Chavez Laid To Rest

He died on March 5. Smart money says Obama killed him. His death was very suspicious. A previous article discussed it.

Hopefully forensic evidence will prove what many people believe.

He meant so much to so many. He spoke in language people understood.

He meant what he said. He kept promises made. He championed social democracy. Venezuelans have the real thing.

Progressive Radio News Hour regular James Petras discussed his legacy. He calls him a “21st century renaissance man.”

He was “unique.” He made a difference. He contributed hugely to advancing humanity. He did so “in the spheres of political economy, ethics and international law and in defining relations between political leaders and citizens.”

He cared. He showed it. No one anywhere matched him. He believed popular needs matter more than power. He transformed Venezuela from neoliberal harshness to social democracy.

He was reelected overwhelmingly four times. In 2006, his landslide topped all presidential victories in US history.

Except for the close race in 1812 and 1800 deadlock, Jefferson/Madison Democrat-Republicans dominated US elections. It remained so through 1820.

James Monroe ran virtually unopposed. He won over 80% of the vote. Like Washington, he wasn’t elected. He was coronated.

Competitive elections began in 1824. From then to Chavez’s 2006 near 63% majority, his victory margin exceeded all US presidents. His popularity was overwhelming. It was so for good reason.

He governed democratically. He engaged Venezuelans responsibly. He “invited comments and criticism,” said Petras. He challenged imperial Washington. “You don’t fight terrorism with state terrorism,” he said. These type comments infuriated Washington.

He abhorred violence and war. He championed peaceful conflict resolution. Straightaway in office he began implementing his vision.

He let Venezuelans decide whether to convene a National Constituent Assembly. At issue was drafting a new constitution. Chavez believed in Bolivarian change.

Venezuelans agreed. They approved overwhelmingly. Three months later, National Assembly elections followed. Chavistas won 95% of the seats.

They drafted a Bolivarian constitution. A second referendum followed. Venezuelans again overwhelmingly approved. Historic provisions became law.

No constitution anywhere matches it. It’s a living document. Venezuelans cherish it. It shames America’s.

Articles 83 – 85 mandate quality healthcare. It’s called a “fundamental social right and…responsibility of the state…to guarantee it…to improve the quality of life and common welfare.”

It established national public health. It’s proscribed from being privatized.

Other provisions mandate participatory democracy, quality education to the highest levels, free speech, indigenous rights, housing assistance, social security pensions and more.

Articles 166 – 192 established citizen assemblies. They constitute grassroots participatory democracy. So do thousands of communal councils. Over 30,000 exist. They empower local citizens.

Ordinary people elect their own representatives. They do so throughout the country. What they say matters. They contribute to Bolivarian fairness.

The Law of Communal Councils “represent(s) the means through which the organized masses can take over the direct administration of the policies and projects that are created in response to the needs and aspirations of the communities, in the construction of a fair and just society.”

Social missions were established. Ordinary Venezuelans benefit enormously. Innovative programs include healthcare, education, food, housing, land reform, job training, micro-credit, and more.

Thousands of worker cooperatives exist. Ordinary Venezuelans manage them. Instead of a job, they’re owners. They benefit from profits earned.

At the same time, Chavez championed worker rights. He encouraged trade unionism. America wages war on labor. At issue is destroying decades of hard won rights. Obama’s in the forefront doing so.

Chavez instilled “solidarity and mutual support,” said Petras. He changed Venezuela’s power balance. He shifted it from ruling elites and corrupt politicians to ordinary people.

Petras said his greatest contribution perhaps was believing “that many of the most challenging contemporary political and economic problems can be successfully resolved.”

Nothing is more challenging than transforming longstanding money power-run states to socially democratic ones. Chavez “largely succeeded,” said Petras.

He radically changed Venezuela progressively. His redistributive policies work. He used the nation’s oil wealth responsibly.

He increased social spending over 60%. FY 2013 spending is budgeted to rise another one-third. Income inequality is Latin America’s lowest. Before Chavez, it was the highest.

Poverty fell from 60% to 26%. Extreme poverty decreased from over 16% to 7%.

He grew the economy impressively. Economic growth in 2011 was 4.8%. In 2012, it was 5.6%. Forecasts estimate 6% in 2013.

Nationalized oil, telecommunications, electricity, cement, steel, and other sectors let Venezuela regain economic sovereignty.

Chavez created jobs. Unemployment dropped from 14.5% to 6.4%. Venezuelans receive Latin America’s highest minimum wage.

Women without income and disabled people get 60% of minimum wage support.

Chavez withdrew Venezuela from IMF/World Bank debt peonage. The nation’s debt is about 20% of GDP. America’s exceeds 100%. It rises exponentially annually.

Child mortality fell from 20 per 1,000 to 10. Child malnutrition declined from 21% to less then 3%. Five million children get free meals in school. Life expectancy rose from 72.2 to 74.3.

Around 95% of Venezuelans have access to safe drinking water. Pre-Chavez, it was 82%.

Hundreds of thousands of new homes were built. Commerce, communications, construction, and manufacturing grew impressively. Venezuela has the world’s largest oil reserves.

Around 2.5 million acres of land were returned to aboriginal people. About 7.5 million overall were redistributed. Doing so lets tens of thousands of farmers own their own land.

Chavez eradicated illiteracy. Doing so shames America. Around 32 million Americans can’t read. Forty-eight million do so below a fifth grade level. Computer and math skills are sorely lacking.

Inner city schools don’t teach. Two-thirds of students can’t read proficiently. One in four children grow up unable to read.

America is the only OECD country where the current generation is worse off than previous ones. Prioritizing war and corporate favoritism explains why.

Venezuelan democracy is the world’s best. It’s real. It’s unmatched. Its elections are open, free and fair. Venezuelans are automatically enfranchised at birth.

Its Law of Social Responsibility affirms free expression without censorship, respect for human rights, Venezuelan cultural values, a balance between public duties and private rights, and citizen participation in national affairs.

Chavez championed fair trade. ALBA (the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas) reflects it. It’s comprehensive, bold and innovative. It’s mutually beneficial. It’s polar opposite NAFTA, FTAA, and one-way bilateral agreements.

It’s based on complementarity (not competition), solidarity (not domination), cooperation (not exploitation) and respect for each nation’s sovereignty. It’s free from the control of other nations and large corporations.

Venezuela joined with Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay in establishing Mercosur. It hopes doing so will strengthen ALBA.

In December 2006, Chavez proposed establishing a Bank of the South (Banco del Sur). Doing so is an alternative to Western debt slavery.

A November 2007 summit launched it. In September 2009, it was established. Its members include Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay. Plans are to increase initial capitalization.

Member countries pledge to contribute. Full operations are expected to begin later this year. At issue is representing the needs of the South and contributing to its development.

Chavez urged Latin American integration. UNASUR (Union of South American Nations) was another initiative.

Members include Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay (suspended after its 2012 coup), Chile, Guyana, and Suriname.

Petrocaribe lets most Caribbean states buy Venezuelan oil on preferential terms.

Chavez proved challenging neoliberalism works. Petras calls doing so a major 21st century “breakthrough.” His legacy is “multi-faceted. His contributions are original, theoretical and practical.”

They matter. They’re “universally relevant.” They work. Chavismo lives! Bolivarianism’s institutionalized!

Chavez was “a complete political leader,” said Petras. His stature is unmatched. He’s the most important figure of our time. What he achieved won’t die.

Chavistas promise to carry the torch. Preserving and strengthening Bolivarian achievements matter most.

A Final Comment

On March 5, Chavez died. His body lay in half open coffin. It was on display in Caracas’ Fuerte Tiuna Military Academy. Over five million Venezuelans queued for hours.

They came to honor him. They paid their last respects. They said farewell.

On March 15, 10 days of official mourning ended. Hundreds of thousands of red-shirted Chavistas filled Caracas streets.

A formal procession followed. Chavez’s body was transferred to the 4th February Museum of Military History (Barracks on the Mountain). He’ll remain there for now.

It’s where Chavez launched his February 4, 1992 revolt against neoliberal harshness. Years later he succeeded.

Regional leaders paid their last respects. Acting President Nicolas Maduro said:

“Mission accomplished Comandante! Fully accomplished: with pain, with sacrifice, not even sickness stopping him. Nothing stopped him, and no one is going to stop our people.”

Viva Chavez! Millions of Venezuelans resolve never to let his legacy die. They’re courageous. They’ll put their bodies on the line to assure it.

Of course, you hear the government and media lap-dogs demonize and denigrate Chavez. That is to be expected. However, when the likes of Alex Jones and Mike Rogers (Alex’s lapdog) come out spewing the same rhetoric that the government and media vomits (Chavez was a tyrant and Fascist Socialist, etc), does that not make you question their motive and purpose? Just like their other disinformation that has many of you brainwashed, when has the government and official sources ever told you the truth?

So, you disbelieve ALMOST everything they tell you, but this, you believe? The fact is that they lie to you about EVERYTHING.

By virtually every metric, Chavez and the Bolivarian movement (now embraced by the mass majority of Venezuelans)  has been FOR the people and NOT for giant corporations. Now, why in hell would you not want something similar for the people of America? What idiotic thought process does it take for you to continue being ripped off and your life made a living hell by believing and supporting what the government and lying media tells you, compared to what has been achieved in Venezuela?

What, you don’t want better education? Life expectancy? True participatory democracy? True “free-speech”?

How many of you can honestly argue that our government is not terrorists?

Of course it is so much bigger than Iran. The Empire’s lust for Iran is really as much of a side issue as anything else. The real enemies in our sights are much bigger and badder.

Even out former elected officials are saying such (according to Washington’s Blog). Lt. Gen William Odom said:

Because the United States itself has a long record of supporting terrorists and using terrorist tactics, the slogans of today’s war on terrorism merely makes the United States look hypocritical to the rest of the world.

To have any American insist that we are not an Empire or that we are justified in what we do because we are America (or whatever insane idea you might have), if you simply put the shoe on the other foot, you will quickly notice how hypocritical that notion is. We would never allow anyone to tell us what to do and how to act (except when it comes to the bidding of Israel). It is worldwide and don’t think for a second that our neighbors won’t be getting some soon.

Steve Lendman explains that Chavez is next on our side of the world:

Just read thru the list of accusations that America has sided Venezuela with and I challenge you to see if these accusations are really us looking at a mirror. The fact is that no matter how much the MSM and the criminals in charge of our politics tell us how bad Chavez and Venezuela is, the truth is that America is the world’s only real threat. We would do good to emulate what Venezuelans have done over the past decade.

In highlighting Venezuela’s Constitution, Steve lets us know what the agenda for that true, democratic country (as opposed to the Fascist state we live in) is. Maybe we should change ours, since the criminals have now made it basically null and void. we could start with their preamble:

Its Preamble “establish(ed) a democratic, participatory and self-reliant, multiethnic and multicultural society in a just, federal and decentralized State that embodies the values of freedom, independence, peace, solidarity, the common good, the nation’s territorial integrity, comity and the rule of law for this and future generations.”

It also “guarantees the right to life, work, learning, education, social justice and equality, without discrimination or subordination of any kind; promotes peaceful cooperation among nations and further strengthens Latin American integration in accordance with the principle of nonintervention and national self-determination of the people, the universal and indivisible guarantee of human rights, the democratization of imitational society, nuclear disarmament, ecological balance and environmental resources as the common and inalienable heritage of humanity….”

Sounds to me that Obama (or any of the current criminal elite) could learn something from these people.

We’ve been told by the maniacs and murderers that the towel heads hate us for our freedoms and want to stop freedom from occurring in America. At least, this is one of many reasons for the American Empire given to the stooges who still believe the bullshit.

So, who in the world “loves us” for those very same freedoms?

How many Iraqis do you think love us and our brand of “freedom”? Afghanis? Libyans? Egyptians? Iranians? Chinese? Russians? Others dominated by the “Empire of Freedom” (which includes what turns out to be the entire globe, with just a handful of exceptions, including Israel)?

I used to be patriotic. I used to believe the crap. Then I truly began to pay attention and saw the lie almost immediately. So, why aren’t you paying attention?

Exactly.  Essentially, drugs are as if they were legal in the entertainment  industry and the music business.  If you want to see what would happen to the  general population under drug legalization, just look at those two  industries.

You Prohibitionists dance hand in hand with every possible type of criminal  one can imagine.

An unholy alliance of ignorance, greed and hate which works to destroy all  our hard fought freedoms, wealth and security.

We will always have adults who are too immature to responsibly deal with  tobacco alcohol, heroin amphetamines, cocaine, various prescription drugs and  even food. Our answer to them should always be: “Get a Nanny, and stop turning  the government into one for the rest of us!”

Nobody wants to see an end to prohibition because they want to use drugs.  They wish to see proper legalized regulation because they are witnessing, on a  daily basis, the dangers and futility of prohibition. ‘Legalized Regulation’  won’t be the complete answer to all our drug problems, but it’ll greatly  ameliorate the crime and violence on our streets, and only then can we provide  effective education and treatment.

The whole nonsense of ‘a disaster will happen if we end prohibition’  sentiment sums up the delusional ‘chicken little’ stance of those who foolishly  insist on continuing down this blind alley. As if a disaster isn’t already  happening. As if prohibition has ever worked.

To support prohibition is such a strange mind-set. In fact, It’s outrageous  insanity!  –Literally not one prohibitionist argument survives scrutiny. Not  one!

The only people that believe prohibition is working are the ones making a  living by enforcing laws in it’s name, and those amassing huge fortunes on the  black market profits. This situation is wholly unsustainable, and as history has  shown us, conditions will continue to deteriorate until we finally, just like  our forefathers, see sense and revert back to tried and tested methods of  regulation. None of these substances, legal or illegal, are ever going to go  away, but we CAN decide to implement policies that do far more good than  harm.

During alcohol prohibition in the 1920s, all profits went to enrich thugs and  criminals. Young men died every day on inner-city streets while battling over  turf. A fortune was wasted on enforcement that could have gone on treatment. On  top of the budget-busting prosecution and incarceration costs, billions in taxes  were lost. Finally the economy collapsed. Sound familiar?

So should the safety and freedom of the rest of us be compromised because of  the few who cannot control themselves?

Many of us no longer think it should!

Been doing a lot of poking around the drug war blogs. What I’m seeing isn’t good. Its happening just as I told folks it would back when the med pot question ramped up.I kept tell folks.”Ya, start you dispensaries. Put your names on lists as med patients. Down the road when things are ripe, the Feds WILL come down on everyone getting involved. They will have your names and numbers.” well…here we are….they are cracking down. But they don’t care about people like Korn Likker or my family members and friends. The facts are out there that show our government has lied and continues to lie about cannabis. It doesn’t matter. McCarthyism and Jim Crow are standing tall these days.

Conduct an immediate, independent investigation of 911 (all facets leading up to and after the event). Any person or organization found to have lied, misrepresented, or hid facts revolving what happened on that fateful day should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (members of the 911 Commission, Zelikow, Bush Admin officials, etc)

“Think Tanks” and other Elitist organizations with obvious blood lust as their mantra should be dismantled and those people held to scrutiny of truth by the American public. End the “War on Drugs” immediately

End The Empire immediately

End all of wars – Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… and all proxy wars, coup attempts, and assassinations

Eliminate all off shore military (Empire) bases and bring each and every military personnel home

Eliminate all over-seas money (especially to Israel)

Allow all “Too-Big-To-Fail” banks/corporations to fail like the rest of us when we over-extend or bet away our security.

Abolish Corporate person-hood.

Never vote for a Republican or Democrat (nor any defectors from these parties when we clean house)

Re-balance the power structure of the US Government (Executive power has been increased to dictatorial levels, but to the demise of the congressional power. There should be no presidential “signing statements”. )

Enact campaign finance laws taking corporate money out of elections (heavily scrutinize and hold accountable donations sent to congress people who cater to the whims of that industry: ie; Marsha Blackburn’s heavy telecom money influences her votes regarding legislature that affects them).

Have Term Limits and use a proportional voting system (shorten Senator terms to 4 years and increase Congressional seats to 4)

Minimize congressional pay, retirement and medical benefits (none of these millionaires have done anything to deserve these huge benefits and payouts for the rest of their lives). This should be an honor to serve and no enriching, lifelong career move.

Disallow wives and family members from active participation in congressional matters (example: Max Baucus’ wife). Obvious conflict of interest.

Disallow insider trading of Congressmen (the Congress has 50 times more millionaires than regular citizens, per capita). These people can get inside information and buy/sell stocks. For you or I, this is illegal. For them, its enriching.

Stop the revolving doors of industry/government. Want to know why regulators don’t regulate? Their next employer (the one they are supposed to watch) won’t like it. Look no further than this devil to see why there needs to be no revolving doors (he is responsible for the Patriot Act, much of the Homeland Security apparatus, and untold other secret initiatives AND is an Israeli dual citizen… see next point).

Do not allow dual citizenship personnel to be in our government (there is but one allegiance to as an elected official in America and that is to AMERICA, not Israel, nor any OTHER country). Frankly, as opposed to the Senators who don’t even question such things, I don’t trust anyone who shows allegiance to two different masters. For such devotees can only hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other (Matt 6:24). They certainly cannot be trusted. Period.

Stop all foreign campaign finance and strongarming by lobbying groups whose allegiance is to another country (AIPAC, as an example). What a Zionist wants for America is NOT what is BEST for America, but is BEST for Israel and their world take-over agenda.

Mandatory disclosure of ALL personal information when running for elected office with exclusion and/or prosecution for those who refuse (never allow a dead beat draft dodger or Kenyan with a Connecticut birth certificate… having never actually lived in Connecticut… become leaders of this country).

Audit the FED… hold the thieves accountable… Close the Fed… enact a viable financial system where the government issues currency backed by precious metals (never allow a fiat currency in this country again)

Eliminate the IRS.

Eliminate personal and corporate income tax.

Eliminate the estate (death) tax.

Abolish Obama Care… implement Single Payer, Not-For-Profit healthcare. (Get the middle man insurance companies out of it.)

Immediately reduce Federal spending by 25%, minimum

Eliminate hundreds of unnecessary Federal agencies, including the FDA, Education, Dept of Agriculture, etc (not to mention all the pork and hidden payouts found deep inside bills)

Abolish the Department of Homeland Security and its entire apparatus (especially the TSA)

Repeal the Patriot Act

Prosecute, imprison or execute the ones (including George W Bush) who are responsible for torture to be conducted in our names. Prosecute and imprison any and all presidents who do not hold these murderers accountable, including Barack Obama. Obama, himself, should be held accountable for the murder of American citizens without a trial.

Balance the Budget

Secure our borders, pursue a sane immigration policy

As in, on and off switch

Think about this- They are able to control your access on the internet, what is to stop that from happening via television. Enter ‘The Big Switch’.

Once the all digital television cable network is up and running, they will CONtrol it. What you receive may become location specific, or geo tagged. When they have full control over the entire network you may not even know what is happening on the west coast if you live on the east coast. You may not be able to read or see information from around the globe, which is already happening in many areas.

Worst case scenario: They will control what all 300 million plus Americans will see simultaneously.

Your signal is digital, there will be NO analog signal for you to fall back on to confirm what you are seeing. There will be no communication allowed from one geo location to the other. Under their discretion you will not be able to contact your friend on the west coast from the east coast to confirm if what you are seeing is actually happening on the west coast. With no news from the outside how are you to decide what is true or false. How will you know if the attack on America soil is real, or just Hollywood make believe.

The other side of this is, if something were to happen in your area, they will control what information you receive. Will it be the truth? They already CONtrol the information you receive at this very moment. Who’s to say they wont go one step further and Make it. You can expect digital blackouts in your future.

America is a Sucking Vampire

Nothing particular here, just a rant…..

So I laid back for awhile sucking in everything around me, much the way the U.S. seems to be sucking around the world. What, you didn’t know the U.S. sucked ? Well it does. Sure some will say,’ If you dont like it, why dont you leave ?’ This is the typical response to anyone who slams the U.S., but not one I recognize anymore. I mean some think Walmart sucks, and they do. They suck in many ways, but the same people that say they suck still shop there. They didn’t leave. Why? … I’ll tell you …. Because although they suck; what is the alternative ? Going some place else and getting sucked.

Now let us look at some of the way the U.S. sucks.

It sucks at leadership ! We cant really blame those faces we see in charge of the country no more than we can blame the cashier at Walmart for higher prices. It is those faces we don’t see behind the scene causing all the problems. Nothing will change until we the people have had enough, which is something long past due in my eyes. We have covered this before and I want you to dig way down inside and tell me; What will it take for people to stand up and not get sucked anymore ???? Maybe the coming default will do the trick ? If they dont go through with the plan by design this time it wont be long before they do, and when they do we will all be sucked. I have a feeling this is what it will take, when even the rich are sucked; but why ? Many of you are sucked right now while the rich get richer. Why will it take them getting sucked for us to stand up for ourselves. Marketing. Think about that one.

It sucks at jobs ! Which in turn sucks the life blood out of those affected by what … NO JOBS. What is a person to do though; Move to China ? I hear tell it really sucks over there if you’re a regular wage earner. I could be wrong as the only reliable source for this info. comes form our own propaganda machine. For all I know we are China and China is the U.S., which isn’t that far fetched. China is the new America and soon … uh wait a minute … not soon, China is already sucking, Sucking jobs from Americans who want to work. One of may sucky sukcy for five bucky the Chinese have performed over the past decade. Of course none of this is China’s fault, this is all by design by those ‘evil banker bastards’ behind the scene, much the same as those … wait .. They are the same ones behind the downfall of America.

It Sucks at Recovery Which some of us knew wasn’t in the plans. If anything the plan is for America to go down and sucky sucky for five bucky, or was that 15 Trillion. That figure is if they dont raise the debt ceiling, if they do, your great great great grandchildren will be paying it off. Back to if they dont raise the debt limit …. well much like many have lost their jobs, homes, and cars, so shall Miss America. There is no alternative other than the two. Remember though, this is by design as well.

It sucks at Secure Borders Which between Wars and Illegal Immigration has damn near sucked us dry. I tend to think if either of these things did not occur, we as a county would be better off. We know that wars cost a fortune. Many dont see Illegal Immigration as costing anything though. It does ! It has cost many their jobs, which in turn has cost them everything. Much like China sucking off jobs from America, so has illegal immigration. But, but you say, they only take jobs Americans wont do. Liar liar pants on fire quit repeating the propaganda. That’s what it is, purely propaganda bullshit. You were told this so you would remain calm and secure in your job that would soon be cut. Sure it wasn’t directly the illegal immigrant that sucked your job, but with so many Americans out of work due to the illegal invasion no one had any money to buy shit, which in turn lead to down-sizing where you worked or even off-shoring to China. It’s all the illegal aliens fault. Not really, but they played a bigger part than most see.

It sucks at War Not really because no one wins a war, so all sides suck, not just America. Speaking of war[s], you do know this is what brought down the last superpower; right ? Same theater of battle will yield the same results for America. This is all and has been planned for years. Granted the war in Iraq is about over along with the one in Afghanistan, but there will be another one. You know who the target is right ? That’s right, IRAN. When this war starts from some false flag operation, combined with America’s default, that will be the finial nail in Miss America’s coffin. You know as well as I that an attack on Iran has been on the books before we attacked Iraq because Saddam used weapons he bought form us on his own people. What … you thought it was because Iraq had something to do with 9/11 ? WRONG, those were lies to get us there. The story was change later to the aforementioned.

War Crimes Is What America Is All About

There are “principles” and then there are “logistics”.

In principle, the war criminals should be held accountable (as were the Nazis and Japanese, to some extent), but logistically there are so many American criminals that we can’t do it.

Another Name On The Wall

My Dad, the “Old Soldier” wasted much of his life in the tours he did in Vietnam. It rendered him incapable of clear thought and propagandized him into believing that America’s leaders could and would do no harm (unless, of course, they were Democrats). When I pointedly asked him if he thought that George W Bush would lie (in regards to the Iraq War), he relied, “I do not believe my Commander-in-Chief would ever lie to me.”

It was one of the most idiotic things this seemingly smart man could have ever said. It showed me that intelligence can be thwarted and that some people would desperately do or say ANYTHING to keep from thinking logically or make it impossible for some to see the obviousness of his delusion. Does he even know that the Gulf of Tomkin incident NEVER happened. That the one thing that dragged us into that war that turned his brain into mush was a bald faced lie?

I have been to The Wall in DC with him and witnessed him sob over the ones that didn’t come home. I have been in the theater with him when he saw “We Were Soldiers” and hugged him as the atrocities played out in what he called the most real portrayal he had ever imagined. How we spent the trip home discussing the movie and how it helped him open up and tell many of the horror stories he had lived while in country.

I have been very cautious about blaming the grunts and calling them out for their participation in these latest illegal and immoral wars. Many are hoodwinked into believing the lies… many others see no other way to support their families and are forced to do so, just to make it. But, I have a personal stake in this that transcends all the others who have been duped or forced into conscription.

Old man, it is YOU that could make a difference. It is YOUR type that could stand up and begin to tell the truth.

Until you do, you are nothing but a contributer to the ongoing killings. Until you do, you are instrumental in the never-ending wars and the deaths of those that followed in your footsteps.

Old Soldier, it is time you and the rest of you brain-washed assholes start to raise your voices in anger and hold the cabal in account. It is time.

Until you do, you are a coward and a fool who will never obtain my respect.

Captain Nivens, I call you out for your insouciance, lack of character and your drunken stupor that has kept you from saying what you know is true and has allowed you to keep silent as those brave young men fight and die in bogus and corrupt wars of profit and Empire.

When Hypocrites Pray

As I was reading my morning news/blog feed I found a great post done by Greg at the Goon Squad called “Maybe This World Is Another Planet’s Hell“. It contains several quotes that reference the insouciance of Sheople, in general, and points out the obvious truth that it is the highly insane who run things. Greg credits My Favorite Quotes – Insanity for many (maybe all) of the quotes. The entire post is really good and I recommend it highly. It truly expresses my same rage and misunderstanding of why Americans are so incredulous about how they are used to finance the evils of corrupt and murderous freaks, all-the-while keeping their mouths shut (For WHAT? in hopes of getting a good missile building job???).

I have hinted at the hypocrisy I have witnessed from those who gain from this Military Industrial Complex, protected by their chosen job (which will be there as long as the Empire exists). Those friends are not alone for there are others, calling themselves  “loving Christians” (at least when it comes to white Americans with a similar political stance), that defy logic and rational thought when considering their claimed beliefs compared to what they (willingly or not) support that defies that very belief. I wonder what it takes to make the jump with one’s personal understanding of the Christian concepts of love, peace, joy, long-suffering, etc, to being able to believe , support and SPREAD the lies that kill so many innocent people (especially the children… MOST especially because we are Killing Innocent People For “Made-Up Crap”), defying those very concepts?

Imagine if, an hour from now, a robot-plane swooped over your house and blasted it to pieces. The plane has no pilot. It is controlled with a joystick from 7,000 miles away, sent by the Pakistani military to kill you. It blows up all the houses in your street, and so barbecues your family and your neighbours until there is nothing left to bury but a few charred slops. Why? They refuse to comment. They don’t even admit the robot-planes belong to them. But they tell the Pakistani newspapers back home it is because one of you was planning to attack Pakistan. How do they know? Somebody told them. Who? You don’t know, and there are no appeals against the robot.

Now imagine it doesn’t end there: these attacks are happening every week somewhere in your country. They blow up funerals and family dinners and children. The number of robot-planes in the sky is increasing every week. You discover they are named “Predators”, or “Reapers” – after the Grim Reaper. No matter how much you plead, no matter how much you make it clear you are a peaceful civilian getting on with your life, it won’t stop. What do you do? If there was a group arguing that Pakistan was an evil nation that deserved to be violently attacked, would you now start to listen?

We have had the peanut gallery of Christianity support the murderers and belittle the peace lovers to an extent that I don’t even recognize Christ in America’s Christianity any more. From every appearance, we are really just a Jewish extension of the War God they seem to emulate and follow (or, at least what their Zionist controllers worship). We have allowed the religious fools “leaders” like John (The Snapper) Hagee , Jerry (“married to a prostitute“)Falwell, Pat (“diamonds are a preacher’s best friend“) Robertson, and no telling how many wannabes of them spread all throughout America, to equate their end times fear rhetoric with their never-ending support of Zionism (under the guise of The Rapture).

Sickening that so many could be duped so badly, but that, in essence is exactly what today’s American Christianity has become… duped by charlatans that openly DEFY the teachings of Christ, using His name as they do so. (I know, I know… “You’re Church isn’t like that!”)

Yeah, right.

If it isn’t, it is either you don’t realize it or it will be soon. They all end up that way. It is all human run. That is what humans do… screw up the things of God and make a man-made kingdom with a God in their likeness (not the other way around). Organized religion is the scourge of the Earth. Individual believers are not.

Back to Greg’s post, he references Mark Twain’s “War Prayer” and the history behind it. It occurred to me that many of my friends, relatives and others may have never read or heard this before and I think it is one of Twain’s best works (it apparently was so revolutionary that he was afraid to publish it until after his death, which for Twain was incredible within itself). He felt that his family would be in danger if he published it sooner:

It was a time of great and exalting excitement. The country was up in arms, the war was on, in every breast burned the holy fire of patriotism; the drums were beating, the bands playing, the toy pistols popping, the bunched firecrackers hissing and spluttering; on every hand and far down the receding and fading spread of roofs and balconies a fluttering wilderness of flags flashed in the sun; daily the young volunteers marched down the wide avenue gay and fine in their new uniforms, the proud fathers and mothers and sisters and sweethearts cheering them with voices choked with happy emotion as they swung by; nightly the packed mass meetings listened, panting, to patriot oratory which stirred the deepest deeps of their hearts, and which they interrupted at briefest intervals with cyclones of applause, the tears running down their cheeks the while; in the churches the pastors preached devotion to flag and country, and invoked the God of Battles beseeching His aid in our good cause in outpourings of fervid eloquence which moved every listener. It was indeed a glad and gracious time, and the half dozen rash spirits that ventured to disapprove of the war and cast a doubt upon its righteousness straightway got such a stern and angry warning that for their personal safety’s sake they quickly shrank out of sight and offended no more in that way….

Mark Twain’s ‘War Prayer’

It isn’t very long and is wonderful.

Now, back in 2001, just after the “attacks” on the WTC, my small community had a candle light vigil at the city park (I may have referenced this here before, I dunno). There were many churches gathered (perhaps the biggest crowd I have ever witnessed at this small park). Several hundreds of people, anyway. As is the case with most of these types of events, we had the preening banty rooster preachers falling all over themselves to offer the best “War Prayer”. It was evident immediately, that the war bandwagon was assembled and all of these “leaders” were on it and insisting that their “flocks” get on board, too.

I have never heard such “protect America”, “provide vengeance” rhetoric in my whole life. The entire time (HOURS) I was standing there and I kept waiting for it: for the prayer that Jesus demanded from His followers to pray for our enemies. I waited and waited and all I heard was the same old America Number 1 crap and that we needed to get back at those Muslims/Terrorists/Murderers.

I even waited as my preacher got up there to give his prayer and it didn’t happen. No One would pray for the enemies.

Now, I thought this to be very strange at the time, because I was under the impression that Christians actually did and preached what Christ told them to do and preach. I was an “assistant pastor” (yes, egad) and well-studied in the Bible (many translations and an extremely in-depth study of the original languages), so I thought that anyone and everyone would believe that the Prince of Peace, you know, actually PREFERRED peace over war. How stupid I must have been.

So, me and my radicalism decided that it would be ME to finally do it.

You could have cut the tension with a knife when I was finished (about a 45 second prayer, consisting of, basically, “Lord, you changed me, so why can’t you change them” type of prayer). To bring peace and harmony to the evil-doers (this, at a time that I still believed the “official story” about how those evil Muslims killed so many of out wonderful, Christian people…).

And, what gets me most today, after all these years, is that these very same Christian types still hold the same hatred towards people who had little or nothing to do with that event.

Those Muslims DID NOT demolish those buildings with the obvious demolitions that were used. But us wonderfully, loving Christians of America don’t seem to care one way or another. They could have told us that it was the Smurfs attacking us and we would gladly arm the Nuke ourselves.

It is the most difficult thing for me to understand about my fellow Christian citizens.

On a personal note: there is a company locally that does this sort of drone stuff. I have family members who seem put out that I won’t go “talk to them” about a job. But how in the hell can I? How can I become what I preach against? How could I let myself become one of the ones that are willing to ignore or defy what they believe, just to make a buck?

But that is what it is becoming in America, folks? If you want to excel, hard work doesn’t do it for you any more. You must be “smart” enough to “get on board” with the system. You MUST drop any illusion to actually mimicking the one that you use in Name, but deny in character and understanding, and join the bomb makers to “save lives” (as I was corrected the other day when I told my father-in-law that I couldn’t work for people who were killing innocent children).

You see, we must kill those little towel headed children to be able to say we save our kids lives.
