My buddy from high school (and recent cat fishing bud), Korn Likker (aka Chicken Bill), is headed to Vanderbilt in Nashville to have the Esophageal cancer “scraped” off. He was told that it had not metastasized, so they would not have to cut out part of the esophagus and resection it. Basically a out-patient deal.
But please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. It was caught early enough that they should be able to mend him.
Maybe something like this could help:
UPDATE: The procedure is today (Feb 8), not yesterday. Thanks for any warm thoughts sent his way. He is truly one of the good dudes.

So really….why is it still illegal? We spend billions in this country to find a cure for cancer …yet here we are….still allowing our government tell us that we can’t use it , cant study it(unless with their blessing) , can’t even prove to the public that it is NOT the boogeyman drug that our so very ‘educated’ leaders tell everyone it is.
Other countries have studied it and found it to NOT be a problem for the general public. Its been studied and SHOWN to be valuable as a medicine….
We have in the VERY recent past ad studies done to show it doesn’t kill brain cells as we have been told. In fact may cause or aid the growth of new cells. It is not a CAUSE of lung and other cancers…in fact has been shown to KILL cancer. It is NOT a gateway drug as our zealot drug warriors would have you believe…nor does the gateway theory hold water.
Oh I know the big buisnesses that don’t want it legal….Pharma ,oil,alcohol,drug treatment centers, prison system….on and on. SCREW THEM ! AMERICA , are we going to let a bunch of bueracrates tell us we can’t have something that could very possibly save our friends and family from dying from cancer just cause the inhuman , uncaring people want to continue to making a buck from our obedience? Lets once and for all…prove or disprove whether cannabis can kill cancer. Letsa do it so we can save our loved ones or move on to the next thing that might help instead of wasting time and resources .
If Rick Simpson and those speaking testimony to the healing power of Hemp Oil are true…..then whats to fear? If they LIE whats to fear…we will have the answer one way or another.

They (he and his wife) called me from the road yesterday after the procedure. It went very well according to the surgeon. Korn Likker was driving, so it must not have been too intrusive. I should get the update today.
