Ron Paul’s Version Of “Truth” Is Complete Nonsense

Posted by BuelahMan on January 13, 2012

The Sheople Misrepresent Ron Paul

People might think that I am just trying to get published or linked to at other sites that I normally respect, since I have spent the last several days attempting to share my thoughts about Ron Paul’s “Paulsterity” Plan To Restore America. In each and every instance, I share my detail with blogs I frequent and in only one example has anyone actually published my comment and none have followed up per my requests to “check my math”.

I’ll be damned if these very same normally cognizant authors and bloggers seem to have checked their thinking abilities at the door. In a couple of instances, I have seen posts, radio shows and podcasts since my communications with the very same “Paul Is The Savior” type mentality (just like the Obama Maniacs who kept telling us he was the Savior). Not a single example of someone actually checking the math, much less any opinion regarding my claims.

Whatever.

I am little more than a dumb ole redneck. But this dumb ole redneck still appreciates truth and for some reason (as opposed to all these Big Blog owners who refuse to simply check my math and offer an honest opinion) I have shown unequivocably that the rhetoric does not match the print version.

Let me show you just one more example of how you sycophantic and NEEDY people make claims about Paul in the face of his own determined attempts to separate himself from you and your “truth”.

Listen here as he corrects Jake Tapper when it comes to 911 and any idea that an inside job was carried out.

“Now, wait, wait, wait! Don’t go any further on that. That’s complete nonsense!”, said Paul.

“It’s nonsense? It’s not true?” Tapper asked.

“No, I never bought into that stuff, never talked about it. About the conspiracy of Bush — of Bush knowing about this?” Paul responded incredulously. “No, no, come on! Come on! Let’s be reasonable! That’s just off-the-wall!”

Will Alex Jones and company shit a brick? Nope. They will just apologize for him and suggest that he must play this game to get elected and THEN he’ll pursue the truth. How about those at Boing Boing, whom seem to criticize this election process, yet find a way to give Paul props in various ways. Corbett Report???? IntelHub???? Activist Post??? Drug War Rant???? And the plethora of smaller blogs I have shared this with, where are YOU?

When I point out how Paulsterity will ravage poor Americans all I hear is crickets chirping from them all.

I have shared this with MANY sites and NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS RUN WITH IT.

Who’s the sheople? Really?

A PaulTard = A Bushie = A ObamaBot = Sheople

Happy Corporation Day: Rejoice, Labor Is Dead!

Posted by BuelahMan on September 5, 2011

“Labor Day” should be renamed “Corporation Day” or “War Day”

(Beware: the above link takes you to a Dr Paul Roberts article at Infowars)

There is a group of “persons” who have been able to gain control over every branch of our government. In an orchestrated and vicious take-over, Corporations have been able to buy the servants, making it possible to strip away Labor’s collective advantage of control. Corporations (persons) have rights that you and all us rednecks have. I contend that they have more rights than regular human beings, as a matter of fact.

This melding of Corporations and our government puppets is Fascism 101 and certainly isn’t good for normal, everyday rednecks like me. It always leads to poverty for the common man and eventually slavery and death. Yes, Labor is Dead and should be mourned as such.

So, as we celebrate this day with picnics, parades, and frivolous activities, I ask you to take a moment to mourn the loss of Labor Day and it’s true meaning and to say a silent prayer for the unemployed whose loss of dignity may take decades to recover.

I have worked for decades without stop. Until this year, I have never drawn unemployment compensation and will be losing whats left of those benefits soon. I will need to re-invent myself, yet again, for the 5th time (having experienced industry job losses in various sectors now in Asian and Mexico). This is getting old and anyone actually paying attention knows that it will only get worse.

In contrast, there are those who thought that 2011 was going to be a good year (I made this screenshot of a friend’s FB post on New Year’s Day):

Wonder how my friend feels today? Did great things occur for him? Does he believe that those of us struggling are simply upset because things aren’t “perfect”? Does he believe that simply by “believing” good things will happen?

Well, maybe for corporations.

Corporate profits are up 22%. I assume, then, that YOUR “profits” are up, as well, correct? I know that my “profits” are soaring right into oblivion.

Happy Death of American Labor & The Middle Class Day

Even if you do still have a job, are you experiencing the Great SpeedUp? Are they pushing you harder and harder but offering less and less compensation for that work?

Worse, yet, are you one of those (like a lady I spoke with this past week), who insisted that she was sick and tired of those people using unemployment and the system when they should be working. Or the very old lady who insisted those living in the duplexs and low-income housing are not trying and especially since they are black (which, the majority is NOT black) they are just lazy (yes, she said it).

People are brainwashed. People are racist. People regurgitate the garbage they hear on TV and believe it to be the truth.

But we better wake up and realize that these TV goons, the government criminals, and the complicit Sheople who fall for every smooth talking politician/TV anchor are lying to us. They have been lying to us all along. As Dr Roberts points out in that first link (sorry, its InfoWars) they lie about unemployment numbers and when forced to correct it at the end of the year, there is no mainstream coverage.

It is a Death-ocracy (I especially enjoyed his explanation of how it is truly falling apart and you should try to prepare as you can):

America’s Police State Expands: Truly, Criminals With Badges Reign

Posted by BuelahMan on May 20, 2011

If you are still unconvinced that we are living in a 1984-style Police State, I need to point out a few things. It is evident by what cops attempt to do (and get away with in many cases) that we live in a society where armed maniacs can conduct themselves in a manner befitting the worst criminals and thugs. It is happening all over and now I see this recent addition to the Police Crime Syndicate in Dickson County, Tennessee:

POLICE STATE: Tennessee Law Enforcement Stealing Money from innocent motorists

If that doesn’t make your blood boil, then you are either one of these corrupt cops trying to justify the criminality or a fool.

It doesn’t stop with simple shake-downs and thievery, either. It doesn’t stop at a local sheriff’s department (and I guarantee you that these are NOT the only criminals with badges doing the very same thing in this country). There is a total disregard for liberties by the very ones who are paid to protect our liberties. And don’t miss that their reasoning is, again (sigh) the War on Drugs. Worse, it goes all the way to the top of the Justice System. For now it is just fine for cops to enter your home without a warrant, if they hear your toilet flush.

None of this is reactive to real threats, but are purposefully orchestrated to create the perceived NEED by us gullible Sheople. As Jack D. Douglas shares at LewRockwell.com:

While they have grown mostly by the big steps “absolutely needed to save the people from grave threats,” they have also used many other deceitful processes and devices. ranging from the use of secret police acts of tyranny, such as massive intimidation of officials and bribery of all kinds. and keeping the ancient forms of freedom but secretly refilling them with tyrannical powers of the Party or Leader, to building the totalitarian powers very slowly in baby steps that come on cat’s paws, very quietly and gently in ways the people

rarely notice and when they do accept as “small inconveniences but nothing serious.”

Yes, we need to give these criminals every free opportunity to use lies and lame excuses to gain entry into your home, as to avoid “grave threats”, when, in fact, the worst threat to law-abiding citizens are the very actions of these criminals. In Kentucky (and soon to be seen in your home state), it is just hunky dory that police can simply claim that they knocked “loud”, claim that they hear what they perceive to be people hiding drugs and can bust in your home without a search warrant. And as a very sad commentary of how idiotic and tainted our current Supreme Court is, they have given an 8-1 thumbs up for such a practice.

The Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments t...

Image via Wikipedia (Goodbye)

This entire case began when an “informer” claimed he bought drugs from a person on the street and then that person went into an apartment building. The cops went in, but didn’t know

which apartment it was, but allegedly smelled marijuana from one of the apartments and knocked hard at the door ASSUMING that this was the same person accused of dealing drugs and then commenced to break down the door. The problem was that this was a different person than the informant accused and so, they found another person smoking weed in his own home and arrested him.

In a sane decision from the Kentucky State Supreme Court, the conviction was over-turned because the cops had violated

his 4th Amendment right against “unreasonable searches and seizures.” The Kentucky Supremes said that it was the cops that created the emergency by beating on the door.

Enter the US Supreme Court to strip away such a right, when the state folks KNEW precisely what had been done was wrong. Ginsberg, being the sole dissenter in the case, said that this, “arms the police with a way routinely to dishonor the 4th Amendment’s warrant requirement in drug cases.” And since they did not have a genuine emergency, they should have never entered that apartment. 1 out of 8 of our US Supreme Court believes in the Fourth Amendment. I hope you feel safe.

What if I told you that it is even far worse than that? What if you knew that cops in New Mexico (and everywhere else in America) can enter into your home without a warrant, without you there, search thru your stuff and NEVER tell you that it happened? That’s right. They call it a “sneak and peek” warrant. Just read the above Target 7 News article and watch the video to get a taste of what may be happening to YOU, an innocent citizen believing that you actually have a Fourth Amendment Right.

The truth is that this right secured by our Fore Fathers is defunct and guess what? It was done in the disguise of terrorism and that rights-stripping law called the Patriot Act. The number of “sneak and peeks” have grown from 700 in 2007 to 2,000 in 2009 (the latest numbers are not yet available and even if they gave a number, how do we know if it is precise). But since you are a Terror-fearful citizen, I am sure you support such a thing because “surely” they would ONLY use this to get the terrorists, right?

WRONG!

The vast majority are drug-related and have NOTHING to do with terrorism. Peter Simonson, with ACLU New Mexico, said in the above Target 7 article and video:

While billed as an anti-terror tool, (a sneak-and-peek warrant) had no requirements on it that it precluded it from being used in standard criminal investigations

You see how that works, right? Pass a bill using lies and then use the rights-stripping purpose to do whatever they feel like they want to do. And the entire time, you just go along and think that they are doing their best job. And, yes, there are some good cops left, but their silence along these lines in protecting the rank ones speaks just as loudly as if they participated themselves. The few good ones can’t comprehend that at some point, their liberties will be affected.

And don’t think that some of these criminals won’t take advantage of such a ruling as we discussed in Indiana. One such Lead Criminal now says he will begin conducting random house-to-house searches. By God, if that isn’t Nazi Germany-like, I can’t think of an example that would be.And if the Hoosiers don’t recall or put that stupid ass out on his ear, you are fools.

Let me share with you some sage advice from B’Waves:

10 RULES WHEN DEALING WITH THE POLICE

1. Always be calm and cool.

2. You have the right to remain silent.

3. You have the right to refuse searches.

4. Don’t get tricked into waiving your rights.

5. Determine if you’re free to go.

6. Don’t do anything illegal.

7. Don’t run.

8. Never touch a cop.

9. Report misconduct: Be a good witness.

10. You don’t have to let them in.

At least “Bubba” has an idea. This stalwart progenitor of truth wants to form a “Ministry of Truth” to make sure that people like me aren’t able to inform you og what is really going on. I mean, can you seriously believe anything that lying liar has to say?

Heh: Yeah, right…

Is 2011 The Year For A “Nuclear Winter”? It Is At B’Man’s Revolt

Posted by BuelahMan on May 19, 2011

Fukushima, Brown’s Ferry, the gulf coast Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant, not to mention every airport in America, all have been showing what could happen. How bad will it get? I guarantee you that it will be worse than what they tell us. Unless you go to some non-MSM source:

From Infowars:

The Japanese newspaper Asahi reports today that data reveals meltdowns occurred at the No. 2 and No. 3 reactors. Goshi Hosono, special adviser to Prime Minister Naoto Kan, acknowledged the likelihood of meltdowns. “We have to assume that meltdowns have taken place,” Hosono said at a news conference May 16.

Infowars.com and other alternative news sources reported the probability of a nuclear meltdown at the plant, but this was virtually ignored by the corporate media.

As have I been telling everyone of my suspicion on this, even to the disdain and constant belittling from some perceived “friends” on the web.

I’ve even suggested that something has been used to purposefully cause this disaster and it appears that “some” sort of influence has, indeed, heated the atmosphere right before and up to the point of the earthquake. Could this have caused the event? You tell me.

Whatever, I am simply going to have a good time, get prepared, and be ready for the nuclear winter. I’ll let Dr Doug explain below (first shared here):

Broccoli, Oil or Saving Humanity?

Posted by BuelahMan on March 31, 2011

Broccoli

While President Obama didn’t touch on it in his speech tonight, the U.S. is really militarily involved in Libya to protect our strategic interests in broccoli.

Specifically, Gaddafi has been threatening to nationalize Libya’s broccoli resources for years, as Reuters and the Financial Times have previously documented.

(I like Washington Blog’s take on this)

But what is the truth?

Oil

The Coalition of Globalists are not interested in sheltering the Libyan people from Muammar al- Gaddafi. The no-fly zone and attacks on the Libyan military by NATO and U.S. have nothing to do with democracy and free elections.

It’s about oil – and who owns it.

In case you are unaware Libya has the largest oil and natural gas reserves in Africa

Saving Humanity

What a laugh: Bahrain, Yemen and Saudi Arabia prove that this is a damned lie, not to mention all the other places in the world that have tyrants killing them left and right, but have nothing of perceived value to the US hegemony.

Does it matter that the “resistance fighters” are Al Qaeda

“We are examining very closely the content, composition, the personalities, who are the leaders of these opposition forces,” Admiral James Stavridis, NATO’s supreme allied commander for Europe and also commander of U.S. European Command, said during testimony at the U.S. Senate.

Gaddafi’s troops on Tuesday reversed the westward charge of rebel forces as world powers met in London more than a week after the United States and other nations launched a military campaign aimed at protecting Libyan civilians.

While Stavridis said the opposition’s leadership appeared to be “responsible men and women” fighting Gaddafi, he said that “we have seen flickers in the intelligence of potential al Qaeda, Hezbollah. We’ve seen different things.”

“But at this point I don’t have detail sufficient to say there is a significant al Qaeda presence or any other terrorist presence,” he said.

Some claim that there are over 1,000 jihadists in the “resistance”.

But hell, they will cut a deal…

West willing to strike immunity deal with Gaddafi to end conflict (willing to write off cited war crimes if he surrenders Libya to the Globalists)

Besides, the west sold Libya all the weapons we are now funding the resistance to fight against:

George Galloway interviewed on Sky News with journalist Nabila Ramdani on the Libya, Gaddafi, UN resolution, the bombing, arms, oil and gas.

RawDawg points out that we have no interest, as Americans and that what we are doing is the height of hypocrisy:

First, the US has no strategic or security interest neither in Libya nor in seeing Quaddifi removed from power. Although the premise of protecting civilians is promulgated as being of utmost importance, they do not say if rebels start to kill ruthlessly once they reach the immediate areas around Tripoli, that the US will protect pro government supports equally as vehement. This throws a wrench in what is apparently illogic US logic.

Second, the hypocrisy displayed by the current administration causes additional consternation. Looking at Yemen for example, where in theory we have a strategic interest, we are taking no action. Yemen is a country in which we have evidence that al Qaida is holding training for terrorist attacks against the US. There is also a division between the military between defectors from the monarchy and those loyal to the US confederate President Ali Abdullah Saleh. We are not involved at all yet a split in the military is likely the US worse fear seeing that it may lead to isolation for us not openly and aggressively supporting the youth revolt. They already are more anti-US than most other Arab nations and this may push them closer to Al Qaeda.

And whatever happened to the BFF’s?

He said, “Now, ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barakeh Obama.”

Gaddafi stressed that Obama’s presidency is “a major historical gain” and said, “He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning towards peace.”

h/t Zero Hedge

Barry sets the friendship record straight here (I won’t bother putting the video up here and as DS explains:)

Propaganda Alert!

Warning: please don’t eat or drink anything while watching this video, wouldn’t want to hear of anyone choking.  Thank you.  ~ DS

But there are those that will explain the difference in truth and what emanates from Hopester’s mouth (and the fact that he lied to get elected and does totally different once the Sheople voted for him and the Empire):

Of course there is nothing new about shifting positions coming from the mouths of government officials. Take into consideration the March 7 press release by PJ Crowley:

QUESTION: P.J., before getting to a call with Juppé and the implications of that, I just wanted you to get a chance – Mark said on the conference call earlier that the – this story that appeared in the British newspaper over the weekend about the U.S. asking the Saudis to give arms to the Libyan rebels, he said that that was inaccurate and said that you might have something more to say about that.

MR. CROWLEY: I will just reiterate what he said.

QUESTION: Well, the reason I’m even asking this, first, is because at the White House, the spokesman there, when he was asked, gave the response, “I have nothing for you on that,” which, to my mind, was either the refuge of the – is the refuge of the inept or scoundrel. Is there anything to this? It’s less than a non-denial denial.

MR. CROWLEY: No, no. Well –

QUESTION: Can you put a stake through the heart of this story or –

MR. CROWLEY: Yes. Well, it’s very simple. In the UN Security Council resolution passed on Libya, there is an arms embargo that affects Libya, which means it’s a violation for any country to provide arms to anyone in Libya. So it’s not true.

QUESTION: Okay, all right.

QUESTION: And you’re not – so then you’re not going to ever consider arming the rebels?

MR. CROWLEY: Well, I can repeat if you want.

QUESTION: Yeah.

MR. CROWLEY: It would be illegal for the United States to do that.

QUESTION: So that you’re eliminating that as an option?

MR. CROWLEY: Well, it’s not a legal option.

QUESTION: Well, but the –

QUESTION: So you’re not going to do it?

QUESTION: Your counterpart at the White House said that arming the rebels – he said all options are on the table.

MR. CROWLEY: Yes.

QUESTION: And that that is one of them.

MR. CROWLEY: Okay. I haven’t seen a transcript.

Oops! Not on the same page, but Crowley knows the law (supposedly). So, who will override the man’s understanding of the law?

Sec Clinton has other ideas.

Let me finish by quoting some of Paul Craig Roberts latest piece found at Information Clearing House, where you will get a taste of the exact position I take: Obama is a lying hypocrite and I cannot understand how anyone could take him serious again:

In his war against Libya, Obama has taken America one step further into Caesarism. Obama did Bush one step better and did not even bother to get congressional authorization for his attack on Libya. Obama claimed that his moral authority trumped the US Constitution. The hypocrisy reeks. How the public stands it, I do not know:
“To brush aside America’s responsibility as a leader and–more profoundly–our responsibilities to our fellow human beings under such circumstances would have been a betrayal of who we are. Some nations may be able to turn a blind eye to atrocities in other countries. The United States of America is different. And as president, I refused to wait for the images of slaughter and mass graves before taking action.”

Doesn’t seem to make any difference to the man when it comes to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and every other place we control by killing or money or or torture threats.

B’Man’s Redneck Watch: Rep Steve Cohen

Posted by BuelahMan on January 21, 2011

Have you ever seen someone struggle so hard to not look like a total, lying tool when they know how obvious it is that they look like a total, lying tool?

When he was asked about this, he said, “I dont know who got everybody’s panties in a wad over this statement.”

Altho a jew, he is a 4th generation Memphian and can obviously be called a redneck.

Chinese Take Out

Posted by BuelahMan on November 12, 2010

And it is US they are going to “take out”.

So, after writing the post about the Missile In My Back Yard (which was actually the title for the email sent me from Andrew, my friend in California), I speculated about some foreign entity that had infiltrated our defenses and launched an ICBM to show us who has game. In the discussion area, we have played around with various scenarios and rationales, including Greg’s thought that it is just a diversion (and it may well be).

But it also may be a hoax: a false flag event to demonize the Chinese (and by extension, Russia, Iran and Venezuela). I have written several times that our biggest enemies are really the BRIC nations and their ability to thwart our economic hegemony, since they are the new economic power in the world. What if our Navy was given instructions to launch a missile and play dumb, allowing conspiracy theorists, such as myself, to make the connections that another military is, in fact, able to penetrate our defenses? It is definitely a possibility. And it would help enrage the American public.

It may be just the diversion Greg outlines; Something to take our attention away from the Jekyll Island meeting of the Fed and what is being discussed/implemented to bring “Severe Austerity” to America and continue the ravaging of our treasury (your and my pockets).

It is possible. But there are other possible scenarios to discuss.

One is found in the latest report that Wayne Madsen wrote (featured on InfoWars). According to Wayne:

China Fired Missile Seen In Southern California

China flexed its military muscle Monday evening in the skies west of Los Angeles when a Chinese Navy Jin class ballistic missile nuclear submarine, deployed secretly from its underground home base on the south coast of Hainan island, launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from international waters off the southern California coast. WMR’s intelligence sources in Asia, including Japan, say the belief by the military commands in Asia and the intelligence services is that the Chinese decided to demonstrate to the United States its capabilities on the eve of the G-20 Summit in Seoul and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Tokyo, where President Obama is scheduled to attend during his ten-day trip to Asia.

The reported Chinese missile test off Los Angeles came as a double blow to Obama. The day after the missile firing, China’s leading credit rating agency, Dagong Global Credit Rating, downgraded sovereign debt rating of the United States to A-plus from AA. The missile demonstration coupled with the downgrading of the United States financial grade represents a military and financial show of force by Beijing to Washington.

The Pentagon spin machine, backed by the media reporters who regularly cover the Defense Department, as well as officials of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and the U.S. Northern Command, is now spinning various conspiracy theories, including describing the missile plume videotaped by KCBS news helicopter cameraman Gil Leyvas at around 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, during the height of evening rush hour, as the condensation trail from a jet aircraft. Other Pentagon-inspired cover stories are that the missile was actually an amateur rocket or an optical illusion.

There are no records of a plane in the area having taken off from Los Angeles International Airport or from  other airports in the region. The Navy and Air Force have said that they were not conducting any missile tests from submarines, ships, or Vandenberg Air Force Base. The Navy has also ruled out an accidental firing from one of its own submarines.

Missile experts, including those from Jane’s in London, say the plume was definitely from a missile, possibly launched from a submarine. WMR has learned that the missile was likely a  JL-2 ICBM, which has a range of 7,000 miles, and was fired in a northwesterly direction over the Pacific and away from U.S. territory from a Jin class submarine. The Jin class can carry up to twelve such missiles.

Navy sources have revealed that the missile may have impacted on Chinese territory and that the National Security Agency (NSA) likely posseses intercepts of Chinese telemtry signals during the missile firing and subsequent testing operations…

Read the rest at InfoWars or at the site where I read it and I give a hat tip to: DProgram

As BWaves points out, we are supposedly able to know via sonic signature, every sub that is in the world. But “why” would he and I think such a thing? Because as a squid, that was what I was taught. Because BWaves has a military background and is studied in equipment and technology. Even as a civilian, we are taught that our military superiority and defense is impenetrable (unless a rag-tag bunch of box cutter wielding “terrorists” decide to attack and then the MASSIVELY superior “defense” is flaccid… go figure).

I keep coming back to the same conclusion, IF this was an ICBM (or similar missile, as most expert commentary I have heard, does suggest, as opposed to the ludicrous idea that it was a “model rocket”), then there are only a few countries that possess such a thing. One would think, as an “America is Number 1 in All Things” type of guy, that we would be able to KNOW exactly WHO launched that device.

We are either being lied to or we are much more insecure than anyone has been led to believe. If you want to know what I think, I believe it is both.

SOME of The Globes Worst “ONGOING” Ecological Disasters

NIGERIA

Disaster: Oil spills
Going since: Around 1966

Damage done: The Deepwater Horizon incident may have been the worst oil spill in U.S. history, but it pales in comparison to the ongoing catastrophe that has afflicted Nigeria’s Niger River Delta over the last five decades. As many as 546 million gallons of oil are believed to have spilled since oil exploration began in this region — the equivalent of an Exxon Valdez spill every year. There are around 2,000 official spill sites in the region, some of them decades old.
Oil companies operating in the region blame thieves and sabotage for the majority of the spills, though local activists say aging equipment and lax safety are the cause of many of them. The number of severity of the spills may actually increase in coming years as the industry moves into more remote and difficult terrain in the delta.
It’s not just the spilled oil that can be dangerous. Pipeline explosions, like in the one that killed more than 100 people outside Lagos in 2008, are increasingly frequent as well.

CHINA

Disaster: Coal fires
Going since: 1962

Damage done: China’s recent industrial growth depends heavily on coal — the source of 70 percent of the country’s energy — a major reason why it recently became the world’s largest carbon emitter. The country’s mining sector is also extremely dangerous, killing as many as 13 miners every day. But nowhere is the danger of China’s out-of-control coal addiction more evident than in the 62 raging underground coal fires that have burned in Inner Mongolia since the early 1960s.
Covering an area more than 3,000 miles long, China’s northern coal fires are estimated to destroy as many as 20 million tons of coal per year, more than the entire annual production of Germany. According to some estimates, these fires could be the cause of up to 2 to 3 percent of the world’s carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels. A new initiative by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region aims to put half the fires out by 2012.
Inner Mongolia’s coal fires may be the most severe, but they are hardly unique. An underground fire in Centralia, Pa., begun the same year as many of China’s, is also still burning.
[remember they are battling an enormous oil spill in the China Sea currently]

HAITI

Disaster: Deforestation
Going since: 1492

Damage done: Haiti and the Dominican Republic share an island, as well as similar geographic and climate conditions. So why do severe storms and hurricanes — not to mention earthquakes — only cause horrific human tragedy on the Haitian side? One large reason is the almost complete destruction of Haiti’s trees.
When explorer Christopher Columbus first landed in what was then dubbed Hispañola, around three-fourths of it was covered in trees. Today, 98 percent of its forests are gone — one of the worst cases of deforestation in human history.
The main culprit is charcoal, by far the country’s most popular fuel source, which consumes up to 30 million trees per year. The Dominican Republic has banned cutting down trees for charcoal and subsidized propane as a substitute, and the contrast can be seen in satellite photographs of the border.
Without roots to hold the soil together, hurricanes and earthquakes are much more likely to case deadly landslides. The erosion of high-quality topsoil has also devastated Haiti’s agricultural sector, exacerbating its endemic poverty.
The list of challenges confronting Haiti following this year’s earthquake is long and daunting, but if the country is ever going to stand a fighting chance, what it needs more than anything else is more trees.

UZBEKISTAN/KAZAKHSTAN

Disaster: The shrinking of the Aral Sea
Going since: The 1960s

Damage done: Straddling the border of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, the Aral Sea was once the world’s fourth-largest inland water body and home to at least 20 species of fish and a thriving coastal economy in the surrounding towns. In the early 1960s, the Soviet government built more than 45 dams and 20,000 miles of canals in an effort to create a cotton industry on the desert plains of Uzbekistan, depriving the sea of its main sources.
Over the next three decades, the sea shrank to two-fifths its original size, turning fishing villages into barren desert outposts. Thanks to the high salt content in the remaining water, all 20 fish species are now extinct. Drinking water supplies in the area are dangerously low and the ground contains dangerous pesticides from the cotton farms. When the wind sweeps across the now-dry sea bed, it spreads up to 75 million tons of toxic dust and salt across Central Asia every year.
Thankfully, dams constructed in the last decade on the Kazakh side seem to be leading to a partial recovery. The Northern Aral’s surface span has grown by 20 percent and fish and bird species are starting to return. The Southern Ara

PACIFIC OCEAN

Disaster: The Eastern Garbage Patch
Going since: Discovered in 1997

Damage done: Somewhere between California and Hawaii lies the world’s largest garbage dump — a massive soup of plastic and debris one-and-a-half times the size of the United States and 100 feet deep. The “patch” is the product of the North Pacific Gyre, a loop of currents that picks up trash from the West Coast of the United States and East Asia and funnels it into an endless loop in the North Pacific.
Within the patch, pieces of plastic outweigh zooplankton by a factor of 6 to 1, and are often mistaken by fish and birds for food. Chemicals from the plastic can also make their way into the food chain, including fish consumed by humans.
The patch is the most widely publicized example, but this is a global problem. According to the U.N. Environment Program the world’s oceans contain 46,000 pieces of plastic per square mile. These plastics are responsible for the deaths of more than a million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals every year.

The world is going to be close to it’s breaking point very very soon!

Camp is empty   report and video link

I watched the report on this on BBC. This camp is empty because AGAIN the haitian Government is elitist and corrupt. The ‘weathly’ folks who used to live in fine Starter-Castles and McMansions said they wouldn’t live there. And AFTER the USA donated these tents, bathrooms, watering stations etc.. the Haitian government built this camp for the RICH folks who will not live there. They demand the government TEAR THEM DOWN and build them their big homes again on that level land!!! Meanwhile, starving poor folks who have nothing are across the road in a slum camp seeing this camp and are not allowed there. I tell you what, I think the poor folk need to revolt!! and march their starved asses over to the new camp… and squat. Ok I know, they would most likely be killed… but damn it this makes me so friggin mad. THIS IS EXACTLY wtf has been wrong in haiti all along. Its not that other countries haven’t helped… but their government keeps the donations and goods for the upper elite [as if they are really classey folk! ]… geeeece.

General… oh General….

Posted by Lynda on June 25, 2010

Nation building in Afghanistan is not our job— it is theirs.

By Eugene Robinson
Friday, June 25, 2010
Washington Post

The good news? Nobody has to pretend anymore that Gen. Stanley McChrystal knew how to fix Afghanistan within a year. The bad news? No
President Obama was absolutely right to sack the preening McChrystal, whose inner circle, as portrayed in Rolling Stone magazine, had all the seriousness and decorum of a frat house keg party. And it was a brilliant political move to turn to Petraeus, who is made of purest Teflon. Critics who might have been tempted to blast the president for changing horses in midstream can hardly object when he has given the reins to the man who averted a humiliating U.S. defeat in Iraq.
Note that I didn’t credit Petraeus with “winning” in Iraq. He didn’t. What he managed to do was redeem the situation to the point where the United States could begin bringing home its combat troops. If the Obama administration’s aims in Afghanistan are recalibrated to accommodate objective reality, then Petraeus can succeed there, too. But this means that the general’s assignment should be a narrow one: Lay the groundwork for a U.S. withdrawal to begin next summer, as Obama has pledged.
After relieving McChrystal of his command Wednesday, Obama called in his national security team and read the riot act. No more bickering, sniping, backbiting or name-calling, the president ordered. Play nice.
But all the comity in the world doesn’t resolve the essential tension between those who believe our goal in Afghanistan should be defined as “victory” and those who believe it should be defined as “finding the exit.” Two thousand years of history are on the side of the “exit” camp, and the fact is that at some point we’re going to leave. The question is how much time will pass — and how many more young Americans will be killed or wounded — before that inevitable day comes.

McChrystal, who designed the counterinsurgency strategy being attempted in Afghanistan, didn’t disguise his opposition to administration officials such as Vice President Biden, Ambassador Karl Eikenberry and special envoy Richard Holbrooke, who questioned whether the strategy could work. Petraeus is far too good a politician to fall into that trap. He won’t allow any daylight between himself and the civilian leadership.
But ultimately, there’s going to be no way to avoid the central question: What kind of Afghanistan will we leave behind?
One answer would be that we have to leave in place a durable, functional central government that has full legitimacy and control within the nation’s borders. This would provide the United States with a reliable ally in a dangerous region and also ensure that Afghanistan would never again be used as a launching pad for attacks by al-Qaeda. But to get the country to that point, given where it is now, could take a decade or more of sustained, concentrated attention. It would mean not just defeating the Taliban but molding the regime of Afghan President Hamid Karzai into a reasonably honest, effective government. This would be a tall order even if Karzai were a stable, consistent, loyal partner. Does anybody believe that he is?
A better answer would be that it’s enough to leave behind an Afghanistan that no longer poses a serious threat to the United States or its vital interests. Nation-building would be the Afghans’ problem, not ours.
Petraeus was successful in Iraq because he realized that he couldn’t create an Athenian democracy in Baghdad. But the highly imperfect Iraqi government is light-years beyond what the general is likely to be able to achieve in Kabul. Even after the war, Iraq was left with modern infrastructure, a highly educated and sophisticated population, and a sizable percentage of the world’s proven oil reserves. Afghanistan has none of these advantages. The political culture is stubbornly medieval; the populace is poor, uneducated and wary of foreign influences. Afghanistan does have great mineral wealth, apparently, but no mining industry to dig it out and no railroads to get it to the marketplace.
In recent testimony before Congress, Petraeus was less than definitive when asked about Obama’s July 2011 deadline. Because he has such credibility and standing in Washington, his view on when we can begin to leave Afghanistan will be more important than McChrystal’s ever was. I hope that by putting Petraeus in charge of the war, President Obama hasn’t consigned us to a longer stay. His comments Thursday seem to indicate the possibility.

Oh– and I can bet you that Petraeus told the President that he would accept this position with a few conditions– Like ‘Hey I am a Battle Field General.. And I want to WIN, [ like there is such a thing as win] not mandy-pandy around. I am going to make a few changes to your rules of combat– LIKE allow the men to shoot!!!!!” “ Oh and by the way, Rolling Stone Mag, set up McChrystal!”

Stopping The Health Insurance Give-away Bill

Posted by BuelahMan on March 19, 2010

Dennis the Chamberlain, don't forget to grab the train of the King's robe

Should we trust Dennis ever again?

Nope. He sold his soul to the devil, himself.

As Kurt Nimmo writes at Infowars:

Meanwhile, Obama managed to arm-twist one-time totalitarian care opponent Dennis Kucinich into backing the plan Democrats say they will enact without votes in Congress. Obama had summoned Kucinich to Air Force One and Dennis kissed the ring. “Even though I don’t like the bill, I’ve made a decision to support it in the hope that we can move to a more comprehensive approach once this legislation is done,” he told reporters.

Apparently Kucinich no longer consider Obama’s totalitarian care plan a sham. In October, he said the entire legislative package was “a bailout for insurance companies.” The American people are “being mandated to buy private insurance. If you read the bill, the people are going to end up paying — the insurance companies can raise rates 25 percent right off the bat, if you read the bill,” said Kucinich.

Dennis Kucinich, one of a very small number of Democrats who originally opposed Obamacare, now apparently believes it is fine and dandy for the government to force the commoners to buy health care insurance at gunpoint. He also believes large insurance corporations deserve a monopoly in partnership with the government.

Should we ever trust Dennis Kucinich again? I think not.

Dennis tried to defend his indefensible traitor action (piece of shit, lying scumbag), presented at AfterDowningStreet

Single Payer advocates explain reality to the Corporate whores, Howard Dean and John Conyers. h/t SinglePayerAction

And we also get the benefit (read as “sham”) of having the senate protect the health insurance premium double digit increases.

There may be but one way to stop this horrendous bill: Wait until the individual states sue.

Raw Story explains that Virginia will sue

(not that you would think it is a good idea from the Dem party sycophants commenting there)

Or maybe Idaho (thanks to AfterDowningStreet) for the link:

Idaho on Wednesday became the first state to pass a law saying no thanks to part of President Obama’s health care proposal.

The Idaho Health Care Freedom Act says in part, “every person within the state of Idaho is and shall be free to choose or decline to choose any mode of securing health care services without penalty or threat of penalty.”

Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter, a Republican, said Wednesday he signed it because he believes any health care laws should ensure people are “treated as an individual, rather than as an amorphous mass whose only purpose in this world is to obey federal mandates.”

Several other states may follow suit.

And of course, the obvious next step in the plan is to abolish Medicare and Medicaid. Walgreens in Washington State will stop accepting medicare payments for meds (which will be the last day my family will ever shop in their stores in TN or anywhere else, for that matter)

Effective April 16, Walgreens drugstores across the state won’t take any new Medicaid patients, saying that filling their prescriptions is a money-losing proposition — the latest development in an ongoing dispute over Medicaid reimbursement.

The company, which operates 121 stores in the state, will continue filling Medicaid prescriptions for current patients.

In a news release, Walgreens said its decision to not take new Medicaid patients stemmed from a “continued reduction in reimbursement” under the state’s Medicaid program, which reimburses it at less than the break-even point for 95 percent of brand-name medications dispensed to Medicaid patents. (h/t PrisonPlanet)

If you want to see a non-corporately owned person explain the truth in opposition to the flip-flopping Kucinich at Democracy Now. Watch as Nader says the truth about the bill and how Dennis cannot explain himself without admitting he had to kowtow to corporate pressures.

Dennis, you know that Obama is not going to help real America. Ralph knows this and is unapologetic in explaining it.

The video at the Democracy Now link is one of the most important you can see that not only tears Dennis a new asshole, but explains exactly what is happening in this bill. Dennis, however, is owned and indebted to the Corporately owned Democratic party. And as far as I am concerned, he can have them and suck on them and do whatever it is he needs to do to kiss their ass. At least Ralph didn’t.

At the end, Dennis shows his true colors and that his dedication and motivation is to protect Obama and the Dem Party.

This, in and of itself, is enough to write him off as I have.

Civil and Honest Conversations?

Posted by BuelahMan on August 15, 2009

Who is this man talking to? Was he speaking to the 46 Million people without insurance? Was he talking to the untold MILLIONS that are underinsured? Or the people forced to go to the RAM gatherings across the US?

He must be talking to some coffer who is worried that the “civil and honest conversation” about Single Payer, right?

When I listen to this guy speak, knowing that he has garnered more money from Big Meds than all of the rest combined, I hear nothing but lie after lie after lie.

But he ain’t trying to kill your grandmother (I don’t think he gives a fuck about your grandmother). He is doing nothing more than continuing the staus quo and smoothly blinding you to believe him. He laughs in the face of the right-wing fruitcakes who are following their “Tea-bagger”, “Death Panel” talking points, all-the-while he pockets more cashola and protects America from the only sane, civil and honest healthcare system.

There is but one reason this man and his cronies aren’t letting Single Payer in this debate… MONEY.

PERIOD.

From OpenSecrets.orgOpenSecrets.org

Health providers, insurers and pharmaceutical companies have taken multiple approaches to winning over the federal lawmakers shaping the legislation. The health sector boosted its campaign contributions compared to the last presidential cycle, to $167.7 million in 2008 from $123.7 million in 2004. The various health industries have also steadily increased their lobbying efforts, from $448.1 million in 2007 to $484.4 million in 2008. So far this year, the sector has paid lobbyists $126.8 million to do its bidding on Capitol Hill. And those expenditures will only increase as the chairs of the five main committees working on health care legislation continue to iron out the details: Will the plan include a government insurance option? Will Congress mandate that all individuals, including the 47 million that are currently uninsured, purchase health insurance? And where will the money come from to pay for the reforms? The health sector–which includes some industries that are diametrically opposed to one another in their answers to these questions–eclipses all other sectors but the financial sector in lobbying spending since 1998, putting $3.4 billion into its efforts.

B’Man’s Patriot Watch: Sibel Edmunds

Posted by BuelahMan on August 1, 2009

Sibel Edmunds

Sibel Edmunds

Of course I know that 9/11 was an inside job, no matter what some of your favorite “progressive” or “liberals” say to the contrary (Matt Taibbi, Bill Maher and a whole host of your favorite TV talent). As far back as 2006, polls were saying the same. A New York Times/CBS News Poll conducted showed that only 16% polled believe the “official” storylie.

Do you think members of the Bush Administration are telling the truth, are mostly telling the truth but hiding something, or are they mostly lying?

Telling the truth 16%

Hiding something 53%

Mostly lying 28%

Not sure 3%”

A 2004 CNN Poll had the number up to 89% believing that the American government was lying and covering something up.

There have been many polls all over the world since and depending on the poll there are varied results. Within these very polls, one can see that many Americans, even as late as 2007, still believed that Saddam Hussein had something to do with it. I wonder if it was the same White Republicans (are there any others) who denied the president’s complicity 7 to 1 in this Rasmussen Poll:

Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Democrats believe he did know, 39% say he did not know, and 26% are not sure.

Republicans reject that view and, by a 7-to-1 margin, say the President did not know in advance about the attacks. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 18% believe the President knew and 57% take the opposite view.

Overall, 22% of all voters believe the President knew about the attacks in advance. A slightly larger number, 29%, believe the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. White Americans are less likely than others to believe that either the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. Young Americans are more likely than their elders to believe the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance.

The reason I know it is that the evidence available (meaning, the evidence that wasn’t quickly taken away without investigation) shows that it is evidently buildingsOsama Bin Laden

that are imploding within their own footprints and that weapons-grade nano-particle thermitic material is found in the pulverized dust (dust that will not occur in a simple collapse) and that they have admitted that WTC7 was intentionally brought down, but never mentioned in the government’s offical report. All of this is covered well by Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Highly recommended reading.

But now things are getting even more interesting with Sibel coming out, as it were. Tengrain contributed a link to The Political Carnival for me to review (I had seen some articles surrounding this, but hadn’t the time to listen until early this morning). The original audio interview with Sibel Edmunds is found at The Brad Blog, at the Political Carnival link  or for your convenience, listen below:

Mike Malloy Show Brad Friedman Interviews Sibel Edwards

Her segment begins at 6:20 as Brad introduces her. The 14 minute mark is when Brad actually brings her on. The interview concludes in the second part below:

Mike Malloy Show Brad Friedman Interviews Sibel Edwards Hour 2

Partial Transcript below from Global Research:

Caller: … What are Sibel’s thoughts about 9/11 possibly being an inside job?

Sibel Edmonds: As I have done for the past 7 or 8 years, I have basically stuck with what I know, first-hand, directly, my own knowledge, based on my own experience, based on what I obtained, which is not a lot, but it is extremely important.

And to answer a question like “Was it an inside job?” would be, first of all, preposterous for me to make that call. But what I can tell you is, based on what we know already – and these are the confirmed cases, like Colleen Rowley – look at her and her case – and look at the Phoenix Memo with the other FBI agents in the Phoenix field office, and then look at FBI agent Wright in Chicago, look at that case…

And if you read James Bamford’s latest book, what the NSA obtained from Yemen before September 11, because we were following two of these hijackers in Yemen… Well, if you put all those things, all this information that has come from various agencies, in one place, and you look at it, and you say “Wow!”

You know, it is very easy to write off things when you have one or two slip-ups, and you attribute certain things to bureaucratic bungling – but it goes beyond that… Now, what is that? As I said, I wont be able to answer the question, but what I can answer is, yes, we had this 911 Commission that was formed (laughs) and first we had Henry Kissinger appointed to be the Chairman, this tells you what kind of Commission they had in mind, which was going to be cosmetic. It was pretty obvious. Then we had the final Commission, with a bunch of people with conflicts of interest, and we didn’t get anything.

As you see, people have been gagged, a lot of things have been classified… And you think ‘Why would they go so far to cover up bureaucratic bungling?’ Again, that doesn’t mean that this was an inside job, but what it tells you is that there are a lot of things that we don’t know, there are a lot of things that our government doesn’t want us to know.

I mean, the recent thing just came out a few days ago with the case against Saudi Arabia, with the 9/11 family members. Well yesterday it made it to the front page of the New York Times with Eric Lichtblau, OK. So now the Justice Department under Obama is saying ‘No you can’t get this information because we want to protect Saudi Arabia.’ Well, protect them against what? So those are the questions that have not been answered. And those questions that have been answered, nothing has been done about it, and no explanation has been given to us. So we have all these issues, and there is no simple answer, but one simple answer is that, yes, we are facing a lot of cover-up. And I want to know why, and I’m sure you want to know why too.

Brad Friedman: Nah, I don’t want to know (laughs). So it’s fair to say in your case then that you don’t necessarily have information that you haven’t been able to disclose that reveals that 9/11 was an inside job, you just have, like I do, concerns about the information that we have, the bad information that we have…

Sibel Edmonds: (interrupts) I have to jump in here and say that I have information about things that our government has lied to us about. I know. For example, to say that since the fall of the Soviet Union we ceased all of our intimate relationship with Bin Laden and the Taliban – those things can be proven as lies, very easily, based on the information they classified in my case, because we did carry very intimate relationship with these people, and it involves Central Asia, all the way up to September 11.

I know you are going to say ‘Oh my God, we went there and bombed the medical factory in the 1990s during Clinton, we declared him Most Wanted’ and what I’m telling you is, with those groups, we had operations in Central Asia, and that relationship – using them as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict – we used them all the way until September 11.

Brad Friedman: Are you able to speak in more detail about that material that was classified?

Sibel Edmonds: People have written about it, based on the interviews conducted, and based on other people talking about it. And you know what, it’s not very difficult to put two and two together on this. There is so much information that of course our Mainstream Media has not reported, but there have been some good books written on the topic, and that is: What we have been doing, what we were doing in those years, all the way, all the way until that day of September 11, in Central Asia, in what they call East Turkistan where we are talking about the Uighurs, and with Bin Laden, via Turkey.

And these are the Turkish actors because Central Asian countries are Turkic-speaking, they have the same heritage as the Republic of Turkey, the share the same language, the same culture. And we, as a country, the United States, used Turkey, along with actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia to carry out a lot of operations.

The Russians have talked about it, because they have been screaming about it, again those things have not been reported, but what we have on that has been classified. They have been using ‘sensitive diplomatic relations,’ protecting Turkey, protecting Israel, protecting Pakistan, protecting Saudi Arabia…

Well, that does not say that 9/11 was an inside job, but that tells people, it would tell people, the information that they have gagged, they have classified, a lot of things that would maybe bring us closer to the answer, and why our government has been lying about it.

Global Research also covered this in more detail and has this to say:

Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman (audio, partial transcript). In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained ‘intimate relations’ with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, “all the way until that day of September 11.”

These ‘intimate relations’ included using Bin Laden for ‘operations’ in Central Asia, including Xinjiang, China. These ‘operations’ involved using al Qaeda and the Taliban in the same manner “as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict,” that is, fighting ‘enemies’ via proxies.

As Sibel has previously described, and as she reiterates in this latest interview, this process involved using Turkey (with assistance from ‘actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia’) as a proxy, which in turn used Bin Laden and the Taliban and others as a proxy terrorist army.

Control of Central Asia

The goals of the American ‘statesmen’ directing these activities included control of Central Asia’s vast energy supplies and new markets for military products.

The Americans had a problem, though. They needed to keep their fingerprints off these operations to avoid a) popular revolt in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan), and b) serious repercussions from China and Russia. They found an ingenious solution: Use their puppet-state Turkey as a proxy, and appeal to both pan-Turkic and pan-Islam sensibilities.

Turkey, a NATO ally, has a lot more credibility in the region than the US and, with the history of the Ottoman Empire, could appeal to pan-Turkic dreams of a wider sphere of influence. The majority of the Central Asian population shares the same heritage, language and religion as the Turks.

In turn, the Turks used the Taliban and al Qaeda, appealing to their dreams of a pan-Islamic caliphate (Presumably. Or maybe the Turks/US just paid very well.)

Accordingto Sibel:

This started more than a decade-long illegal, covert operation in Central Asia by a small group in the US intent on furthering the oil industry and the Military Industrial Complex, using Turkish operatives, Saudi partners and Pakistani allies, furthering this objective in the name of Islam.

Uighurs

Sibel was recently asked to write about the recent situation with the Uighurs in Xinjiang, but she declined, apart from saying that “our fingerprint is all over it.”

Of course, Sibel isn’t the first or only person to recognize any of this. Eric Margolis, one of the best reporters in the West on matters of Central Asia, stated that the Uighurs in the training camps in Afghanistan up to 2001:

“were being trained by Bin Laden to go and fight the communist Chinese in Xinjiang, and this was not only with the knowledge, but with the support of the CIA, because they thought they might use them if war ever broke out with China.”

And also that:

“Afghanistan was not a hotbed of terrorism, these were commando groups, guerrilla groups, being trained for specific purposes in Central Asia.”

In a separate interview, Margolis said:

“That illustrates Henry Kissinger’s bon mot that the only thing more dangerous than being America’s enemy is being an ally, because these people were paid by the CIA, they were armed by the US, these Chinese Muslims from Xinjiang, the most-Western province.

The CIA was going to use them in the event of a war with China, or just to raise hell there, and they were trained and supported out of Afghanistan, some of them with Osama Bin Laden’s collaboration. The Americans were up to their ears with this.”

Rogues Gallery

Last year, Sibel came up with a brilliant idea to expose some of the criminal activity that she is forbidden to speak about: she publishedeighteen photos, titled “Sibel Edmonds State Secrets Privilege Gallery,” of people involved the operations that she has been trying to expose. One of those people is Anwar Yusuf Turani, the so-called ‘President-in-exile’ of East Turkistan (Xinjiang). This so-called ‘government-in-exile’ was ‘established‘ on Capitol Hill in September, 2004, drawing a sharp rebuke from China.

Also featured in Sibel’s Rogues Gallery was ‘former’ spook Graham Fuller, who was instrumental in the establishment of Turani’s ‘government-in-exile’ of  East Turkistan. Fuller has written extensively on Xinjiang, and his “Xinjiang Project” for Rand Corp is apparentlythe blueprint for Turani’s government-in-exile. Sibel has openly statedher contempt for Mr. Fuller.

Susurluk

The Turkish establishment has a long history of mingling matters of state with terrorism, drug trafficking and other criminal activity, best exemplified by the 1996 Susurluk incident which exposed the so-called Deep State.

Sibel states that “a few main Susurluk actors also ended up in Chicago where they centered ‘certain’ aspects of their operations (Especially East Turkistan-Uighurs).”

One of the main Deep State actors, Mehmet Eymur, former Chiefof Counter-Terrorism for Turkey’s intelligence agency, the MIT, features in Sibel’s Rogues Gallery. Eymur was given exile in the US. Another member of Sibel’s gallery, Marc Grossman was Ambassador to Turkey at the time that the Susurluk incident exposed the Deep State. He was recalled shortly after, prior to the end of his assignment, as was Grossman’s underling, Major Douglas Dickerson, who later tried to recruit Sibel into the spying ring.

The modus operandi of the Susurluk gang is the same as the activities that Sibel describes as taking place in Central Asia, the only difference is that this activity was exposed in Turkey a decade ago, whereas the organs of the state in the US, including the corporate media, have successfully suppressed this story.

Chechnya, Albania & Kosovo

Central Asia is not the only place where American foreign policy makers have shared interests with Bin Laden. Consider the war in Chechnya. As I documented here, Richard Perle and Stephen Solarz (both in Sibel’s gallery) joined other leading neocon luminaries such as Elliott Abrams, Kenneth Adelman, Frank Gaffney, Michael Ledeen, James Woolsey, and Morton Abramowitz in a group called the American Committee for Peace in Chechnya (ACPC). For his part, Bin Laden donated$25 million to the cause, as well as numerous fighters, and technical expertise, establishing training camps.

US interests also convergedwith those of al-Qaeda in Kosovo and Albania.

Of course, it is not uncommon for circumstances to arise where ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend.’ On the other hand, in a transparent democracy, we expect a full accounting of the circumstances leading up to a tragic event like 9/11. The 9/11 Commission was supposed to provide exactly that.

State Secrets

Sibel has famously been dubbed the most gagged woman in America, having the State Secrets Privilege imposed on her twice. Her 3.5 hour testimony to the 9/11 Commission has been entirely suppressed, reduced to a single footnote which refers readers to her classified testimony. In the interview, she says that the information that was classified in her case specifically identifies that the US was using Bin Laden and the Taliban in Central Asia, including Xinjiang. In the interview, Sibel reiterates that when invoking the gag orders, the US government claims that it is protecting ” ‘sensitive diplomatic relations,’ protecting Turkey, protecting Israel, protecting Pakistan, protecting Saudi Arabia…” This is no doubt partially true, but it is also true that they are protecting themselves too, and it is a crime in the US to use classification and secrecy to cover up crimes.

As Sibel says in the interview:

I have information about things that our government has lied to us about… those things can be proven as lies, very easily, based on the information they classified in my case, because we did carry very intimate relationship with these people, and it involves Central Asia, all the way up to September 11.

Summary

The bombshell here is obviously that certain people in the US were using Bin Laden up to September 11, 2001.

It is important to understand why: the US outsourced terror operations to al Qaeda and the Taliban for many years, promoting the Islamization of Central Asia in an attempt to personally profit off military sales as well as oil and gas concessions.

The silence by the US government on these matters is deafening. So, too, is the blowback.

Did George Bush push the plunger, like Chris Matthews laughed about? Of course not. Let’s just laugh this off, ok. Let us just disregard the obviousness of complicity of someone in the country. Let us disregard the evidence, like that very precise 45 degree angle above. Let us follow George W Bush’s warnings that we not even think about conspiracy theories, when their every action causes any thinking person to question complicity. And we all know what a truthful bastard W is, right?

Let me put it this way, if, at this point, you don’t suspect something afoul, then you are not thinking clearly. If that is you, then just turn your TV back on and suck up the propaganda that you feed on as a gullible and ignorant Sheople. For if you are still in total belief of the “Official Story”, you need help: psychiatric help. And please give up on your dream Investigator’s job. You suck.

Tennessee Has “State’s Rights”? Not So Much

Posted by BuelahMan on July 21, 2009

Last month, the state of Tennessee’s General Assembly passed House Bill 1796, the “Tennessee Firearms Freedom Act,” which states that any firearms or ammunition manufactured within the state and legally owned and kept within the state by citizens are “not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration” due to provisions in the Second, Ninth, and Tenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.

But according to Assistant Director Carson W. Carroll of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the U.S. Constitution is little more than a g.d. piece of paper, as George W. Bush so infamously deemed it during his reign as the decider-in-chief.

On July 16, Carroll dispatched his agency’s official response to the law passed in Tennessee — the BATFE asserts that “Federal law supersedes the Act, and all provisions of the Gun Control Act and the National Firearms Act, and their corresponding regulations, continue to apply.”

In other words, even tho we are a “Republic” built upon individual states’ rights to enact various and sundry laws, the ATF (a federal agency) tells us this is untrue. Just as is the case of medical marijuana laws and the Feds busting shops after being legalized by the state, this is another affront on this nation’s constitution. This is simply one more step into the Fascist World that our country has become.
