Lies are lies, and they all bear bad fruit. This is not going to be another little history lesson. Below is what happens when lies are told. This actually happened and it is NOT an isolated case. I have sent several articles on this subject and if you have read them you will know that what happened in the copied  article below is common. You just won’t find it on the news unless for some reason it develops a life of its own.
“Common” i.e. “it happened all the time” is how this incident was described by Major General Steve Johnson. I will have a few brief words to say at the conclusion of the article.

No prison time for Marine charged in Haditha massacre

As part of a plea deal, Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, leader of a Marine squad responsible for the 2005 slaughter of 24 Iraqi civilians, will spend no time in a military prison. Wuterich, 31, pleaded guilty on January 23 to a single charge of negligent dereliction of duty for his role in the massacre in Haditha and its subsequent cover-up.

The Marine faced a sentencing hearing Tuesday at Camp Pendleton, California. Previously indicted on unpremeditated murder charges in 19 of the 24 civilian deaths, counts carrying a maximum sentence of 152 years in prison, Wuterich was allowed to walk free. He still faces possible reduction in pay and rank. (OMG, not a possible reduction in pay and rank!! Jeez, it was only 24 innocent civilians.) During proceedings Monday, the court did not discuss a discharge for Wuterich, who has remained on active duty since the massacre.

The Haditha case was the longest running criminal prosecution against military personnel involved in the Iraq War and Wuterich was the last man among the original eight facing charges in the case. Six other Marines had charges dismissed, and one Marine was acquitted.

The plea agreement of Wuterich brings the three-and-a-half-week long court martial to a close, thereby suppressing more details about the killings, one of the worst atrocities committed by US soldiers against civilians since the My Lai massacre in Vietnam. (Remember, My Lai was a common occurrence too. It just happened to make the papers, the same as this atrocity)

As in other atrocity cases related to the US occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan—among them the Abu Ghraib torture case, the Blackwater killings of Baghdad’s Nisour Square, the Afghan “kill team,” and others—the outcome of the Haditha killings absolves higher level military and government figures of any responsibility for the consequences of policies (CYA) that low-ranking military personnel carry out.Like the massacre itself, the outcome of the case underscores the criminal character of the wars and the political establishment behind them.

Wuterich pleaded guilty to the minor charge of negligent dereliction of duty for ordering the squad to “shoot first and ask questions later” on the night of November 19, 2005.

Although the rampage began after a convoy in which the Marines were traveling was struck by a roadside bomb, testimony of the men make clear that Wuterich and others were knowingly slaughtering innocent bystanders with no provocation.

Sergeant Sanick Dela Cruz, a young corporal at the time of the massacre, testified earlier this month that he witnessed Wuterich order four teen aged students and a taxi driver out of a passing cab, then execute them as they knelt in a position of surrender. Dela Cruz, who had been granted immunity in exchange for his testimony, said he and others riddled the victims with bullets as they lay on the ground, then urinated on their corpses. Afterward, Dela Cruz told the jury, Wuterich ordered him to lie about the killings, concocting a story involving the victims running away and coming under fire by Iraqi soldiers.

After the street shooting, Wuterich ordered the squad on a sweep of three nearby houses, where families including many women, children, and elderly residents had been sleeping. The Marines went room by room, throwing grenades and opening fire on the unarmed occupants. Nineteen civilians were killed. At no point were the Marines engaged by return fire.

Squad member Colonel Stephen Tatum had testified that in one dark bedroom, he joined Wuterich in firing upon small silhouettes. (FYI-’small silhouettes’ are children) Facing the court Tuesday, however, Wuterich insisted he “never fired any weapon at any women or children that day.” He also stated that although he was entering a guilty plea, he rejected the suggestion that it was an acknowledgement of wrongdoing by his squad or the chain-of-command. “In no way should my acceptance of responsibility ever be considered an indictment of the Marines or the commanders.” (If murdering God knows how many innocent men, women, and children, is not an indictment of the Marines, they what, pray tell is? Dropping two atomic bombs on innocent civilians? No, that was the Army/Air Force, not the Marines).

“The case doesn’t end with a bang, it ends with a whimper and a pretty weak whimper at that,” former Marine Corps prosecutor and judge Gary Solis commented to the Associated Press. “When you have 24 dead bodies and you get dereliction of duty, that’s pretty good defense work.” (FYI- that is not ‘pretty good defense work”, that is a cover up from the very top)

The announcement of the plea deal provoked outrage and statements of condemnation from Iraqis. “This is a disgraceful sentence for an inhuman crime that lines up with the Abu Ghraib scandal and the Nisour Square massacre,” Hussein Ali, an engineer in Baghdad, told Reuters. “History will mention this sentence and will show how the Americans have a black history that disrespects human blood.” (Imagine if you will, the reverse happening here in the US. How do you think you would feel if 24 men, women, and children were massacred out of pure vengeance? Especially knowing that the massacre and wanton killing of civilians, even if only a few at a time, were a common occurrence in the “liberated” town you lived in. Imagine if that was your wife and children, murdered in their beds. Just a thought.)

Khalid Salman, lawyer for the victims’ families in Haditha and cousin of one of those killed in the attack, said he was in disbelief over the sentence and had to double-check the news. “This is not a traffic felony,” he said. (No, because had it been a traffic penalty he would have paid a fine.) Another Haditha resident and relative of one of the victims told Reuters, “This sentence gives us the proof, the solid proof that the Americans don’t respect human rights… This is an insult to the victims and an insult to all Iraqis.” (Like it or not, this is how “they” see “us/US”, and how they view Christians.)

The outcome of the trial completes the effort of the military to tamp down the implications of the case. From the beginning, the story was presented as one of a chaotic firefight involving insurgents and an embattled Marine squad. After an outcry from relatives and witnesses, the military offered relatives settlements of $2,500 per victim. ($2,500, is adding insult to injury) The military regards civilian casualties as a cost of doing business, and that the Marines need to get “the job done” no matter what it takes, a 2007 investigation into the Haditha killings by Army Major General Eldon Bargewell concluded.This perspective, codified in official military policy, found expression in widespread killings of civilians. Indeed, over the eight years of official occupation, well over a million Iraqi civilians were killed.

Documents found in an Iraqi dump, retrieved by the New York Times last month as they were being burned, bear out Bargewell’s findings. Among the papers were statements given by military personnel on the Haditha massacre. “I mean, whether it’s a result of our action or other action, you know, discovering 20 bodies, throats slit, 20 bodies, you know, beheaded, 20 bodies here, 20 bodies there,” Col. Thomas Cariker, a commander in Anbar Province told investigators, describing the scope of the carnage.

Major General Steve Johnson, who was commander of US forces in Anbar Province at the time, stated dismissively that “it happened all the time … it was just the cost of doing business on that particular engagement.” Civilians were routinely shot down at checkpoints, other officers explained, when the men stationed as guards got edgy or confused. “I had Marines shoot children in cars and deal with the Marines individually one on one about it because they have a hard time dealing with that,” one officer testified. (A “hard time”? As I’ve said before, PTSD is a result of soldiers witnessing, and/ or actually killing innocent human beings. It also involves seeing and/or doing all of the horrors of war. It is especially doing these things which they do in clear violation of their God given conscience. It’s not “counseling” they need, but confession and repentance.

Brief Commentary

To those among you or even to those you know, be they friends or family, if you cast your vote for any of the Presidents and/or Representatives who voted for Iraq War 1, Iraq War 2, Afghanistan War (10 years and counting), Libya and the rest of the Middle East (CIA fomented) and now it would appear the soon bombing/missile attacks, and very possibly a ”targeted nuclear attack” on Iran’s “alleged” nuclear weapons facilities, please search your heart and the scriptures (which I have reiterated scores of times) to see if you have any culpability in this endless loss of life and destruction of whole countries.

The answer to this is simple if you base your conclusion on scripture… Yes. If the answer is yes, then please repent and tell your brethren who voted for these war criminals do all they can to bring scripture light and truth to others as well. I will not belabour the point, but if you find yourself searching the Old Testament and even the New Testament for scriptures that would seemingly contradict Gods Royal Law of Love to all men (think John 3:16 as a starting place), then you are wrestling the scriptures to your own destruction.

Jesus does not authorize the death and destruction innocent life. You will find nothing in the New Testament that authorizes Christians i.e. those who in truth follow Jesus and keep His commandments, to kill innocent people. Knowing these truths, if you fail to repent of your support for these Satanic Wars of Aggression and to Warn your brethren who through ignorance (as is the case with most) have supported said War Criminals and Agents of Satan, their blood will be upon your soul in the Day of Judgement. You yourself will not be held blameless, if you have not repented and washed your Garment of Righteousness in the Blood of the Lamb which is the ONLY THING that can save you.

If you are guilty of these sins and do not repent (or even if you do repent) and then blithely go on your way thinking that by “leading others to Christ” and “making disciples of them” (which usually ends up being “regular church attenders and especially 10% tithers), you are FAILING to Warn them of the very things which can and will Destroy their eternal souls. It is not enough to get someone saved and then watch them align themselves with the Satanic evils of this world and say NOTHING. How can you stand before God with clean hands and a pure heart if you countenance these things by your SILENCE?

If you think it is enough to get them delivered from the evils of Hollywood and sexual sins, to rail against homosexuality, to rant about those “evil Democrats”, and not warn them of the dangers of supporting war criminals and ipso facto all of the Death and Evil they perpetuate, you are walking in Deception. Am I going too far? Look at the photos attached and into the faces of the recipients of Americas wars and the Christians who support them, in its multitude of other rapacious sins which I don’t have time to go into, and ask yourself…Am I innocent? It their life as valuable as mine?

B’Man’s Rants: What Can Be Done To Fix The Country I Love?

Not Necessarily In Any Particular Order:

Conduct an immediate, independent investigation of 911 (all facets leading up to and after the event). Any and all conspirators and their operatives should be summarily executed upon any finding of guilt (for this would be obvious treason). Any person or organization found to have lied, misrepresented, or hid facts revolving what happened on that fateful day should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (members of the 911 Commission, Zelikow, Bush Admin officials, etc)

“Think Tanks” and other Elitist organizations with obvious blood lust as their mantra should be dismantled and those people held to scrutiny of truth by the American public. No think tank (nor its Zionist operatives,) should be allowed to organize and write battle plans for any military endeavor. No organization or persons should be allowed to blatantly lie about rationale to invade innocent lands and those who did should be prosecuted and held responsible for those lies.

End the “War on Drugs” immediately

End The Empire immediately

End all of wars – Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… and all proxy wars, coup attempts, and assassinations

Eliminate all off shore military (Empire) bases and bring each and every military personnel home

Eliminate all over-seas money (especially to Israel)

Allow all “Too-Big-To-Fail” banks/corporations to fail like the rest of us when we over-extend or bet away our security.

Abolish Corporate person-hood.

Never vote for a Republican or Democrat (nor any defectors from these parties when we clean house)

Re-balance the power structure of the US Government (Executive power has been increased to dictatorial levels, but to the demise of the congressional power. There should be no presidential “signing statements”. )

Enact campaign finance laws taking corporate money out of elections (heavily scrutinize and hold accountable donations sent to congress people who cater to the whims of that industry: ie; Marsha Blackburn’s heavy telecom money influences her votes regarding legislature that affects them).

Have Term Limits and use a proportional voting system (shorten Senator terms to 4 years and increase Congressional seats to 4)

Minimize congressional pay, retirement and medical benefits (none of these millionaires have done anything to deserve these huge benefits and payouts for the rest of their lives). This should be an honor to serve and no enriching, lifelong career move.

Disallow wives and family members from active participation in congressional matters (example: Max Baucus’ wife). Obvious conflict of interest.

Disallow insider trading of Congressmen (the Congress has 50 times more millionaires than regular citizens, per capita). These people can get inside information and buy/sell stocks. For you or I, this is illegal. For them, its enriching.

Stop the revolving doors of industry/government. Want to know why regulators don’t regulate? Their next employer (the one they are supposed to watch) won’t like it. Look no further than this devil to see why there needs to be no revolving doors (he is responsible for the Patriot Act, much of the Homeland Security apparatus, and untold other secret initiatives AND is an Israeli dual citizen… see next point).

Do not allow dual citizenship personnel to be in our government (there is but one allegiance to as an elected official in America and that is to AMERICA, not Israel, nor any OTHER country). Frankly, as opposed to the Senators who don’t even question such things, I don’t trust anyone who shows allegiance to two different masters. For such devotees can only hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other (Matt 6:24). They certainly cannot be trusted. Period.

Stop all foreign campaign finance and strongarming by lobbying groups whose allegiance is to another country (AIPAC, as an example). What a Zionist wants for America is NOT what is BEST for America, but is BEST for Israel and their world take-over agenda.

Mandatory disclosure of ALL personal information when running for elected office with exclusion and/or prosecution for those who refuse (never allow a dead beat draft dodger or Kenyan with a Connecticut birth certificate… having never actually lived in Connecticut… become leaders of this country).

Audit the FED… hold the thieves accountable… Close the Fed… enact a viable financial system where the government issues currency backed by precious metals (never allow a fiat currency in this country again)

Eliminate the IRS.

Eliminate personal and corporate income tax.

Eliminate the estate (death) tax.

Abolish Obama Care… implement Single Payer, Not-For-Profit healthcare. (Get the middle man insurance companies out of it.)

Immediately reduce Federal spending by 25%, minimum

Eliminate hundreds of unnecessary Federal agencies, including the FDA, Education, Dept of Agriculture, etc (not to mention all the pork and hidden payouts found deep inside bills)

Abolish the Department of Homeland Security and its entire apparatus (especially the TSA)

Repeal the Patriot Act

Prosecute, imprison or execute the ones (including George W Bush) who are responsible for torture to be conducted in our names. Prosecute and imprison any and all presidents who do not hold these murderers accountable, including Barack Obama. Obama, himself, should be held accountable for the murder of American citizens without a trial.

Balance the Budget

Secure our borders, pursue a sane immigration policy

I Bet W Wired Up Those Buildings…

How many of you have heard this as a retort when you ask questions about the demolitions of that day?

I have had conversations, level-headed, no screaming, sound judgment and clear-headed, and the best reply I get from quite a few is immediately building that straw man. Do I have to tell you how stupid it makes you look if you even ask that question?

First of all, W is too damned stupid to wire a lightbulb, much less a demolition. Second of all, why would anyone immediately suggest that the POTUS/King would dirty his own hands? It is deflection and diversion, of course. It may be outright complicity and hiding truth, but most of the conversations I have are with “right-wing” rednecks who seem to want to believe anything that comes from Rush Limpballs. Seriously, I believe that most are simply ignorant and do not WANT to believe that our own government would do such a thing.

Sadly, these people are going to be on their own and sitting in some camp someday (likely happy as a lark). That is, as long as they allow football and Nascar.

So, when a person begins to investigate who could have actually wired those buildings, one begins to find all sorts of “coincidental” connections. Weird shit like the George W Bush family connections to the security of the WTC complex. Paul Bremer’s active role in all of this BEFORE becoming the Czar of Iraq, taking his (and Giuliani’s) booty buddy, Keric with him.

Kevin Ryan was interviewed on Guns and Butter recently and I wanted to share the interview because it is the most thorough synopsis of the connections that made the wiring possible. The connections are amazing and certainly this SHOULD cause enough stir for another REAL investigation by some independent source (hopefully from another country). We cannot spend one more minute listening to the very same lying talking heads who either got us in the mess or protect the ones that did, providing themselves with even more power and MONEY.

When Bush Jr. Was Running For President

When W. Bush was running for the presidency, and some alleged “reporter” lobbed him the usual softball, “Mr. Bush, would you care to tell the American people what your administration’s plans for America’s future are?” Why couldn’t he have just come out with the TRUTH? What would have been so hard about saying:

Well, thank you for that question Sam, as a matter of fact, Mr. Cheney and I DO have a plan for the future of America! It goes something like this:

Several months after I am elected, after Mr. Cheney and I have done our best to surround ourselves with people who’s ties to Israel, oil interests, defense contractors, drug cartels and miscellaneous shadowy figures that go all the way back to dear old dad’s time at the CIA, we plan to arrange a horrific airliner terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, which we will INSURE THE SUCCESS OF by scheduling “air defense drills” to happen at the exact moment the real terror attacks are taking place, where NORAD will be made to STAND DOWN for 85 MINUTES! You might have read about this in the PNAC white paper that Mr. Cheney signed called “Rebuilding America’s Defenses“. In case you’re not up to speed on this document, it called for, among other things, a terror attack to happen on American soil like a “New Pearl Harbor” to frighten and swindle Americans into supporting an ultra-right wing Neocon war agenda, and also advocates the development and use of “Genome specific” biological weapons of mass destruction as a “politically useful tool”. Nice, huh?

One of Benjamin Netanyahu’s buddies, this Larry Silverstein guy who leases the WTC property will make about 3 BILLION DOLLARS off of the deal too, because he’ll up the terrorist insurance on the WTC complex right after he acquires it! Not a bad profit for a 2-month investment, eh? Access to SABOTAGE the buildings with THERMATE CUTTER CHARGES will be no problem either…. Larry’s hiring my brother Marvin Bush’s company to provide “security.” Ain’t that rich?

Wait, it gets better…. we’re gonna blame the whole thing on the ‘black sheep’ son of a FAMILY FRIEND and BUSINESS PARTNER named Bin Laden who will NEVER be captured even though we have satellites that can read his wristwatch from outer space! We’ll trot out a 2 minute “training video” of some turban wearing guys in tennis shoes running around in the desert with rifles, get our friends in the media to sell this whole bundle of horseshit to the American people….. Sam, I don’t have to tell you…. They’re pretty much brainwashed idiots, right? I mean, we’re talking about a bunch of people who ACTUALLY believe that 2 small fires can knock down a 47 story STEEL BUILDING! Thank God for THERMATE Sam, it cuts right through those 4-inch thick steel girders like a hot knife thru butter! Oh, and we’ll guard the cleanup site REAL GOOD, and prevent any real investigation into the matter of molten steel being found 5-6 WEEKS after the buildings fall…. Folks, don’t use KEROSENE (jet fuel) in your camp stoves, that shit’s DANGEROUS!

Ha ha ha…Whew, where was I…. Oh yeah, then we’re going to USE this event to VIRTUALLY ELIMINATE the civil liberties Americans take for granted with a DOCUMENT WE HAD PREPARED BEFORE 9/11 called the PATRIOT ACT.

We’re also going to take a page out of Germany’s history and establish a new government agency called the Office Of Fatherland…I mean Homeland…Security! The guy who eventually heads it will be an ISRAELI CITIZEN! (We DO have to give the impression of impartiality) They will issue terror alerts and scare the shit out of the public for a while…ORANGE ALERT! BOO! RED ALERT! BUY CIPRO!! Again, we have confidence in the STUPIDITY of the American people to not see thru this RUSE, which we will ABANDON after we feel it is no longer necessary. Are you getting all this?

Sam, we’re also going to INVADE and REMOVE a foreign leader from a sovereign nation, then LYNCH him, lie to the world about them having weapons of mass destruction, then USE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION OURSELVES on their civilians, women and children! Fun stuff like MK77 (Napalm), depleted Uranium ammunition and white phosphorous, or “Whisky Pete.” We don’t know how the radiation will affect our troops, but hey, we don’t care! Like Kissinger said: “Military men are dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy” We’ll let the American people foot the bill for their medical expenses! Oh, and we’ll be calling anyone who wants the same nuclear reactor generated electrical energy that The U.S. and Israel freely enjoy an AXIS OF EVIL, and anyone who opposes our new militaristic Fascism a TERRORIST! We’re fair like that!

Also Sam, we have plans in place to loot the treasury of trillions of dollars while we’re at it. Hell, BCCI was just a warmup to THIS deal we have planned!  We’ll overturn banking laws that enable predatory lending to take place, which will help push a real estate market bubble that will of course collapse, and our banker buddies will get bailed out by the taxpayers for their paper losses, and scoop up trillions of dollars in real estate in the bargain! We also plan to stand idly by as our Wall Street buddies sell packages of these junk loans around the world that have a completely BOGUS AAA rating, and just when everybody thinks the prosperity will never end, well…..we’ll end it, once again with the American taxpayer bailing out ONLY our rich Wall Street buddies while average Americans lose their homes and life savings! We call it the “New Deal For US, Not You.”

See Sam, the MAJORITY of Americans either believe whatever they see on that IDIOT BOX in their living rooms that is PROGRAMMED by the very people WE ENABLED THRU LEGISLATION to have these media monopolies, or are too busy/unconcerned/apathetic to care about the truth! We can persuade them to ridicule “conspiracy theories” as we peddle OUR OWN idiotic, unsubstantiated, covered-up, falsified, uninvestigated, evidence withheld and destroyed version!!! Plus, we are actively engaged in DIVIDING THE POPULACE on a daily basis….every “special interest” group is YET ANOTHER division in an ever more fractured electorate…. Pretty soon it will be just “Every Man For Himself.” African-Americans, Mexican Americans, Republicans, Democrats, the religious right, Gay-Americans, Feminists…. We love it!!! The more you all HATE EACH OTHER, the easier it is for us!!

The Mandate: Savage Austerity While Inflation Skyrockets

I think it is pretty obvious what is about to occur in this country. The unconscious American public is about to embark on massive changes to their social structure and welfare. We have basically fallen into the prescribed “sides” of the issues they want us divided into and have swallowed the bait and the hook is set.

Us “lefties” and you “righties” (or vice versa, whichever side you think we belong will suffice, for in reality it all means nothing) will go to the polls next Tuesday and we will vote for the lesser of two evils (AGAIN). The Republicans have hijacked the Tea Party making it nothing more than the Corporate Republican scalawags and you people have totally dumped the ideology that made you attractive to real patriots who are trying to change the system. How you could allow it is beyond me, but you did it. You let those fools co-opt you into becoming the same old Corporately fed, Zionist fawning, Imperial backing Republican Party that Dr Paul speaks AGAINST (but sadly won’t leave, making him moot, as well).

Then we have that other side of “Socialists” (yeah, right) that back a Kenyan infiltrator (lol) who is nothing but an extension of the last asshole that held that position. What if this austerity includes remaking the Social Security System, radically cutting benefits that are already far underfunded for normal life in America? What if that Medicare that you count on to keep you alive is stripped down to nothing? What if this austerity causes even more job losses in America and that we will NEVER recover the ones already lost?

We are about to embark upon the hardest times of your life (unless you are the mega-wealthy). Our elected officials are about to strip us of social programs that we count on and we will be left to fend for ourselves or die.

Corn is up 45 percent the last three months. We haven’t seen cotton prices this high since after the Civil War. Soybeans are up. Oil is up. Metals are up. So are coffee and cocoa.In this era of massive liquidity, everything is up, except for food prices—specifically processed food (made from many of the same commodities and other ingredients whose prices have risen).

According to the USDA, that is going to change. In its most recent CPI report for food, the USDA reported that prices are expected to rise in 2011.

For all food, prices are expected to rise two to three percent, which is double the levels of 2010. Meat prices are expected to rise up to 3.5 percent, and dairy 5.5 percent.

I also read from my home town weekly paper that a very small town in my home county has a Chief of police who is apologizing to residents over the weekly road blocks that they set up in town every Sunday (now becoming renowned for it). As I read thru the list of “arrests” it couldn’t be more clear what they are going after… weed smokers. The vast majority of the arrests were drug related and the biggest proportion, by far, was for marijuana. The fine for less than 1 ounce (1st offense in MS) is about $1,000. After everything is said, done and paid for, it might cost a person $1800 to handle it in court. Fine and dandy, except for the fact that it costs the country $2800 per case.

Not only are these people arresting young folks (ruining their lives) over a weed, they are losing money EVERY time they do it. And the tax payer yawns and scratches his hinder parts and turns on American Idol while sipping his illegal beer in that dry county.

Of course, nothing new on all the break ins and thefts. But never mind that. We stopped those hippies from smoking a little weed.

Look. I know I am experiencing my own hardships (no job, no prospect for a job), but I can’t bury my head. No matter how hard it gets, I believe I will be able to take care of my family utilizing my network I have been setting up for a couple of years (you know who you are). I am not totally prepared, but I have most of what we need to survive. So, I am not just some crazy person freaked out over my own circumstances. This shit is real, people. It is happening right before our eyes and we better be ready for it when it comes… for IT IS COMING.

#1 Corporate insiders are selling off stock at a blinding pace and are looking for the exits.  Alan Newman, the editor of the Crosscurrents newsletter, examined a number of the top performing stocks in the market including Google, Apple and Target and found that the ratio of corporate insider stock sold to corporate insider stock purchased over the last six months for those companies was 3,177 to 1.  At the group of firms that Newman looked at, corporate insiders had purchased 38,000 shares of stock over the last six months and yet had sold off over 120 million shares.

#2 Analysts at both Bank of America and Goldman Sachs both believe that the U.S. Federal Reserve is going to initiate a new round of quantitative easing in November.  It does not take a genius to figure out that this is very likely to push up inflation and have very serious consequences for the U.S. dollar.

#3 Economists at Goldman Sachs are projecting that the Fed will have to purchase at least $4 trillion in assets during this next round of quantitative easing to get the U.S. economy moving in a positive direction once again.

#4 In the United States today, there are 5,057 janitors with Ph.D.’s, other doctorates, or professional degrees.

#5 Investors have very little faith in the U.S. dollar (and in paper currencies in general) at this point.  Precious metals are soaring to obscene heights.  The price of gold has increased more than 20 percent in 2010.  The price of silver has skyrocketed about 40 percent this year.  These are not signs that indicate that the U.S. financial system is stable.

#6 Robin Griffiths, a technical strategist at Cazenove Capital, told CNBC on Monday that the U.S. dollar is in danger of becoming “toxic waste”.

Waterboarding For Dumbasses Like Conservative09

Of course I mean REAL waterboarding, not the kind you get your daughter to perform on you with a water pistol. From The TimesOnline:

Cheap, simple, and horribly effective, waterboarding dates back at least to the Spanish Inquisition as a way of extracting information by instilling extreme fear and pain without leaving visible marks.

The torture has come by many names — “tormenta de toca” to the Spanish Inquisitors, “showering” in 19th-century prisons, and “water cure” in the 20th century — and has taken many forms.

The technique, however, has hardly varied in the past 500 years. Its intention is to simulate slow drowning and terrify the victim into a confession.

In most instances, water is poured over the face and into the breathing passages, usually on to a cloth or plastic wrapping, causing the victim to feel that they are on the point of suffocation and death.

Torturers at the time of the Spanish Inquisition, in search of heretics, were particularly keen on using the toca — referring to the cloth placed over the victim’s mouth — with its echoes of Christian baptism.

Agents of the Dutch East India Company used a variation of waterboarding during the Amboyna Massacre of 1623 when twenty people, including ten employed by the British East India Company, were tortured and murdered.

In that case the torturers “poured the water softly upon his head until the cloth was full, up to the mouth and nostrils, and somewhat higher, so that he could not draw breath but he must suck in all the water”. The case prompted outrage in Britain.

Many of the world’s nastiest regimes have resorted to waterboarding, including the Gestapo and Kempeitai (the Japanese military police) during the Second World War, the Khmer Rouge, and the Pinochet regime, where the method was known, with grim euphemism, as “Asian torture”.

One waterboard used under Pol Pot, a flat board on which the victim was strapped, remains on display at the genocide museum in Cambodia. But the use of waterboarding is by no means restricted to rogue regimes.

The practice was technically illegal during the Vietnam War, but in 1968 The Washington Post ran a photograph of an American soldier taking part in the waterboarding of a captured Vietcong fighter, and described the technique as “fairly common”. The image led to a military investigation and the soldier was court-martialled and dismissed.

The technique of “slow motion drowning” inflicts intense mental and physical suffering, and can cause severe long-term damage to the lungs and brain, but it leaves no obvious physical marks on the body. As well as being deniable, this form of torture may be inflicted repeatedly.

There is also no doubt that waterboarding works, to the extent that it producing confessions. Whether the information extracted is of any value is more doubtful. A person on the point of drowning may tell the truth, or simply what he thinks the torturer wants to hear to stop the ordeal.

America Does NOT Torture: Except When We Torture

The Prison Industrial Complex can be the sole or largest employer in a small community, so they provide jobs to guards. The local population complains little because the prison is the mainstay of the community (it is true of this community).

The fact is that torture is used within the walls of our jails and prisons daily. Not only that, but I have witnessed young men transform from rambunctious teenagers who were found with pot, into hardened criminals, even though they never did anything to harm a soul. I know one man a couple of years younger than me that had a problem with prescription pills. His dependency caused him to spend many years in jails and prison, and he is the meekest, nicest guy in the world who never hurt anyone and couldn’t get help with his addiction.

He is a three time loser who the local sheriff says is a waste of humanity. He wasn’t until the prisons got ahold of him.

Lab Rat- Waterboarding

And no, I ain’t talking about having your friends come over with cookies and pouring water over your face (without the rag and tying oneself to an inclined board). Conservative09 thinks that by allowing his 5 year old daughter to pour water on his face, he has experienced water boarding…Clueless chump.

The Lab Rat was prepped… training in Yoga and was ready to go 15 seconds. But the reality is that this IS torture (no matter what the man in the hood or any fool like Conservative09 says).

What these people don’t seem to understand is that torture can be nothing more than a mind game. It does not have to be physical pain or bringing blood, etc. But, in this case, I believe that it is, in fact, torture. Any rational person without a protectorate plan for the torturers would have to agree.

Let me ask a simple question regarding torture: If a person showed you a movie of your torturer (or anyone else for that matter) inflicting pain or killing your 5 year old daughter, would that be torture? It didn’t bring blood or pain to you, so it can’t be torture, right?

The faux conservative who spouted off about having his waterboarding done at home (let me guess, your 5 year old poured the water) and has argued against torture, all-the-while regurgitating the right wing talking points as if they were true, must come to Jesus on the latest in a string of events that prove what a retarded asshole he is.

Dick Cheney says that torturing detainees has saved American lives. That claim is patently false. Cheney’s torture policy was directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of American servicemen and women.

Matthew Alexander was the senior military interrogator for the task force that tracked down Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq and, at the time, a higher priority target than Osama bin Laden. Mr. Alexander has personally conducted hundreds of interrogations and supervised over a thousand of them.

“Torture does not save lives. Torture costs us lives,” Mr. Alexander said in an exclusive interview at Brave New Studios. “And the reason why is that our enemies use it, number one, as a recruiting tool…These same foreign fighters who came to Iraq to fight because of torture and abuse….literally cost us hundreds if not thousands of American lives.”

1 Waterboard, 1 Cheney, 1 Hour = Admittance To ANY Crime

Conservative09 keeps coming back for more and to argue that his “water boarding” that he received by his friends at his home was not torture. That all the people in SERE, the CIA and whatever reporters who have actually taken the water boarding technique have not been tortured. Basically, it is like a refreshing dip in the pool.

The dude is so wrong on so many levels , but has apparently convinced himself that what he “experienced” was no big deal and that the water boarding that has been done to the “terrorists” in our charge is not torture. Somehow there is this vast disconnect that he has with reality if he believes what happened to him is the same thing that happened to our prisoners.

My argument is that asking your friends and trusted companions to water board you is not the same thing as has been done to the prisoners in our and the secret jails we used for torture. That he didn’t experience weeks or months of fear and stress positions and bug boxes and threats to rape their wife and whatever horrible tactics are used on the REAL prisoners before he wet his head.

Sorry, but it takes a total sycophantic idiot to not get it. And Conservative09 certainly don’t get it. No more than Bush, Cheney, Yoo, Bybee, Pelosi or anyone who knew about the practice gets it.

But I asked him to allow me (or better yet, some people that I know) to grab his ass and do the water baording and I gauranteed him he would sing his heart out, begging to stop the real torture.

B’Man’s Sabbath Watch: Torturing Church Goers

I know that I felt tortured during more than one sermon… but I digress.

You have probably heard about the Pew Center Survey that showed that Christians don’t have much of a problem with torturing other people. The more often you go, the more likely for you to endorse it.

See the interactive results of the poll here. The survey asked specifically:

“Do you think the use of torture against suspected terrorists in order to gain important information can often be justified, sometimes be justified, rarely be justified, or never be justified?”

Roughly half of all respondents — 49 percent — said it is often or sometimes justified. A quarter said it never is.

The more often Americans go to church, the more likely they are to support the torture of suspected terrorists, according to a new survey.

More than half of people who attend services at least once a week — 54 percent — said the use of torture against suspected terrorists is “often” or “sometimes” justified. Only 42 percent of people who “seldom or never” go to services agreed, according to the analysis released Wednesday by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life.

White evangelical Protestants were the religious group most likely to say torture is often or sometimes justified — more than six in 10 supported it. People unaffiliated with any religious organization were least likely to back it. Only four in 10 of them did.

The analysis is based on a Pew Research Center survey of 742 American adults conducted April 14-21. It did not include analysis of groups other than white evangelicals, white non-Hispanic Catholics, white mainline Protestants and the religiously unaffiliated, because the sample size was too small.

Yep, and its the whities, by and large. Imagine that. More white Christians endorse torture than others. Only one in eight “Evangelicals” (you know, the ones who are REALLY worried about your soul) would be against it. This explains so very much when it comes to your inactivity and nonchalance of what is and has always been known as atrocious torture. I don’t know if Con09 is a Christian, but I would be almost willing to bet he is.

Conservative09 (The Fake Conservative) Has Lost His Mind

You may have remembered the dude calling himself Conservative09 who rears his head every now and again. Well, I tried to reach out and discuss something with the guy, especially about torture and it led to various posts at his place and comments here where he was challenged (I guess) to look into water boarding and to determine if it was torture and thus, war crimes.

He sent me this today in an email (with his letter to a newspaper attached: read it at his blog, if you like) and either this dude has totally succumbed to some mental deficiency or he is “getting my goat“. For I simply cannot believe that any rational person could write such idiocy and expect any serious consideration.

By the way, I had the chance to be waterboarded.  I could say it isn’t torture after that experience, and I will.  I coughed a lot, but it felt like coming up for air after wrestling with someone under water.  Hell, I did it at home.  That is how available it is.  Sure, it isn’t exactly the same thing, but it’s close, for now.  I did not use the cloth or plastic wrap; I don’t understand why it is even there.  I would think pouring water directly onto the face is worse, right? I know how hard it is to believe someone else on a political issue until you’ve seen what they’ve seen, and in this situation it’s hard unless you’ve experienced what the other person has experienced.  If you do get the chance to be waterboarded under controlled conditions, go for it.  Seriously.

Do you seriously believe that you experienced “water boarding” in your experiment? Will you say or imagine any sort of crazy assed bullshit to defend something? Or are you really an insane asshole who has evaded mental help who’s family and neighbors are in danger?

Do you think anyone, even a person who has actually conducted real water boarding (or even Dick Cheney, himself) would say what you did to yourself, at home, was water boarding?

IF you were ever actually a prisoner who had experienced whatever goes on in interragation and harsh treatment via stress positions, cold and 11 sleepless nights (who knows what)… and you were the “ticking timebomb” person being water boarded, there is not a chance in hell you would say that what you “did at home” (God, I cannot believe that someone could actually write such shit) would be remotely the same as water boarding. Incredible naivety and stupidity.

Jonathon Turley posts about how lucrative it is in the Torture Business for the “Doctors” involved.

I mean, shit: why would anyone ever want a regular physician’s practice when you can make money like this and still get your rocks off as people are tortured before your very eyes? Think about it: no insurance to deal with, all your paperwork is handled by the Government, surely pretty decent hours and only the occasional death to deal with.

According to ABCNews, either Jessen or Mitchell were previously involved in interrogations and had simply been used in the training of pilots to prepare them for capture and interrogation. They were reportedly paid $1000 a day to lend their endorsement to the torture program — that comes to a rate of roughly $360,000 a year as torture consultants, not bad wages in the world torture market.
