I’ve been called slimy before. If you haven’t seen the latest ABC clip, watch it at the link (Washington’s Blog).
The problem is that they are feeding this to us unknowingly, which should be criminal, but it isn’t:
I have been in contact with local producers of meat. I plan to make contact with any grocery stores we have done business with and ask them directly if they add slime to their beef, or use meat glue, or if they knowingly purchase products tainted for resale. If they do, they will quickly understand that they will lose any future business. Remember, too, that fast food chains make claims that their hamburgers are 100% beef. But that does NOT mean what you think it means.
I will not buy meat at Wally World due to the factory farm method, which can mix ground meats from many different animals into one package, which means that a sick cow can taint MANY packages of product. I’m sure those other Big Brand stores do it, as well. Also understand that grocers have been known to repackage old meat, in with new (ever open a pack of ground beat and see brown in the center and red on the outside)? Even if they haven’t done this, they have also been known to spray ammonia on the outside, which keeps the meat red (until you open the package and see what’s on the inside).

Have you been to the grocery store lately? I estimate that the cost of food has risen around 15 – 20% in a month or so. This doesn’t affect rich people at all, nor the comfortably numb, much… at least, yet.
But it will affect the 50% of Americans considered poor or in poverty.
The Baby Eaters don’t mind as I have pointed out here. This is just fresh, juicy morsels to them. But as Franz suggests in the comments here, they will eventually feel the same pain. Too bad it will be too late then. The thing that gets me, tho, about these supposedly “smart people” is that they can’t seem to understand how bad things really are. They tout small, ineffectual “offerings” that are meant to appease the masses, then scurry around to blame Cadillac Queens and the rest of us low-lifes and have not the integrity, wherewithal, or sanity to begin to see the lies for what they are… much less see the travesty about to set forth in America. They are too stupid to understand that they are next. Poor, ignorant bastards.
I want to offer the following video by Snordlehans, which is a take-off of a post done by Videorebel, considering information and inflation percentages from Zero Hedge. The synopsis of the Zero Hedge post is that most of us are about to take a scalping. We are about to see a dollar devaluation, one more obvious than what has been occurring right before our eyes, except the MSM won’t talk about it. We are talking about wages going to half of what they are now. That’s bad enough, but when the rest of the world does what China, Russia and other BRIC nations are doing (ridding themselves of the US Dollar and the investments into our debt), what you see now (as hard as it is for most of us) is a piece of cake.
You want to know why I am on this hell-bent directive to address Paul’s rhetoric? because the more I look into the man, the more I see him being the “Savior” that will actually be “The One” to implement the worst of what is coming. Sure, Obama is a murderer and is bad. But what would be worse is a person whose entire life has been one of this ideological Disney Land… a magical kingdom where everyone has a job… corporations are our friend… rich people care for the indigent and poor…. and there is no sickness… no poor… and everyone is healthy, wealthy and wise.
You know: Never Never Land.
It’s not like this wasn’t seen by some of us. It has been going on in open secrets for a while. I have written about it many times.
Prepare for what you are experiencing right now… but on steroids.
Extremely high costs for the essentials. Food, power, housing… EVERYTHING.
If you are poor (like me or worse, for I am in some of the better shape than most people I know, but I hold no illusions of grandeur that I am immune to the obvious), plan the best you can for the food prices.
And by the way, this IS all orchestrated. Ben Bernanke was clear about what would take place and how. He laid it all out in a Nov 21, 2002 speech at the National Economists Club. He was clear about the road they would take. To understand what he was saying, you must understand that when the Fed buys Treasury Bills, it is monetizing the debt. He breaks it down into 5 points to “make sure deflation doesn’t happen”:
Lower interest rates to near zero (check)
Buy Securities to expand Federal balance sheet (check)
Increase money supply (check)
Buy foreign and domestic government debt (check)
Devalue the Dollar (Next)
The man told us what he was going to do and they have done it. This is all planned. They are destroying the dollar and your lives along with it. But now you have others than a dumb ole redneck telling you.
You know what their plan is. So, what are you going to do about it?
Yesterday Zero Hedge ran a story that most people will never see or really understand. Zero Hedge reported that the Russians have sold off half of their US Treasury bonds over the past year. China has been dumping their dollar holdings too but still have over a trillion dollars left. Other foreigners have been dumping their dollars too. The current US inflation rate is 12%. Ben Bernanke has been creating trillions of dollars to bail out banks in Europe, to buy worthless securities from US banks and to fund the US debt. That will accelerate inflation. Inflation will go from 12% to 15% and then 20% in less than a year. The media will no longer be able to repeat the lie that the inflation rate is only 3 1/2%. Inflation will become an issue in the 2012 races for congress, Senate and the presidency.
Accelerating inflation will force people overseas to dump any dollars they receive for selling Americans food, clothes, electronics, cars, oil and other raw materials as soon the transaction is completed. This phenomenon is called an increase in the velocity of money. It is a sign your economy is transitioning from an inconveniently high rate of inflation to hyperinflation. The US dollar is an international reserve currency which means that if France wants to buy food from Brazil they will likely have to use US dollars to make that transaction. In colonial America the colonists had to earn British pounds or gold to buy something from overseas. Michael Hudson in his book Super Imperialism described how the US was funding its wars by inflating the supply of currency used to settle trade. Since WW II we have been getting real goods like cars and clothes from foreigners in exchange for increasingly worthless paper. When Hudson explained this to the Pentagon, a general said, “Wow. We are ripping people off.”
I would define hyperinflation as beginning at 25% for an international reserve currency like the dollar. That is why when inflation surged in the latter part of the Carter presidency (1979-1980) Chairman of the Federal Reserve Paul Volcker raised interest rates. Home mortgages went to 15 1/2%. Ben Bernanke cannot raise interest rates today. His only option would be to devalue the dollar which is what he said he would do in that now infamous speech he made in Washington DC on 11-21-2002.
That means after the 2012 elections the Russians, the Chinese, Iran, Venezuela plus their clients states and a few other nations can and will force a devaluation of the dollar by refusing to accept Federal Reserve Notes in international trade. If Americans balk, China just has to dump a hundred billion dollars and buy commodities driving the price of food out of the reach of WalMart shoppers. Of course I realize the Chinese will just be doing what the bankers want them to do.
An international conference will be held at which the dollar will be devalued by about 40% as predicted by Bernanke. This will complete that 50% pay cut I have been predicting.
The Chinese will have dumped most of their dollars before the conference so that their economy will not be harmed by a dollar devaluation. If Americans can’t afford to buy Chinese products, China will just sell them to people whose currencies were revalued upwards.
I would suggest you buy storable food, silver coins (not collectibles) and household items that will just increase in cost.
Of course this was all planned long ago by the bankers. I will conclude with this quote from a previous essay:
The Fundamental Fact of Your Existence as a modern man or woman is that the bankers of New York and London want to reduce you to Debt Slavery.

Conduct an immediate, independent investigation of 911 (all facets leading up to and after the event). Any and all conspirators and their operatives should be summarily executed upon any finding of guilt (for this would be obvious treason). Any person or organization found to have lied, misrepresented, or hid facts revolving what happened on that fateful day should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (members of the 911 Commission, Zelikow, Bush Admin officials, etc)
“Think Tanks” and other Elitist organizations with obvious blood lust as their mantra should be dismantled and those people held to scrutiny of truth by the American public. No think tank (nor its Zionist operatives,) should be allowed to organize and write battle plans for any military endeavor. No organization or persons should be allowed to blatantly lie about rationale to invade innocent lands and those who did should be prosecuted and held responsible for those lies.
End the “War on Drugs” immediately
End The Empire immediately
End all of wars – Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… and all proxy wars, coup attempts, and assassinations
Eliminate all off shore military (Empire) bases and bring each and every military personnel home
Eliminate all over-seas money (especially to Israel)
Allow all “Too-Big-To-Fail” banks/corporations to fail like the rest of us when we over-extend or bet away our security.
Abolish Corporate person-hood.
Never vote for a Republican or Democrat (nor any defectors from these parties when we clean house)
Re-balance the power structure of the US Government (Executive power has been increased to dictatorial levels, but to the demise of the congressional power. There should be no presidential “signing statements”. )
Enact campaign finance laws taking corporate money out of elections (heavily scrutinize and hold accountable donations sent to congress people who cater to the whims of that industry: ie; Marsha Blackburn’s heavy telecom money influences her votes regarding legislature that affects them).
Have Term Limits and use a proportional voting system (shorten Senator terms to 4 years and increase Congressional seats to 4)
Minimize congressional pay, retirement and medical benefits (none of these millionaires have done anything to deserve these huge benefits and payouts for the rest of their lives). This should be an honor to serve and no enriching, lifelong career move.
Disallow wives and family members from active participation in congressional matters (example: Max Baucus’ wife). Obvious conflict of interest.
Disallow insider trading of Congressmen (the Congress has 50 times more millionaires than regular citizens, per capita). These people can get inside information and buy/sell stocks. For you or I, this is illegal. For them, its enriching.
Stop the revolving doors of industry/government. Want to know why regulators don’t regulate? Their next employer (the one they are supposed to watch) won’t like it. Look no further than this devil to see why there needs to be no revolving doors (he is responsible for the Patriot Act, much of the Homeland Security apparatus, and untold other secret initiatives AND is an Israeli dual citizen… see next point).
Do not allow dual citizenship personnel to be in our government (there is but one allegiance to as an elected official in America and that is to AMERICA, not Israel, nor any OTHER country). Frankly, as opposed to the Senators who don’t even question such things, I don’t trust anyone who shows allegiance to two different masters. For such devotees can only hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other (Matt 6:24). They certainly cannot be trusted. Period.
Stop all foreign campaign finance and strongarming by lobbying groups whose allegiance is to another country (AIPAC, as an example). What a Zionist wants for America is NOT what is BEST for America, but is BEST for Israel and their world take-over agenda.
Mandatory disclosure of ALL personal information when running for elected office with exclusion and/or prosecution for those who refuse (never allow a dead beat draft dodger or Kenyan with a Connecticut birth certificate… having never actually lived in Connecticut… become leaders of this country).
Audit the FED… hold the thieves accountable… Close the Fed… enact a viable financial system where the government issues currency backed by precious metals (never allow a fiat currency in this country again)
Eliminate the IRS.
Eliminate personal and corporate income tax.
Eliminate the estate (death) tax.
Abolish Obama Care… implement Single Payer, Not-For-Profit healthcare. (Get the middle man insurance companies out of it.)
Immediately reduce Federal spending by 25%, minimum
Eliminate hundreds of unnecessary Federal agencies, including the FDA, Education, Dept of Agriculture, etc (not to mention all the pork and hidden payouts found deep inside bills)
Abolish the Department of Homeland Security and its entire apparatus (especially the TSA)
Repeal the Patriot Act
Prosecute, imprison or execute the ones (including George W Bush) who are responsible for torture to be conducted in our names. Prosecute and imprison any and all presidents who do not hold these murderers accountable, including Barack Obama. Obama, himself, should be held accountable for the murder of American citizens without a trial.
Balance the Budget
Secure our borders, pursue a sane immigration policy
Please add points of interest or correct anything I may have off base in comments…

Ethos, a powerful new documentary hosted by Woody Harrelson, is an investigation into the flaws in our systems, and the mechanisms that work against democracy, our environment and the the common good.
With a stunning depth of research and breadth of analysis, this film delves deep into the inter-connected worlds of Politics, Multi-National Corporations and the Media. Most of us have wondered at some point how we have arrived at a situation where democracy is touted as having created an equal society when all we see is injustice and corruption.
Politicians openly deceive the public with the support of major corporations and the mainstream media. Wars are waged, the environment is destroyed and inequality is on the rise. But what is the source of these institutional mechanisms which — when we scratch the surface — are so clearly anti-democratic, so contradictory to the values we hold in common and yet so firmly embedded that they seem beyond discussion?
Ethos opens a Pandora’s box that has it’s roots in the cross-roads where capitalism-meets-democracy, implicates every power-elite puts profit before people and finally offers a solution whereby you — the viewer — can regain control using the one thing they do care about — your cash.

I know we have noticed in this household. Every penny counts with us and there are absolutely no “extras” that we can afford. As a matter of fact, my only real salvation comes from the fact that I grow a substantial amount of the food we eat and had planned to go bigger this year. This is now complicated because It appears I tore my Achilles tendon on Saturday, which will keep me off my feet for a while (going to the doctor today with money I don’t have to confirm this today).
My wife returned from the grocery store 2 days ago witha gallon of milk that cost over $3.50. Just three weeks ago it was less than $3.00.
Everything else is extremely high, but going up more. And we are not alone. Egypt, where we have been spreading Democracy for the past 30+ years to no effect have huge percentages of their income going to all food stuffs. And guess what, these are the primary reasons those people are revolting… not because they desire Democracy (especially the type that comes at the hot end of a rifle), but because they cannot afford to live and feed their families any longer.
Forbes Magazine tells us that corn is up 94% since June, soybeans are up 51% since June, and wheat is up 80% since June. This means that virtually everything you eat is rising with it (including the soon to be defunct “Dollar Menu” from that poison center, McDonald’s.
Prices on cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, tomatoes and asparagus (and many other vegetables) are set to double or triple starting right now (just go to the grocery store and see for yourself).
It looks like many of these items will be completely wiped out. In other words, you won’t be able to buy them at any price!
It is happening in India, as well:
Its happening in China, where they saw a 4.9% inflation in a one month period (if you do the math for the milk example I gave, you will see that it is an even larger percentage increase than 5%).
Riot Map of the World courtesy of Crisisboom Blog
People are rioting all over the world (with a notable exception). And Americans are told that they simply need “democracy”. But I bet if you could ask those in Mozambique, Yemen, Algeria and virtually everywhere else in the world, our form of democracy is the very last thing they want. Like me, they want food for their family, no idiotic fantasy called American democracy (which, of course, WE don’t even have). Democracy doesn’t bode well in a Fascist State (just sayin’).
And I haven’t even begun discussing all the natural disasters that will complicate (even more) the food shortages and HUNGER the world is now experiencing.
Big Freezes in the SW USA and Mexico… floods in Australia…Excessive heat in S America… floods in Argentina… on and on and on. It all adds up to pricing that will make Egypt look like a dream world, once it fully hits.
Now, we have a corrupt government that WILL (not “might”) implement austerity measures here. But it won’t come at the cost of Empire. Oh, no, no. It will come at the cost of old people who count on Medicare and Medicaid and Social Security. It will come at the price of the poorest staving children in America dying. It will come in the guise of pulling up boot straps that are worn to a frazzle and are like an old piece of leather strapping… it falls apart with just a hint of a small tug.
But the question after all of this (and my YEARS of warning anyone who will listen): Will Americans’ Even Notice?
Probably not until it is too late (which it already is).
Good Luck! You’re Screwed!

Did you know that food pricing is skyrocketing at a clip we have never experienced before in history (expecting a 20% hike next year):
Prices of wheat, maize and many other foods traded internationally have risen by up to 40% in just a few months. Sugar, butter and cassava prices are at 30-year highs, and meat and fish are both significantly more expensive than last year.
We are also being hit with this food safety “help” by our government officials like Chuck Schumer (who, from New York, has probably never even walked on the fresh dirt of a farm, much less ever raised any of his own food) and other multi-millionaire Senators whose food arrives via the silver spoon hanging from their lips. I suppose it is just the conspiracy nut in me, but when I read that our “trusting” government is trying to “help” me, I get the willies.
Besides being called “the most dangerous bill in the history of the United States of America”, the Senate Bill S 510 would outlaw gardening and saving seeds. Per NaturalNews:
It would grant the U.S. government new authority over the public’s right to grow, trade and transport any foods. This would give Big brother the power to regulate the tomato plants in your backyard. It would grant them the power to arrest and imprison people selling cucumbers at farmer’s markets. It would criminalize the transporting of organic produce if you don’t comply with the authoritarian rules of the federal government.
“It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God.” – Dr. Shiv Chopra, Canada Health whistleblower (http://shivchopra.com/?page_id=2)
This tyrannical law puts all food production (yes, even food produced in your own garden) under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. Yep — the very same people running the TSA and its naked body scanner / passenger groping programs.
This law would also give the U.S. government the power to arrest any backyard food producer as a felon (a “smuggler”) for merely growing lettuce and selling it at a local farmer’s market.
It also sells out U.S. sovereignty over our own food supply by ceding to the authority of both the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Codex Alimentarius.
It would create an unreasonable paperwork burden that would put small food producers out of business, resulting in more power over the food supply shifting to large multinational corporations.
All you have to do is figure out who is supporting the bill and who is against the bill. Big Business likes it and small farmers hate it. It appears to be far more than any protection and is just more of a corporate takeover. But now, it is affecting MY food sources and they seemingly are trying to force me into eating the large corporate foods, force me into buying their GMO seeds, and making myself and my family more dependent oon them and sicker due to the bogus shit they put in the food. No one will ever be able to convince me that food from any other source than my garden is better for me, especially if it comes from some gigantic factory farm.
As said in the video below, this is fascism, plain and simple:
There is no better way to control a people than by controlling their food. This SHOULD be a wakeup call for each and every southern family I know. Especially the old timers that still plant their own gardens and supplement their food source by growing their own (and perhaps share or sell at a Farmer’s Market). Can you imagine the outrage of your grandfather if he were told he couldn’t grow food in his own garden?
Some 15 percent of US households, 17.4 million families or about 50 million people, were too poor to buy adequate food last year, according to a new report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). More than a third of these households, with as many as one million children, were missing meals on a regular basis, the study found.
The number of families classified as “food insecure” according to the USDA, which administers the food stamp program, has more than tripled since 2006, before the current economic slump which has brought near double-digit unemployment. Because most people are reluctant to admit they have a problem putting food on the table, particularly when they have children, “food insecurity” was calculated from survey questions about skipping meals or running out of food stamps, combined with comparisons of income and food prices.
Virtually the sole cause of food insecurity in America—the largest producer of agricultural and food products on the planet—is lack of money. The poverty rate has risen sharply over the past three years, with an estimated 50 million people living below the official poverty line, which grossly underestimates the income needed for basic necessities.
Highlighting the significant inequalities in food resource availability across US households, the USDA report noted that the typical food-secure household spent a whopping 33 percent more on food than the typical food-insecure household of the same size and household composition.
Do the numbers mean anything to you? Let’s say there is 350MILLION people in America. 50MILLION are BELOW the poverty line (I am one of them). Is 1/7 of your Greatest Nation on Earth below the poverty line any indication that something is awry or do you STILL think that the 1/7 of us are simply lazy no-goods who want the government teat? Are you still so ignorant to believe such a lie given to you by a corrupt media? Do you still think that because your job is still somewhat secure that you will never be a dreg to society, like I am? You poor, ignorant lemming. I suppose you will get what you deserve someday. Sadly, when you realize that you were simply not a victim YET and you belittled your fellow Dregs of Society, we will likely embrace you into the poor, helpless fold of lemmings we are. We will want you to join our community and be a part of restructuring and fixing this mess when it falls apart.
Yes, even you, that dude who works for the big military provider that keeps you thinking that I am the problem and IF I were to just take a job making shit that kills so many innocents. Yes, even you who has that cushy job in insurance, where you are covered, but your job is to find some way (ANY way) to limit my coverage just so your Big Money Vampiric Middle Man can suck even more profits out of the system, making us poor Dregs of Society even more sickly and DEAD (I can see many of you smile at the thought that us Cadillac Queens are going to die and get off your tax dollar safety rung). Won’t you be so much better off when us poor, socially inept, bottom feeders are all dead and gone?
I have featured Max Igan’s work here several times. His basic message is that the best way to fight the fascism/corporatism is to build local community and STOP playing by their rules. Grow your own food and establish community farmer’s markets. But, I suspect that the players such as Monsanto know this and are trying to fight it at every moment they can muster. Path To Freedom is one such online community (and there need to be many more).
There appears to be one guy, a farmer, himself, that wants to do right. John Tester has an amendment to this atrocious bill, if he can get it past Big Agriculture. From Food Safety News:
Tester, a farmer himself, told reporters yesterday that he will fight tooth and nail for the provision, believing that small-scale local producers are not presenting large-scale food risks.
“What this amendment is simply there to do–it isn’t to give anybody a loophole they can drive a truck through, it’s to give them a loophole they can walk through with a wheelbarrow full of locally grown farm-processed food,” he said.
For Tester, the measure is as much about food safety as it is about the direction of American agriculture.
“If we were to pass this bill without this amendment you’re going to see more concentration in agriculture,” he told reporters. ”You’re going to see less choices for the consumer and bigger industrialized agriculture in the country. I don’t think that’s positive, I don’t think it creates jobs, I don’t think its good for the economy and I don’t think it’s good for our food system.”
No, it’s not good for our economy or food system. It IS good for Big Ag and their headlock on Americans.

The TV may tell you that it is over (or simply ignore the issue, as instructed from on high), but there is not a chance in hell I am going to eat ANYTHING from the Gulf of Mexico for a very long time. I will NOT eat ANY shrimp, unless I can be convinced that it originates from elsewhere and is safe. This means that those trips to the Chinese and Mexican restaurants are over (not that I do it very often, anyway).
Why? Because the government and media lie with abandon. As I first questioned long ago, why aren’t people having independent tests done? When they do they find a totally different result than the “official” testers do (isn’t that amazing how that works). Seriously, a “smell test”? There are far more accurate and scientific means of ensuring the food is safe. I can only think of one reason why they would NOT conduct those tests and rely on the ineffectual tests: hiding something.
So, when a local DOES collect a sample and have it independently tested, what do they find?
When Mac learned that the Gulf shrimp testing performed to date had not included an analysis of whole shrimp with intact shells or digestive tract, she decided to mobilize. She obtained two pounds of locally caught shrimp from Venice, a small town located in the heart of Southern Louisiana. The samples were promptly transported on ice to a laboratory in Mobile Alabama, where Chemist Dr. Robert Namen tested the digestive tracts of the shrimp for components of crude oil. What they found was an alarming 193 parts per million of “Oil & Grease.”
I have a friend that I graduated high school with that is in the medical field and lives down in New Orleans. I have been quite concerned about her and her family and have asked her about the situation down there and if she and her family are well. The response I got was so very cryptic as to give me pause: she said that she would have to speak with me in person to explain. This person has never been quiet about anything in her life, as far as I know (very outspoken and knowledgable), so when she made that comment I knew to NOT quiz her about it. Something very strange is being conducted, to a point that I made the assumption she is afraid to say anything. I could be wrong.
But, there are those that will speak up (and from the looks of it, she needs to, if exposure to contaminant in the Gulf caused this):
Lisa Nelson of Orange Beach, AL is one of a growing number of people sickened and dying as a result of the BP disaster. Local physicians have no idea how to diagnose or treat patients who have bee exposed to highly toxic crude/dispersant combination. Local, State, and federal agencies continue to cover-up nad offer zero assistance.
From a cursory glance, it looks like the woman went thru a horrible car wreck or something. The bruises and the swelling… I mean, this woman is a doll and look what happened to her. And she isn’t the only one. There are many more people sick from this and very few Doctors will even discuss any potential for chemical poisoning. It’s a flu or virus or something else.
But what if they could prove that the sea life is dying, too? I mean surely the huge fish kills mean something, don’t they? What about the coral reefs that support much of that life?
“What we have at this point is the smoking gun,” said Charles Fisher, a biologist with Penn State University who led the expedition aboard the Ronald Brown, a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration research vessel.
“There is an abundance of circumstantial data that suggests that what happened is related to the recent oil spill,” Fisher said.
It is almost as if every single communication that the government issues and asks for feedback is fraught with problems. Many can’t even reply via email or online forms to attend events scheduled to allow citizens to participate. They also have a revolving door of officials who first ok’d the usage of the banned Corexit (banned in the UK and most of Europe) and now are in charge of the citizen communications. From Activist Post:
The November 3rd EPA press release claims their Restoration Task Force wants to hear from the public, but when coastal residents attempt to RSVP they are informed that the registration deadline was November 1st (two days prior to when the EPA let concerned citizens know about the event).
Lisa Jackson, the EPA administrator that approved countless exemptions for the use of the COREXIT is hosting a public meeting Monday in Pensacola, Florida that will help the public deal with the effects of dispersed oil. Here’s is what the release said, “President Obama issued an executive order in October to create the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Task Force, continuing the administration’s ongoing commitment to the gulf region. The task force works to integrate federal restoration efforts with those of local stakeholders and state and tribal governments, and to facilitate accountability and support throughout the restoration process. Document
Most residents on the coast maintain that BP‘s 100 million dollar PR campaign has all but silenced the free press while independent test results tell a much different story than our federal agencies would have us believe. “I find it ironic that the same person (Lisa Jackson) that approved the use of the chemical that poisoned the Gulf is now in charge of recovery… Now the company responsible for this mess is telling our government agencies what is safe for it‘s citizens?”, said Cherri Foytlin, the wife of an out of work oil worker, “I attended the Clean Gulf Conference sponsored by most of the major players in the Industry. Marty Cramer of Conoco Phillips announced, ‘The use of dispersants and burning of oil is no longer considered an alternative solution – it is the solution.’ What is a public hearing without the voice of the people? Some of the people in that meeting should already be in jail.”
I don’t know what is going on, but it seems clear that a cover-up is ongoing. When I see people who live there saying they won’t eat the stuff, I sure as hell won’t.
Bon Appetit.

I think it is pretty obvious what is about to occur in this country. The unconscious American public is about to embark on massive changes to their social structure and welfare. We have basically fallen into the prescribed “sides” of the issues they want us divided into and have swallowed the bait and the hook is set.
Us “lefties” and you “righties” (or vice versa, whichever side you think we belong will suffice, for in reality it all means nothing) will go to the polls next Tuesday and we will vote for the lesser of two evils (AGAIN). The Republicans have hijacked the Tea Party making it nothing more than the Corporate Republican scalawags and you people have totally dumped the ideology that made you attractive to real patriots who are trying to change the system. How you could allow it is beyond me, but you did it. You let those fools co-opt you into becoming the same old Corporately fed, Zionist fawning, Imperial backing Republican Party that Dr Paul speaks AGAINST (but sadly won’t leave, making him moot, as well).
Then we have that other side of “Socialists” (yeah, right) that back a Kenyan infiltrator (lol) who is nothing but an extension of the last asshole that held that position. You forgot all your bitches about illegal wars, about torture, about loss of liberty and have swallowed the Dem Party storyline of “at least we aren’t Bush” (even tho nothing of any substance has changed).
You people keep us in the never-ending ping-pong game of lesser evils, all-the-while never figuring out that evil is evil. Period. I live amongst the most gullible lot of nincompoops, if this is the best you can do.
As for me, if and when I go into any voting booth, I will write in…
NONE OF THE ABOVE
…if confronted with an R or D choice.
Of course, the sycophants from the left will say, “But that is a vote for the Republicans” and the righty sycophants will say, “You are voting for a Democrat.” But that is what ignorant sycophants do. They conveniently forget how we got to where we are and that these fools they follow and idolize are simply two sides of the same tainted coin.
I haven’t forgotten:
I remember it vividly, whereas the sycophantic rightys can’t seem to muster two brain cells together to recall the 8 years previous to the latest disaster POTUS administration. For God’s sakes, you are flirting with that idiot, Newt. WTF? Have you no shame?
I am not endorsing the D’s by putting up that video. Like I said, I’ll not vote for either, ever again.
You see, I haven’t forgotten the lies the D’s told us all to get control of Congress and the POTUS-ship. I haven’t forgotten all the outrage of the wars from “the left” which mysteriously disappeared after electing your favorite PARTY CLOWNs. I haven’t forgotten how angry you were with illegal wars, but how quickly you embraced them when the Savior was elected. I haven’t forgotten your idols that bitched and moaned about our military forays in the ME, just to have them rally for the sanity of MORE war and murder.
You see, we are too far gone. There really is nothing more that someone like me can do to spread any sanity… to try to educate you as to what the hell you are getting US in to.
But I do want to make a prediction. I will predict that by your playing their games by their rules, you will give the Republicans a massive victory next week. Enough to change the majority makeup of the House. Not by much, but enough. Enough for what, you ask?
Enough for them to claim they have a mandate from the people of America.
This mandate will entail savage austerity, according to Zerohedge:
In the US, the intensity of the Austerity-For-Workers program will depend partially on the size of Republican gains in the November 2 mid-term elections. More seats going Republican—particularly the loss of the House—means more momentum for attacking working families’ social safety net.
What does this mean to poor rednecks, like myself? It means that IF you think you will get any Unemployment benefit extensions, forget it. Those 99%ers you have read about are about to become 24%ers or a bit more. How about that pension you acquired via hard work? How would you feel if the Gubment took it and reallocated it in Gubment (worthless) Bonds and “promised” you that you will get your money, but on their timeline? What if this austerity includes remaking the Social Security System, radically cutting benefits that are already far underfunded for normal life in America? What if that Medicare that you count on to keep you alive is stripped down to nothing? What if this austerity causes even more job losses in America and that we will NEVER recover the ones already lost?
We are about to embark upon the hardest times of your life (unless you are the mega-wealthy). Our elected officials are about to strip us of social programs that we count on and we will be left to fend for ourselves or die.
Charlie McGrath has one of the best run-downs of what is about to happen that I have seen. Well worth the watch, if you haven’t seen it yet:
Simultaneously, we are about to see inflation jump like never before. It is already happening, as I write this, but the real storm is a month or so away. As one example, College Tuition is going up again. But everything else will, as well. Especially food.
Corn is up 45 percent the last three months. We haven’t seen cotton prices this high since after the Civil War. Soybeans are up. Oil is up. Metals are up. So are coffee and cocoa. In this era of massive liquidity, everything is up, except for food prices—specifically processed food (made from many of the same commodities and other ingredients whose prices have risen).
According to the USDA, that is going to change. In its most recent CPI report for food, the USDA reported that prices are expected to rise in 2011.
For all food, prices are expected to rise two to three percent, which is double the levels of 2010. Meat prices are expected to rise up to 3.5 percent, and dairy 5.5 percent.
#1 The murder rate in New York City has increased more than 15 percent in 2010, and the number of rapes has shot up from 943 in 2009 to 1075 so far this year.
#2 In the city of Detroit, crime has gotten so bad and the citizens are so frustrated by the lack of police assistance that they have resorted to forming their own organizations to fight back. One group, known as “Detroit 300″, was formed after a 90-year-old woman on Detroit’s northwest side was brutally raped in August.
#3 Crime in Miami Beach was up almost 11 percent during the first half of 2010.
#4 The murder rate in Tempe, Arizona is now the highest it has been in 10 years.
#5 Shoplifting is completely and totally out of control. According to the National Association of Shoplifting Prevention, every single day Americans steal more than $35 million worth of goods from retail stores.
#7 U.S. authorities claim that there are now over 1 million members of criminal gangs operating inside the United States. According to federal statistics, these 1 million gang members are responsible for up to 80% of the violent crimes committed in the U.S. each year.
#8 The median age of the victims of imprisoned sex offenders in the United States is 13 years old.
#9 The crime rate in the San Diego school system is escalating out of control. The following is what San Diego School Police Chief Don Braun recently told the press about the current situation….
“Violent crime in schools has risen 31 percent. Property crime has risen 12 percent. Weapons violations (have gone up) almost 8 percent.”
#1053 percent of all investigated burglaries in the states of California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
#11 Law enforcement officials estimate that about 600,000 Americans and 65,000 Canadians are trading dirty child pictures online. They also say that the total profit from creating and trading these images is approximately two to three billion dollars every year.
#12 Each year, one out of every five people in the U.S. is victimized by crime. No other nation on the planet has a rate that is higher.
I also read from my home town weekly paper that a very small town in my home county has a Chief of police who is apologizing to residents over the weekly road blocks that they set up in town every Sunday (now becoming renowned for it). As I read thru the list of “arrests” it couldn’t be more clear what they are going after… weed smokers. The vast majority of the arrests were drug related and the biggest proportion, by far, was for marijuana. The fine for less than 1 ounce (1st offense in MS) is about $1,000. After everything is said, done and paid for, it might cost a person $1800 to handle it in court. Fine and dandy, except for the fact that it costs the country $2800 per case.
Not only are these people arresting young folks (ruining their lives) over a weed, they are losing money EVERY time they do it. And the tax payer yawns and scratches his hinder parts and turns on American Idol while sipping his illegal beer in that dry county.
Of course, nothing new on all the break ins and thefts. But never mind that. We stopped those hippies from smoking a little weed.
WTF?
Look. I know I am experiencing my own hardships (no job, no prospect for a job), but I can’t bury my head. No matter how hard it gets, I believe I will be able to take care of my family utilizing my network I have been setting up for a couple of years (you know who you are). I am not totally prepared, but I have most of what we need to survive. So, I am not just some crazy person freaked out over my own circumstances. This shit is real, people. It is happening right before our eyes and we better be ready for it when it comes… for IT IS COMING.
#1 Corporate insiders are selling off stock at a blinding pace and are looking for the exits. Alan Newman, the editor of the Crosscurrents newsletter, examined a number of the top performing stocks in the market including Google, Apple and Target and found that the ratio of corporate insider stock sold to corporate insider stock purchased over the last six months for those companies was 3,177 to 1. At the group of firms that Newman looked at, corporate insiders had purchased 38,000 shares of stock over the last six months and yet had sold off over 120 million shares.
#2 Analysts at both Bank of America and Goldman Sachs both believe that the U.S. Federal Reserve is going to initiate a new round of quantitative easing in November. It does not take a genius to figure out that this is very likely to push up inflation and have very serious consequences for the U.S. dollar.
#3 Economists at Goldman Sachs are projecting that the Fed will have to purchase at least $4 trillion in assets during this next round of quantitative easing to get the U.S. economy moving in a positive direction once again.
#4 In the United States today, there are 5,057 janitors with Ph.D.’s, other doctorates, or professional degrees.
#5 Investors have very little faith in the U.S. dollar (and in paper currencies in general) at this point. Precious metals are soaring to obscene heights. The price of gold has increased more than 20 percent in 2010. The price of silver has skyrocketed about 40 percent this year. These are not signs that indicate that the U.S. financial system is stable.
#6 Robin Griffiths, a technical strategist at Cazenove Capital, told CNBC on Monday that the U.S. dollar is in danger of becoming “toxic waste”.

#9 According to a Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller home price report that was released on Tuesday, single family home prices in the United States declined for a second straight month in August.
#11 During the months of August and September, the state of Nevada had an unemployment rate of 14.4 percent, which was the highest in the history of the state. Not that the rest of the country is doing any better. The state of California has become a complete and total economic disaster zone, and the city of Detroit, Michigan is literally dying.
#12 The “official” unemployment rate in the United States has been at nine and a half percent or above for 14 consecutive months.
#13 The number of people unemployed in the state of California is approximately equivalent to the populations of Nevada, New Hampshire and Vermont combined.
#14 According to the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, there are approximately 3 million more vacant housing units than usual in the United States.
#15 China has reduced the export quota on rare earth elements for the second half of 2010 by 72%, thus strengthening their position in the world economy even more. Rare earth elements are absolutely crucial to the manufacture of a vast array of high technology products, and now even more of them will have to be made in China.

#23 One out of every six Americans is now enrolled in a government anti-poverty program, and yet the number of Americans signing up for food stamps and other social programs just continues to set new all-time records month after month after month.
#24 The number of Americans working part-time jobs “for economic reasons” is now the highest it has been in at least five decades.
#26 According to a recent poll conducted by CNBC, 92 percent of Americans believe that the performance of the U.S. economy is either “fair” or “poor”.
#27 After analyzing Congressional Budget Office data, Boston University economics professor Laurence J. Kotlikoff came to the conclusion that the U.S. government is now facing a “fiscal gap” of $202 trillion dollars.
#28 A trillion $10 bills, if they were taped end to end, would wrap around the earth more than 380 times. That amount of money would still not be enough to pay off the U.S. national debt.

It is getting many of my friends. Dog got it way back in the mid 90′s. It (or probably the Chemo) killed him. Elmo got it and is fighting it with Chemo and the latest update is that his tumor has shrunk. Jen, my buddy, died from a brain tumor that THC heals, but she didn’t have that option. My Mom’s friend (and new friend to me) Ruth has it.
I have many friends and relatives who have or had cancer: some live and some died.
But what is it and why do we have it on earth?
Abnormal Angiogenesis is the culprit and the hallmark of every type of cancer. We will all, 100% of us, experience microscopic cancer cells within our lives (especially if we live to be around 70). Many of us will have these small cancers well before then. But, we may never develop a mass of cancerous cells UNLESS angiogenesis occurs (the body’s ability to make blood vessels that feed the cancer). If we stop angiogenesis, we stop the cancer. Here is a very good description of the details of how and why:
Mr William Li tells us that it is not enough to use angiogenesis to stop cancers that are already surviving and growing in our body, but the best way is to stop the blood vessels in the first place. But how? Of course, via nutrition. Dr Mercola explains it even further, then adds this very important information about vitamin D:
It’s virtually impossible to discuss cancer prevention today without discussing vitamin D, as the scientific evidence of its anti-cancerous benefits is truly impressive.
For example, intake of vitamin D3 and calcium could potentially prevent 58,000 new cases of breast cancer and 49,000 new cases of colorectal cancer annually in the United States and Canada, according to a complex computer prediction model.
This model also predicted that 75 percent of deaths from these cancers could be prevented with adequate intake of vitamin D3 and calcium.
Theories linking vitamin D to certain cancers have been tested and confirmed in more than 200 epidemiological studies, and understanding of its physiological basis stems from more than 2,500 laboratory studies, according to epidemiologist Cedric Garland, DrPH, professor of family and preventive medicine at the UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Garland is widely regarded as the leading epidemiologist on vitamin D and its relation to health. He led one of the latest studies on vitamin D for cancer prevention and proposed a new model of cancer development — dubbed DINOMIT– that is centered on a loss of cancer cells’ ability to stick together.
The model is a departure from the older model of cancer development, which centers on genetic mutations as the earliest driving forces behind cancer. According to Dr. Garland:
“The first event in cancer is loss of communication among cells due to, among other things, low vitamin D and calcium levels. In this new model, we propose that this loss may play a key role in cancer by disrupting the communication between cells that is essential to healthy cell turnover, allowing more aggressive cancer cells to take over.”
So clearly, no cancer prevention plan is complete without this simple lifestyle modification.
Normalizing your vitamin D levels with safe amounts of sun exposure is one of the most effective, and least expensive, strategies that is available to most people. Ideally, you’ll want to monitor your vitamin D levels to make sure your levels stay within a therapeutic range year-round.
Here are several additional strategies you can incorporate to virtually eliminate your cancer risk:
Get appropriate amounts of animal-based omega-3 fats.
Exercise. One of the primary reasons exercise works is that it drives your insulin levels down. Controlling insulin levels is one of the most powerful ways to reduce your cancer risks.
Have a tool to permanently erase the neurological short-circuiting that can activate cancer genes. Even the CDC states that 85 percent of disease is caused by emotions. It is likely that this factor may be more important than all the other physical ones listed here, so make sure this is addressed. My particular favorite tool for this purpose, as you may know, is the Emotional Freedom Technique.
Only 25 percent of people eat enough vegetables, so by all means eat as many vegetables as you are comfortable with. Ideally, they should be fresh and organic. However, please understand that, frequently, fresh conventionally grown vegetables are healthier than organic ones that are older and wilted in the grocery store. They are certainly better than no vegetables at all, so don’t use that as an excuse. If you are a carb nutritional type you may need up to 300 percent more vegetables than a protein nutritional type.
Obviously, the best approach to cancer is to avoid it in the first place. Good diet, sleep, and certain minor changes in lifestyle can help avoid cancers. But what if much of the food you have access to is some of the main culprits in the cause? What if cancer cells feed on fructose (which is sugar, especially the refined stuff, and most especially the high fructose corn syrup found in virtually everything, including breads and soft drinks, etc)?
WASHINGTON — Pancreatic tumor cells use fructose to divide and proliferate, U.S. researchers said on Monday in a study that challenges the common wisdom that all sugars are the same.
Tumor cells fed both glucose and fructose used the two sugars in two different ways, the team at the University of California Los Angeles found.
They said their finding, published in the journal Cancer Research, may help explain other studies that have linked fructose intake with pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest cancer types.
“These findings show that cancer cells can readily metabolize fructose to increase proliferation,” Dr. Anthony Heaney of UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center and colleagues wrote.
“They have major significance for cancer patients given dietary refined fructose consumption, and indicate that efforts to reduce refined fructose intake or inhibit fructose-mediated actions may disrupt cancer growth.”
Cool. So avoiding sugars, especially refined sugars like the mess they put in cokes and bread is a way to limit the ability of these cancers to form and grow. And this is something my family has been doing for a while, although getting it ALL out is virtually impossible, if you ever buy anything at the grocery store or at a fast food restaurant.
Now, something that is extremely interesting and seems to bolster this idea about added sugars, is a recent study that found that researchers cannot find cancer in ancient humans or dinosaurs. Meaning that cancers are a relatively recent phenomena (the Greeks first knew of cancers over 2,000 years ago), but it was relatively obscure. The rapid rates we see now can conceivably be connected to the food and nutrition of today’s man. Read the words of Professor Rosalie David in the following UK Mail Online article:
‘In industrialised societies, cancer is second only to cardiovascular disease as a cause of death. But in ancient times, it was extremely rare.
‘There is nothing in the natural environment that can cause cancer. So it has to be a man-made disease, down to pollution and changes to our diet and lifestyle.
‘The important thing about our study is that it gives a historical perspective to this disease. We can make very clear statements on the cancer rates in societies because we have a full overview. We have looked at millennia, not one hundred years, and have masses of data.
‘Yet again extensive ancient Egyptian data, along with other data from across the millennia, has given modern society a clear message – cancer is man-made and something that we can and should address.’
So, cancer was relatively unknown back before the industrial age and the age that we started this insane diet that we now embark upon. It gets worse the more of the refined sugars and bad nutrition are attributed. But, many of us are growing older and have a lifetime of consuming this crap. Is it too late? What if we get cancer? What should we do?
Elmo is getting Chemo and it seems to work. But, in many cases, this is not the case. I want to present the following movie, especially for my friend Ed at Not Another CONspiracy. Ed’s sister is extremely sick and near death. She is scared and I understand that fear. Her only recourse is additional chemo which could likely kill her, for much of that stuff is toxic and as I explained earlier, is what I believe got Dog many years ago.
That is just part 1 of 13 and well worth every minute. Please watch the entire series. I loved this film for its information and hope.
I want to add that the “sick care industry” wants you sick. You MUST understand this simple point. If you aren’t sick, they make no money. To this end, we must always realize that there is a profit motive to keep people eating this crap… not only for the food manufacturers that cut corners and save money using less than healthy ingredients, but there is an undeniably HIGH profit motive in the so-called “health care industry”.
I can attest to this simply from my last visit to my doctor (which has now been over 6 months). There, I ask the Nurse practitioner if diet and exercise could help my blood pressure and lose weight? This person is MUCH larger than I was at the time and basically told me that it might help, but medications would help also.
See how that works?
If these people actually understood the body and how it uses nutrition to fight illness, that story would be what I preach to you now.
But that is NOT, by and large, what the health care industry is interested in. Cause if I get healthy and have no reason to go see them, they make no money.
This ain’t rocket science, you know?
Now, I wonder if this could also be the prime issue with MANY of our diseases like Alzheimer’s, etc? Could we stop many of the debilitating diseases simply by diet, nutrition and exercise?
(Oh, and don’t be freaked out over a coffee enema… I have had barium shoved up my hiney, so there)

After my own experimentation, I proved to myself that organic is far better than any other food available. But not Penn and Teller, the BS corporate weenies. They had an episode that used Big Food hacks as their source and a couple of Hippie Freaks to cause the illusion that anyone who believes that natural, organic foods are better than the industrial grade farm shit is whacko. Here is a taste from the show during last season:
I was curious and watched that particular show (I have seen several episodes and found issues with most). The act is pretty good, but when they get into bullshit like this and show what stupid water carrying assholes they are, it needs to be pointed out.
Are these fools going to tell me that the food I produced in my garden with my hands and without chemicals is the same as the industrial farm shit> Really? How stupid can someone be to believe those fuckwads who likely never even touched the dirt working a garden?
dailybathos commented on the Youtube Channel:
Alex Avery, the “food policy analyst” in this episode works for a think-tank called the Hudson Institute. This institute is funded, in part, by Monsanto–the company that genetically modified 90% of the world’s soy beans, and also the company that sues local farmers for saving their own, natural soy seeds. As a result of this mad alchemy, Monsanto now has a patent for the soy bean (the only kind left).
It appears that P&T’s producers are more interested in carrying forward the agenda of Big Agribusiness, instead of looking for the Bullshit the show is named for. But the only bullshit is coming from the assholes who used their names and influence to insinuate to Americans that the real healthy food is a scam. That you are as well or better off using the Big Factory Farm, salmonella-tainted products over your own.
From the “Funding” section of the wikipedia link on the Hudson Institute, we see exactly why they would develop and produce this episode:
Fundraising efforts use testimonials from what the Institute calls its “family of generous supporters and friends”, among them, Henry Kissinger, who provides a testimonial: “Hudson Institute is today one of America’s foremost policy research centers, in the forefront of study and debate on important domestic and international policy issues, known and respected around the globe, a leader in innovative thinking and creative solutions to the challenges of the present and the future.”[9]
Critics question the institute’s position on many issues, such as their negative campaigning against organic farming, since they receive large sums of money from conventional food companies. The New York Times commented on Dennis Avery’s attacks on organic farming: “The attack on organic food by a well-financed research organization suggests that, though organic food accounts for only 1 percent of food sales in the United States, the conventional food industry is worried.”[6]
While many conservative think tanks eschew government funding, Hudson happily takes government contracts. The Capital Research Center (CRC) database lists Hudson as having received six grants between 1996 and 2002 totalling $731,914 (unadjusted for inflation). Five of the six grants were from the Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs. (Neither the CRC database or Hudson’s annual report for those years provide details on what the grants were specifically for).
In 2002 Hudson received a grant of $173,484 from the Department of Commerce.
The Hudson Institute’s IRS Form 990 for the financial year ending on September 30, 2003 showed total revenue of $9.34 million, including over $146,000 in government grants. Although several of the organizations listed below no longer exist, some of the funding sources listed in the institute’s 2002 annual report include:
Now isn’t that a hefty agri-business list? Think that there may be some influence on P&T’?
But what about the truth of organic foods. Is it really better for me, as I have proved to myself?
Jonathon Benson at NaturalNews seems to think so and writes about the Public Library of Science (PLoS) One‘s peer reviewed study recently published that tells us the opposite of what the agri-business giants want you to believe:
John Reganold, professor of soil science at Washington State University Regents and author of the new study, and his colleagues conducted the most comprehensive analysis of its kind on commercial produce soil and the strawberries that grow in it. (Conventional strawberries, as many now know, are one of the most pesticide-laden fruits available for sale.)
Reganold and his team analyzed 31 different chemical and biological soil properties–including soil DNA–and performed tests on the quality, nutritional value and taste of 26 different strawberries from both conventional and organic fields. And what they found is truly astounding.
Organic strawberries contain far more antioxidants, vitamin C and beneficial polyphenolic compounds than conventional strawberries, and they have a longer shelf life. Organic strawberries also contain more dry matter per volume–meaning more actual strawberry–than conventional ones do.
In an unbiased taste test, samplers indicated that organic strawberries taste better overall, both in terms of sweetness and general strawberry flavor. And when viewed side-by-side, organic strawberries are more visually appealing.
But it does not stop there. In soil tests, organic soils tested extremely rich in key nutrients, enzymes and biological and chemical elements, that are otherwise lacking in conventional fields. Such soil nutrients are vital for producing nutritionally-rich fruit, as well as for maintaining healthy soil conditions that preserve and promote environmental integrity.
The study also revealed that organic produce can be raised with the same–or better–yields as conventional produce, but without all the harmful chemicals and pesticides that destroy both human health and the environment.

These are the figures for U.S. Trade per Country….
Call me crazy– but first : I don’t believe ‘all’ the figures
and secondly I just keep thinking ‘ what exactly did we trade for that couldn’t of been produced here?”
And why the hell do we trade with our enemies???? To win their hearts and minds…? How about winning your own citizens hearts and minds so they can get back to work, make a liveable wage, stay healthy… and pay into their own systems .
Report: Pre-K needed to increase military recruits
By MARIA BURNHAM – Associated Press Writer
JACKSON, Miss. — National security is threatened by soaring obesity rates among young people, a lack of early education and by high juvenile crime rates, a group of retired officers says in a report. About 75 percent of Mississippians aged 17 to 24 are ineligible to serve in the military mainly because of these three factors, according to the report issued by Mission: Readiness, a nationwide nonprofit group of retired military leaders. That number matches the national percentage. If that trend continues, in 20 years the military will be significantly understaffed, said retired Army Brig. Gen. Augustus Collins of Madison. “We need to support long-term strategies to help our young people maintain healthy lifestyles and keep them on the right side of the law,” Collins said at a news conference at the state Capitol. The best way to do that in Mississippi is through increased early education, in particular state funded pre-kindergarten programs for 3- and 4-year-olds, the report says.
Lazy, fat asses better shape up so you can ship out. They NEED your kids to fill the ranks and you are letting them down. They have a long-range plan to coincide with their new hundred years wars and they need their next 15 year “crop” in decent shape for the grinder.
But let me ask you something. Wonder why your kid is so fat to begin with?Think it may have anything to do with the fact that it is cheaper to feed them a fast food hamburger than to buy, cook and serve a decent meal of fresh vegetables? That chips are cheaper than carrots?
From Information Clearinghouse:In Food, Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation’s food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that has been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation’s food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, herbicide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won’t go bad, but we also have new strains of E. coli—the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually. We are riddled with widespread obesity, particularly among children, and an epidemic level of diabetes among adults.Featuring interviews with such experts as Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation), Michael Pollan (The Omnivore’s Dilemma, In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto) along with forward thinking social entrepreneurs like Stonyfield’s Gary Hirshberg and Polyface Farms’ Joel Salatin, Food, Inc. reveals surprising—and often shocking truths—about what we eat, how it’s produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.http://www.foodincmovie.com/about-the-issues.phpPosted February 09, 2010
That movie tells it all about Big Farming and how corporations rule everything in the process, especially the very food (plant or animal) that you put in your mouth. If you watch that film you will come away with the same disgust for fast food as I have developed in the last few months. Especially in regards to the change in my diet the last couple of weeks to this paleolithic diet.Food tastes so different. So much better. Just the elimination of added sugars (I haven’t eaten any processed foods… only stuff we meticulously prepare here) has made a major difference (not to mention the elimination of salt, which has actually enhanced my sense of taste). I feel so much better and now look forward to eating.
I prove it to myself and you can prove it to yourself, as well. But you will PAY for it. It costs us MUCH more to eat this way than to go to a fast food restaurant at every meal. By far. That movie will explain why that is.
I want to point out a couple of things that I didn’t know until recently. 1st, We are killing ourselves with cancer by the way Big Food adulterated their products (milk and meat). Did you know that US milk is banned from all of Europe? And most don’t want our meat either?
… About 20 percent of our milk is genetically engineered. Technically this is known as rBGH, the small r stands for recombinant, BGH, is bovine growth hormone… This [milk] contains very high levels of a natural growth factor known as IGF-1… IGF-1 stands for Insulin-like Growth Factor 1. So growth factor 1 is a natural growth factor and is responsible for normal growth but when you drink rBGH milk, you have very, very high levels of this natural growth factor. When you drink it, the IGF-1 survives digestion and is readily absorbed from your small intestine, into your blood. Increased levels of IGF-1 have been shown to increase risks of breast cancer and we have about 20 publications showing this; risk of colon cancer [shown] by about 10 publications; prostate cancer by about another 10 publications. And a further concern: increased levels of IGF-1 block natural defense mechanisms against early cancers, [mechanisms] known as ‘apoptosis.’” The scientific evidence of the dangers of rBGH milk is explained in great detail in Dr. Epstein’s book What’s in Your Milk?, published in 2006. “Based on the concerns which I have just briefly summarized, in 1999, the United Nations Food and Safety Agency, which represents a hundred nations worldwide, ruled unanimously not to set safety standards for rBGH milk, and effectively this has resulted in an international ban on U.S. milk. – Dr. Joseph Mercola
Secondly, Health Insurance Companies invest BIG BUCKS in fast food companies.Yep! They know where to put all that dough they take from you. They put it right back into some of the main reasons you are getting so fat, sick, diabetic and dead.
(NaturalNews) – Did you ever wonder how health insurance companies drum up future business? It’s easy: Just invest in companies whose products cause chronic degenerative disease, driving people towards more health care needs and therefore more health insurance. And that’s exactly what the health insurance industry is doing.
A new article published in the American Journal of Public Health reveals that U.S. and Canadian health insurance giants own nearly $2 billion worth of stock in fast food giants like McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell and others. So profits made by health insurance companies are reinvested in industries that make people sick and diseased, bringing them back to buy more health insurance down the road.
It’s a pretty clever business model for an industry that seems focused on the almighty dollar and obviously has no concern whatsoever for the actual health status of its customers. If anything, these health insurance companies hope you get sicker!
The simple fact is that our entire health “care” system is totally built around treating illnesses… NOT preventing sickness. It is all PROFIT motive. Why do other countries that have far better health stats fare so much better than the USA (which spends more per capita than any other developed country for health care)? Because they provide and insist on preventative care. They know that if you eat healthy, you don’t need all the meds and procedures. It costs less.
We are a bunch of lazy fat asses (me included) on the most part. 1/2 of young people in Mississippi are obese and this is why the military is worried. One of their poorest, most dependent portions of society is getting too fat for their slaughter mill and they want to remedy that.
Personally I am torn. Altho I don’t want those kids to die for a very long time, it may be better to get fat as hell and have a heart attack than join them and die from a bullet to the head over their Empire.
Maybe that’s just me.
But the other side of the evil coin (pharmaceutical companies) has the answer for our fat assed woes… EVEN MORE MEDICINE:
Now, to hear mainstream medicine pushers say it, the only reason Americans are so sick and diseased right now is because — get this — not enough people are taking enough medications! Yes… if they could only convince more parents to drug more babies and toddlers; or if they could get more teens on four, five or six drugs at once; or if they could convince nursing homes to pop a dozen different meds into the mouths of senior citizens then we’d all be healthier!
America, you see, suffers from a medication deficiency. That’s the line of mainstream medicine: More meds = less disease. And now, they’re trying to convince everyone that even healthy people now need meds (statin drugs) even if they show no symptoms of disease.
So now — get this — being healthy is no longer enough to avoid medications! We’re ALL supposed to be medicated, whether we’re healthy or not. Mainstream medicine, you see, isn’t satisfied to just treat sick people with its medications, radiation machines and surgical procedures: It wants to put all the healthy people on pills, too.
And what will be the result of all this? Imagine in your own mind, for a moment: What will be the result if, say, Americans start taking twice as much medication as they do right now. Will Americans be healthier? Of course not. They will be more diseased. More medicated and chemically contaminated.
The fish downstream will be even more polluted with pharmaceutical runoff and the bio sludge human waste “compost” products now being put on farms will be even more heavily saturated with medication chemicals. Will that create health for America? Of course not.
Mainstream medicine does not work. And pushing mainstream medicine onto more people will only cause more sickness, more suffering and more bankruptcies across American households. It will, however, accomplish one very important thing: The obscene financial enrichment of a few powerful corporations like Pfizer, Merck, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca.
And that, my friends, is the entire point of mainstream medicine: To mainline the profits for Big Pharma, sideline the legitimate health problems of the American people, and streamline the criminal soaking of the rich, the poor and the recently-insured in order to turn sickness into profit.
That’s mainstream medicine for you. I’m sure glad I don’t use it.
