When Will Guido Come Calling?

Posted by BuelahMan on March 7, 2009

mafia

There comes a time in every old mafia movie where “The Enforcer” (many times named Guido) is sent out to collect payment. Its never a pretty scene, usually ending up with broken knee-caps or a cap to the back of the head.

There are some frightening things happening right now within our government (erasure of many civil liberties, armed and active troops training for policing duty, FEMA prisons built, empty and ready for 02c195b9c7e4de91b90985b9653a396finmates) and one of the more scary to me is the debt generation we are putting ourselves through and the people we are asking to bail us out (namely, primarily, The Chinese).

Is it just me that thinks about what the retribution for causing this huge amount of mafia debt will be when we can’t (or WON’T) pay it back? What becomes the next step when it appears that a small shop owner can’t make his payment to The Boss? Guido comes calling and Guido means fucking business:

To resolve the issue of America we must be able to transcend conventions and restrictions. In history, when a country defeated another country or occupied another country, it could not kill all the people in the conquered land, because back then you could not kill people effectively with sabers or long spears, or even with rifles or machine guns. Therefore, it was impossible to gain a stretch of land without keeping the people on that land. However, if we conquered America in this fashion, we would not be able to make many people migrate there.

Only by using special means to “clean up” America will we be able to lead the Chinese people there. This is the only choice left for us. This is not a matter of whether we are willing to do it or not. What kind of special means is there available for us to “clean up” America? Conventional weapons such as fighters, canons, missiles and battleships won’t do; neither will highly destructive weapons such as nuclear weapons. We are not as foolish as to want to perish together with America by using nuclear weapons, despite the fact that we have been exclaiming that we will have the Taiwan issue resolved at whatever cost. Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many people will we be able to reserve America for ourselves. There has been rapid development of modern biological technology, and new bio weapons have been invented one after another. Of course we have not been idle; in the past years we have seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind. We are capable of achieving our purpose of “cleaning up” America all of a sudden. When Comrade Xiaoping was still with us, the Party Central Committee had the perspicacity to make the right decision not to develop aircraft carrier groups and focus instead on developing lethal weapons that can eliminate mass populations of the enemy country.

From a humanitarian perspective, we should issue a warning to the American people and persuade them to leave America and leave the land they have lived in to the Chinese people. Or at least they should leave half of the United States to be China’s colony, because America was first discovered by the Chinese. But would this work? If this strategy does not work, then there is only one choice left to us. That is, use decisive means to “clean up” America, and reserve America for our use in a moment. Our historical experience has proven that as long as we make it happen, nobody in the world can do anything about us. Furthermore, if the United States as the leader is gone, then other enemies have to surrender to us.

Biological weapons are unprecedented in their ruthlessness, but if the Americans do not die then the Chinese have to die. If the Chinese people are strapped to the present land, a total societal collapse is bound to take place. According to the computation of the author of Yellow Peril, more than half of the Chinese will die, and that figure would be more than 800 million people! Just after the liberation, our yellow land supported nearly 500 million people, while today the official figure of the population is more than 1.3 billion. This yellow land has reached the limit of its capacity. One day, who knows how soon it will come, the great collapse will occur any time and more than half of the population will have to go.

We must prepare ourselves for two scenarios. If our biological weapons succeed in the surprise attack [on the United States], the Chinese people will be able to keep their losses at a minimum in the fight against the United States. If, however, the attack fails and triggers a nuclear retaliation from the United States, China would perhaps suffer a catastrophe in which more than half of its population would perish. That is why we need to be ready with air defense systems for our big and medium-sized cities. Whatever the case may be, we can only move forward fearlessly for the sake of our Party and state and our nation’s future, regardless of the hardships we have to face and the sacrifices we have to make. The population, even if more than half dies, can be reproduced. But if the Party falls, everything is gone, and forever gone!

Now, DeProgram says in the intro to the piece that they cannot verify if this so-called speech is real or not (it is most definitely long and freaking scary as hell). This guy compares the Chinese people to Nazis, but even better. Then he truly takes the cake in the outlandish and open explanation of total annihilation of the American public, to be “cleaned up” and them take over (almost to the point to make this unbelievable… which is why I hesitated so long to make mention of it). Also note that this speech was supposedly given a few years ago and could totally be a hoax, but when I see something like this, surely I should share and let you make up your own mind to its authenticity or whether or not it warrants a warning:

It is indeed brutal to kill one or two hundred million Americans. But that is the only path that will secure a Chinese century, a century in which the CCP leads the world. We, as revolutionary humanitarians, do not want deaths. But if history confronts us with a choice between deaths of Chinese and those of Americans, we’d have to pick the latter, as, for us, it is more important to safeguard the lives of the Chinese people and the life of our Party. That is because, after all, we are Chinese and members of the CCP. Since the day we joined the CCP, the Party’s life has always been above all else! History will prove that we made the right choice.

Now, when I am about to finish my speech, you probably understand why we conducted this online survey. Simply put, through conducting this online survey we wanted to know whether the people would rise against us if one day we secretly adopt resolute means to “clean up” America. Would more people support us or oppose us? This is our basic judgment: if our people approve of shooting at prisoners of war, women and children, then they would approve our “cleaning up” America. For over twenty years, China has been enjoying peace, and a whole generation has not been tested by war. In particular, since the end of World War II, there have been many changes in the formats of war, the concept of war and the ethics of war. Especially since the collapse of the former Soviet Union and Eastern European Communist states, the ideology of the West has come to dominate the world as a whole, and the Western theory of human nature and Western view of human rights have increasingly disseminated among the young people in China. Therefore, we were not very sure about the people’s attitude. If our people are fundamentally opposed to “cleaning up” America, we will, of course, have to adopt corresponding measures.

Cleaning Up.

So, this morning I happened to read about VX Gas (supposedly the topic of the show “Eleventh Hour”, which, until today, I had never even heard of) at Discover Magazine and how to survive. I rethought my shrugging off the Chinese statement and decided to post about this and allow you to make your own informed opinion.

Here’s how you survive VX (the world’s “deadliest chemical weapon”):

We see nerve gas often enough on TV and the silver screen that it’s worth understanding out just how it works. VX gas can be deadly when ingested or when it makes contact on the skin. Depending on how much exposure a victim has suffered, it can kill in 10 minutes or a couple of hours. It functions by interfering with the break down of acetylcholine in the muscles. Normally when a nerve fires, acetylcholine is released to cause the muscle to contract. After the contaraction, an enzyme is released to break down the acetylcholine, allowing the muscle to relax. The phosphorous in the VX gas bonds with the enzyme, causing the acetylcholine to stay in place, leading to muscle contractions and spasming. Death can result from asphyxiation, but also from the victim harming themselves while in convulsions.

In the show, the brilliant Dr. Hood comes upon a victim seconds after she has been exposed to the chemical. He does exactly the right thing: He triggers the emergency shower immediately, stripes off the exposed clothing and gets as much of the VX off her as possible. The poison can be countered with an antidote, so people exposed to the gas can be saved if they’re treated in time. They’re only hope is that their exposure is low enough that they can get to the hospital. A high dose can kill in 10 minutes, a low one might take hours to kick in. VX, even in gas form, is heavier than air, so the key to surviving it is to get to fresh air and high ground (which means you have to do the opposite of what you would do in case of a dirty bomb or atomic explosion, where the goal is to avoid radioactive fallout by going inside and staying on the lower floors, as fallout can settle on roofs, so make sure you can tell your apocalyptic scenarios apart!)

This public service message brought to you by Science Not Fiction. You may resume normal activity.

So back to Guido: Could China be ready to come a calling? Will it be a broken kneecap or a cap to the guido-chimphead? For sure as hell, we won’t ever be able to pay it back.

Richard Noggin’ Saturday: New Administration

Posted by BuelahMan on March 7, 2009

bush_groping_merkel

And I thought George “W” Bush was a clown. Apparently, the suave and sophisticated Barack Obama and family are not necessarily clownish, but certainly lack the tact most supporters thought they had. As a redneck, I know I am even more uncouth, but dangit, people, I ain’t “leading the free world”.

But it is not limited to them, for it also includes Hillary Clinton and others. Its an American thing, I suppose. By and large, much less sophisticated and more raw/real in interactions. Referencing the picture above, I wonder how many people felt like this was just a “good ole boy” act? No harm done. No offense meant.

To me, and long ago I pulled a stunt very similar and learned very quickly how unacceptable that is (especially among the world leaders sitting around a table discussing important issues), it is NOT acceptable. George acted as if he were in the locker room right before a game or something. Ignorant and stupid, sure (not to mention insulting from the aggressive, dominating expression it contained over a woman)… but downright rude and crude.

Jonathon Turley lays out the stupid Gift-Gaffs that the new administration has pulled. One thing I noticed was Hillary’s forced laugh (she does not lie well, when laughing) when she gave the “Red Button Gag Gift”. When I first saw the image, it was on the PC and I didn’t have sound to understand what was being said. Just the physical interaction and when she pulled out that little Red Button, the first thing that came to my mind was nuclear weapons and the button that can send them.

Am I the only one who considered this?

But, it isn’t only that little gaff. Apparently, the suaveness is not an international phenomena and that goes to prove that Americans really do not understand “Suaveness” or “sophistication”.

What brutes we are.

We could take tips from the English:

Beware of Obama Officials Bearing Gifts: Recent Gift Gaffes Show a Certain Lack of Tact and Sophistication in the New Administration

Author Richard Bach once said ““Every problem has a gift for you in its hands.” But what is the problem is the gift? That is the problem being contemplated by the Obama Administration after a series of truly embarrassing gift gaffes that make the country look cheap, unsophisticated, or ignorant — or all of the above. The gaffes range from an insulting gift inadvertently given to the Russians by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to a returning of a gift to England to the lack of class in giving gifts to the English Prime Minister.

Clinton thought that she had a novel idea for a gift by giving Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov a gift-wrapped red button that was supposed to say “reset” in Russian and English. It didn’t. “Peregruzka” means “overloaded” or “overcharged” and is viewed as a term of hostility. When Clinton look at a confused foreign minister asked if they got the word right, he said tersely, “You got it wrong,” Lavrov said. “This says ‘peregruzka,’ which means overcharged.” Clinton responded with a bit of a forced laugh and said “We won’t let you do that to us, I promise.” For the full story, click here. One would have hoped that a few people at the State Department might actually speak and read Russian as opposed to looking up terms in “Russian for Dummies” or wherever this particular word for found.

It was not a good week for Clinton after she got the names of EU diplomats wrong and left people shaking their heads at statement like:

“I have never understood multiparty democracy. It is hard enough with two parties to come to any resolution, and I say this very respectfully, because I feel the same way about our own democracy, which has been around a lot longer than European democracy.”

The European griped that they traced their democratic traditions to ancient Greece. They have a point. Madison and others cited the democratic roots of ancient Greece in forming our own representative democracy. For the EU story, click here.

The Obamas came off not as much uneducated as uncouth. First, the Obamas sent back a famous sculpture of Winston Churchill that had been loaned to President George Bush and sat in the Oval Office. I can certainly understand that desire to decorate the Oval Office as the Obamas prefer. After all, they kept Bush’s rug. However, they might have found another spot in the White House. Instead, they returned the gift, which rubbed many Britans the wrong way. The British had expressly offered to extend the loan for four years but the Obamas said that they would prefer to send it back. For the full story, click here. It was an odd decision because it is a widely respected and striking bust that was a very thoughtful cultural gift from our allies.

I am more sympathetic over the bust decision (though I believe it would have been wiser to keep it or send it back with greater tact) than I am the controversy over the gifts to Prime Minister and his family. Anyone who has traveled on official delegations will attest to the importance of gift exchanges. In the case of Gordon Brown and his family, the British did it right. Brown gave Obama a unique pen made from the wood of the HMS Gannet, the sister ship of the HMS Resolute. The President’s desk is made from the wood of the Resolute. For history bluffs like myself, it was an exciting and incredibly thoughtful gift. Brown also gave Obama a framed commission for HMS Resolute and a first edition of the seven-volume biography of Churchill by Sir Martin Gilbert. For her part, Mrs. Sarah Brown went to extraordinary lengths to get the correct sizes of Malia and Sasha to buy them dresses and matching necklaces from one of England’s best shops, Topshop. She also gave the girl’s pre-publication copies of children’s books.

What did we give the Browns? A box of 25 DVDs of movies like ET that you could pick up for less than $200 in England. It left the impression for some British citizens that we thought that they did not actually have things like DVDs or somehow missed the release of The Wizard of Oz. For the Brown boys, Fraser and John, the Obama’s gave them cheap replicas of Marine One which appeared to have been grabbed in the White House gift shop shortly before the event.

I am truly the last person to object about such issues of the protocol. However, I agree with irate British writers that the treatment of the Blairs was insulting and embarrassing. The First Lady has an entire office and staff that is dedicated to such events. It is indeed one of the most important jobs of the First Lady. The President has an entire cadre of protocol specialists. We looked perfectly wretched in all of this. It is not the diplomatic slight. As a private host, I would have felt obligated to show more effort for a visitor from abroad.

The new Administration may have a considerable number of tasks at hand but they should work a bit harder on acquiring a bit more tact.

Italian migration policy draws fire

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7880215.stm

Italy has been transformed in recent decades from a nation of emigrants to a target country for mass immigration. Aidan Lewis reports on the Italian government’s response to the tensions that have ensued, and the concerns raised by human rights groups and Italy’s European partners.
Edward Ampadu stands with his companions in a damp, abandoned factory that is home for the winter to more than 600 African immigrants.
There is just one tap, and the men are living in shelters made from cardboard boxes, squatting while they look for work picking citrus fruit in the fields of Calabria, on the country’s southern toe.
Most arrived by a dangerous route through the Sahara desert and across the Mediterranean, and most have no legal right to be in Italy.
“Everybody here is struggling,” says Edward, a 42-year-old from Ghana. A poor harvest means fewer jobs to go round this year, he says, and the migrants say they need help to survive.
“We are appealing to the authorities. They know that people are here, and therefore they need to help.”
These agricultural workers illustrate the challenges facing a wandering, immigrant underclass in Italy.
But while the migrants look to Rome for help, Rome looks to Europe.
Italy and other “frontline” Mediterranean countries have been offered little help as they struggle with an issue that concerns all of Europe, the government says.
Its reaction to the problem, meanwhile, has drawn sharp criticism from human rights groups and European institutions.
Amid public alarm over an immigrant influx it has sent soldiers on to the streets, fingerprinted Roma (Gypsy) communities, and encouraged rapid expulsions and repatriations.
Some observers say Italy’s recent focus on border controls and security neglects integration policy, at a time when the immigrant population has grown to more than four million, almost 7% of the total.
“Italy’s becoming a caricature,” said Sergio Carrera, a research fellow at the Brussels-based Centre for European Policy Studies.
“It’s becoming the example of a very extreme political discourse framing migration as a security issue, and justifying the implementation of very restrictive policies, having huge implications for human rights, fundamental rights, and social inclusion.”
Sea patrols
Immigration is now an emotive, front-page issue in Italy, and a rallying cry for the Northern League, a partner in Silvio Berlusconi’s centre-right government.
IMMIGRANTS IN NUMBERS
Foreign residents: 3.7 million
Irregular immigrants: 650,000
Arrivals in 2007: 346,000
Arrivals by sea, 2008: 36,000
Sources: Istat, Caritas-Migrantes, UNHCR

The focus of media attention is often Lampedusa, the tiny Italian island south of Sicily that is the arrival point for most of those – including many of the farm workers in Calabria – who complete the journey from North Africa.
Analysts say those arriving by sea make up only a fraction of total annual arrivals, and that most irregular immigrants in Italy enter legally then overstay.
But the government points out that the estimated 36,000 would-be immigrants landing on Italy’s shores last year accounted for more than half the irregular entries to Europe by sea.
Roberto Maroni, Italy’s Northern League interior minister, said in January that 2009 would mark the “end of the landings”, promising that a long-awaited pact to patrol coasts with former colony Libya would come into effect.

My concern as interior minister is to guarantee the highest possible levels of security, first and foremost by combating clandestine immigration
Roberto Maroni

To the anger of islanders and immigrants, who both staged protests, he also announced that all adults would be kept on Lampedusa while asylum requests were processed. This quickly led to severe overcrowding and the decision was reversed, but concern remains over conditions on the island, and alleged political pressure for rapid expulsions.
Together with Greece, Malta and Cyprus, Mr Maroni also issued a new plea for the EU to “make a more effective effort” at stemming the flow of immigrants, including through its recently established border patrol agency, Frontex.
“We believe that [border] security in the Mediterranean is directly connected to the security of the whole European Union,” he said.
Frontex ran 150 days of joint sea patrols in the central Mediterranean in 2008.
In a separate initiative earlier last month, EU external relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner offered Libya 20m euros (£18m) to help boost border controls.
Security bill
Italy’s hardline approach to immigration policy is not unique, says Hugo Brady, an expert at the Centre for European Reform in London.
“In the main they only reflect sentiments which can be seen in a lot of other West European countries – that the time for tolerant immigration policy in their mind is past,” he says.

Soldiers have been on the streets of Italy’s main cities since last summer

Even so, he said the Italians had been “marked out by their extremity”.
Among the measures that have caused concern among EU partners is the Italian government’s decision to declare a state of emergency in Rome, Milan and Naples last summer, deploying troops in the streets as part of a crackdown on illegal immigration.
Last month, an emergency decree designed to tackle rapes – many of which have been blamed on immigrants – gave official blessing to the formation of citizens’ street patrols.
A security bill awaiting final approval in the Italian parliament also contains several controversial provisions, including:
procedures for medical staff to denounce illegal immigrants
making illegal immigration a criminal offence punishable by a fine of 5,000-10,000 euros (£4,400-8,800)
prison terms of up to four years for those who defy expulsion orders
Thomas Hammarberg, Commissioner for human rights at the Council of Europe, a pan-European body that promotes democratic principles, says he is worried about a decision to extend the deployment of troops on the streets.
“We’re talking about police functions here,” he said. “It just dramatises the problems and tends to lead to hysteria.”
‘European solution’
Asked to justify the government’s security-focused approach to immigration, Mr Maroni cites crime statistics for 2007.
“The percentage of crimes linked to non-Italians was more than 35% and the non-Italians do not account for 35% of the people in Italy,” he says.
“All interpretations are legitimate. My concern as interior minister is to guarantee the highest possible levels of security, first and foremost by combating clandestine immigration.”

Thomas Hammarberg is critical of Italy’s approach

On some issues the government has been forced to back down, under pressure from the EU.
These include a provision for the expulsion of EU citizens that was devised for Romanian Roma and judged to clash with European rules on free movement.
It was withdrawn last year after the European Commission threatened to start infringement proceedings.
Italian policies are coming under increasing scrutiny as the EU struggles against concerns over sovereignty to devise a common immigration approach, analysts say.
In October EU states took a step towards this by signing a non-binding immigration pact that encourages readmission treaties with countries of origin, selective immigration, and an end to mass amnesties for illegal immigrants of the kind introduced in Spain and Italy.
But for some human rights activists, the EU needs to play a firmer role protecting immigrants in member states and backing integration.
Mr Hammarberg criticizes Italy’s criminalizing of immigrants as the “wrong approach”.
“I think it is beginning to spread that there is a need for a European solution,” he says.
“The situation with Greece and Italy in particular calls for a much faster process of integrating the European countries’ policies on migration, so that you don’t have a competition downwards where people introduce fairly draconian policies in order to avoid people coming to their country.”

Let’s chat about ‘ wet foot- dry foot ‘ for a minute. The USA allows the Cubans in, with ear marked benefits at first… BUT the Haitians were pushed back to sea!!! Not allowed to touch the land… and God knows they drowned and died at sea!! These problems are world wide and inhumane, but the USA can not comment on what Italy is doing!!… we have had our inhumane days ourselves!! The Cubans timing benefited them.. But by 1980— nope, it was all gone–

The Cuban refugee story began in 1980, when as many Cubans left the island in five months as had benefited under CASA. More dramatically—and with much greater political effect—these fugitives, many encouraged by Castro himself in the Mariel boat lift episode, were later joined by some 35,000 fugitives from nearby Haiti in a common armada of fragile and tiny boats sailing toward Florida
The 1980 Refugee Act had just been passed; but neither group of bolseros had been formally classified as refugees, which meant that neither they nor the host communities (Dade County and Greater Miami) would be eligible for earmarked federal funds such as Medicaid and Aid to Families with Dependent Children for individuals and a support program for school districts.

B’Man’s Patrot Watch: Jean-Marie Le Pen

Posted by BuelahMan on March 7, 2009

Hot Damn!

Nicolas Sarkozy, President in Office of the European Council (Jul-Dec 2008) visits the European Parliament (Strasbourg) on 10 July 2008. He is taken on by Jean-marie Le Pen, leader and President of the Front National

If only there were patriots such as this in America who, when given the opportunity, will simply let the lying sumbitch have it (insert whichever asshole leader that is your preference, they are all the same basically). This hardly happens here because the message is so closely controlled and audiences screened. Even so, most people (especially Liberals) don’t have the balls to do such a thing. I believe I do have the balls to say it.

I know there are so many people out there still enamored with (read as “bullshitted by“) Mr Obama, but most of you (even the die hard rightwing rednecks) might have a thing or two to say if you could face Mr Bush. I know I would, anyway. But Bush is old news and we now have another lying, Big Money-owned, War Monger to address.

I can only imagine getting the opportunity to preparing and presenting such a statement on issues like the Big Military (MIC: Military Industrial Complex) and Big Banking. How disgusted we are, as a nation, that you folks are pissing our money up the Fat Cat Ropes who suck it up and hold on to it as if it was their’s, for God’s sake. Or that you keep pouring it down the Iraq OccupationEnergy Theft/Imperialization shithole. Or are wanting to spend even more in other shitholes we have no business in (except the OIL business).

Only a few of us are ready to admit the obvious, that Big Money owns and controls you, just like the rest of your predecessors of the last 30-40 years (at least) and from my experience this week, you have many lame-brained sycophantic worshipers that would rather defend their decision that they voted for you than actually address these most prescient issues. Same ole, same ole. Different Party (supposedly), but the same old ignorant, brain-washed mentality. Fake Progressives more dedicated to the Party who relish in inconsequential issues… falling for the media brainwashing and wedge generation tactics (hell, feeding from it). Or worse, those who are so invested in their “decision” to vote for you that they are totally unwilling to consider that their “Savior” may actually be fucking up.

They are too far gone and just as oblivious as their right-wingnut cohorts. But you, Mr Obama, you offered us hope and are giving us shit sandwiches.

Thanks, but no thanks. Your sycophants may love the taste of shit, but it seems to me that I wouldn’t and the thought of it makes me puke.

If Only I could address the real issues face to face with you. I want to know why you shift-changed on militarism when campaigning… to being another “W” now? Why you shift-changed on Universal Healthcare? Holding people accountable? Illegal Wiretapping? Palestinian Support? Offshore drilling? Big Bank Bailouts? Etc, etc, etc.

I am not afraid to ask the questions that MUST be asked and answered for our citizenry  (although I am obviously uncouth and certainly unruly). But, By God, I ain’t afraid like most seem to be. And I beg for the opportunity. Because, if only I had it that opportunity, and you convinced me, I swear I would sing your praises as much or more than any of your brainless sycophants. But at the very least, you would get to hear my rant face to face (and I may get some personal satisfaction and gratification that I was able to do my part).

If ONLY…

I know I could never measure to Mr Le Pen’s performance, but damn, wouldn’t it be nice to finally get it off your chest to the one asshole who matters.

Winning Over The Hearts and Minds of America’s 51st State Policemen

Posted by BuelahMan on March 6, 2009

You think this is funny? You wanna call me out?” (I look at the weaponry on this man and those surrounding him, then look at the non-existent weapons on the Iraqis and he expects them to fight? LOL)

Why don’t I take your ass out back and kick your little ass?” (Make it an even fight and let’s see. Otherwise, these poor men are only hearing the machine guns and weaponry you and your posse are toting. Brave under the circumstances, huh?)

I got no problem beating any of your asses… not one.” (And the love pours down so much that the inspiration these Iraqis must be feeling at that very moment brings tears to my eyes. What an inspiring speaker and leader…)

I’m not gonna come down here and waste my fucking time, or my soldier’s lives because you don’t want to do shit.” (Then, by all means, go home, dammit. Let them have it. As it should be.)

You love seeing Americans die for your fucking country, but you won’t die for yourself (Tell that to the 1 Million + who are dead because of America’s illegal activities and deadly invasion)

Figure out what you want out of us or we are gonna stop coming down here (Promises, promises)

The winning Quote:

I don’t see your ass in my home town (And I bet you a million donuts to a dollar that they are wishing like hell that they didn’t see YOU in THEIR hometown… what a schmuck)

No shit, Sergeant Fuckstick? If they were here, you’d be killing them here or talking down to them, just like you do on THEIR soil.

Thing is, Master Gunnery Asshole, your “mission” is a bullshit illegal invasion and occupation.  Should you be even remotely surprised that those people don’t hate you with a passion and want you dead at every moment they are alive? Look what you (in my name) have done to them.

Pitiful.

And such is the method that people such as this guy use… invade, oppress, kill, maime, then treat them like the dogs you consider them to be. Well, as an American, I think it is all bullshit and you are perpetuating the bullshit due to your evil indoctrination. There isn’t an honorable reason or thing you are doing there. The Iraqis know it and the majority of Americans know it. Hell, the whole world knows it, yet you are living in a dream world, as if these people are neholden to you (or America) for the travesty we have bestowed upon them.

If you or any military person thinks, even for a second, that these people want you there in the capacity you are, you are fucking nuts. Just like your money quote, they don’t WANT to be in your hometown doing to your folks and family what you have done to theirs. That, in and of itself, speaks huge volumes.

Let me tell you the best thing to do: get the fuck out of their country. Then you can go to your own hometown and get that McDonalds job you are obviously more suited for. I wonder if the fry cooks would be inspired by your “pep talk”? Maybe even some transplanted Iraqi “Dogs” you can beat around?

I Apologize To No One For My Writing At This Blog

Posted by BuelahMan on March 5, 2009

I was inundated with negative commentary at a friend’s blog where I posted a portion of this article I wrote back in Dec about the issue of Mr Obama’s birth certificate. In that article, I point out that it is quite easy to have a birth certificate manipulated and I have done so myself, altho for totally different reasons.

What this means is that I have an original birth certificate, typewritten (there were no computer generated BC’s back then) and a newer one with a different name, but the same date (newer fonts and computer generated).

Since that article, I have said very little about the subject of Mr Obama’s citizenship, because I don’t know. I am not trying to prove it one way or the other, but I would be just another lemming if I didn’t tell my story. It is a shame that my “friends” are so invested in Mr Obama that they would rather ravage me and my thoughts than actually address the details of my writing.

You let you emotions control you because you invested your vote and confidence in a man who has lied repeatedly.

Look, I will not jump on the Barack Hussein Obama bashing bandwagon and say I KNOW FOR SURE that he wasn’t born in Hawaii, but, if people are honest and truthfully looking for reality, he has NOT shown proof of any such thing. The so-called “Progressives”, led by Digby and C&L and all those Democratic Party-invested and complicit “liberals” who now think they are the shit have not done a damned thing to prove his citizenry, any more than the other side has proved him ineligible.

But do not, for a fucking second, tell me that things can’t be manipulated in this country, especially a piece of paper. I have lived it, done it, and know beyond any shadow of a doubt that the graphics shown as proof at all these “progressive” sites are not ORIGINAL birth certificates.

As I have said then and now, show the original or shut the fuck up.

Until then, I owe no one an apology for my questioning a man who has done nothing but lie over and over to us so we, the real progressives, voted his lying ass into office.

But, BuelahMan, things change and he had to change his stances on his promises.

You Fucking Sheople make me sick.

Rep Conyers Wants Your Input

Posted by BuelahMan on March 5, 2009

I hope this is not too late, but please try to write a quick note, if you can. Americans are being shut out of the insurance issue. Why? Because the vast majority of us want some type of single payer, not-for-profit universal healthcare. Sure, there are a few rightwing idiots that are still falling for the Rush meme and believe that Will Bunch has a clue, but in reality, like the life I live as opposed to the luxurious like Bunk and Limpballs live, most Americans and even health care professionals want to see health insurance companies go.

If you work in health insurance you should be ashamed, but beyond that, you should be out of a job. You have bled dry enough Americans, and killed as many or more that you deserve not even a smidget of sympathy or concern. You have ravaged America and I hope you all go fucking broke and starve, for this is precisely where you are heading me.

Now, for the real Americans who understad what a situation we find ourselves and how close to ruin many of us are financially, please take time to write Mr Conyers and state you case. h/t writechic

My letter is below:

Rep Conyers,

I appreciate this opportunity. Since you are the only obvious attendee to the summit that has a eye towards Single Payer, not-for-profit healthcare (or the closest thing to it), I just had to tell my story (which ca be multiplied countless times throughout the USA).

I spend $1150/month on health insurance premiums thru BCBSofMS.

I spend, on average, $25,000 out of pocket yearly.

I am a small business owner who made a calculated decision based upon the American Dream to pursue the very highest technologies available in manufacturing (and now sale robots and automation systems to factories… the few that remain).

I had to sell my house to keep up with health insurance and medical costs. I have had to borrow against credit cards to keep myself afloat, especially as the economy is tanking.

I am being bled to death because I want to play by the rules. However, the rules have been hijacked by an entity that should not even exist: Health Insurance Companies and a complicit leadership who get their largest campaign contributions from these very people and are inundated by their presence on a near daily basis by lobbyists with plenty of cash to go around. Thing is, my family is dying because of it and it must be changed.

It is that one business model that has the most control and devastating effect on poor people such as I and every neighbor I have.

You need to tell the truth and confront Mr Obama about his rhetoric (lies) regarding this issue and ask why the vast majority of American’s desire would be what I suggest… cull the insurance companies from their take of $.31 of every $1.00 and go to a universal style system.

Big Money owns most of Congress and the president. I hold little hope for most of you, but I do hold out hope. You, Mr Kucinich and a couple of others understand the plight and don’t appear to be owned by these coffers. However, it is obvious that my Rep does (Marsha Blackburn)… easily identified by viewing where her campaign dollars come from.

We need to completely change the system to mimic other universal healthcare systems.

And, no, don’t mimic the Canadian system, or the English System, per se.

This is America, for God’s sake. Can we not evaluate the systems of the world, pick and choose those that make sense and implement them here before we all go bankrupt (for I am a breath away, struggling to work as hard as I can in a failing economy who’s manufacturing is dying on the vine)?

Mr Conyers, I am telling you that you need to stand up for the people since it is obvious this “summit” is more meant for the Big Money coffers of Mr Obama and the rest of the worthless bunch that represents us (yours truly and two others excluded from that remark).

You compatriots aren’t doing very well.

It is up to you now, sir, to stand up for the REAL America… not that fake one perpetuated by the MSM and the fools like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

I am counting on you.

MPP Alert: 10 Signs of Progress in The Last 4 Months

Posted by BuelahMan on March 4, 2009

I have felt an attitude shift on the legalization rationale for a while. It is obvious that a majority of people want it decriminalized, if not re-legalized totally. With The Greatest Depression facing America, many individual states will likely pursue this route, for the tax benefit alone. But there are a multitude of reasons why it should be made legal and one that has recently grabbed my attention as a means of securing a financial living is hemp farming. Jim Rogers believes that farming will become one of the next great careers.

It just so happens that I have access to 150 acres of farm land that I could begin immediate planting on. I have all the farm equipment and implements to start today, if it were legal (or if everyone begins to starve and food stuff will be the world’s best commodity). I wouldn’t even bother with the smokable stuff as a cash crop (although I can see myself growing and experimenting with different strains, etc).

Many probably just consider me a conspiracy nut, but I am not imagining the actions and attitude that is being thrust upon us. I study these issues in great detail and I am telling you that we are nowhere near the bottom of this mess. Things are about to get bad. Starvation bad.

As Jim Rogers pointed out at the link, if we are not prepared, we are setting ourselves up to take a hit from a “two by four” that will hurt “very, very, very badly”.

So, I see some solutions and as Mr Kampia points out (my name changed to protect the innocent) there is reason to be excited about this particular issue. I wish this were a simple civil rights issue, but if it takes such a financial hit for people to realize how fucking stupid we have been conducting ourselves with this medicine, so be it:

Dear Rednecks:

After MPP passed the medical marijuana ballot initiative in Michigan and the marijuana decriminalization ballot initiative in Massachusetts — both on November 4 — I thought the MPP staff might get a little downtime to regroup for the 2009-2010 election cycle. Not so.

In the last four months, the MPP staff and our allies have been working almost nonstop to respond to — and take advantage of — the many opportunities that have been presenting themselves across the country. I’ve never seen so much evidence of positive change in such a short amount of time …

1.  MARIJUANA THE BIGGEST ISSUE: Two huge surveys of citizen activists across the country — one on Change.gov on December 12, and one on Change.org on January 15 — showed that the number-one issue on people’s minds is ending the government’s war on marijuana users.

2.  BONG HIT SEEN AROUND THE WORLD: On February 1, the world learned that Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps had used marijuana a few months before, demonstrating yet again that using marijuana is compatible with being wildly successful in our society. When Kellogg’s dropped its endorsement contract with Phelps — and MPP and other organizations responded by calling for a boycott of Kellogg’s — the public’s perception of Kellogg’s took a nose dive.

3.  EL PASO RESPONDS TO MEXICAN VIOLENCE: Responding to the prohibition-caused violence just over the border in Mexico, on January 6 the El Paso City Council unanimously passed a resolution calling for “an honest, open national debate on ending the prohibition of narcotics,” which drew the ire of some Texas politicians but also sparked a great deal of positive media coverage nationwide.

4.  NATIONAL POLLING HIGHEST EVER: Between January 11 and February 14, three different national polls indicated that either 40%, 41%, or 44% of the American people now support ending marijuana prohibition.  This is the highest level of support since marijuana was first prohibited in 1937, with support having risen by 1% a year since 1995.

5.  REVOLT IN LATIN AMERICA: On February 12, a commission led by three former presidents from Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico released a long-awaited report that blasted the U.S. drug war and called for the decriminalization of marijuana.

6.  ENDING THE DEA’s RAIDS IN CALIFORNIA: On February 25, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the DEA would no longer be raiding medical marijuana clinics in California and the 12 other states where medical marijuana is legal.

7.  MEDICAL MARIJUANA BILLS MOVING: MPP’s medical marijuana bills are moving through the Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and New York Legislatures, and the Drug Policy Alliance’s similar legislation is moving in New Jersey. We have a real chance of making medical marijuana legal in four of these six states this year and — in the meantime — it’s very possible that Montana and Rhode Island will expand their existing medical marijuana laws, too.

8.  BROADER MARIJUANA BILLS MOVING: California shook the nation when a bill to tax and regulate marijuana was introduced on February 23. And even before that happened, the Hawaii, Montana, Vermont, and Washington Legislatures had already begun considering bills to decriminalize marijuana.

9.  MPP DOMINATING ON YOUTUBE: As of today, MPP’s channel on YouTube.com is the 10th most subscribed of all nonprofit channels, and MPP’s videos are consistently in the top 10 most-viewed of all nonprofit videos in any given week. (And our 65,000 friends on MySpace.com places MPP among the top 10 most popular nonprofit organizations there, too.)

10.  ONGOING MEDIA EXPLOSION: According to the weekly reports we get from Google, MPP has been getting its message into the news in the last month at 10 times the volume of previous months. And four different national TV specials are tentatively scheduled to look at marijuana over just a two-month span: CNBC looked at the marijuana industry in northern California on January 22, NBC’s “Dateline” covered the Rachel Hoffman tragedy in Florida on January 23, ABC’s “20/20″ with John Stossel will be looking at medical marijuana on March 13, and MSNBC with Al Roker will be looking at the multi-billion-dollar marijuana industry on March 15.

Thank you for anything and everything you’ve done to help bring all this attention and success to our movement. If you’d like to help even more, please make a donation today so that we may continue with the onslaught of work that continues to pile up on our plates.

Sincerely,

Kampia signature (e-mail sized)

Rob Kampia
Executive Director
Marijuana Policy Project
Washington, D.C.

P.S. As I’ve mentioned in previous alerts, a major philanthropist has committed to match the first $2.35 million that MPP can raise from the rest of the planet in 2009. This means that your donation today will be doubled.

P.P.S. You can opt out of receiving fundraising mentions in the e-mail alerts I send you in 2009 by visiting www.mpp.org/2009optoutpreference at your convenience.

Bad Cops: Deputy Jonathan Rackard of the Washington County Florida

Posted by BuelahMan on March 3, 2009

This is evidence that our country has truly become a police state. If you can stomach watching the video (h/t Jonathon Turley), do so, but keep in mind that this police officer has Mr Buckley hand-cuffed and secure on the side of the road. I don’t know about Florida, but many states have the police officer wait until he can get backup.

This asshole not only tazes the guy three times, you can watch as he jabs the little electrical spikes into Mr Buckley’s back to inflict even more pain. When a cop’s pursuit ends up being an infliction of pain to get a subject, who by everything from what I saw may be mentally unstable, then he no longer is suitable to do that kind of work. This asshole needs prison time, but at least get him a fry basket so he can work at McDonald’s.

But not is the good ole US of A. No, here, a cop can taze a crying mess of a man who was no more a danger to the cop than I am at this desk. Deputy Jonathon Rackard of Washington County Florida is today’s dickhead cop of the week. And then we can go up the food chain to find the dickhead court of the week who in appeals, sided with the cop.

Read below or at Mr Turley’s site and view the video there. We are truly a Police State.

Eleventh Circuit Rules that Video of Officer Repeatedly Tasering a Sobbing Man Sitting By the Road is Not a Constitutional Violation

A man is appealing a recent loss before the United States Court of Appeals in a very disturbing decision. In the video below, Deputy Jonathan Rackard of the Washington County Florida repeated uses of a taser on Jesse Buckley who is merely sitting and crying next to a road. The Eleventh Circuit voted 2-1 that the Eighth Amendment was not violated in the case, reversing a decision from the trial court.

The video in Buckley v. Haddock was taken from a dashcam on March 17, 2004. It shows a sobbing man who simply fails to comply with orders to stand up and get into a cruiser. He does not threaten or wrestle with the officer. Yet, he is repeatedly tasered as a type of punishment for failing to comply. Yet, two judges on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals (J. L. Edmondson and Joel F. Dubina) voted to reverse the decision of the trial court that the video offered presumptive proof of a constitutional violation. The video was recently posted on YouTube.

The the district court rejected a summary judgment motion . Judge Smoak on March 6, 2007 ruled that:

While “the right to make an arrest … necessarily carries with it the right to use
some degree of physical coercion or threat thereof to effect it,” under the facts of this
case, no reasonable officer could believe that using such extreme force was lawful. Id.
at 1200. As the Eleventh Circuit stated, “once an arrest has been fully secured and any
potential danger or risk of flight vitiated, a police officer cannot employ…severe and
unnecessary force.” Id. In a situation very similar to that in Lee, Rackard’s actions were
“so plainly unnecessary and disproportionate, no reasonable officer could have had a
mistaken understanding as to whether [the] particular amount of force [was] legal in the
circumstances.” Id. (Internal quotations and citation omitted). Rackard is not entitled to
qualified immunity.

The appellate panel ruled:

In the light of the undisputed facts established in the record, we conclude that Defendant’s use of force in this particular situation was not outside the range of reasonable conduct under the Fourth Amendment. Of particular importance are three facts. First, the incident occurred at night on the side of a highway with considerable passing traffic. Second, the deputy could not complete the arrest — that is, truly control Plaintiff — because Plaintiff was resisting. Third, the deputy resorted to using the taser only after trying to persuade Plaintiff to cease resisting, after attempting to lift Plaintiff, and after repeatedly and plainly warning Plaintiff that a taser would be used and then giving Plaintiff some time to comply.

Notably, Judge Dubina concurred despite his finding that the third taser application did violate the Constitution, but he agreed “with Chief JudgeEdmondson that such violation was not clearly established. Accordingly, I agree that we should reverse the district court’s denial of summary judgment based on qualified immunity.”

Judge Martin dissented on the grounds that

“the Fourth Amendment forbids an officer from discharging repeatedbursts of electricity into an already handcuffed misdemeanant—who is sitting still beside a rural road and unwilling to move—simply to goad him into standing up. I also conclude that at the time of the incident, Deputy Rackard was on fair notice that his conduct was unconstitutional. Not only did Deputy Rackard unnecessarily discharge his taser gun against Mr. Buckley three times, but each time he did so,he repeatedly prodded Mr. Buckley’s body with the stun gun’s live electrodes—inflicting additional pain and leaving Mr. Buckley with sixteen burn scars.”

Barack “W” Obama: No Single Payer, Universal Healthcare in His Plans

Posted by BuelahMan on March 3, 2009

obama_walking_on_water

So you Progressive rednecks (all three of you) think that Obama will usher in a new progressive agenda for Universal healthcare? You fools. He is a lying, misleading hypocrite and it is high time you realized this and shout it out at the top of your lungs.

He has no intention. He is going to protect Congress’s coffers by disallowing single-payer healthcare advocates even attend his “Obama Health Summit”. Now think of that. Every poll I can find suggests that the vast majority of Americans want it, yet the advocates aren’t even invited to express the desire.

Do you think that your Savior, Mr Obama really has the healthcare of his fellow Americans in mind if he won’t even allow the advocates of the majority’s desires to attend the summit? WTF is wrong with all you ass-sucking “Progressives” who aren’t even slightly progressive in reality?

From UnderNews:

DESPITE HEAVY SUPPORT IN POLLS, SINGLE PAYER ADVOCATES BARRED FROM OBAMA HEALTH SUMMIT

On Thursday, the White House will host a summit on how to reform the healthcare system. The 120 invited guests include lobbyists for various interest groups including the private-for-profit insurance industry, some members of Congress including Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus who has already ruled single payer “off the table,” and various others concerned with healthcare. No single payer advocates have been invited to attend.
