A Redneck’s Guide To Reversing The Corptocracy Brainwashing

Put Down The Shit Spoon, Ron Paul

You are way too full of it when it comes to health care:

Ron Paul is full of shit on this particular subject. Sure, anyone can go to the ER, but what about those who cannot afford to go to their general practitioner for that ache in their side. Put it off until that ache makes them go to the ER in writhing pain, only to find out that it is colon cancer (that COULD have been taken care of had the person been insured or more wealthy). Oops, now you’re dead.

Paul, again, is allowing his “free market” ideology trump his Hippocratic oath or is really uninformed or stupid regarding the truth of why and how so many people lose their lives due to the lack of health insurance/health care. For those two are intertwined. To say that people don’t die because they cannot afford health insurance is a pitiful moral failure on Paul’s part.

His point about Corporatism versus Capitalism is valid (to an extent). But it will not be the “free market” system that fixes what is a moral quandary. And hence lies the basis of his bogus rationale. It is all about competitive “services” rendered with this immoral mindset, not about ensuring that everyone is well and healthy and doesn’t have to worry about dying or losing everything they own if they get sick). In my opinion, one must be able to balance their conservative, free marketism and a moral, social attitude to embrace and help care for the lesser of Thee. His first example, at the 2:20 mark, is skewered right off the bat (regarding the person who went to Singapore to get the $100K surgery for $25K). Where I am from, most people don’t make $25K/year, much less $100K.

He went on to say just seconds later “all the mischiefs of government”, as if the Corporatism doesn’t involve corporations, but just the government officials. Is the point to privatize and “free market”-ize everything (just like the way our security is handled in Iraq and Afghanistan)? As if this doesn’t create even MORE abuse for profit. How about admitting that health insurance companies provide ZERO added value. What the hell does protecting those that say of themselves to be “free marketeers”, whom provide no benefit or value, yet suck off a cool 25-30% off the top.

Is being anti-government the answer? Or could there be a moral imperative that creates a system where anyone and everyone is covered via taxes after cutting off the value deducting parasite called health insurance. Maybe then, we can have a system that mimics all the other industrialized “progressive” countries in the world that have longer, healthier lives at a fraction of the cost we do. OR, we can take the route that Paul wants to take which is exactly what got us where we are today (it morphed and grew into what we have now from the original “free market” foolology Paul is discussing).

You see, what Paul would prefer is that we turn back the hands of time for all medical security (like Medicare and Medicaid). Not improve what the lackeys he leads with have torn asunder. He would rather blame “government” (which he is a key part of). Funny how he starts with Corptocracy and ends up with how government is bad. Look in the mirror old man to see why. Then grab any number of your fellow thieves and sing us a song about how it will be you (members of the government) who will fix this moral imperative by making the poorest of the poor pay what cannot be afforded to begin with.

With so many good points to his credit, it is this lack of moral understanding and dedication that makes me believe he is NOT POTUS material. He could be in some cabinet level post (maybe even Sec of State), but POTUS, he is not.

This reminds me of someone close to me that told me they didn’t agree with my views on healthcare, yet he has been in the hospital countless times with no insurance or money and simply just “writes it off”. There is a disconnect that these people don’t seem to be able to reconnect.

  1. In a rush so I will give my opinion on this soon. For now…. Remember we talked about guaranteed school loans driving up the cost of tuition?

      Jay,

I am not sure why you would post a video by Schiff regarding the subject of college tuition, when my entire post was about health care and the moral obligation humans have for each other (especially if one claims to be a “Christian”).

To me, when one deals with health, schooling is a non-starter. These two things are not in the same boat or ocean, for that matter.

You are not one to build straw men, so I am interested in seeing how this equivocates to health care.

      • I left this because one time we were talking about how the governments loans are the reason we both got in college and how it drives up tuitions.

On healthcare, I do think a government must have social policies and free markets. Things like healthcare should be approached from a moral view not a market view. So i agree with you.

          Hey Jay,

Thanks for the clarification. Tis true about education and I agree with the video you sent, at least as much of it as I can substantiate. Schiff makes sense anyway.

But, as you mention and I was misunderstanding from your initial post, medical care transcends education (in my thinking). However, there is a case to be made for “socialized education” as well. Several countries have both (medical and education) and yes, their taxes are high, but every person gets the same chance at excelling.

In our system, it is 85% about money and the rest about education (at least from a higher education perspective).

We´re all in accord on this. The Administration fucked this up by doing what Stockman warned against when he quit the Reagan Admin, wrote his book. What the unprinciped fascists do is bust the budget so “HR 676 SOCIALIZED MEDICINE” can´t be afforded!

Compare to fiscal and monetary “conervative” Chavez. His surplus is enormous even with the generous single-payer.

Speaking of Chavez — IT´S ON! BlackwaterXe and the Colombian army began its invasion of Venezuela which means that the US is now at war with Venezuela, which means 3 live shooting wars and Magda´s kids coming from Bogota to live withuus, but if the US is using Colombia to invade Venezuela,Panama will be a piece of cake. We may have to get out sooner than their school quarter and go I DON´T KNOW WHERE?

I promised Cindy I´d have a compreshensive list of asylum covenants for the whole world in a coupled. It´s freaky. Also, the US has put together a Paraguayan death squad whose intentiion is to over-throw the social-democrat Fernando Lugo and maybe keep it or return Ovelar-Duarte to power.

Which leads me to this: I finally quit THE PITCHFORK for good. They are an Obamablog not a peace blog and again althugh she hinted at favoring Obama´s wars she went off the deepend and challenged me to a FIGHT! I said “I don´t hit women and besides I´m bigger than you are by a lot even though I´m 5 7″ 150. And forget a brawl. I have brawling experience. You´d get maimed.”

With Cav taking care of his kids the blog has lost all it´s variety. The entire thing aside from me , Fred and the General is this boring shit of listing how many White Southerners commit crimes ilike they are emancipators. They cannot get it in their heads that people are INDIVIDUALS and people form their friendships by common interests not because ofa racial checklist. Too stupid for words and heaven forbid I write about real racial issues like the fucking INJUSTICE SYSTEM AND NCARCERATING CHILDREN AS YUUNG AS 13 IN ADULT PRISONS FOR ADULT TIME MOST FOR SIMPLE POSSESIION.

They can´t deal with that because their hero Obama supports those cruel policies.

I like it here and on FB. Cindy´s speaking at B.A.R.´s Black Is Back a total critique of Obama´s war policy. Swanson´s doing something to as is Raimundo´s ANTIWAR.COM.

I like her style. She encourages everybody to argue on her threads so people open their minds, have a sharper idea of their real beliefs. Exactly the way you two and Torrance got me to finally see the mountain of evidence staring me in the face, when I´m in EXILE!

Someone at the Pitchfork challenged you to a fight? A woman, no less? Was this a person at the Fork or that ass bag that gets in your craw? Kinda like my no-slappz? Even tho I wouldn’t hit her unless she was attacking me… sorta my rule with women. But, if one thinks she has the balls to punch me, she has the balls to take one.

Kelso, I teeter on just giving up with this whole deal. It doesn’t appear that I make any strides. As much as I like all you folks that read regularly, I don’t seem to be reaching my intended readership. As Tengrain points out, it could very well be the style I chose (which isn’t exactly like the real me). We are extremely tough on people (which is what I thought was needed).

But quitting isn’t my best gig and I wonder should we shift things a smite here. Should we become more focused? Change the look? Actually pursue the avenues to garner more readers (some things that my friend Roschelle at Inconsequential logic has shared with me)?

Is there even enough folks that are interested in what a fat old white redneck, a skinny little white ex hippie and skinny little brown Panamanian (or wherever you end up)… you know what I mean. Should we get more involved with Cindy and those that are likeminded?

I started the other blog as a test (Stopping The US Empire). I wondered about cleaning up the language to keep out the fucks and the worst of my blabber.

          Any thoughts?

I find both Ron Paul and Michael Moore to be two sides of a similar coin. I don´t like that he´s taken his time with this shit which is not a oore issue for him, but rather another in series of random states´rights issues he could phone in. His finest piece of legislation is being torn to bits by Barney Frank and he´s jerking off with this. I actually DO prefer a market system from Paul with the Kucinich carve-out to Obama care. All of them fail when put up against C/K´s HR 676.

Moore is a typical rich super rich (I´m very succesful and I´d need 5 lifetimes to have what he has!) liberal who´s just an un-witting follower of Obama. Two celebs doing the big lick. I don´t consider him a great HR676 FAN.

    • BuelahMan said

This is not Ron Paul’s issue and he should keep quiet about it. For it makes him seem bogus as a doctor and he loses credibility in my eyes.

Moore showed his true colors this past election when he dogged Nader and went for the Big Ticket. He may be rich, but I have never paid to watch a single movie of his. Ever. Not that they are all bad, but that I can see him more as a Democratic weenie than a patriot that happens to hit a common American-hurting theme.

I think you should join up on Cindy´s friend and fan pages. Aside from her being a great activist, she´s very funny and pretty much the cream rises to the top so in her first tranche of PEACE MONGERS I´m one of them, but she cam´t receive money from me,I´m doing acmpreheive list of most countries asylum rules because at some point the governmet will try to seal you in.

It was Diane who started it by saying I didn´t know what PEACE even was and that I should´t expect the blog to be my echo chamber. And that my interest in peace only pertained to Latin America because of my own situation. She went on to say that her foreign policy and domestic policy views she was against (I´m for USA as Repubic) and I´m for peoples´budget and social sector. She agrees with Obama all the way.

She was the one who wanted to fight me! So then Pain put up this photo of a man being raped by a woman suggesting Diane got the best of me. I wrote that my father was a colector for the Russian Jewish mafia and when I was 9 he taught me some very evil shit about brawling, like blinding people and stuff. And Iexplained if anyone knew what peace was, it´s me because I wanted no part ofthat shit. And Iknewhow to defend myself with my fists.

Most of the guys on the staff agreed with me. Big dustup but I wanted to quit and write here and at cindy´s since Junewhen somene put up this heinous thing about Obama being the pefect man. oh, here´something I joked about with cindy: MY JOKE TO CINDY SHEEHAN:

I´m tempted to run against Obama for some ceremmonial thng b/c Kevin and Cindy are going for the real prize. I think I´m better lookng than him and we´re the same age. I haven´t met any G-8 leaders but I´ve met Kwasniewski, Martin Torrijos, Balbina Herrera, jerry Brown and BOB DORNAN!

I think you should put a link to the blog on your FB page…the other thing I like about Cindy is her sarasticsene of humor and that she encourages her friends to argie and find areas of looking at stuff in new ways, besides if folks cam´t handle that how can they face teargas?
