Candidates Forum On Service

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

I am sitting here, trying to stomach the old bastard (knowing that Obama will say virtually the same shit) and it occurs to me that this is one of the surest signs that we are so near a Fascist State.

Using the tragedy that has so many holes in the explanation; that any thinking person must have questions… one that, in my opinion, is so dubious that it is obvious.. this is bogus. This is them trying to get you to serve, more military, equating faith based organizations with ’serving the country’…

Are you ppl paying attention?

Art in Serralves – Portugal

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

TC dropped by and shared some kind words (very much to my appreciation). I went by TC’s site and found several things I liked (especially the blonde… believe me, you will know what I’m talking about and hide the kid’s eyes).

But there was one post that shared some extremely intersting photos of art in Serralves, Portugal. In this version I clipped what you really need to see (which are the pissers).

Pontius Pilate Was A Governor

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

Bruce at Organizing Notes posted this graphic today and I had to share:

But more importantly was Bruce’s excellent way with words…

The corporate plan is now fully in motion. Trivialize the campaign, appeal to emotions, ignore the important issues like Iraq and the widening of war in Afghanistan and into Pakistan. Ignore the economic crash. Ignore the massive loss of jobs. Get the angry working class focused on issues of sex, race and the “social issues” instead of class and corporate power.

The oligarchy clearly understands that America’s racism can be played like a fiddle as Sarah Palin’s job is to drive home the point that she represents “American life in the 1950’s” when whites were “happy” and people of color were under control.

Demographics show that in just a few years time blacks and Hispanics will be the majority population in the U.S. Efforts are now underway to ensure that the ruling elite will stay in power by destroying “democracy” as we know it. By ensuring that political campaigns become “money races” that have nothing to do with relevant issues those in power understand that more and more of the public give up on voting. They hope that future elections will be left to the white minority elite with the money to play the game of monopoly democracy.

It’s a cynical ploy but by driving people away from the voting booth the oligarchy plans to win.

I have so many interactions with people that end up arguing some inane point that McCain is the lesser of two evils and we simply cannot allow him to win, so we MUST vote for Obama (and if you don’t you are a traitor or are a spoiler or, even worse, will be blamed for McCain winning). But, all of you who make these arguments miss the entire point of it all. You have fallen for the lie, the “misdirection” similar to what a magician does with sleight-of-hand. Somehow, you miss that these two candidates are force-fed to you by Corporate powers (some call them the ‘Big Money’, ‘Elite’, or ‘oligarchy’). Whatever you call them, they manage this show like directors of a play. It is live, but the actors know the play.. they know what their part is.

You, the audience, is amazed and delighted by ‘the pitbull’ vs ‘the Muslim’ and by the lies of a ‘bridge to nowhere’ that you are content in NOT asking DEMANDING that the real issues be addressed. You are ok with these actors telling you what the real issues are for you, no matter that the things ignored are exactly what is ruining your way of life and the trust/admiration of the rest of the world.

Don’t you see the mindlessness of these arguments when our economy is virtually bankrupt? When our Armed Forces are stretched so thin that any real conflict with massive power, coordinated by these fearful countries, could cause great loss of life here… on our lands? Don’t you see that understanding the real truth of 9/11, the real truth of the lies to get us into Afghanistan and Iraq are most important to determining how we go further? That we cannot truthfully know that our motives are still, to this day, honorable until we know for sure why we are there in the first place.

Don’t you see the manipulation and deceit from the “Big Two” parties? How they rely upon each other to keep the truth of the real Patriots from being heard? That the Presidential Debate Commission is headed, controlled and owned by the Democratic and Republican Parties and that they will never allow a third party candidate to join in, UNLESS he is obviously a maniac (Alan Keyes) or unless they have the money to buy the ads and influence (PipSqueak Perot, anyone?… yes, I voted for him).

This entire strategy of Corporatism and Lies is going on in the world’s power centers and for the same reason. Keep control and when it finally all falls apart and we literally begin to die (as in going to heaven or hell for you Christians) they will keep the power.

This is the same strategy now being implemented in Canada, England, Australia, and most other countries around the world. The corporate interests are locking down “democracy” to ensure their interests prevail in the coming time of scarcity.

Think back the last few election cycles and understand that it has been total bullshit accusations and issues that mean NOTHING in the scheme of things that gets them the win. Think back to all the candidates of the last 20 years (maybe longer) and realize that they were all basically the same on the policy of corporatism, war and imperialisation.

It was heartening to see yesterday that Republican/Libertarian U.S. Congressman Ron Paul brought Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Nader together for an alternative party unity event. This is the kind of alliance building beyond the two corporate parties that is much needed. It won’t have any immediate effect but long-term could serve to bring the growing numbers of disaffected voters into the camp of those who are pushing for ballot access law changes which are crucial if we ever hope to break the current log jam. By coming together these disparate forces also begin to break down walls of distrust and begin to see they share many common concerns.

Organizing against empire is always a one-step forward, two-steps back process. We have a long way to go before we can begin to break down the walls of the entrenched power structure. Until it happens the “electoral” corporate bread and circus will continue. Look for more debates about pigs, lipstick and the like.

Aren’t you sick of being force fed the lesser of two evils when you can, simply by waking up to what they are doing to you, your family and your country and look elsewhere? How many years, how many lies, how many deaths does it take? If everyone that thinks this way, but is too scared to vote for anyone EXCEPT the maniac McCain were to vote for real change, we could shake up this country and finally do what is right. Hold the bastards responsible who have gotten us in this shape. Then reverse it.

The Big Two won’t do either and most of you know this deep down.

How To End The Two Party Political Stranglehold On America

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

Ron Paul urges Americans to vote for third-party candidates

The U.S. Presidential campaign has taken a new turn with the former candidate Ron Paul launching a crusade against both John McCain and Barack Obama. At a news conference, Paul joined three third-party candidates in presenting a united front to shift attention away from the front runners. By coming together, we represent a majority of the American people. We deserve to be heard. We deserve to be in the debates, The former Republican presidential hopeful said:

The Texas Congressman has generated a devoted following that many have called a revolutionary movement. Dr. Paul even organised his own Convention in Minnesota, attracting 18,000 people.

While he has officially dropped out of the race for the White House, his message is one for change but definitely not the type offered by Obama or McCain.

Obama is not for change. He beats McCain into sending more money to Afghanistan. And they both want to send troops and more money into Georgia, he said.

Ron Paul said he has rejected a plea from the McCain campaign to endorse him, though he did call the republican nominee ‘the lesser of two evils.’

Instead hes rallied behind third-party candidates like Libertarian Ralph Nader, who took the opportunity to criticise media coverage of the election.

It’s demeaning to the media, to the American people and to our status around the world to engage in trivia about political gaffs, he said.

The third-party presidential candidates plan to hold their own debates parallel to those organised for McCain and Obama, in response to the media blackout on their campaigns.

The mainstream media has dubbed Nader a Perennial presidential candidate and a spoiler for taking votes away from the main candidates.

Green Party Candidate Cynthia McKinney also took the floor to declare her independence from the current political order.

The politics of today is politics of conformity and of control. And basically the two-party system represents just that, she said.

A was message echoed by Charles Baldwin whos running on the Constitution Party ticket.

It’s a broken system. The two major parties have not only a monopoly but stranglehold a on the political process system that choking the lifeblood out of our country, he stated.

The four candidates share the same views when it comes to foreign policy. They condemn U.S. intervention in Georgia and the decision to send a billion-dollar aid package.

Have you ever thought when you send a billion dollar aid that maybe there’s someone hungry in the United States or who needs medical care? Ron Paul wondered.

McKinney said it was totally inappropriate for the U.S. to send so-called humanitarian aid on a naval ship. She also called NATO’s eastward expansion a dangerous move that could stir another Cold War.

The third-party presidential candidates have no illusions about sitting down in the Oval Office next January. Their goal is to change the two-party system in Washington. They call it the ‘beginning of the realignment of American politics.

Ivan Canas says:
The US has betrayed itself, Russia & the World.

When the Soviet Union Collapsed there were several agreements that the United States and the European Union should have followed. But that was not the case, they have chosen to execute that wise spanish proverb which states: “Out of the fallen tree everybody makes logs or takes cuttings”

So, the EU started to expand too fast. However, Russia never minded that part too much, but they did mind NATO. The expansion of NATO is a very dangerous decision, because it awakes suspicion and lack of trust.

NATO expansion was executed and still despite the agreements reached in the past. James Baker former US Secretary of State pledged that NATO was not to be expanded to the East if the Soviet Union agreed to unify Germany and accepted the ‘new Germany’ within the alliance. That was a promise that the United States did to the WORLD.

Saakashvili’s action was supported by the US and some members of the European Union.

Russia has been responsible of its acts and it has stopped a masacre provoked by Georgia, but as I said before in others of my youtube ‘more info comments’, Russia will not accept that its national interest are ignored.

Bill Clinton and George Bush are to blame for this state of affairs in the world.

Russia has complied and even experience a very bad economic period during the nineties when the International Monetary Fund was applying its policies there.

Honor The Soldier By Stopping The Illegal and Bogus War

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

If there is nothing else about 9/11 that you consider, it should be our brave men and women in uniform who perform their duties, in light of the lies and deceit the idiots who sent them carried out on us.

You, rednecks, can stop this shit. You are the only ones left. Remember the honor your parents brought you up with. Remember them telling you to stand up for your rights and to own this country.

It is us rednecks that can make a change. The fools we call leaders will not.

How Can A Nobody Make A Difference?

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

missykcarr found this clip and sent it to me this morning. It is inspiring because it showed me how I can make a difference on a local level, without going door to door. I would assume that many of the koolaid drinkers will roll eyes, but there are many people in this country that are suspicious and understand that something is amiss.

Find out when your local city council is meeting and see if you can get some time to address them. With any luck, you can get some media coverage, but if acceptable in the rules, bring your video camera and film yourself (or find a friend to do it) and post it on line (or give to someone that can).

Was Al Qaeda Behind The 9/11 Attacks?

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

From Fighting Tyranny:

Global Poll: Less Than Half Believe Al-Qaeda Behind 9/11

A new global poll conducted across 17 countries has found that less than half of those surveyed believe Al-Qaeda was behind the 9/11 attacks, with a full 15 per cent believing that the terrorist outrage was directly perpetrated by the U.S. government.

On the eve of the 7th anniversary of 9/11, the poll underscores how a majority of people still do not buy the official story, despite numerous attempts to reinforce the explanation that 19 hijackers at the behest of Osama bin Laden were the culprits behind the plot.

“The survey of 16,063 people in 17 nations found majorities in only nine countries believe al Qaeda was behind the attacks on New York and Washington that killed about 3,000 people in 2001,” reports Reuters.

Overall, 46 per cent of those surveyed believed the attacks were carried out by Al-Qaeda, 25 per cent do not know who carried out the attacks, 15 per cent state the U.S. government was behind the attacks, 7 per cent blame Israel and a further 7 per cent blame other perpetrators.

The poll, conducted by WorldPublicOpinion.org, reveals that people in Mexico lay the blame on the U.S. government (30 per cent) in numbers just 3 per cent less than Al-Qaeda (33 per cent).

The figures represent a blow to debunkers who have attempted to argue that skepticism towards the official 9/11 story is a radical fringe belief. In reality, the majority of people believe an explanation other than the official story or at least have doubts about the official version.

“In Europe, al Qaeda was cited by 56 percent of Britons and Italians, 63 percent of French and 64 percent of Germans. The U.S. government was to blame, according to 23 percent of Germans and 15 percent of Italians,” according to the report.

“Israel was behind the attacks, said 43 percent of people in Egypt, 31 percent in Jordan and 19 percent in the Palestinian Territories. The U.S. government was blamed by 36 percent of Turks and 27 percent of Palestinians.”

Skepticism towards the official 9/11 story is even more intense in the United States.

An October 2006 CBS/New York Times poll found that a mere 16% of Americans thought the U.S. government was telling the truth about 9/11. A further 53% thought the White House was “hiding something” and 28% said they were “mostly lying”.

That’s 81% who do not trust the official version of events and 16% who do – with a further 3% in the “don’t know” category.

Palin As President Is Like A Bad Disney Movie (and dangerous)

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

Well said, Mr Damon.

But please do not underestimate the total idiocy of the people on the right. They can be fooled so easily, like gullible little children wanting candy, they will follow these maniacs to their own graves.

How America became so god damned stupid is beyond me, but it has happened.

WTF Thursday: Soggy Bags Of Human Feces And Urine

Posted by BuelahMan on September 11, 2008

What was this dude thinking? From TheDenverNewsChannel

“Put these gloves on you little bastards. I’m going show you some shit and teach you a lesson!”

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado Springs elementary school principal has apologized for making students look inside a soggy bag of human feces and urine.

Peyton Elementary Principal Michael Auclaire said he wanted to make a point to the students because someone had been leaving human waste on the floor and toilet seats in a girl’s lavatory generally used by fourth- and fifth-graders.

Some parents complained Auclaire’s actions were inappropriate and created a health risk.

Auclaire said he has apologized in person to the students and by letter to their parents. He said he realizes it was “not the best thing to do.”

Auclaire said the students were given janitorial gloves to wear before holding the bag and were told to wash their hands afterward.

He said he wanted to make the kids to understand how inappropriate it was to defecate on the floor or a toilet seat.

‘Someone had been leaving’ shit on the floor??? Just what does that mean? So you fill a bag with shit till its soggy?
