Truly, there is nothing much to say here, is there?
Mr. Brown got more time than most drunk drivers who have killed and been detained a few times.
Or, conversely, so much to say that there is not enough space in the world to say it.
Think the judge figured this was how to detox the honest Mr. Brown?
Wonder what colour the judge was…..
This sort of inequity is as old as law courts are….
Heck, another work slave for the prison complex….
Posted by nooralhaqiqa | June 25, 2012, 11:35 amwonder what it cost to house Mr Brown for 15yrs???? I’ll bet a bunch more then $100….at least he’s not homeless anymore!! 3 hots and a cot…maybe he’s smarter then we think
Posted by ARF | June 25, 2012, 11:29 pmI’d rather spend the rest of my days on the streets than in prison.
Posted by BuelahMan | June 26, 2012, 5:57 amThe differential justice is even worse in our military, where one’s rank and family connections are of surpassing importance. Check out the story of the Air Force Academy cadet busted and imprisoned for behaving little different from the average American heterosexual male while a colonel gets a wrist slap for a litany of crimes at http://www.militarycorruption.com/academyscandal5.htm.
Posted by David Martin | June 26, 2012, 8:01 amI wonder if Cadet Stephan Claxton is black or other minority?
It is obvious that power, money and prestige has its criminal benefits. It is rampant in this country at every level.
Posted by BuelahMan | June 26, 2012, 8:06 amGood guess. He’s not white. http://blogs.westword.com/latestword/2012/06/stephan_claxton_air_force_sex_crimes_military_prison.php
Now let us wonder about the race of the “victim.” My guess is white, but she could be another Anita Hill.
Posted by David Martin | June 26, 2012, 10:38 amBingo! He’s black:

Posted by David Martin | June 26, 2012, 10:49 amDave,
I checked my spam filter and your comments were thrown in there for some reason. I apologize (this system automatically spams some people… Noor gets it all the time).
Posted by BuelahMan | June 26, 2012, 12:52 pmThanks, Dave. This answers my question:

Posted by BuelahMan | June 26, 2012, 12:19 pmWow, this is another doozy. How backwards is this place, huh? I’m ready to go live on a farm in South America, lol
