Blood and Oil: The Carter Doctrine

Posted by buelahman on June 6, 2008

Jimmy Carter: the southern gentleman who is touted as a peaceful, evangelical, Christian president who builds homes for the less able. But was there a dark side that his lovable persona covered up?

The US control of the ME resources goes back decades (almost 100 years). We have never stopped telling that part of the world what to do with their shit… insisting that their oil is related to our national security, when in fact, it is simply related to Big Money and Big Oil’s interests and profits. Alternative fuel sources have been noted and available, just never pursued as they should have been.

Yes, we may still try to control the world by having bases in the area (Bush trying to force 50 bases in Iraq alone before leaving office… tying the hands of whomever is elected next). But the real deal is so simple by following the money.

We have had ample time to wean ourselves off of the petro-chemical stronghold, but as long as Big Money controls our government and elected officials, we will continue to steal and use the stuff, because they have slowed (damn near stopped) any alternative solutions. So, again, the Japanese lead us into the new realms of electric vehicles, while we still demand the rest of the world to give us their shit while we spend more and more for Big Oil’s profits.

This is not brain surgery, people. This is Capitalism that has taken over our government (or, more aptly, fascism).

Impeachment of the criminals is off-the-table for the same rationale. Most of the bastards (Dem and THUG) are complicit. Pelosi, Reid… almost all of them. They are tied to the profits.

History is so easily forgotten when we have an maniac running things. But, we need to remember all of those who have created and perpetuated this idiotic philosophy our government is running on and do something to take it back before all is ruined forever. I don’t think that most rednecks understand how close to ruin we are.

Now we have Mr Change going even further right to appease whom? To appease the Progressives who got him here? Of course not. To win the election? For sure. But, always follow the money and influence. Is there any wonder that AIPAC and those Israeli lobbies have so much control, when they can arrange donations from “individuals” in block? The fact is (sadly noted) that without their support, these candidates feel like they cannot win the election. What I don’t understand is why we allow it when the polls in both America and Israel are suggesting the citizens want more diplomacy, yet the neocon idiots keep trying to force anything BUT diplomacy.

More bombs = more oil = more money = more control of the region/world

Imperialism at its deadliest.

Unanswered 9/11 Questions and how the MSM doesn’t want to talk about it

Posted by buelahman on May 19, 2008

B’Man: I was thinking about the subject matter this morning when I found what Ed from Not Another CONspiracy had posted this morning:

19 May 2008

Unanswered 9/11 questions

The MSM wont allow you to read or hear of this in the USA.

In this what is now being Called an ‘Opinion’ piece, you will find ‘Opinions’ of others linked within. This isn’t the first report of this type and I suspect it will not be the last, until the Truth Finally is Revealed. Like the JFK Assassination, we may never know the Real Truth.

After almost 7 years you still believe what the Bush administration has spewed forth as the True reasons for the Collapse of the World Trade Centers building 1,2 and 7, you have no Common Sense. Yes I know Towers 1&2 were hit by Jets, Building 7 wasn’t. Yes I know there was Fire in Building 7, and I also know this was the First time in history Fire brought Down a Steel Frame building.

Get past the Jet part and use some common sense. The jets were like a Magicians slight of hand. The were used to distract you from Seeing the truth of what was really happening. Go read the below. Go read and view all the links within the report. If after you have done all this and still believe the Official STORY, go back to sleep because you are dreaming.

ABC Australia: Unanswered 9/11 questions: The collapse of New York’s World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001 is arguably one of the most well documented events in human history. Less well documented is the controversy over why the buildings fell as they did.

B’Man: Even some of the most stalwart progressive writers and celebrities write off 9/11 conspiracy theorists as idiotic, ignorant, fruitcakes, etc. Questioning ANYONE who questions whether or not someone within our government could or would conduct such an atrocity on its own soil. Matt Taibbi (someone I normally love to read) takes extra time to belittle anyone who suspects these monsters of such a thing (claiming they are too inept to carry it out). Bill Maher (another great progressive on many issues) takes time to belittle anyone that questions the neocons on this subject (but he has no problem finding any other subject to attack them on).

I am not sure why this is. Could it be because they haven’t taken any time to see the investigative reports and videos I have combed through for years. Have they conducted any research, whatsoever, that can give them reason to simply brush off what seems so apparent to many people? What would be their motivation to NOT look deeper… to simply agree with the meme that our government “wouldn’t” or doesn’t have the intelligence or wherewithal to do something like it?

How can they simply brush off all the detail and analysis with such abandon?

I can somewhat understand the basic MSM aversion to it, but these guys who normally are all over any mediocre sex or money conspiracy? Something isn’t right.

B’Man’s Patriot Watch: Wexler and Siegelman

Posted by buelahman on May 16, 2008

Dear Rednecks,

Last night, I appeared on MSNBC’s Verdict with Dan Abrams to discuss Karl Rove’s outrageous refusal to appear before Congress regarding serious allegations that he used the US Justice Department to take down a prominent Democratic politician. It is alleged that Mr. Rove personally instigated the prosecution of former Alabama Governor Don Siegleman.  The case has been criticized by legal experts, and 52 former state attorney generals – both Republicans and Democrats – have criticized the case and called for an investigation. (You may view the clip here.)

If Rove refuses to testify voluntarily and ignores the subpoenas that will certainly be issued, he should be held in Inherent Contempt of the House of Representatives.

No American is above the law.  None of us should be able to ignore Congress without consequence.
If Mr. Rove ignores a subpoena from the Judiciary Committee, then the House of Representatives should pass an Inherent Contempt citation and exercise our right to send the House Sergeant-of-Arms to gather Mr. Rove and bring him before Congress to testify.

I do not advocate this option lightly, but the reality is that Congress has few options left against an Administration that totally refuses to submit to any type of reasonable Congressional oversight.  Congress has both the right and obligation to investigate these matters.  Never before has an Executive so upset the checks and balances inherent in our Constitution.  If we back off or delay, we effectively forfeit the power of Congress to investigate the Executive branch.

Rove is not the first White House official to ignore Congress.  We have seen a pattern of refusals based on laughable claims of executive privilege. First, White House Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten and former White House Counsel Harriet Miers ignored subpoenas on the investigation into the firing of US Attorney Generals for partisan political motives.

Their refusal to testify was unprecedented:  never before have executive officials totally refused to even show up before Congress.  Bolten and Miers are the highest officials ever held in contempt of Congress.  Unfortunately, Attorney General Mukasey – in a dereliction of duty – has refused to enforce the contempt decree and now Congress is suing them in District Court to demand compliance.  Then, the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, David Addington, refused to testify on the investigation into the Bush Administration’s ordering of torture.  Now, Rove continues this executive arrogance by also refusing to testify.

Enough is enough.  We have a Constitutional obligation to provide accountability to a White House that is trying usurp the constitutional powers of Congress.

These are the very reasons why I have been pushing for impeachment hearings for Vice President Cheney.  The Bush Administration has been running roughshod over the Constitution for eight long years.  We should not allow the promise of a positive election be used as an excuse to ignore our duty to investigate crimes that weaken the very fabric of our Democracy.

I thank you again for your commitment to the causes that we hold so dear.

With warm regards,

Congressman Robert Wexler

DONATE

B’Man: I don’t use the word “patriot” lightly. Wexler, no matter what you think of his other policies, is definitely doing EXACTLY what his duties call for him to do. There are other Dems who, for whatever political expediency that keeps them from joining in on their sworn duties, as well, are in need of a quick wake-up kick to the ass. Even if it kicks their sorry asses to the curb next election.

It is high time that these people do what is right and what is their duty as sworn officials.

Also, Mr Siegleman has gotten screwed on this deal. It is a wonder his life isn’t totally ruined by these neocon, Bushie water-carrying, crooks. I hope and pray they all are finally held accountable and jailed for their law-breaking. You can help. Get involved.

B’Man’s Sabbath Watch: “The Family”

Posted by buelahman on May 11, 2008

The Family: Hillary Clinton’s fascist spiritual guide

There’s a reason why Hillary Clinton has remained relatively silent during the flap over intemperate remarks by Barack Obama’s former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. When it comes to unsavory religious affiliations, she’s a lot more vulnerable than Obama.

You can find all about it in a widely under-read article in the September 2007 issue of Mother Jones, in which Kathryn Joyce and Jeff Sharlet reported that “through all of her years in Washington, Clinton has been an active participant in conservative Bible study and prayer circles that are part of a secretive Capitol Hill group known as the “Fellowship,” aka The Family. But it won’t be a secret much longer. Jeff Sharlet’s shocking exposé, The Family: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power will be published in May.

Sean Hannity has called Obama’s church a “cult,” but that term applies far more aptly to Clinton’s “Family,” which is organized into “cells” — their term — and operates sex-segregated group homes for young people in northern Virginia. In 2002, writer Jeff Sharlet joined the Family’s home for young men, foreswearing sex, drugs, and alcohol, and participating in endless discussions of Jesus and power. He wasn’t undercover; he used his own name and admitted to being a writer. But he wasn’t completely out of danger either. When he went outdoors one night to make a cell phone call, he was followed. He still gets calls from Family associates asking him to meet them in diners — alone.

The Family’s most visible activity is its blandly innocuous National Prayer Breakfast, held every February in Washington. But almost all its real work goes on behind the scenes — knitting together international networks of rightwing leaders, most of them ostensibly Christian. In the 1940s, The Family reached out to former and not-so-former Nazis, and its fascination with that exemplary leader, Adolph Hitler, has continued, along with ties to a whole bestiary of murderous thugs. As Sharlet reported in Harper’s in 2003:

During the 1960s the Family forged relationships between the U.S. government and some of the most anti-Communist (and dictatorial) elements within Africa’s postcolonial leadership. The Brazilian dictator General Costa e Silva, with Family support, was overseeing regular fellowship groups for Latin American leaders, while, in Indonesia, General Suharto (whose tally of several hundred thousand “Communists” killed marks him as one of the century’s most murderous dictators) was presiding over a group of fifty Indonesian legislators. During the Reagan Administration the Family helped build friendships between the U.S. government and men such as Salvadoran general Carlos Eugenios Vides Casanova, convicted by a Florida jury of the torture of thousands, and Honduran general Gustavo Alvarez Martinez, himself an evangelical minister, who was linked to both the CIA and death squads before his own demise.

At the heart of the Family’s American branch is a collection of powerful rightwing politicos, who include, or have included, Sam Brownback, Ed Meese, John Ashcroft, James Inhofe, and Rick Santorum. They get to use the Family’s spacious estate on the Potomac, the Cedars, which is maintained by young men in Family group homes and where meals are served by the Family’s young women’s group. And, at the Family’s frequent prayer gatherings, they get powerful jolts of spiritual refreshment, tailored to the already-powerful.

Clinton fell in with the Family in 1993, when she joined a Bible study group composed of wives of conservative leaders like Jack Kemp and James Baker. When she ascended to the senate, she was promoted to what Sharlet calls the Family’s “most elite cell,” the weekly Senate Prayer Breakfast, which included, until his downfall, Virginia’s notoriously racist Senator George Allen. This has not been a casual connection for Clinton. She has written of Doug Coe, the Family’s publicity-averse leader, that he is “a unique presence in Washington: a genuinely loving spiritual mentor and guide to anyone, regardless of party or faith, who wants to deepen his or her relationship with God.”

Furthermore, the Family takes credit for some of Clinton’s rightward legislative tendencies, including her support for a law guaranteeing “religious freedom” in the workplace, such as for pharmacists who refuse to fill birth control prescriptions and police officers who refuse to guard abortion clinics. …

B’Man’s Sabbath Watch: Ben Stein

Posted by buelahman on May 4, 2008

Ben is praying for you and wants the best… the best means sending nuclear weapons to kill thousands… but, let us now focus on the bad stuff. We got ‘Murican Pride.

In this episode Ben Stein is again taken to task over his mindless spin doctoring (not dissimilar to his ‘universities are fortresses of nonsense’ line), most annoyingly his statement that ’science leads to killing people’. What I find most disturbing is that the Christian audience and host were seemly un-phased by this opinion. Have they no sense of perspective?

Add this to steins scaremongering/warmongering where he is arguing that the US military which constitutes about 50% of the military spending of the world is grossly inadequate and ‘worn down to the nub’.

As The Military Industrial Complex Profits Soar… REAL Jobs Are Lost

Posted by buelahman on April 28, 2008

Layoffs hit hard across Southeast Tennessee, North Georgia

By: Cliff Hightower

…Companies across Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia like Huber Engineered Woods; Whirlpool in Cleveland, Tenn.; and Mount Vernon Mills in Trion, Ga., have laid off hundreds of workers in the last three months, federal records show.

Even federal statistics might not tell the whole story because industries or businesses that employ 50 people or fewer are not mandated to report layoffs, officials said.

“You can go into some of the small businesses in Dalton and see that their jobs are reduced,” said Kathy Williams, employer marketing representative for the Georgia Department of Labor in Dalton, Ga. “People are trying to do with the minimal.”

Most of those layoffs have occurred in industries that deal with the housing market, records show. Slumping home construction has lessened demand for wallboard, carpet, appliances and other products, experts said.

Other losses came in the textile industry, where jobs have been moving overseas for years to take advantage of lower labor costs.

UNEMPLOYMENT RISING

Unemployment rates have risen over the last year and in some counties have almost doubled from the previous year, records show.

The unemployment rate for Catoosa, Dade and Walker counties rose from 3.5 percent in March 2007 to 6.5 percent in March 2008, said Patrick Todd, labor market analyst for the Tennessee Department of Labor’s Chattanooga Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Chattanooga MSA comprises those Georgia counties plus Hamilton, Marion and Sequatchie counties in Southeast Tennessee.

Unemployment in Whitfield County, Ga., went from 4.3 percent in March 2007 to 6.3 percent this March, federal records show.

March jobless rates jumped in McMinn County, Tenn., to 7.9 percent, up from 5.1 percent the previous year. In Meigs County, Tenn., the rate rose from 6.5 percent to 8.1 percent in the same period.

In Sequatchie County, Tenn., March jobless rates rose from 6.6 percent to 7.8 percent.

“What we’re seeing is a lot of counties are higher than a year ago,” said Larry Green, labor market analyst for the Tennessee Department of Labor. “Everybody is having trouble in manufacturing across the board.”

In McMinn County, Collins & Aikman, a company that sewed automobile upholstery, laid off almost 500 workers last year, records show. Whirlpool laid off 355 employees in Cleveland, Tenn., last month, and Mohawk Industries in Dalton told 66 workers in February they were no longer employed, records show.

Layoffs in smaller counties can be a shock to the entire community, Mr. Green said.

“There’s a lot of counties solely dependent on one or two manufacturers, and if they close, they are in trouble,” he said.

Jack Hammontree, director of the McMinn Economic Development Authority, said county officials are hoping for another employer to take over the former Collins & Aikman plant.

But in tough economic times, that might be hard to achieve, he said.

“It’s always difficult to recruit,” he said. “But it’s more difficult. The companies are thinking less about expanding.”

SEEKING RETRAINING

Some people who lose their jobs go back to school and learn different skills.

Scott Spears, of Trion was among 250 workers laid off from Mount Vernon Mills in Chattooga County, Ga., in January.

Mr. Spears enrolled at Northwestern Technical College in Rock Spring, Ga.

He can draw unemployment while he’s enrolled, and he gets money for school books, gas and food through the federal Workforce Investment Act.

He said he hopes the economy will be better by the time he’s through with his two-year degree in industrial control systems.

“That’s what I’m hoping,” he said.

Susan Doesburg, WIA assistant coordinator at Northwestern, said the most popular programs are nursing, electrical and heating and air conditioning. She said enrollment has increased because of layoffs. School officials said WIA enrollment averages 15 students a quarter, but 60 students enrolled this quarter.

Mrs. Doesburg said those students are using resources at a fast clip, and she’s worried how much help Northwestern can give to victims of future layoffs.

“Due to this increase, WIA funds are now limited,” she said.

Joyce Carrier, dean of the school of technology at Dalton State College, said she expects enrollment to jump in the fall, and perhaps the spring, because of layoffs. Many former employees come hoping the economy will get better once they graduate, she said.

“I think all of us would like to believe that,” Mrs. Carrier said.

B’Man: Look at the bright side. You can always sell shit on EBAY.

Thank Goodness Dawg didn’t go home that weekend.

Seriously, what do these yahoos who are reporting this think they are doing? Scaring us like Big Brother wants them too. Or are they simply gullible rednecks, too?

They even recruited an Engish guy for our Coast Guard unit in the Mississippi River. Thank God for our allies in this war on terror.

The Police State in Action

Posted by buelahman on April 22, 2008

From the Tampa Bay Online (h/t Jonathon Turley):

Megahed, Mohamed Set For Arraignment On New Charges

Published: April 21, 2008

TAMPA - Ahmed Mohamed and Youssef Megahed — the two former University of South Florida students whose legal battle began after their car was pulled over by deputies in South Carolina in August — will be in court this morning for arraignment on charges handed up last week.

The new seven-count indictment adds terrorism and weapons charges against one of the defendants, Mohamed. It includes a new charge against Mohamed and Megahed relating to devices found in the trunk of their car when they were arrested Aug. 4 in South Carolina. It replaces a two-count indictment handed up in 2007.

Experts say the new indictment shows the prosecution trying to ensure success at trial by offering jurors alternative avenues to convict.

Stetson University College of Law professor Charles Rose said that when prosecutors do this, it usually means there is “a weakness in the case they’re shoring up or additional evidence has come their way.”

The indictment, Rose said, “reads to me like a prosecutor has now had an opportunity to develop some additional evidence and has figured how to make it stick.”

“When you look at this indictment, there’s more holes than cheese,” said Jonathan Turley, who teaches at George Washington University Law School and is representing former USF professor Sami Al-Arian in his terrorism case. “The indictment on its face seems to be a bit of overreaching based on the known facts. The indictment presents a far more sinister picture than what has been reported publicly.

“When it comes to explosive devices, the government has a long history of creative engineering theories,” Turley said. “If you take any house, the government can usually make out a case for a potential explosive device based on its contents.”

Some of the new charges against Mohamed are similar to a charge lodged against another former USF student, Karim Moussaoui, who recently was convicted of possessing a firearm in violation of his student visa. The charge, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, relates to an incident in which he visited a Tampa firing range with Megahed and held a gun for 2 1/2 minutes, posing for pictures.

Another Gun Violation Alleged

Prosecutors have alleged that Mohamed, who also is on a student visa, visited the same firing range on another date in July.

Megahed is a legal, permanent resident and is allowed to possess a firearm.

“Moussaoui’s conviction was viewed as laughable by most defense attorneys,” Turley said. “Most prosecutors would never have charged that crime, never mind have forced a trial. The prosecutors are simply trying too hard in these cases to come up with anything that can be viewed as a crime.”

Megahed and Mohamed are scheduled to go on trial April 28 on one of the charges, illegally transporting explosives. Mohamed is scheduled to have a separate trial on a charge he tried to help terrorists by posting on the Internet a video in which he showed how to use a remote-controlled toy to detonate a bomb.

Defense attorneys disagreed about whether the new indictment should affect the trial schedule, with Megahed’s attorney expecting no effect and Mohamed’s saying there should be a delay.

Megahed and Mohamed both are newly charged in the indictment with possessing a destructive device. The new indictment also includes the charge from the previous indictment of transporting explosive materials.

New Terrorist Support Charge

Mohamed also is newly charged with providing material support to terrorists and possessing a pistol and a rifle in violation of visa guidelines. The new indictment also contains the charge in the previous indictment against Mohamed of teaching and demonstrating the use of explosives with the intent to help terrorists.

One new charge against Mohamed accuses him of carrying a destructive device while providing material support to terrorists on Aug. 4, the day of the men’s arrest. Attorneys have said that the video Mohamed is accused of posting on YouTube had been removed by that day.

It’s unclear how prosecutors think Mohamed was helping terrorists on that date. That is the most serious charge in the indictment, carrying up to a life sentence.

Megahed’s attorney, Adam Allen, said the new indictment will have little effect on his client.

The new charge, he said, is the same as the old charge, and both carry a maximum possible penalty of 10 years in federal prison and a minimum of probation.

The new indictment, he said, “shows that after a year of investigation by the FBI, they have absolutely no new evidence of any wrongdoing by my client.”

Reporter Elaine Silvestrini can be reached at (813) 259-7837 or esilvestrini@tampatrib.com.

B’Man: Of course I have no idea whether or not these guys intended to make a bomb and terrorize anyone. But, as with virtually every other case of “terrorism charges” brought out in mass public offerings to scare the masses, this looks quite dubious.

Does this mean that the time I held a fully automatic machine gun, WITH a silencer on it, that I was being a terrorist?

Does it mean that even though I made that last sentence up to try and impress all the female readers, the government would still use it against me to bring about terrorism charges?

This country is under assault from its own.

Big Military’s Take Over of America Illuminated

Posted by buelahman on April 21, 2008

Big Military has a stronghold on this country… to the detriment of us all. We are being forced into a militaristic country and economy, just like the Roman Empire did to its demise. Just as Nazi Germany and The Soviet Union.

Being the world’s only Super Power is costing us everything. But rednecks don’t understand this. I had a good friend brag about the jobs that the military is providing the country while the other manufacturing that has fed him and his family for years is drying up and blowing away. Oblivious, just like Big Business planned for him.

I asked him if he had a job aligned in military once the furniture he has been supporting has completely left for China. No answer.

I monitor the extravagances and business cycle of Big Military and wanted to update those of you who may not know (and especially the lone redneck searcher who may have happened upon this blog):

Defense firms expand in Alabama
Several defense companies are expanding their operations in Huntsville, Ala. Lockheed Martin, for example, grew its work force by 9% in 2007. “From Lockheed Martin’s perspective, we recognize that there is a lot of growth potential here in the community,” said John Holly, top executive for Lockheed Martin Huntsville. Missile Defense: The Attack Dogs Are Warming Up

Posted by buelahman on April 21, 2008

Here it comes. The first of what will prove to be an onslaught of propaganda to turn the American public into even more Sheep-like followers.

We are sending away all of our manufacturing, EXCEPT for defense (and some of that is being outsourced over money). This will be America’s final downfall, for a country cannot survive on military money only. We have too many examples of “fail” in that arena over history.

The Missile Defense Agency has a primer out for what we can expect:

Leading the Greatest Technological Achievement of Our Time

The time for missile defense has arrived. The U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has pioneered the development of airborne lasers, space-based sensor systems, kinetic interceptors and advanced radars. The agency’s global command and control systems are integrating these components into a complex 3-D shield extending hundreds of miles into space and around the globe.

Technology and science can now match the vision of the great pioneering rocket scientists and military to create a truly safe and secure system to protect the free world. To keep that vision moving forward at an ever expanding pace, MDA is constantly seeking to recruit and hire outstanding candidates to serve in an elite corps of engineers, scientists and management professionals.

The U.S.A’s first General of the Air Force, Henry H. “Hap” Arnold, had seen the need for such a system at the end of World War II. An apocryphal story has it that space pioneer Dr. Wernher von Braun himself was dismayed at the prospects of “hitting a bullet with another bullet.” The precision sensor and communication technology necessary for the pinpoint accuracy were still years away. Advances in the past decade, however, on many fronts, from sensors and radars to propulsion and ballistics to sophisticated communications networks, have been turning missile defense into an achievement. In fact, some contend that the achievement even outweighs such engineering landmarks as the Manhattan and Apollo Projects.

Under the direction of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), missile defense is becoming far more than an advanced weapons system. With a purely defensive mandate, MDA is marshaling diverse talents to implement fully a global design that stretches from earth to the reaches of space. These efforts are proceeding quickly. Changing threats continue to multiply, and a prudent path requires a spiral development model, coordinating design, prototypes and testing with actual deployments.

This development model has clear advantages for our engineers and other technical professionals. One can see one’s designs take shape, and learn from experience. Even more important, one can be assured that each day is spent helping to protect the American people and their allies. Such an assurance is a far cry from a dangerous situation that had prevailed for decades.

More at link.

I am not against defending America. For God’s sake, this is on TOP of all the other ‘offensive’ munitions we have. Of course, we should defend America, but after what they have been doing for decades now, telling us lies and spending our tax dollars so idiotically, shouldn’t we question each and every thing they tell us. Treat everything with scrutiny?

Are we still in the mode of undying trust for Bush and his cronies, in lieu of all the horse-shit they have shoveled upon us?

The Fascist Blueprint

Posted by buelahman on April 7, 2008

Naomi Wolf (author of The End of America) lectures on what is happening to America today is EXACTLY what occured in Nazi Germany, Italy, Soviet Union and other fascist states.

What is a Fascist State? Should you be concerned that America is becoming one?

It is happening here… NOW!

From BrassCheckTV:

Mussolini created the blueprint (with inspiration from Lenin), Hitler elaborated on it, Stalin studied Hitler…Here’s how it works (notice how many Bush & Co. is using now.):

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy

2. Create a gulag

3. Develop a thug caste

4. Set up an internal surveillance system

5. Harass citizens’ groups

6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release

7. Target key individuals

8. Control the press

9. Dissent equals treason

10. Suspend the rule of law

Wolf’s conclusion? Impeachment of Bush and Cheney is not enough. Prosecuting (and jailing) them for crimes committed is the only rational solution.

A mother whose two teenage daughters were placed in an orphanage when she fell ill during a post-Christmas shopping trip to New York has been told she is under investigation because her children were taken into care.Yvonne Bray, took her daughters Gemma, 15, and Katie, 13, to New York shortly after Christmas for a shopping trip but was taken into hospital when she fell ill with pneumonia during their visit.

The girls were then told they could not wait at the hospital and as minors would have to be taken into care.

Social workers took them to a municipal orphanage in downtown Manhattan, where they were separated, strip-searched and questioned before being kept under lock and key for the next 30 hours.

The two sisters were made to shower in front of security staff and told to fill out a two-page form with questions including: “Have you ever been the victim of rape?” and “Do you have homicidal tendencies?”

One question asked “are you in a street gang?” to which Gemma replied: “I’m a member of Appledore library.”

Their clothes, money and belongings were taken and they were issued with regulation white T-shirt and jeans. Katie said: “It was like being in a little cage. I tried to go to sleep, but every time I opened my eyes, someone was looking right at me.”

Eventually Bray discharged herself, and - still dressed in hospital pyjamas - tracked down the girls.

She said: “It is absolutely horrendous that two young girls were put through an ordeal like that. They were made to answer traumatic questions about things they don’t really understand and spend over 24 hours under surveillance.”

Since returning home, Bray has received a letter from the US Administration for Children and Families, notifying her that, because the children were admitted to the orphanage, she is now “under investigation.”
