I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO MAKE OF IT ANYMORE .

So , here we are. Another day like many lately, yet unlike a few days ago. Temps are in the 50′s right now, clear blue sky…beautiful day out. I seen jets in the sky…normal CONTRAILs , the kind that dissipate as the jet moves forward. I seen a number of them acctually…..no CHEMTRAILS….the kind that just hang there and spread out over time turning the sky hazy or milky looking.

I don’t know what to make of it. Like many things these days.

Heres something I also don’t know what to make of. Maybe some of you computer wizards can explain. In your browser type the word “illuminati” backwards the put ‘ .com ‘ behind it and hit enter. For those of you who don’t already know about this….it should freak you out. It takes you directly to the NSA’s web site. Now why would it do that?

How about this. The national debt today is  15.216  TRILLION dollars . GDP is  15.112  TRILLION dollars. Humm…..we owe more than we make, yet our government is asking for another 1.2 TRILLION raise on the debt ceiling. Something Obama railed against when Bush was president. That would increase the debt to 16.39 TRILLION dollars. Weren’t they not long ago making ‘CUTS’?

From Sen. Obama’s Floor Speech, March 20, 2006:

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.

Yet here, this article, July 11,2011, shows Obama saying it would be irresponsible to NOT raise the debt ceiling. Like many of the clowns we see on the stage today…..lie, lie, lie til your elected ,then, lie, lie, lie some more once you are in. Is everyone stuck in a reality T.V. vision of the world?  I mean that’s what this election and our government does….put on a show. Most gobble it down with enthusiasm.

How bout this. I asked a few people yesterday how many nuclear weapons have been detonated on our planet. The answer was generally “A couple hundred”.  Now I’m guilty of not knowing there were 2053 between 1945 and 1998 until just the other day. I was shocked. I was even more shocked that they answered kind of like it was no big deal. I don’t get it.

Is America this dumb?  Why haven’t we seen more protesting….protests involving millions?  I just don’t know what to make of it anymore.

Things are so backwards and confusing.

UPDATE

I was informed that the web browser going to the NSA’s web site may be just some kind of redirect thing that can be done. I don’t really understand how that works. But there it is. Any of you computer wizards care to weight in on this and clarify this?

Crazy internet junkies lol. Anything to get people going.

  1. Here’s something I didn’t catch before.In Obamas’ 2006 speech he said:

“… Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. ”

Now if he knew that then , does he not know that now…or is he trying to weaken us?

    • Then, by raising the debit, is he not in violation of the NDAA?? and should be detained forever?? Actually, Im getting pretty sick of everyone saying the consitution is dead….any law that violates the consitution is null and void…PERIOD!! That makes the NDAA dead before it ever was….
We are the country not gov!! and we’re americans and only follow laws that are constutional….after all, what are laws for, but to be broken…cellphones while driving?? look around…everyones a crimial….not to mention the war on drugs…lots of laws there and the many that ignor them…Cant wait to see the looks on PTB’s faces when they try and push this illeagle law on the streets….and nobody shows up to enforce it!!

      • Yes we are the country , that, I feel, is what government forgets. Without us they are nothing. As far as ignoreing laws…I live my life as I see fit. They make laws 24/7/365. i could care less. I don’t have a professor and a team of lawyers to PROTECT me from governments laws.

The enemy must bow to the people.

  2. It doesn’t matter what you owe if you’re worth the debt.

If you (as a political decision maker) have quit believing that the U.S. is a reliable country, and that the dollar will cease to be the number one reliable currency, then you admit you are in fairly permanent trouble and therein lies a truly unAmerican (to not coin an original term) dilemma. So to speak. Or perhaps you’ve just played the other side and have decided to take your money and move out of the country for a couple of decades until its fit for your presence again. (Ha!)

However, if you think you can retrieve the country’s honor and/or debt worthiness, then a short-term debt increase (no matter how large (in an economy worth many trillions)) to get the economy producing again is the only way forward.

It seems to me that if you pay careful attention to the documentation of economists Paul Krugman, Dean Baker, Joe Stiglitz, and others of their political/economic beliefs you will see excellent reportage of what has happened in the past and what could and should happen in the future.

    Love ya,

    • It seems to me that this countries honor is worthless until the people get control over government. The corruption must stop. The lies must stop. The warmongering must stop. The theft of wealth must stop.

Without truth , there is no honor.

    • I must say that Krugman’s philosophy is simply adding to debt-bubbles. This has the appearance of success (at times)… or, at least the spin makes it seem that way. Eventually, however, the propping up of bubbles has the effect that we see now.

So, Stiglitz aside (he has been a very good opponent to endless wars and has pointed out how the Empire is making us broke), Krugman is simply continuing a failed policy that led us to this point (and both dems and Reps are both complicit).

I was forced into bankruptcy and never received a bailout. Nor has anyone else I know in my life.

Propping up the corporatism… refilling bubbles that burst with explosive, country-dissolving vigor, is hardly the answer.

Neither is Paulsterity. Especially at this time when more people are hurting in this country than ever before.

And, perhaps this means little to some, but being a member of the CFR (as I understand that Krugman and Stiglitz are, I believe) carries ZERO clout and causes me to question anything and everything about them. The CFR is not America’s friend. By any stretch of the imagination.

The fact that anti-war rhetoric is high in the USA doesn’t give Stiglitz much more clout, but it helps.
