    1984 was not so much a novel as a game plan into the future Orwell, as member of the upper class, knew it to be planned. Much as with Huxley and his Brave New World.

    These words are terrifying however. I have been posting lately on WOMEN who are in favour of the removal of sex and pleasure from humanity and moving towards artificial reproduction. Straight out of these novels….

    The boot analogy is perfect but oh, so very dismal.

  2. I read “1984” a long time ago , who could see then” that” future would be at least in part fulfilled , even if late it is happening before our eyes . Watch out for the boot in the face !
