Should The Rednecks Go To New York City?

Posted by BuelahMan on October 3, 2011

Tall buildings and bright lights could be the next horizon for us rednecks… that is if we want to help make change in this country. I remember the farmers driving their tractors up there in unity many years ago. I remember the hippies. I remember several instances of protest that seemed to have made a difference. And maybe I just have been brainwashed into believing any of this actually makes a difference.

I don’t know, but I suspect that The Whole F**king Thing’s Coming Down:

Hedge funds, derivatives, tea pot dome
wall street gambling, using your home
congress isn’t gonna do a single fucking thing
because their campaign contributions all come attached with strings
The Democratic Party is a failing institution
what we need now is a real revolution

But the whole fucking thing is coming down
Yeah the whole fucking thing is coming down

The United States is a global empire
Corporations, well they’re fucking vampires
sucking wealth from the poor
committing wage theft
Hey, who will work for you when we’ve starved to death?

But the whole fucking thing is coming down
Yeah the whole fucking thing is coming down

I’ve got me full time J.O.B.
but that doesn’t mean I can afford to eat
I’ve got student loans, but no degree
so I’m gonna die working at this J.O.B.
No health insurance, we’re all temporary hires
so if we get sick we’ll just hurry up and die

But the whole fucking thing is coming down
Yeah the whole fucking thing is coming down

wages so low we can’t afford the rent
so we have to rely on the government
but the rich man doesn’t want to pay his taxes
so the social programs, they”re the first to get the axe
we don’t complain, we don’t bitch
the only thing we’ve got left to eat is the rich

But the whole fucking thing is coming down
Yeah the whole fucking thing is coming down

I personally think that the Rubicon has been crossed and there is no turning back. This isn’t a series of mistakes or “kicking the problem down the road”. This is plain, unadulterated, theft. They are going for broke (and breaking the country IS the goal). No one can make this many “mistakes”, so I cannot logically determine anything except purpose in their actions. They WANT the crash and they want to extract as much wealth from the system as it comes down, so they will be prepared for what comes next… some New world Order.

This was discussed in 1983 by Larry McDonald on Crossfire (the first 1:37 minutes is commentary from a Ron Paul supporter, and then McDonald is defending the John Birch Society for a bit, but at 4:44, it gets good). I don’t believe for a second this is happenstance (and I think you must agree that he was on to something simply from how obviously uncomfortable Tom Braden gets at the 6:00 mark):

No. This is planned. Plain and simple.

No matter what you think of the John Birch Society, Crossfire (and those two nuts that were on it), or Larry McDonald, he definetely called it like it is so many years later, didn’t he?Mostly, the MSM is giving this Wall Street protests as “left-wing” loons. And, as much as I think Lawrence O’Donnell is nothing more than an MSM clown I must give him credit for calling out the cops for their abuse and naming names. ‘Bout time.

And on the subject of cops, why is it that many of these football failures (couldn’t make the grade, so they juice up and use their brawn without brains to carry out the Elite’s dictates of oppression) think that they are or will be part of the 1% that controls the whole kit and caboodle? Don’t these people realize that these rich bastards don’t give a rat’s ass about them? Don’t they understand that they are on the wrong side of this?

Still don’t believe it is crumbling around us? Read what Maxine Croxall of the BBC asked Allesio Rastani and the comment she received:

Alessio Rastani:: …it’s gonna crash and it’s gonna fall pretty hard. Because markets are ruled right now by fear. Investors and the big money, the smart money …I’m talking about the big funds, the hedge funds, the institutions, they don’t buy this rescue plan. They basically know that the market is toast. They know that the stock market is finished, the Euro as far as they’re concerned they don’t really care, they’re moving their money away to safer assets like Treasury bonds, 30 year bonds, and the US dollar. So it’s not gonna work.

Maxine Croxall:: We keep hearing that whatever the politicians are suggesting — it’s all been rather wooly — isn’t right. Can you pin down exactly what would keep investors happy, make them feel more confident?

Alessio Rastani:: Ah, that’s a tough one. Personally, it doesn’t matter. I’m a trader, I don’t really care about that kind of stuff. If I see an opportunity to make money, I go with that. So for most traders we don’t really care that much how they’re going to fix the economy, how they’re going to fix the whole situation. Our job is to make money from it and personally I’ve been dreaming of this moment for three years. Personally, I have a confession to make, I go to bed every night and I dream of another recession. I dream of another moment like this. Why? Because people don’t seem to maybe remember, but the ’30′s depression, the Depression of the ’30′s wasn’t just about a market crash. There were some people who were prepared to make money from that crash and I think anybody can do that. It isn’t just for some people in the elite, anybody can actually make money, it’s an opportunity. When the market crashes, when the Euro and the big stock markets crash, if you know what to do, if you have the right plan to set up you can make a lot of money from this. For example, hedging strategies is one, then investing in bonds, Treasury bonds that sort of stuff.

Maxine Croxall:: If you could see the people around me, jaws have collectively dropped at what you’ve just said. I mean we appreciate your candor, but it doesn’t help the rest of us does it, or the rest of the Eurozone.

Alessio Rastani:: I will say this, listen. I would say this to everybody who’s watching this, this economic crisis is like a cancer. If you just wait and wait thinking this is going to go away, just like a cancer it’s gonna grow and it will be too late. What I would say to everybody is get prepared. This is not a time right now to wishful think that the Government is going to sort things out. The Governments don’t rule the world, Goldman Sachs rules the world. Goldman Sachs does not care about this rescue package neither does the big funds. So actually, I would actually tell people, I want to help people. People can make money from this, it isn’t just traders. What they need to do is learn about how to make money from a downward market. The first thing people should do is protect their assets, protect what they have because in less than 12 months, my prediction is that savings of millions of people is gonna vanish and this is just the beginning. So I would say, be prepared and act now. The biggest risk people can take right now is not acting.

Maxine Croxall:: Alessio Rastani thank you very much for talking with us.

You can watch the interview (if you haven’t already seen it) here. (h/t NaturalNews)

But rednecks in New York City? Maybe we could start out locally, since there are protests springing up all around the US (even Memphis and Nashville). I can barely afford the gas, but I’m game. How ’bout you?

B’Man Has Amped His Status

Posted by BuelahMan on March 12, 2011

I have been following David Degraw’s work for quite some time. He has been featured all over the internet and has his own blog. Recently, he started a new social networking site (AmpedStatus Network) and I joined very early on. I haven’t been as active as I probably should be, but there were a number of problems with the early ISP (hacks to the site) and I have participated more on Facebook, where I am friends with many of my hometown folks (people I actually know in person).

The problem with many of my hometown friends is that the majority don’t understand, much less agree with the information I present. Many are still TV junkies and it appears they believe almost everything that idiot box tells them to believe. At first, my participation on FB was some of my funny stuff and to say hello to many folks that I don’t normally get the chance to keep up with. But over the past 6 months or so I have become pretty vocal, like my online persona, BuelahMan.

Of course I want to inform and/or help my homies, but if they aren’t interested, then so be it. One of my dearest friends from high school has called me “Chicken Little” and many more have blocked my feeds or even “de-friended” me. All I can say is that I tried. Now I will leave them to their own devices and focus on those that are somewhat like-minded in a way that sees or senses the oncoming onslaught.

Also, Facebook is constantly making ways to give away or sell your personal information. Most noticeable, Goldman Sachs has made offers to get involved and since I know them to be criminal, thieves and totally unscrupulous, I will likely discontinue any major participation there and simply use it as an emergency means of contacting certain people whom I care about. But, why should I bother casting my pearls before swine?

Which brings me back to David’s new Social Networking site (and I hope you consider joining). He just announced that there is a new host that has helped improve the security and has given him aid in a variety of ways. They remain anonymous (which is a bit frightening), but at the same time, assuring in a way because they have stopped the hacks. Max suggests it is Anonymous (I don’t know for sure, but have liked what they do).

Max Keiser interviewed him and posted it today on his blog:

There will come a time when a revolution will be necessary. There are hard ways and soft ways to revolt. Of course I believe in the soft ways (establishing your “network” or “community”, boycotting Big Money, becoming self-sufficient, and simply refusing to participate in the Corptocracy any longer). The hard ways should be a very last resort, but it should never be “taken off the table” (to use Obama’s words).

There are several of you that read here that I hope join and I will be sending invites. You may or may not agree with ALL of the following, but please read and determine if this might be a match for you. If you do join, tell them B’Man sent you and contact me when you get on, so we can “friend” each other.

About The Network

* People participating in this social network agree to at least one aspect of the common-ground platform mentioned below.

It’s time to mobilize and aggressively move
on common sense political reforms.

We’ve had enough of…

  • The Two-Party Oligarchy
  • Big Government
  • Big Corporate Power
  • The Concentration of Power

It’s time to…

  • Decentralize
  • Create New Political Parties
  • Restore the Rule of Law

The economic top one-tenth of one percent of the global population has launched an economic war on us. They are hoarding $39 Trillion in investible wealth, not counting the vast sums they have hidden in offshore accounts. In the United States, we now have the highest and most severe inequality of wealth in our nation’s history. While there is a record number of American citizens currently living paycheck to paycheck, in debt, unemployed, underemployed, without healthcare, on food stamps and in poverty, as our society is breaking down, global bankers have taken our tax dollars and given themselves all-time record-breaking bonuses. The same people who destroyed our economy have been rewarded with trillions of dollars in national wealth. It is now evident that both political parties and all three branches of government, along with the mainstream corporate media, have been bought off by a global economic elite.

As a broad-based network representing people across the political spectrum, we are working together to reach common ground and fight for pivotal political reforms. As long as the economy and government are rigged in favor of the top economic 0.1%, we will all lose.

Here’s a general outline of our common ground platform:

  • Enforce RICO Laws
  • Break Up the Big Banks
  • End the Fed
  • Break Up the Mainstream Media
  • Shut the Revolving Door
  • End Closed Door Lobbying
  • Increase Government Transparency
  • End Corporate Personhood
  • Amend Campaign Finance
  • Verify All Votes
  • Investigate War Profiteers
  • Investigate War Crimes
  • End the Wars
  • Reopen the 9/11 Investigation
  • Restore Civil Liberties
  • Uphold the Constitution
  • Clean Air, Water & Food
  • Reduce Healthcare Costs, Profiteering
  • Make Healthcare a Human Right
  • Improve Education For All, Reduce Costs
  • Reform Prison System
  • Reform Drug Laws
  • Immigration Reform
  • Rebuild Infrastructure
  • Protect Internet Freedom
  • Empower States’ Rights
  • End Corporate Welfare
  • Raise Taxes on Richest 0.1%
  • Reduce Taxes for 99%

These are the core common ground issues that we must urgently rally around and support. Unless we organize and take decisive action, we will all suffer the consequences of our collective inaction. Any politician who does not urgently move on these issues must be voted out of office and replaced by people who will aggressively fight on these fronts.

If you agree with any of the goals mentioned above and would like to be part of this movement, please join our new social network here.

If you like what you see here at The Revolt, please subscribe via Email subscription or by the RSS Feed button found on the upper right hand corner of this page and/or hit the Share Button at the bottom of the post to share via various means.

Midterm Election Further Demonstrates Need for Revolution: David Degraw at Amped Status

Midterm Election Further Demonstrates Need for Revolution

By David DeGraw, AmpedStatus

The Obama referendum came in and he got what he deserved. When you run on change and leave the same criminals in positions of power and don’t hold anyone accountable for obvious crimes, and allow them to continue to commit those crimes, you deserve to lose your power. This is what happens when you put Tim Geithner and Larry Summers in charge of the economy, and support Ben Bernanke for reconfirmation as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. This is what happens when you keep Robert Gates as your Secretary of Defense and General Petraeus in charge of your wars. This is what happens when you lie to protect the interests of BP over the American people. This is what happens when you bailout Wall Street and the health care industry and sell out everyone else. This is what happens when your rhetoric is the opposite of your actions. The past two years have clearly exposed Obama as a spineless corporate puppet and he deserves to be voted out in 2012.

Now, don’t get me wrong, most of the people who were just voted into office are just as bad, if not worse, as hard as that is to believe. This election marks the third straight time that the American public dramatically voted out the people who were in power. The fact of the matter is that these people are not voting for politicians that they like as much as they are voting against politicians they hate. Hopefully by 2012 the American public will finally understand that they must support Independent candidates and alternative political structures, and cannot vote for Democrats or Republicans, if they ever want to achieve the needed change. Both parties serve the same corporate masters. Yes, there are some differences between the two. The Democrats serve half of the top economic one percent, and the Republicans serve the other half. We have Neo-liberals to the left and Neo-cons to the right, leaving 99% of us without representation.

And the saddest part of all, the system is now so rigged via campaign finance, lobbying and the revolving door that it is almost impossible for people who represent us to even get into office, let alone stay in office and enact policies that will bring change. Two politicians in Congress who actually fought for us against the Economic Elite just lost their reelection bids. Alan Grayson and Russ Feingold lost because record amounts of cash went to funding the candidates who ran against them. Even their own party’s leadership didn’t support their reelection efforts. The bottom line in this money rigged system is that you cannot run against the most powerful corporations and win. They will just pour unlimited funds into defeating you, and your own party will desert you.

The truth that many so called “Independent” news outlets will not tell you is that this government is now beyond repair. You won’t hear many calls for Revolution because even the more “Independent” news outlets are dependent on the two-party system. It is absurd that these outlets still play into the obsolete Republican versus Democrat dynamic. The only reason why they do it is because they are dependent on grants from foundations and political organizations that will not fund them unless they bow to Democrats and bash Republicans, or vice versa.

I can speak from personal experience. I’ve lost a vital grant to fund my work because I wasn’t willing to focus my attention on blaming Republicans for our problems. Our problems are a result of the two-party system. When you engage in bashing one party in favor of the other, you become a pivotal cog in the machine that is killing our country. I will not be part of the disease. The stakes are too high now. America is burning and both parties are pouring gasoline all over it.

Most Americans have only a vague understanding of the collapse that we have been set up for. If you think the past two years were bad, they were just a warm up to what is coming our way. After analyzing the policies in place and the current political environment, I can assure you that the next two years will be worse that the previous two. 52 million Americans have already been driven into poverty, 30 million are in need of work, millions of American families have been foreclosed upon and the inequality of wealth is the most severe it has ever been in the history of the United States. And this is just the beginning phase of the decline. Millions more will be added to these totals and the social safety-nets that have held our society together are breaking down. Cuts to vital social programs are going to be severe across the board.

Our paid-off government is not going to fix our problems, they are making them worse. Don’t you think it’s time for you to start representing yourself? Don’t you think it’s time for you to start defending your family’s interests?

These are questions that I’ve already asked myself and deeply considered. I made my decision and have dedicated myself to building a wide-ranging network of alliances across the political spectrum and have drafted a common ground platform that we are building off of. I’ve analyzed power politics very closely over the years. I know how the game is played and I know who our enemies are. I’m going to do everything I can to end the two-party oligopoly.

I’m not saying that you should follow me. I’m saying that it’s time for YOU to lead. It’s time for YOU to get involved. Build your own army. Once you start paying attention and put in some time to do the research, you will clearly see for yourself that both parties are working against your interests. You will also see how critical the situation is and realize that you can no longer be passive and expect to keep living a healthy and secure lifestyle. We are going to be tested in ways we have never been tested before. We cannot get away with being apolitical anymore. It’s time for us to pay attention, to become directly involved in the decision-making processes that guide our life. I know this is something that most people don’t enjoy and don’t want to do, but the consequences of our inaction will be much worse than anything we have ever experienced.

Yes, I sound extreme, but these are extreme times. I’m not going to sit quietly as our future is ripped out from under us. I will not let my family’s well being and our country’s fate be decided by short-sighted greed addicted forces that have looted the global economy and brought poverty, death and destruction throughout the world.

I see the path we are on and I intend to change it!

It is evident that the overwhelming majority of the population has become cynical and feels that it is useless to try to change things. If these people would just realize that they are the overwhelming majority and take action, we can change things. We have power in numbers. We are 99% of the population. If we organize on common ground and fight back, we will win!
