When Georgia Redneck THUGS speak

Posted by BuelahMan on June 23, 2008

They sound like this stupid asshole…

He said that like he is proud of his record. Georgia rednecks, wake up and get rid of this trash.

If anyone has supported Bush and the neocon agenda, then their judgment is lacking and they should never represent you good people. You can do better.

As an example of better, check out Regina Thomas.

How Free is Free Trade? Roger Wicker Knows

Posted by BuelahMan on June 7, 2008

B’Man: h/t Jeff at Cotton Mouth

Southern politics was hijacked by neocon asswipes a while back. The Mississippi governor was elected, even though he was a lobbyist for many years and became the Chair of the ReTHUGlican National Committee. You can put a lot of blame on these individual democrats who endorsed this maniac over Musgrove: Xavier Bishop, Mike Espy, Brad Dye, and Bill Waller.

Also, Trent Lott was a mainstay in Mississippi politics, but he took the opposite approach the idiot governor took and is now a lobbyist. I believe the move will cost the THUGS in the general elections in November. Hence how important Cotton Mouth’s post and facts are.

With that asshole gone, we need to continually highlight the abuses and idiotic party voting for things that are ravaging our America. One of those “things” is “Free Trade” and Cotton Mouth ensures we understand precisely where Roger Wicker stands on this “free” trade, especially in light of the fact that he hails from Tupelo, MS, where furniture makers are shutting their doors to Asian competition.

Roger Wicker and Free Trade

A quick look at Roger Wicker’s voting record shows that he is a strong advocate of free trade. While the pros and cons of this can be debated for days, lets look past that argument to Wicker’s vote against assistance for those who lost their jobs due to free trade. The irony runs deep since Roger is from Tupelo, once the state’s industrial shining star for it’s furniture industry, now feeling the effects of shuttered factories that have left for the low wage, low regulation shores of the globalized frontier.

From On The Issues:

Wicker’s votes for free trade,

Voted YES on promoting free trade with Peru. (Nov 2007)
Voted YES on implementing CAFTA, Central America Free Trade. (Jul 2005)
Voted YES on implementing US-Australia Free Trade Agreement. (Jul 2004)
Voted YES on implementing US-Singapore free trade agreement. (Jul 2003)
Voted YES on implementing free trade agreement with Chile. (Jul 2003)

So Wicker is a big time advocate of free trade, but what about those left behind? What about the family of four from Nettleton, MS whose principle bread winners have lost their jobs to Chile or Mexico?

Voted NO on assisting workers who lose jobs due to globalization. (Oct 2007)

Once again Rubber Stamp Roger is exposed. He would rather vote with Wall Street than Main Street. Don’t take my word for it, take a look at his voting record and decide for yourself.

Wrong- As Usual

Posted by BuelahMan on June 6, 2008

B’Man: Blue Texan at firedoglake had this nice little snippet post up showing just a few examples of how wrong the reTHUGlicans have been regarding the next election (and their perceivedpreferred choice for Democratic Presidential Nominee, Hillary Clinton):

Dick Armey:

“I don’t see any way that Hillary Clinton won’t be president.”

Tom DeLay:

“Hillary will be the next president of the United States because they have built a coalition,” he said.

Dick Morris:

“Hillary Clinton will undoubtedly lose the South Carolina primary as African-Americans line up to vote for Barack Obama. And that defeat will power her drive to the nomination.”

Karl Rove:

COLMES: At this point Karl — this is risky territory, but could you predict who the nominee will be for the Democrats based on what you know?

ROVE: I think it’s going to be Senator Clinton because I think Senator Obama’s best shots are largely behind him.

Newt Gingrich:

“I think the odds are 80 per cent that Sen. Clinton is the next president; I think she is almost certainly going to win the Democratic nomination.”

El Rushbo:

“Remember this: the Democrat machine candidate always wins; the upstart insurgents never do. It’s all you need to know. Forget all the polls.”

George W. Bush:

President Bush, breaking his rule not to talk about presidential politics, says he believes Hillary Rodham Clinton will defeat Barack Obama in Democratic presidential primary voting.

“She’s got a great national presence and this is becoming a national primary,” Mr. Bush told Sammon.

I predict that Republicans will continue to be wrong about everything.

B’Man: On any number of subjects, one could do exactly the same thing and show how wrong they are. I can’t think of a subject they have been “right” on, as a matter of fact (feel free to list those, if you have them). I know many people who are this way… can be quoted later and shown to be 100% wrong in virtually everything they are involved in.

One such person is my own mother. When it comes to most any subject, but especially religion and what God tells her, she has been 100% incorrect. She had the audacity to give me marital advice, while she was in her 7th marriage (only one had died). It doesn’t take a genius to pick these folks out and as a general rule (I explain this to all my siblings who cannot seem to grasp this very simple concept), if she says anything or gives advice, no matter how sane it may seem, do 100% opposite and you will be safe.

The same holds true for Bush, his administration or any reTHUGlican who kisses the neocon ass (not to mention the Blue Dog capitulating Dems who continue to support the failings of this administration). If they say something, make a claim or suggest something the country needs to do to be “bettered”, then we should instinctively do exactly the opposite and we will be safe.

Crooks and Liars: Watching the Blue Dog Bushie Tools

Posted by BuelahMan on May 24, 2008

From Howie Klein at Crooks and Liars. Remember these Bushie Fools Come next election, rednecks:

more about “Crooks and Liars “, posted with vodpod

Today’s Blue America candidate is Georgia state Senator Regina Thomas. She’s taking on one of the very worst and most reactionary of all the congressional Blue Dogs, John Barrow, in a district that encompasses much of Savannah and Augusta. Barrow votes more frequently for the Bush agenda and with the GOP than any other Democrats, although he’s sometimes tied with Nick Lampson and Jim Marshall. Regina will be blogging live at Firedoglake today at 2pm (Georgia Peach Time). Blue America worked with singer-songwriter Jason Joseph to put together a little music clip for Regina. If you’d like to help us get this spread around, please consider donating to Regina’s campaign at our Blue America ActBlue page today.
