’ today. what are we gonna do with him? i actually have a ton of respect for him as a person. he’s quite an American. too bad i disagree with pretty much everything he stands for politically.
huckabee…what? cooking squirrels in a popcorn popper in college. oh my!!!!! well, i guess with a little chipotle sauce and some pinto beans. an acquired taste i suppose.
loved bushie’s complete lack of knowledge that gas may get to $4 a gallon by spring. literally went blank when a reporter asked him about it. ‘i had not heard that,’ he exclaimed. no knowledge of what is going on in reality–gee that doesn’t happen every 5 minutes. ; ) glad my taxes are paying for his motorcade.
that’s all i got tonight. hope everyone is doing ok. i’ll check back in soon.
