Well, Paul, I’m glad that you are finally seeing what I have been bitching about for many months now: that Obama is a shill for Big Money. No, you haven’t made the claim yet, but it is the logical thought process of anyone who is not emotionally invested in Barack or his administration (or the Democratic Party).
Being that you are a money brain, I wonder when you will make that simple migration of thought from one of “hope” to understanding that he is a part of the corrupt system. The basic fact that he appointed Geithner and understanding where he came from was enough for me to realize that nothing will change. That Geithner was going to push the same agenda that the Bush idiots were pushing.
Paul, what if they were intent upon bringing down our system? Have you even considered that? That this is purposeful?

Financial Policy Despair
Over the weekend The Times and other newspapers reported leaked details about the Obama administration’s bank rescue plan, which is to be officially released this week. If the reports are correct, Tim Geithner, the Treasury secretary, has persuaded President Obama to recycle Bush administration policy — specifically, the “cash for trash” plan proposed, then abandoned, six months ago by then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
This is more than disappointing. In fact, it fills me with a sense of despair.
Yes, Mr Krugman, disappointment doesn’t even scratch the surface of my reaction and feelings towards this rip-off of the American poor. I have felt despair for a long time now, because I have seen our manufacturing base dry up since 2000… slow, steady and more progressively every day. I have watched as so many talking heads came out endorsing Obama when really they were simply supporting the perceived “lessor of two evils”.
There is but one significant difference between the two party candidates in this realm… color. As a matter of fact, there is ONLY that one small difference between virtually any of them running, with two exceptions (Paul and Kucinich); oh, and one had a vagina. But no, instead of Americans supporting the two soundest voices within the two corrupt parties, what did you mushbrains do? Vote in a black Bush/McCain when it comes to the most prescient issues that face us today.
“But Obama inherited this mess.”
Yeah? So what? He knew it was a mess when he ran. Just because they didn’t run on the issue doesn’t mean they didn’t know. Any thinking person knew what was coming. Me, a stupid ole redneck knew. Why not you, Mr Krugman (or Mr and Mrs America). I am no smarter than you, I just pay attention.
Maybe it is high time this country really starts paying some attention. But somehow, I think it is a tad too late.

You will need it come August or September, when bread hits $12- 15 per loaf and other foods are unavailable or too expensive.
I worked on my tractor all weekend to prepare. I am working on my garden plan this evening after work and intend to have it planted this weekend.

I hardly ever call out those that serve in the military, especially those who serve in the USA (why? because the vast majority are simply following orders). However, just as any other military, there will be those who are inside that relish killing others. To refuse to admit it is perilous and stupid.
But even the very small percentage found in our military are likely not as blatant about their hatred and kill-lust as some found in the Israeli Army… who, apparently thrill to the kill of children and pregnant women. So much so that there is a thriving market for the T-Shirts that a callous and destructive brainwashed citizenship just loves to wear (sounds a lot like America, huh?)
But, there are two other videos that you really should watch over at her site, especially the first one describing what it is like for a Palestinian family in Gaza to survive attacks from this murderous and maniacal little propped up country called Israel. And yes, it is us who are propping their murders up.
And yes, we have a long history that apparently taught our little Mini-Me a thing or two. It appears that Israel learned that they have “redskin savages” and “Niggers” to get rid of, just like we did (do). My, how the Bulldog has taught the terrier well.
