Talmud Defenders Must Lie and Obfuscate To Cover The Insidious Texts

Posted by BuelahMan on March 26, 2012

Thank goodness for people like Mr Hoffman who can intelligently call  them on the BS. They call him a history revisionist, when history is already revised to fit support of Jews and Zionism:

Christian scholar Michael Hoffman’s reply to Dr. Asaf Yedidya’s lecture at Oxford University, “Nazi Attacks on the Talmud: Anti-Semitic Readings of Jewish Texts.”

A video of this lecture was online as of March 18, 2012 on the website:

www.chabad.org/multimedia/media_cdo/aid/1801054/jewish/Nazi-Attacks-on-the-Talmud.htm

In his reply, Hoffman points out the use of misdirection and censored texts in the Oxford lecture and the numerous errors and omissions employed to demonize Talmud critics and whitewash the Babylonian Talmud. Hoffman documents Talmudic racism and permission for homicide by quoting from the Gemara itself, as well as rabbinic authorities having the status of Posek Ha-dor and Gadol Ha-dor.

Michael Hoffman is the author of the Amazon Kindle book, “Judaism Discovered” and a condensed paperback version for the general reader, “Judaism’s Strange Gods.”

Understand that the superiority complex is instilled in many Jews from a very young age. Realize where this comes from when they tell you they are not observant or even are atheist. Religious texts and common holidays , such as Purim (which are based upon religious stories), are still rooted in the “religion”. This doesn’t make a Jew anyone’s enemy, but it explains a lot about the why’s and how’s. Insist on them deciding if ‘being Jewish’ is a race or religion, then point out that if it is a ‘race’, that they sure don’t look like the people from Palestine, but more like Europeans. If they insist that it is a religion, point out that their “Holiest Texts” are also some of the most vile, racist, murder instructing, world domineering writings to have ever been published and that their religion reflects those books to a T.

The ‘religion’ allows them to set themselves apart, to belittle anyone and everyone (especially Muslims because they want their land, but also Christians to use as their slaves and underlings) and to use others in their domination. Any elementary examination of their own religious writings confirms this, so your accusations of lies and anti-Semitism are malarkey. And using the word ‘domination’ is not over-doing it, either. Look at anything they get their hands on (movies, information, TV, education, politics, etc) and you see how they have infiltrated them all and rule the category.

How is that possible?

Either the 3% of the population number is a complete  hoax or there is some other means (money, connections, tribal unity… whatever) that allow them to flourish and gain controlling footholds within our society. It is impossible for 3% of the population to have such a significant directory influence without some help.

Granted, much of the help comes from ignorant Christians who are hell-bent on becoming popular or a part of the control mechanism. Much of the help comes from the hijacked Christian faith/teachings which disallow any scrutiny of Judaism, and especially Zionism (for those two things are hardly the same) and to bring Jesus back and force Armageddon. These people need to understand what the driving factor is.

Another point that always seems incredulous to many is that it seems evident that most of history is revised from the truth. Howard Zinn’s (a Jew, himself) book, “A People’s History of the United States” discusses many points along history where the official narrative is a lie. How the New World was found, conquered (along with the American west). Revising history is the game plan for those who control what they want to be known about the world and obviously to misdirect from the truth for whatever reason they have.

Various stories of the Bible cannot be confirmed, except via that book. Reasons given for wars are lies. False flag events that are hidden from the public come out in the open when many of the culprits are dead. Etc, etc, etc.

So, why would we believe everything about the Jews’ brand of history (which hides significant issues and uses deceit to sway people to support them). Should we question the Biblical narratives when local history and/or science cannot confirm the stories? Shouldn’t we pursue truth, no matter where it leads?

Notice the date from this publication on the front page of Britain's Daily Express, March 24, 1933 (6 years before WWII)

You can read the text of that paper here.

This brings me to one of the hardest subjects that I have ever covered here. Should we question the Holocaust? I know many will recoil from even my “questioning” all the “facts” regarding this subject, but is that because you KNOW its true or that you were not told the whole truth to begin with? And, if it is evident that history lies, as has been shown over and over again (usually its the conquerors who get to write the history books), why NOT question the Holocaust? Did it even happen. If so, to what extent?

Watch this for a good example of why some detail must be false regarding portions of the Holocaust storyline (and this barely scratches the surface of this subject):

From The Barnes Review…

Dean Irebodd’s “Auschwitz: The Surprising Hidden Truth”

Auschwitz—this is the infamous wartime camp in Poland where the Germans are said to have killed at least one million Jews in homicidal gas chambers, misusing the insecticide called “Zyklon B.” Auschwitz has become a buzzword for the Holocaust. It is said to have been the epicenter of this mother of all genocides. Here, the Germans are said to have employed their engineering ingenuity in order to mass murder their helpless victims in an industrial fashion with the highest efficiency possible. First they were shoved into chemical slaughthouses by the thousands, then their corpses were burned in rapid sequence in crematory ovens

But does that story stand up to scrutiny? This video looks into some of the common claims made by survivors about what happened at Auschwitz. Some of the questions asked in this context are: Was it possible to fill the gas chambers with victims as it is claimed? Would the Jews, supervised only by other Jews, have cooperated in their own mass slaughter? What doors were used to lock in 2,000 Jews struggling for their lives? How efficient was the cremation process really? How many Auschwitz inmates left the camp alive to tell the world what they had seen?

This video gives the answers to these and to other questions, backed-up by documents and expert testimony. The results are astounding, if not to say: shocking. The discrepancies between survivor claims on the one hand and technical as well as physical reality on the other hand reveal the surprising truth about Auschwitz, which is not what most people think it is.

Watch this video, and you’ll see the world around you with different eyes!

Note: This video has been peer-reviewed by two leading experts on the Holocaust in order to ascertain the accuracy of its contents. It includes a written appendix with sources and a written discussion of issues omitted or merely briefly touched upon in the movie.

B’Man’s Guest Post Sabbath Watch: The Fruit Of Lies And Hypocrisy

Posted by BuelahMan on February 5, 2012

Submitted by Don Lucas (please reference the original article found at WSWS.org):

Brothers and Sisters

Lies are lies, and they all bear bad fruit. This is not going to be another little history lesson. Below is what happens when lies are told. This actually happened and it is NOT an isolated case. I have sent several articles on this subject and if you have read them you will know that what happened in the copied  article below is common. You just won’t find it on the news unless for some reason it develops a life of its own.
“Common” i.e. “it happened all the time” is how this incident was described by Major General Steve Johnson. I will have a few brief words to say at the conclusion of the article.

No prison time for Marine charged in Haditha massacre

By Naomi Spencer
25 January 2012

As part of a plea deal, Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, leader of a Marine squad responsible for the 2005 slaughter of 24 Iraqi civilians, will spend no time in a military prison. Wuterich, 31, pleaded guilty on January 23 to a single charge of negligent dereliction of duty for his role in the massacre in Haditha and its subsequent cover-up.

The Marine faced a sentencing hearing Tuesday at Camp Pendleton, California. Previously indicted on unpremeditated murder charges in 19 of the 24 civilian deaths, counts carrying a maximum sentence of 152 years in prison, Wuterich was allowed to walk free. He still faces possible reduction in pay and rank. (OMG, not a possible reduction in pay and rank!! Jeez, it was only 24 innocent civilians.) During proceedings Monday, the court did not discuss a discharge for Wuterich, who has remained on active duty since the massacre.

The Haditha case was the longest running criminal prosecution against military personnel involved in the Iraq War and Wuterich was the last man among the original eight facing charges in the case. Six other Marines had charges dismissed, and one Marine was acquitted.

The plea agreement of Wuterich brings the three-and-a-half-week long court martial to a close, thereby suppressing more details about the killings, one of the worst atrocities committed by US soldiers against civilians since the My Lai massacre in Vietnam. (Remember, My Lai was a common occurrence too. It just happened to make the papers, the same as this atrocity)

As in other atrocity cases related to the US occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan—among them the Abu Ghraib torture case, the Blackwater killings of Baghdad’s Nisour Square, the Afghan “kill team,” and others—the outcome of the Haditha killings absolves higher level military and government figures of any responsibility for the consequences of policies (CYA) that low-ranking military personnel carry out.Like the massacre itself, the outcome of the case underscores the criminal character of the wars and the political establishment behind them.

Wuterich pleaded guilty to the minor charge of negligent dereliction of duty for ordering the squad to “shoot first and ask questions later” on the night of November 19, 2005.

Although the rampage began after a convoy in which the Marines were traveling was struck by a roadside bomb, testimony of the men make clear that Wuterich and others were knowingly slaughtering innocent bystanders with no provocation.

Sergeant Sanick Dela Cruz, a young corporal at the time of the massacre, testified earlier this month that he witnessed Wuterich order four teen aged students and a taxi driver out of a passing cab, then execute them as they knelt in a position of surrender. Dela Cruz, who had been granted immunity in exchange for his testimony, said he and others riddled the victims with bullets as they lay on the ground, then urinated on their corpses. Afterward, Dela Cruz told the jury, Wuterich ordered him to lie about the killings, concocting a story involving the victims running away and coming under fire by Iraqi soldiers.

After the street shooting, Wuterich ordered the squad on a sweep of three nearby houses, where families including many women, children, and elderly residents had been sleeping. The Marines went room by room, throwing grenades and opening fire on the unarmed occupants. Nineteen civilians were killed. At no point were the Marines engaged by return fire.

Squad member Colonel Stephen Tatum had testified that in one dark bedroom, he joined Wuterich in firing upon small silhouettes. (FYI-’small silhouettes’ are children) Facing the court Tuesday, however, Wuterich insisted he “never fired any weapon at any women or children that day.” He also stated that although he was entering a guilty plea, he rejected the suggestion that it was an acknowledgement of wrongdoing by his squad or the chain-of-command. “In no way should my acceptance of responsibility ever be considered an indictment of the Marines or the commanders.” (If murdering God knows how many innocent men, women, and children, is not an indictment of the Marines, they what, pray tell is? Dropping two atomic bombs on innocent civilians? No, that was the Army/Air Force, not the Marines).

“The case doesn’t end with a bang, it ends with a whimper and a pretty weak whimper at that,” former Marine Corps prosecutor and judge Gary Solis commented to the Associated Press. “When you have 24 dead bodies and you get dereliction of duty, that’s pretty good defense work.” (FYI- that is not ‘pretty good defense work”, that is a cover up from the very top)

The announcement of the plea deal provoked outrage and statements of condemnation from Iraqis. “This is a disgraceful sentence for an inhuman crime that lines up with the Abu Ghraib scandal and the Nisour Square massacre,” Hussein Ali, an engineer in Baghdad, told Reuters. “History will mention this sentence and will show how the Americans have a black history that disrespects human blood.” (Imagine if you will, the reverse happening here in the US. How do you think you would feel if 24 men, women, and children were massacred out of pure vengeance? Especially knowing that the massacre and wanton killing of civilians, even if only a few at a time, were a common occurrence in the “liberated” town you lived in. Imagine if that was your wife and children, murdered in their beds. Just a thought.)

Khalid Salman, lawyer for the victims’ families in Haditha and cousin of one of those killed in the attack, said he was in disbelief over the sentence and had to double-check the news. “This is not a traffic felony,” he said. (No, because had it been a traffic penalty he would have paid a fine.) Another Haditha resident and relative of one of the victims told Reuters, “This sentence gives us the proof, the solid proof that the Americans don’t respect human rights… This is an insult to the victims and an insult to all Iraqis.” (Like it or not, this is how “they” see “us/US”, and how they view Christians.)

The outcome of the trial completes the effort of the military to tamp down the implications of the case. From the beginning, the story was presented as one of a chaotic firefight involving insurgents and an embattled Marine squad. After an outcry from relatives and witnesses, the military offered relatives settlements of $2,500 per victim. ($2,500, is adding insult to injury) The military regards civilian casualties as a cost of doing business, and that the Marines need to get “the job done” no matter what it takes, a 2007 investigation into the Haditha killings by Army Major General Eldon Bargewell concluded. This perspective, codified in official military policy, found expression in widespread killings of civilians. Indeed, over the eight years of official occupation, well over a million Iraqi civilians were killed.

Documents found in an Iraqi dump, retrieved by the New York Times last month as they were being burned, bear out Bargewell’s findings. Among the papers were statements given by military personnel on the Haditha massacre. “I mean, whether it’s a result of our action or other action, you know, discovering 20 bodies, throats slit, 20 bodies, you know, beheaded, 20 bodies here, 20 bodies there,” Col. Thomas Cariker, a commander in Anbar Province told investigators, describing the scope of the carnage.

Major General Steve Johnson, who was commander of US forces in Anbar Province at the time, stated dismissively that “it happened all the time … it was just the cost of doing business on that particular engagement.” Civilians were routinely shot down at checkpoints, other officers explained, when the men stationed as guards got edgy or confused. “I had Marines shoot children in cars and deal with the Marines individually one on one about it because they have a hard time dealing with that,” one officer testified. (A “hard time”? As I’ve said before, PTSD is a result of soldiers witnessing, and/ or actually killing innocent human beings. It also involves seeing and/or doing all of the horrors of war. It is especially doing these things which they do in clear violation of their God given conscience. It’s not “counseling” they need, but confession and repentance.

Brief Commentary

To those among you or even to those you know, be they friends or family, if you cast your vote for any of the Presidents and/or Representatives who voted for Iraq War 1, Iraq War 2, Afghanistan War (10 years and counting), Libya and the rest of the Middle East (CIA fomented) and now it would appear the soon bombing/missile attacks, and very possibly a ”targeted nuclear attack” on Iran’s “alleged” nuclear weapons facilities, please search your heart and the scriptures (which I have reiterated scores of times) to see if you have any culpability in this endless loss of life and destruction of whole countries.

The answer to this is simple if you base your conclusion on scripture… Yes. If the answer is yes, then please repent and tell your brethren who voted for these war criminals do all they can to bring scripture light and truth to others as well. I will not belabour the point, but if you find yourself searching the Old Testament and even the New Testament for scriptures that would seemingly contradict Gods Royal Law of Love to all men (think John 3:16 as a starting place), then you are wrestling the scriptures to your own destruction.

Jesus does not authorize the death and destruction innocent life. You will find nothing in the New Testament that authorizes Christians i.e. those who in truth follow Jesus and keep His commandments, to kill innocent people. Knowing these truths, if you fail to repent of your support for these Satanic Wars of Aggression and to Warn your brethren who through ignorance (as is the case with most) have supported said War Criminals and Agents of Satan, their blood will be upon your soul in the Day of Judgement. You yourself will not be held blameless, if you have not repented and washed your Garment of Righteousness in the Blood of the Lamb which is the ONLY THING that can save you.

If you are guilty of these sins and do not repent (or even if you do repent) and then blithely go on your way thinking that by “leading others to Christ” and “making disciples of them” (which usually ends up being “regular church attenders and especially 10% tithers), you are FAILING to Warn them of the very things which can and will Destroy their eternal souls. It is not enough to get someone saved and then watch them align themselves with the Satanic evils of this world and say NOTHING. How can you stand before God with clean hands and a pure heart if you countenance these things by your SILENCE?

If you think it is enough to get them delivered from the evils of Hollywood and sexual sins, to rail against homosexuality, to rant about those “evil Democrats”, and not warn them of the dangers of supporting war criminals and ipso facto all of the Death and Evil they perpetuate, you are walking in Deception. Am I going too far? Look at the photos attached and into the faces of the recipients of Americas wars and the Christians who support them, in its multitude of other rapacious sins which I don’t have time to go into, and ask yourself…Am I innocent? It their life as valuable as mine?

Your comments are welcome.

God bless you,

don

B’Man’s Sabbath Watch: There ARE Laws For That…

Posted by BuelahMan on November 20, 2011

For Zion's Sake

Why do you rednecks still feel obligation to support Israel? Is it because you are still listening to the craziest preachers (“snapper” is a doozy) saying that the Bible tells you so. (Snapper gets his nickname from his practice of snapping his fingers next to the lapel mic whenever he tries to make a point.) I watched him snap points twenty or thirty times in a sermon.

This “man of God” believes (and many of my fellow rednecks seem to agree) that:

Hagee has denounced replacement theology, believing that chapters 9-11 of the book of Romans teaches that the Jews have continuing favor with God by the election of grace. He believes the Bible commands Christians to support the State of Israel and the Jewish people even though he has uttered remarks that some have interpreted as antisemitic.[18][19]

Because the land now known as Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank was ruled by the Ottoman Turks prior to World War I, then controlled by the British, and later partitioned under United Nations mandate, Hagee argues that the land does not belong to the Arabs, and that the name “Palestine” (deriving from that of the ancient Philistines) was imposed by the Roman EmperorHadrian to punish the Jews for their revolt against the Roman Empire. Hagee maintains there is no Palestinian language and no historic Palestinian nation.

Hagee supports an American-Israeli pre-emptive military strike on Iran.

Boy ole boy, he really does believe that Israel and Jews are very special. So special, in fact, that he has been the only gentile to ever receive the San Antonio B’nai B’rith Council’s “Humanitarian of the Year” award. THAT is saying a lot, because as it turns out, Jews have very special laws regarding gentiles that would seem to make such an award to snapper an impossiblity:

Gosh, B’Man, why did you share that anti-Semitic video with us?

Lord knows that we are supposed to support Jews in anything and everything they do, no matter how anti-Christ it might be. Who could blame snapper for just doing what the Bible tells us to do, right?

Well, ole snapper is SOOO good at supporting Israel that there is a special section at wiki addressing this singular point and it shows just how much he has done for Israel, Judaism (and himself):

Hagee was presented the Zionist Organization of America‘s Israel Award by U.N. Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick. This award was given by the Jewish Community of Dallas, Texas.[28] He was presented the ZOA Service Award by Texas Governor Mark White. Houston Mayor Kathryn J. Whitmire issued a special proclamation in his honor, declaring Pastor John C. Hagee Day.[29]

Hagee has been to Israel 22 times and has met with every Prime Minister of Israel since Menachem Begin. John Hagee Ministries has given more than $8.5 million to bring Soviet Jews from the former Soviet Union to Israel. Hagee is the Founder and Executive Director of “A Night to Honor Israel,” an event that expresses solidarity between Christians and Jews on behalf of Jerusalem, the State of Israel, and the United States.[30]

On February 7, 2006, Hagee and 400 leaders from the Christian and Jewish communities formed a new national organization called Christians United for Israel (CUFI).[31] This organization addresses members of the United States Congress, professing a Biblical justification for the defense of Israel.

Hagee was the primary early funding source for the Israeli Zionist group Im Tirtzu[32], which has pressured Israeli academics it accuses of being anti-Zionist and lobbied to have their funding cut for their political views.

You see, a little moolah will turn a wife-dumping, money-loving “preacher man” into a shill for Zionism, Israel and their insatiable desire to grow Israel into “Greater Israel”.

Too bad we don’t have laws against such a thing or that we do not enact laws similar to what the Jews use against us. You know: an eye for an eye?

Tell me: Is “Swiek” a Jewish surname?

Murfreesboro — Smurfeezboro

Knoxville News Sentinel Editorial March 3 2011: regarding the article about the upcoming legislation regarding No Muslims allowed in Tennessee

A bill in the Tennessee Legislature that would basically outlaw Islam in Tennessee is obviously unconstitutional and an embarrassment to the entire state.
State Sen. Bill Ketron, R-Murfreesboro, the legislation’s sponsor, should withdraw the odious bill and issue an apology to all state residents, Muslims in particular.
The bill ostensibly addresses terrorism but in reality outlaws a religion. That’s unacceptable, unsupportable and unconscionable. It’s also unconstitutional on a variety of fronts.
Ketron’s bill would require the state attorney general to label any organization that advocates adherence to Shariah, the Muslim religious and legal proscriptions, as a terrorist group. The organization’s finances would be frozen immediately and members could face felony charges that could result in as many as 15 years in prison. Employees, presumably including school teachers and administrative assistants, are specifically targeted for possible prosecution.
A disclaimer that the law doesn’t apply to peaceful followers of Islam is laughable.
Based on the Quran, examples drawn from the life of Muhammad and a long history of scholarly thought, Shariah is more than a set of laws. It also instructs Muslims how to practice their faith.
All Muslims follow Shariah – which, like Christian and Jewish traditions, has conservative, moderate, liberal and fundamentalist interpretations – to some degree. Every Muslim organization can be construed as a Shariah organization, so the bill simply would outlaw Islam.
The bill also would set up the state attorney general as a grand inquisitor, giving the office sole authority to designate an outlaw organization using secret evidence out of the scrutiny of the public. Organizations wouldn’t be able to appeal the designation for two years.
Jailing Tennessee residents for practicing a religion is terrible to contemplate. The bill is repugnant and runs counter to America’s tolerance of all religious faiths. The Constitution forbids the enactment of a law that would interfere with the free exercise of religion, and Islam is one of the world’s oldest faiths.
The bill didn’t originate in Tennessee. According to the Associated Press, the Tennessee Eagle Forum gave the bill’s text to Ketron and House Speaker Pro Tempore Judd Matheny, R-Tullahoma. Eagle Forum state President Bobbie Patray told the AP it was drafted by David Yerushalmi, an Arizona-based attorney who runs the Society of Americans for National Existence, a nonprofit that claims following Shariahh is treasonous.
If the bill does become law, a court challenge is all but certain. Gadeir Abbas, a staff attorney for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, was quoted in the Tennessean as saying at an interfaith protest rally in Nashville on Tuesday that his organization would file a lawsuit the instant the governor signs the bill.
Christians, Jews and followers of other religious faiths, plus those who follow no religion, should join in denouncing this bill. Legislators should condemn it, too. Gov. Bill Haslam should announce plans to veto the legislation should lawmakers pass it.
Religious liberty is at the core of American values. Ketron’s bill poses a threat to those values and must be defeated.

Zionism: Satan Hijacking Our Jewish Religion

Posted by BuelahMan on November 27, 2010

OK, Wow! Greg has a great post up today at the Goon Squad and it speaks about a little ditty running around in my head and I need to spew my rhetoric about it while its hot. He first discusses how history is found (AGAIN) to have been manipulated into bald-faced lies for us gullible and Sheople-like Americans. Please read the entire thing and watch the video to see how propaganda and government sponsored lies are the general rule in how we are communicated with by our “leaders”.

In the example of this title I used, Greg was quoting the response from Rose Rabbinovich’s answer to inquires about how to find a speech that her grandfather, Rabbi Rabbinovich, had written long before. This correlates with something that I have not been able to fully get my head around, the arguably “forged” The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion.

I have read thru much of this in various places and I must say that I was never able to fully determine if it was real or not, but I did determine that if it is, those people who wrote and now the ones that now follow it like a recipe from Martha Stewart, are nutcases. And even if it is not real, there are still maniacs that seem to follow the protocols like a “T”. But perhaps you should read more on the intro note from Rose:

One question which was repeated in many of the emails to me was: ‘How can we find the full Rabbinovich speech?’

I searched the Internet, but all websites with Rabbi Rabbinovich speech have been ‘cleaned up’ or blocked (I assume by the Zionists, as usual). Since I remember hearing from my grandfather about this speech already in the fifties, I decided to contact my Rabbi. He searched his favourite website http://abbc.com/ and found the full article. I am enclosing here the full speech by Rabbi Rabbinovich (Rabinovich).
Some of the email I received claimed that The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion are a forgery.

To this I have five comments:

1. If it is a ‘forgery’, it implies that there is an original somewhere, WHERE IS IT? WHO WROTE IT?

2. Whether it is a forgery or not IS IRRELEVANT for the simple reason that our Zionist ‘Jewish’ ‘brothers’ have already implemented most, if not all of it. That is a fact. Every Jew who reads the Protocols knows that it was written by Jews, NO ONE ELSE could have written them.

3. The gentiles are really stupid (sorry), until now, they did not realise yet that the Zionists essentially control them.

4. It is VERY sad that most honest and honorable Jewish thinkers and intellectuals’ articles are posted today on Moslem websites only.

5. As a person who grew up on Jewish ethics, I am at a great loss and shame to see our Zionist Rabbis justifying the present Moslem holocaust in the name of God and our Jewish religion. One thing I am sure of, if there is God, he is NOT ‘Zionistically’ Jewish. After reading many non-Zionists Jewish websites, I started believing as do many Rabbis in New York, that Zionism is: Satan hijacking our Jewish religion.

(The last highlight is mine for effect)

The Rabbi’s entire speech can be read here.

Greg goes on the highlight how Zionism has basically hijacked much of the world’s governments at one time or another and have implemented steps to bring us precisely to the point of turmoil we find ourselves in today. A case in point is this video that references Australia and how apparently, Zionism has infiltrated their government, as well:

Besides the fact that those people seemed to be going out of their way to demonize the very same questions that any thinking person whould have about 9/11, is it just me, or are they actively protecting someone? I mean, what if these people knew who did it (and, of course, they do KNOW exactly who did it)? It is no secret that that several Jews were arrested after they were seen celebrating the plane crashes into the WTC buildings (High 5′s and all). You will see down in a video below that these very same people were detained, then released after being “cleared”. But listen to them inthe second part of the video series below to see what they were doing there that fateful day. Then get back to me about how I am imagining this shit, ok?

Greg also explains that Zionistic Jews are some of the world’s most ruthless killers and are hell-bent on dominion of the planet. He shares with us how it was Zionist Jews that infiltrated the Soviet Union and were the main killers (which makes the Nazi Holocaust look pale in comparison of the number of people massacred). You probably have never even heard of such a thing, which simply goes to show how much control of media and history Zionists have had over the years.

But it didn’t stop there. They now also own and control every aspect of our day-to-day lives (you just haven’t figured that out Mr Redneck). I recently watched the following video clips (Parts 1 & 2) which is great for showing just how deeply imbedded AIPAC and Israel’s lobby efforts are within our own American system:

(This last video, coincidentally, also contains Cicero’s quote that Greg uses in his post, but Boy does it have meaning. It speaks of “traitors” and how they infiltrate and destroy the body politic and should be more feared than a murderer. It is my contention that ANYONE who subscribes to the Zionist policies are TRAITORS, plain and simple. For sure, anyone who continually touts Zionism and Israel’s agenda over America’s is certainly a traitor. I would have to say that we have Washington DC full of stinking traitors, as I write this sentence.)

Now, before the cries of Antisemitism begin, I want to say that I don’t really know many Jewish people. I live in the Bible Belt of America and Synagogues are far and few between. I don’t hold some “Jews killed Jesus” hatred like a Mel Gibson. I don’t care that they wear little beanie hats. I don’t care who or what the worship. I don’t care that they stand in front of an old brick wall and rock back and forth as if they are actually speaking with some God. I don’t care what they eat. I really don’t give a damn one way or another about Judaism (which is about the way I feel about Islam or Christianity). I don’t “hate” any of these religious systems, but I do think they are all crazy as a shit house mouse eating arsenic.

Seriously, I really don’t give a damn, except when it comes to that religion (or fake religion, in the case of Zionism) or ANY religion trying to control and/or manipulate me, my family, my community or my country.

But let us get this straight: Zionism Does NOT Equate to Judaism. No matter how much our complicit and AIPAC owned government claim otherwise (just follow the money to see that these Zionist Jews do, in fact, control virtually EVERYTHING our government officials do). It doesn’t matter how many times Biden claims he is a Zionist. It doesn’t matter how much money my country spews on this murderous country. It doesn’t matter how many weapons of mass destruction we give them. NONE of that means that Zionism is any sensible religion or belief practice.

It is what it is: murder, empire and total domination of the Middle East (with the entire globe as the final prize). I don’t know about you, but THAT does ruffle my feathers.

My friend and fellow contributor here (even tho it has been a while since he posted), Kelso’s Nuts, noticed that I was subject to the tired old claims of “anti-Semitism”, etc, and decided to write the little disclaimer you see to the right of this page. I didn’t ask for this, but he felt it necessary.

Kelso is a Jew, but he hates Zionism. He is not religious and I don’t think that Judaism has any real significant hold over his viewpoint. He is a brilliant thinker and offers a perspective that few offer in the USA, especially on S American issues (especially focused on the hegemony of America). His words mean a lot to me because I think he knows that my disdain for Zionism is nowhere related to religious hatred or some unspoken attack on their religion. Seriously, I couldn’t give a damn about that religion, if my life depended upon it. For I believe that ALL religions are a farce and little more than a way to control the masses.

Case in point: I recently chastised several friends on Facebook for having ever made the claim (or agreed with that stupid assed preacher who kept saying the lie over and over again) that Bush was a “man of God”. Like I told them, if they said it or thought it, they have ZERO spiritual discernment (I also said in the same paragraph that I knew a bunch of preachers who made this claim, which means the Sheople’s own “Shepherds” are Spiritually dead and unable to discern the very basic idea of shunning even the appearance of evil.

You see, Judaism, Islam, Christianity: ALL OF THEM are just a method of divide and control. And when it comes to Christians, you are the most gullible, easy-to-brainwash Sheep: who can be brought to virtually any level of foolish flag-waving, God-fearing acquiescence of any of the main religions. You can be convinced with almost no real backlash to suit up your children to fight in wars of aggression that a mere 50 years ago we, as NOBEL Americans, tried and executed others for the same stuff we relish in today. That history means nothing and you can’t seem to find a real moral compass, especially one that Jesus used.

For the fact of the matter is that not only has Zionism hijacked the Jewish religion, but they nabbed the Zionist shills and ass-munchers (government officials and many of the mainstream Christian leaders, as well) who get their campaign financing, or extra paper in their offering plate, (and let us never forget the media that gets their MONEY from these corrupt assholes). In other words, Zionism has also hijacked Christianity and our American government.

All I can say is that you are a bunch of ignorant hypocrites if you defend Zionist Israel and want to continue the assault on Muslim people. My old “friend” John Otto (a guy I once worked with many years ago) is one of these idiot ass-kissing sycophants who couldn’t tell the difference between Zionism and an easy bake oven. It is fools like him that perpetuate our demise and it is simply because he has been brain-washed to believe shit that normal people simply can NOT believe. In our last interaction, all he could do was basically call me names, but when I asked very poignant, specific questions, he could not answer.

And this is the rub. Do NOT spout a bunch of shit here without expecting to get a valid question in retort. If I do offer that question and you REFUSE to answer (like my old “friend” John, then you will be ushered out of here… knowing that you at least read the piece and your only recourse is the deflection and ignoring of pertinent questions). This is the most common attribute to Zionist shills, they can’t answer legitimately, so they are forced into using sleight of hand techniques to divert the question and then accuse one of bigotry or whatever. Sorry, it won’t work here and I control the keys. Be respectful and please, answer intelligently and in truth, if you have something to say or question.

In other words, I will not allow any straw man arguments and if I address you with a question, you damn well answer it or be gone. You have been advised.

Look, the problem is NOT Islam. The problem is not Judaism. The problem is not Christianity. The problem is all the fools who follow those tainted, corrupt versions of these religions that have no resemblance to the very ones who started those religions in the first place.

The Demon – The Dumbass

Posted by BuelahMan on August 30, 2010

I wish someone would teach Gene Simmons what Socialism is:

h/t UnSpy

Jesus, what a Zionist Hack.

Did you ever notice how the Jewish people find it necessary to change their names? Have you ever wondered “why” they do this? Think it may be because they basically run this country, from virtually every asect, including Hollywood? Think that the tired old story that Jews know money is the reason they own and run the Big Banks (which, in turn, mean they run the US government) is true?

Just look at all the Jewish folks that run things and then ask yourself why in the hell do they feel it important to change their name? Think it may be because “Chaim” sounds like a foreigner? Or that with a name like that, people might want to know more about someone’s history and what a great way to hide significant issues like your dad being a Irgun Terrorist machine gun toting killer?

Chaim Witz Israeli born, Muslim hating, Bush supporting “liberal” who wants to give up all his rights to protect the rest of us REAL Americans.

“His Hungarian-born father, Feri Witz, did not accompany them to the U.S. After arriving in the U.S.”

Presumably to stay and take over Haifa (Sorry, now called Tirat Carmel)? From “Kiss and Makeup” (an excerpt from ChaimGene’s book):

Israel was a new country, only a year older than I was, and its existence was still very much in question. But I was unaware of all that. It was always such a part of my daily routine that I wasn’t able to separate it from any other aspect of my experience. For example, I remember that my dad, Yechiel (or Feri)Witz – who was physically imposing, at least six foot five – would come in on the weekends with his machine gun and put it on the kitchen table. The front lines were fifty miles away, and everybody, every male and most females, was in the army. There were no exemptions. If you lived there, you were in the army.

The gun on the table was one of the few things I remember about my father, because he wasn’t around very much…

Or was he simply a “carpenter“?

When old ChaimGene was born, HaifaTirat had a population makeup quite different than today:

According to CBS, in 2001 the ethnic makeup of the city was 99.6% Jewish and other non-Arab, with no significant Arab population.

For Wayyy back in the day of ChaimGene’s birth, Zionism was rearing its murderous Irgun head:

The 1947 UN Partition Plan designated Haifa as part of the proposed Jewish state. When the Arab leadership rejected the UN’s plan, Haifa did not escape the violence that spread throughout the country. On December 30, 1947, members of the Irgun, a Jewish underground militia, threw bombs into a crowd of Arabs outside the gates of the Consolidated Refineries in Haifa, killing six and injuring 42. In response Arab employees of the company killed 39 Jewish employees in what became known as the Haifa Oil Refinery massacre.[40] The Jewish Haganah militia retaliated with a raid on the Arab village of Balad al-Shaykh, where many of the Arab refinery workers lived, in what became known as the Balad al-Shaykh massacre.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Haifa emerged as an industrial port city and growing population center. The Hejaz railway and the Technion were built at this time.[32] Haifa District was then home to approximately 20,000 inhabitants, 96 percent of them Arabs (82 percent Muslim and 14 percent Christian), and four percent Jews. Over the next few decades the number of Jews increased steadily, due to immigration, especially from Europe. By 1945 the population had shifted to 53 percent Arab (33 percent Muslim, 20 percent Christian) and 47 percent Jewish.[38] In 1947 about 70,910 Arabs (41,000 Muslims, 29,910 Christians) and 74,230 Jews were living there.

I bet there is no animosity, racism or hatred involved with the tongue wagging clown, either:

In 2004, during an interview in Melbourne, Australia, Simmons described Islam as a “vile culture” wherein women had fewer rights than dogs. He described Islam as a threat, claiming that Muslims wanted to leave the Middle East and supplant non-Muslims in other parts of the world by force. The Muslim community took offense, with Australian Muslim of the Year, Susan Carland, asserting that Simmons’ stereotyping of Muslims was inaccurate and that she never walked behind her husband as Simmons stated all Muslim women were required to do.[10] Simmons later said on his website that he was talking specifically about Muslim extremists.

No, no hatred, bigotry or ignorance at all. Just a neocon Zionist asshole who “lived thru the vietnam era”, but couldn’t find it within himself to join up and serve. But REAL Americans serve and give him the ability to change his name and take the young people’s money and then, decades after his descent into irrelevancy, he shows what he is really about. Hatred and genocidal murder against an entire religion.

I never liked the damned music, either.

Piece of shit.

David Axelrod Wrote Me About Messiah Obama’s Pleasing Muslim Speech

Posted by BuelahMan on June 4, 2009

I wonder if he will appreciate my response?

His Letter:

Hello -

As a Senior Advisor to the President, I’m here in Cairo, Egypt where I watched President Obama deliver an unprecedented speech calling for a new beginning for the United States and Muslim communities around the world.

We all know that there has been tension between the United States and some Muslim communities. But, as the President said this morning, if all sides face the sources of tension squarely and focus on mutual interests, we can find a new way forward.

The President outlined some big goals for this new beginning in his speech — including disrupting, dismantling, and defeating violent extremism. It was a historic speech, and since many Americans were asleep at the time it was given we wanted to make sure you had a chance to see it:

Majority-Muslim countries around the world are filled with extraordinary people who simply want to live their lives and see their children live better lives, just as in America. Indeed, part of what makes America great is having nearly seven million Muslim Americans living here today and enriching our culture and communities.

We can extend that kind of relationship abroad. It won’t always be easy, but if we make an effort to bridge our differences rather than resigning ourselves to animosity, we can move toward a more peaceful world over time.

Thank you,
David Axelrod
Senior Advisor to the President

My Response:

Mr Axelrod,

Perhaps you can convince your boss that explaining to the Muslim world that Iraq is better off now than under Saddam Hussein, no matter the fact that we are there under the lies, deceit and murderous activities of his predecessor, is akin to a arsonist’s family apologizing for their family member burning down someone’s home and explaining to them that they are better off that the house is gone. It is disgusting and it appears that he seems totally committed to protecting those criminals from the war crimes (which now makes him complicit).

Maybe your boss would want to STOP bombing innocent Muslim families with unmanned drones in Afghanistan and Pakistan, if he really wants Muslims to believe him (good luck with that).

Maybe explaining to Israel that we will not give them another nickel or another weapon until they stop their advances on Muslims on Muslim land will help him gain favor in the Muslim world’s eye.

But alas, I am sorry, Mr Axelrod, but your boss lost all credibility with the world, me and many Americans with all his flip-flopping and lies that convinced the ignorant Progressive Movement that he was something he is not.

We are not all fooled by the propaganda and lies. Muslims aren’t either.

Personally, I see very little difference between your boss and the previous occupant of that position. He is a shade darker in color, but The Empire lives on.

A liar is a liar.

Period.

Jesus Loves The Little Children… Some Of The Children Of The World

Posted by BuelahMan on May 6, 2009

Dead Palestinian Children

Americans stand back and allow the children of the world to die mercilessly… in the name of democracy or freedom. It is as if we have lost all morality as a nation when we would turn our heads and act as if nothing is wrong with our collective disregard.

Palestinian Children Go To School

I saw a post of pictures at AttendingTheWorld called Israeli Children vs Palestinian Children that made me pause to consider the mindset of people who bring their children up in a world that is primarily focused on raising them to be killers (America is guilty, as well, but maybe not quite as “in-your-face” militarism as the Israelis are). Sure, we have Armed Forces gatherings where our fly overs are rejoiced as some sort of thrill gathering. Yes, we have gun shows and I am sure there are the radicals who bring up their children with guns made solely for killing people (I, myself have never owned an assault weapon and I have one weapon designed solely for killing people, a 9mm pistol… otherwise, I own hunting weapons). But when I see such pictures as these, I can’t help but think that they are intentionally bringing their own very children up to kill other human beings… what other reason is there for this?

armsfair

or this?

or this?

Israeli Children Post Love Notes On Bombs

Can you imagine letting your daughter sign a bomb that you know is heading to kill other people, especially children in a closed up barrel shoot scenario as the Israelis had the Gazans? Can you imagine the touchy feely of your son or daughter as he feels up a machine gun or a sniper’s weapon that may be used to take out a pregnant Palestinian woman and child. I have never even allowed my daughter to see any gun I have, much less handle them in any way.

settler-kids-guns

Can you imagine the hatred associated with a picture like this below, where school kids are harassing and terrorizing a woman? Can you imagine YOUR child acting in this behavior (my Mom would slap the piss out of me if I didn’t say “Yes, Ma’am” or “No, Ma’am” or not hold the door open for a lady). If my daughter so much as has a cross word with an adult, she is punished (she responds quite well to “time outs” at this point, so hitting her is unnecessary and foolish).

israeli-children-attacking-arab-woman

I can tell you this about my household, I teach my daughter to respect any person, regardless of religion, color or whatever “funny” head gear they have on. If I were to ever catch my daughter treating ANYONE like this, time out wouldn’t be enough and I would wear her ass out and seek some sort of mental help in all likelihood, for this simply ain’t right. (I would note that these children’s parents are the ones that need mental help)

_mg_7487

There is no end to photos of Palestinian kids being splattered across school yards and even in their homes. If not killed outright, they lose their homes and families and are left to fend for themselves in many cases (can you imagine a 6 or 8 year old being forced to deal with his dead parents and then try to live going forward)? Can you imagine what this does to their mind? How the murderous activity of the Jewish hatred towards a Muslim is only causing even more enemies?

palestinian-boy-as-human-shield-by-nazionists

What is really ironic is that neither of these folks will be “saved” and “go to heaven” (according to the mainstream Christian tenants) so to many torture loving “Christians”, it is all canon fodder that matters nothing. A dead Jew or Muslim is hardly worth a tear or sympathy, right?

America has lost her morality. The past 8 years of complicity and lackadaisical attitude towards these “rag heads” proves this beyond any shadow of a doubt, but it is much older and sadder than  that. We have, ourselves, been inundated with war cries and got our Patriotic juices flowing from lies and deceit. We ok’d the very same killings of Muslims in Iraq and elsewhere, but here, we seem to like to keep the death at a distance (preferring to use drones and missiles and keep the personal nature of murder at arm’s length… at least until they are teens).

We should be ashamed, but the truth is that we are just like them in many ways.

I am ashamed that we allow it, that we furnish the weapons and money for them to carry it out and that we are not American enough anymore (but more Zionist than American) to stand for what is just and decent in the world.

I am ashamed that you are NOT ashamed.

So I’m An Anti-Semite? And Immoral?

Posted by BuelahMan on January 10, 2009

Strange? I thought Gazan’s were Semite?

Have you noticed that the religious nutcases immediately defend their indefensible killing by lashing out at anyone who questions their rationale? Zionist or Hamas terrorist. I see no difference.

The basis is the same. Where I do draw the line is not falling for the meme that insists that Israel is blameless. I am 47 years old and all I remember about this area is nothing but land grabbing and power mongering.

I watched Bill Moyers last night (see below) and then read at Glenn Greenwald’s place this morning and I am taken even further aback by how accusatory the culprits get. My Dad used to say (after someone farted in the car and a person complained), “Guilty dogs bark first!” It always got a laugh. But this issue isn’t funny and like the neocon apologists did after people began to bitch about Iraq, they accused us of all sorts of shit… most hurtful being that we are unpatriotic or immoral for not going along. Meanwhile the hypocrisy always easily eludes them that bombing people cannot be moral. This is a logical fallacy that these people have been able to brainwash themselves into believing.

From Glenn’s site (please go read the entire article):

UPDATE II:  According to the Report issued on Thursday (.pdf) by the U.N.’s Humanitarian Affairs Office, more than 1/3 of overall Palestinian deaths are children (34% of the almost 800 total deaths), and a similar percentage of the more than 3,000 wounded are also children (34.8%).

To put that in perspective, note that the Russian invasion of Georgia — which was vehemently and universally condemned in the U.S. as an excessive and brutal response to Georgia’s assault on South Ossetia — resulted, according to the Georgian government, in total deaths on the Georgia side of 405 (220 of whom were civilians) and total number of civilians wounded between 200-250 (see page 10 of this Amnesty International Report — .pdf).  The Russians agreed to a cease-fire accord after 5 days; the Israelis explicitly reject the U.N.’s call for a cease fire and continue to “escalate” after 14 full days (and counting) of full-scale air and land attacks on Gaza.

His point is that this indiscriminate bombing, for how else could they begin to “escalate” these atrocities as they are about to do, is killing as many innocents as it is anyone else. What we have done by allowing the Bush Doctrine to flourish without consequence is to say it is ok to other countries to invade and bomb with impunity (as long as it is in the guise of “terrorism”).

When the Military Industrial Complex was looking for a long-term enemy, they sure found one in the war on terror.

Rednecks: the very basis for each and every issue that plagues the world today can be be brought directly and laid at the feet of the MIC and the American people for allowing it to happen. It is us, the once defenders of liberty and peace, that have uncorked the Genie Bottle of rampant murder and carnage.

Now call your preacher and get him to tell you how immoral I am for being against murder.

Baaa

… and that insane amount of funds was spent for?????????????

Posted by Lynda on September 4, 2008

What exactly does this accomplish? … and for what cause was it done…? and really, what are they really thinking this will be used for???… and if they have no idea how it will effect the globe, i.e.: weather, water, quakes etc… or the ultimate fear some scientists have– what are they doing?? Just because ‘mankind’ CAN do something doesn’t mean ‘mankind’ should do it.

Landmark experiment to unlock secrets of Big Bang could cause end of the world, say scientists in court bid to halt it. It has cost 4.4billion+ and is designed to unlock the secrets of the Big Bang.
But rather than providing vital information about the beginning of life, the world’s biggest experiment could cause the end of the world, say scientists. They fear that the Large Hadron Collider – due to be switched on in nine days’ time – will create a black hole that could swallow the planet. By smashing sub-atomic particles together at close to the speed of light, the LHC aims to recreate the conditions that existed a fraction of a second after the birth of the universe or Big Bang, shedding light on the building blocks of life.

But critics claim that the ‘time machine’, which has been built 300ft beneath the French-Swiss border near Geneva, could instead spawn a shower of mini-black holes.  Within four years, one of these ‘celestial vacuums’ could have swollen to such a size that it is capable of sucking the Earth inside-out, said Otto Rossler, one of a group of scientists mounting a last-minute court challenge to the project.

They claim the experiment violates the right to life under the European Convention of Human Rights. However, the case at the European Court of Human Rights is not expected to delay the switch on, scheduled for Wednesday of next week. Professor Rossler, a German chemist, said the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, has admitted its project will create black holes but doesn’t consider them to be a risk.
He warned: ‘My own calculations have shown it is quite plausible that these little black holes survive and will grow exponentially and eat the planet from the inside. I have been calling for CERN to hold a safety conference to prove my conclusions wrong but they have not been willing.’

Those involved in the project have dismissed the claims as ‘absurd’ and insist that extensive safety assessments have found the experiment, which is funded by 20 countries, including the UK, to be safe.  A report written earlier this year stated: ‘Over the past billions of years, nature has already generated on Earth as many collisions as about a million LHC experiments – and the planet still exists.’  The lifespan of any mini-black holes would be ‘very short’, it added.

CERN spokesman James Gillies said the arguments before the European Court of Human Rights had been answered in ‘extensive safety assessments’.
He told the Sunday Telegraph: ‘The Large Hadron Collider will not be producing anything that does not happen routinely in nature due to cosmic rays. If they were dangerous we would know about it already.’

Scientists have used large particle colliders to smash atoms and pieces of atoms together for 30 years, but this machine has attracted so much attention because it is the most powerful ever built.  In the LHC beams of protons will be propelled through an 18-mile-long circular tunnel. More than 5,000 magnets lining the tunnel will accelerate the hundreds of billions of tiny particles to almost the speed of light, allowing them to complete one circuit in one-11,000th of a second.

There will be two beams going in opposite directions, each packing as much energy as a car traveling at 100mph.  When they reach almost the speed of light, they will be smashed head on into each other, breaking them into their constituent parts, including, perhaps, the building blocks of the universe

Pastor Rick’s Test

Posted by Lynda on August 20, 2008

The Candidates Submit, and a Principle Suffers
At the risk of heresy, let it be said that setting up the two presidential candidates for religious interrogation by an evangelical minister — no matter how beloved — is  supremely wrong.  It is also un-American.
For the past several days, since mega-pastor Rick Warren interviewed Barack Obama and John McCain at his Saddleback Church, most political debate has focused on who won.  Was it the nuanced, thoughtful Obama, who may have convinced a few more skeptics that he isn’t a Muslim? Or was it the direct, confident McCain, who breezes through town-hall-style meetings the way Obama sinks three-pointers from the back court?  The candidates’ usual supporters felt validated in their choices. McCain convinced and comforted with characteristic certitude those who are most at ease with certitude; Obama convinced and comforted with his characteristic intellectual ambivalence those who are  most at ease with ambivalence.
The winner, of course, was Warren, who has managed to position himself as political arbiter in a nation founded on the separation of church and state.  The loser was America.  In his enormously successful book “The Purpose-Driven Life,” Warren begins: “It’s not about you.” Agreed. Nor is this criticism aimed at Christians, evangelicals, other believers or nonbelievers — or at Warren, who is a good man with an exemplary record of selfless works. Few have walked the walk with as much determination or success.
This is about higher principles that are compromised every time we pretend we’re not applying a religious test when we’re really applying a religious test.  It is true that no one was forced to participate in the Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency and that both McCain and Obama are free agents. Warren has a right to invite whomever he wishes to his church and to ask them whatever they’re willing to answer.  His format and questions were interesting and the answers more revealing than what the usual debate menu provides. But does it not seem just a little bit odd to have McCain and Obama chatting individually with a preacher in a public forum about their positions on evil and their relationship with Jesus Christ?
The past few decades of public confession and Oprah-style therapy have prepared us perfectly for a televangelist probing politicians about their moral failings. Warren’s Q&A wasn’t an inquisition exactly, but viewers would be justified in squirming.  What is the right answer, after all? What happens to the one who gets evil wrong? What’s a proper relationship with Jesus? What’s next? Interrogations by rabbis, priests and imams? What candidate would dare decline on the basis of mere principle?  Both Obama and McCain gave “good” answers, but that’s not the point. They shouldn’t have been asked.
Is the American electorate now better prepared to cast votes knowing that Obama believes that “Jesus Christ died for my sins and I am redeemed through him,” or that McCain feels that he is “saved and forgiven”?  What does that mean, anyway? What does it prove? Nothing except that these men are willing to say whatever they must — and what most Americans personally feel is no one’s business — to win the highest office.
Warren tried to defuse criticism about staging the interviews in his church by saying that though “we” believe in the separation of church and state, “we” don’t believe in the separation of faith and politics. Faith, he said, “is just a worldview, and everybody has some kind of worldview. It’s important to know what they are.”  Presumably “we” refers to Warren’s church of fellow evangelicals. And while, yes, everybody has some kind of worldview, it shouldn’t be necessary in a pluralistic nation of secular laws to publicly define that view in Christian code.  For the moment, let’s set aside our curiosity about what Jesus might do in a given circumstance and wonder what our Founding Fathers would have done at Saddleback Church. What would have happened to Thomas Jefferson if he had responded as he wrote in 1781:  “It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”  Would the crowd at Saddleback have applauded and nodded through that one? Doubtful.

By today’s new standard of pulpits in the public square, Jefferson — the great advocate for religious freedom in America — would have lost.

The How and Why of Darfur

By Eric Reeves / 2005 Sudan

[informative CURRENT link]

In one of the most remote places in Africa, an insurgency began unnoticed under the shadow of the war in Iraq in 2003, killing 350,000 to 400,000 people in 29 months by means of violence, malnutrition, and disease in the first genocidal rampage of the 21st century.

The insurgency began virtually unnoticed in February 2003; it has, over the past two years, precipitated the first great episode of genocidal destruction in the 21st century. The victims are the non-Arab or African tribal groups of Darfur, primarily the Fur, the Massaleit, and the Zaghawa, but also the Tunjur, the Birgid, the Dajo, and others. These people have long been politically and economically marginalized, and in recent years the National Islamic Front regime, based in Sudan’s capital of Khartoum, has refused to control increasingly violent Arab militia raids of African villages in Darfur. Competition between Arab and African tribal groups over the scarce primary resources in Darfur-arable land and water-has been exacerbated by advancing desertification throughout the Sahel region.

But it was Khartoum’s failure to respond to the desperate economic needs of this huge region (it is the size of France), the decayed judiciary, the lack of political representation, and in particular the growing impunity on the part of Arab raiders that gave rise to the full-scale armed conflict.

Not directly related to the 21-year civil conflict that recently formally ended in southern Sudan-a historic agreement was signed in Nairobi on January 9, 2005-Darfur’s insurgency found early success against Khartoum’s regular military forces. But this success had a terrible consequence: The regime in Khartoum switched from a military strategy of direct confrontation to a policy of systematically destroying the African tribal groups perceived as the civilian base of support for the insurgents. The primary instrument in this new policy has been the Janjaweed, a loosely organized Arab militia force of perhaps 20,000 men, primarily on horse and camel.

This force is dramatically different in character, military strength, and purpose from previous militia raiders. Khartoum ensured that the Janjaweed were extremely heavily armed, well-supplied, and actively coordinating with the regime’s regular ground and air forces. Indeed, Human Rights Watch obtained in July 2004 confidential Sudanese government documents that directly implicate high-ranking government officials in a policy of support for the Janjaweed. “It’s absurd to distinguish between the Sudanese government forces and the militias-they are one,” says Peter Takirambudde, executive director of Human Rights Watch’s Africa Division. “These documents show that militia activity has not just been condoned, it’s been specifically supported by Sudan government officials.”

Evidence of genocide

The nature of the attacks on African villages in Darfur-as reported by numerous human rights groups-makes clear the Khartoum regime’s genocidal intent. Janjaweed assaults, typically conducted in concert with Khartoum’s regular military forces (including helicopter gunships and Antonov bombers), have been comprehensively destructive of both human life and livelihood: men and boys killed en masse, women and girls raped or abducted, and all means of agricultural production destroyed. Thriving villages have had buildings burned, water sources poisoned, irrigation systems torn up, food and seed stocks destroyed, and fruit trees cut down. Cattle have been looted on a massive scale, and most of those not looted have died from lack of water and food, as people flee into the inhospitable wastes of this arid region.

According to Article 2 of the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide-to which the US and all current members of the UN Security Council are party-genocide encompasses not only the deliberate killing of members of a “national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such,” but also “deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.” The latter is what we have seen in Darfur.

As a result, agricultural production has largely come to a halt in Darfur, and the United Nations estimates that in the very near future 3.5 million people will be in urgent need of food assistance (the total population of Darfur is approximately 6.5 million). Moreover, there is no sign that the current planting season will yield a significant fall harvest. Huge civilian populations-well over two million people-will be dependent on food aid for the foreseeable future. Many of these people will die in what has become genocide by attrition.

The humanitarian crisis The current rainy season in Darfur is already creating immense logistical problems for humanitarian aid groups, as it did last summer. Darfur is one of the most remote places in Africa, and quite distant from navigable bodies of water. Both food and critical nonfood items (medical supplies, shelter, equipment for clean water) must be transported over land by truck or (much more expensively) flown into the regional capitals of the three Darfur states.

Though humanitarian organizations are performing heroically under extremely difficult conditions, it’s clear that there is a deadly mismatch between humanitarian capacity and human need. As the rains sever various transport corridors and insecurity closes others, many villages and communities are becoming inaccessible. This occurs against the backdrop of a traditional “hunger gap”-the period between spring planting and fall harvest.

Moreover, the overcrowded camps for displaced persons-now the only place of refuge for more than two million people-face serious shortages of sanitary facilities. The threat of waterborne disease is becoming acute, as many of the camps are little more than open sewers. Outbreaks of cholera or dysentery could quickly claim tens of thousands of lives in addition to those already claimed by violence, disease, and malnutrition. Extant data suggest that between 350,000 and 400,000 have perished during the past 29 months.

A recent UN mortality assessment indicates that more than 6,000 continue to die every month, and Jan Egeland, UN Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs, has warned that the toll may climb to 100,000 per month if insecurity forces humanitarian organizations to withdraw from Darfur. Banditry, hijacking of humanitarian convoys, and attacks on humanitarian workers have grown relentlessly in recent months, even as there has been a decline in major conflict between Khartoum’s regular forces and the insurgency groups.

Peace negotiations in Abuja, Nigeria, have done nothing to rein in the Janjaweed militia, and a small African Union monitoring force on the ground has had only marginal effect in addressing civilian and humanitarian security needs. The death total in Darfur’s genocide may reach that of Rwanda’s by year’s end.

Racism and Islamism in Khartoum

The National Islamic Front (which has attempted to rename itself innocuously as the “National Congress Party”) is essentially unchanged since it seized power from a democratically elected government in a 1989 military coup, deliberately aborting Sudan’s most promising peace process since independence in 1956. With the exception of Islamism ideologue Hassan El-Turabi-the mastermind of the 1989 coup who split with his former allies and is no longer part of the government-the same brutal men still control the NIF 16 years after it seized power. Field Marshal Omer El-Beshir retains the presidency, and Ali Osman Taha-arguably the most powerful man in Sudan-serves as vice president and controls the terrifyingly efficient security services. Nafie Ali Nafie, Gutbi Al-Mahdi, and other longtime members of the NIF serve in various advisory capacities. And Major General Saleh Abdallah Gosh, recently flown to Washington by the CIA, retains control of the Mukhabarat (Sudan’s intelligence and security service) even as he is among those members of the NIF indicted at the International Criminal Court in The Hague for crimes against humanity in Darfur.

These are the men who settled on a genocidal response to the insurgency movements that emerged in Darfur in early 2003. But the NIF’S history of genocide goes back much further than the current catastrophe in Darfur. Animated by a radical Islamism and sense of Arab racial superiority, the movement engaged in genocide almost from the time it seized power. A year ago, seasoned Sudan watcher Alex de Waal of the British group Justice Africa wrote for the London Review of Books what remains one of the best overviews of the Darfur crisis. In the piece, he observed that genocide in Darfur is not the genocidal campaign of a government at the height of its ideological hubris, as the 1992 jihad in the Nuba Mountains was, or coldly determined to secure natural resources, as when it sought to clear the oilfields of southern Sudan of their troublesome inhabitants. This is the routine cruelty of a security cabal, its humanity withered by years in power; it is genocide by force of habit. As part of a ghastly jihad, the NIF conducted relentless military assaults on civilians and enforced a humanitarian aid embargo that lasted more than a decade.

The same men ordered the scorched-earth clearances of the oil regions in southern Sudan to provide security for the operations of international oil companies. The actions of oil companies from Canada, Sweden, Austria, China, Malaysia, and India-directly supporting the NIF regime-constitute one of the most shameful episodes in the long and terrible history of resource extraction in Africa.

The result of these policies was that between 1989 and 2002 many hundreds of thousands of Sudanese were either killed or displaced. In the Nuba Mountains and the oil regions of southern Sudan, as in Darfur, the NIF regime settled upon a deliberate policy of human destruction, targeting ethnically African populations that had rebelled against, or were victims of, decades of political and economic marginalization.

The July 9 inauguration of a new Sudanese “government of national unity” (GNU) has appropriately received a good deal of news coverage. (The GNU represents the culmination of an arduous peace process going back almost a decade and the formal end to war in southern Sudan. Perhaps the most destructive civil conflict since World War II and one of the longest wars in Africa’s history, it saw the Christian and animist South pitted against the Muslim, Arab-speaking North. As many as 2.5 million people have died since the second phase of the civil war began in 1983-and likely more than four million if we consider its earlier phase (1955-72). More than five million people were displaced by the war-Sudan has the world’s largest population of internally displaced persons-and southern Sudan was utterly devastated.)

John Garang, the 60-year-old guerilla leader of the southern Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army, was killed in a helicopter crash on July 30, just three weeks after being inaugurated as “First Vice President” in the GNU. One of the few elder southern statesman who believed in a united Sudan, Garang was pivotal in securing the peace agreement that ended the civil war and was a symbol of hope for many in the south. It was assumed in many quarters that Garang-as someone long sympathetic to the cause of Sudan’s marginalized peoples-would use his new position to help end genocide in Darfur. His death has raised fears about the newly established peace, with some southerners claiming the Sudanese government, dominated by their northern opponents, might have played a role in it. A seven-member team is investigating the crash and is scheduled to present its findings by early September.

Who is dying

Darfur’s prewar population of approximately 6.5 million was perhaps 60 to 65 percent non-Arab-some four million “Africans.” In fact, all Darfuris are African, and skin color is a wholly inadequate measure of ethnicity. But ethnic differences do exist-the use of Arabic as a first language, agricultural practices, and a variety of more subtle cultural differences-and identification by ethnicity comes easily to Darfuris, even in matters such as gait and attire. But of this population of roughly four million “Africans,” UN figures for displacement, or even for those defined as “conflict-affected,” cannot account for more than one million people. Some are in urban areas, but hundreds of thousands have died (more on exactly how many below), and hundreds of thousands more are at risk in inaccessible rural areas of Darfur.

Sometime in summer 2004-we’ll probably never know just when-human mortality in the Darfur genocide became more a function of malnutrition and disease than violent destruction. What we must not lose sight of is that deaths from malnutrition and disease are no less the product of genocidal ambitions than violent killings: Having so comprehensively and deliberately destroyed the villages and livelihoods of the African tribal populations of Darfur, Khartoum and its Janjaweed allies bear full responsibility for the ongoing deadly consequences of these assaults on civilian targets.

The consensus among Darfuris in exile, at least those who have access to sources on the ground in Darfur, is that approximately 90 percent of all African villages have now been destroyed. But as villagers have fled to camps for displaced persons and into eastern Chad, they have created extremely vulnerable populations in highly concentrated locations. The United Nations reports approximately two million people in camps for displaced persons to which it has access in Darfur and another 200,000 refugees inside Chad along the Darfur border. Many hundreds of thousands of people remain unaccounted for-dead, hiding, staying with host families in other locations, or simply unregistered by the United Nations.

Those inside the camps must contend not only with relentless insecurity but with overcrowding, inadequate sanitary facilities, shortcomings in shelter, and severe water shortages-in some locations people have been forced to survive on what humanitarian groups consider less than half the daily human requirement of water. Though the rainy season may alleviate this problem, the torrential rains also create severe risks for outbreaks of waterborne diseases such as cholera and dysentery. There were no major outbreaks of either disease in summer 2004; displaced Darfuris are very unlikely to again escape diseases that can claim tens of thousands of lives in a matter of weeks.

Food shortages, however, remain the greatest threat to human life in Darfur. Darfuris normally rely on foraging in times of desperation, but the insecurity that continues to be created by the Janjaweed makes this impossible. Many of the hundreds of thousands in inaccessible rural areas are slowly starving.

Children, as always, are most vulnerable.

Insecurity prevented a significant planting this spring and early summer (normally the major planting season in the agricultural calendar), so there will be no fall harvest-this after last fall’s severely attenuated harvest. Significant domestic food production in Darfur will not be in evidence until fall 2006-at the earliest. People already weakened by malnutrition have become increasingly vulnerable to disease and will only become weaker and more vulnerable in the months ahead. Genocidal mortality will continue for years.

Last December, Jan Egeland, the UN’s Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs, estimated that if insecurity forces the withdrawal of humanitarian operations, as many as 100,000 may die every month. And as Kofi Annan recently noted in his report to the Security Council, threats against humanitarian workers are on the rise.

There is compelling data concerning violent mortality. Even with significant biases toward undercounting, the data assembled by the Coalition for International Justice (CIJ), the organization appointed by the State Department and the US Agency for International Development (US AID) to research human destruction, strongly suggests that more than 200,000 people have died violently in Darfur. Though not technically an epidemiological study, the CIJ report cannot be ignored, since there is no alternative source of data. The key finding was that 61 percent of those interviewed had witnessed the killing of a family member during an assault by Janjaweed or regular military forces.

This data, along with previous mortality data from the World Health Organization and other humanitarian organizations, and several key epidemiological studies, suggest that between 350,000 and 400,000 people have died from all causes-violence, malnutrition, and disease-in Darfur’s genocide. The impending spike upward in monthly mortality rates, and the great likelihood that genocide by attrition will continue for months and years, suggest, that total mortality may eventually exceed that of Rwanda in 1994. Unfortunately, news media have almost all failed to take account of the mortality data available, particularly data suggesting a total for violent mortality.

The future of Darfur

There is no sign that normal agricultural production will resume any time in the near future. There is no sign that the insecurity confining people to camps for the displaced or villages under siege will be alleviated, even with the currently planned deployment of additional African Union personnel. There is no sign that the international community intends to fund humanitarian efforts in Darfur at an appropriate level. There is no sign that Khartoum’s National Islamic Front, and the new government it dominates, has changed its genocidal ambitions, now best served by preserving the deadly status quo. There is no sign that peace negotiations in Abuja, Nigeria will yield more than the vaguely worded “declaration of principles” signed last month. And there is no sign of the international humanitarian intervention that might stop the genocide.

There are only signs that the dying will continue indefinitely.

The US response to Darfur must be understood in the context of Bush-administration efforts to end Sudan’s north-south war-as well as the administration’s attempt to secure intelligence from Khartoum on international terrorism. (The National Islamic Front hosted Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda from 1991 to 1996, and retained strong connections even when bin Laden moved to Afghanistan.) These have been policy priorities despite the administration’s explicit conclusion, first announced by former Secretary of State Colin Powell last September, that genocide was taking place in Darfur and that the Khartoum government was playing a role.

The Bush administration invested heavily in negotiating an end to the north-south war, and the signing earlier this year of a formal peace agreement-however limited and flawed-must be recognized as a major foreign policy achievement. But precisely because of the administration’s investment in a north-south agreement, including the appointment of former Senator John Danforth as special envoy to Sudan, there was widespread reluctance within the State Department to hold Khartoum accountable for the genocide that was clearly unfolding in early 2004, when north-south peace negotiations had entered their final phase.

The thinking by US officials involved in the negotiations, and their British and Norwegian counterparts, was that pressing the National Islamic Front regime too hard on Darfur would undermine the chances of consummating the north-south agreement. But this diplomatic strategy was of course transparent to Khartoum and thus perversely provided an incentive for the regime to extend negotiations as long as possible-always promising a light at the end of the diplomatic tunnel.

The last issue of substance between Khartoum and the southern Sudan People’s Liberation Movement was resolved in a protocol signed by all parties in late May 2004. Two weeks later, following months of terrifying reports from human rights groups, the State Department announced that it would begin an investigation to determine whether Khartoum was guilty of genocide in Darfur. The close sequence of dates was not a coincidence.

But a tremendous amount of the violent destruction in Darfur had already been accomplished by June 2004; indeed, this marks the approximate point in the conflict at which deaths from malnutrition and disease began to exceed those from violence. Moreover, Khartoum continued to use the north-south peace agreement as a threat, declaring with brazen confidence that if it were pushed too hard on Darfur, the negotiated agreement might be endangered. The agreement’s final signing ceremony occurred in Nairobi on January 9, 2005; the inauguration of a new government took place six months later, on July 9, 2005; the killing in Darfur, of course, continues.

US belatedness in responding with appropriate determination to genocide was mirrored in the flaccid responses of European countries, individually and through the European Union. Canada, Japan, the Arab League, and the African Union were no better. America has been the most generous nation in providing humanitarian assistance to Darfur, reflecting chiefly the determination of officials at US AID. Meanwhile, the commitments of other countries to relief efforts have been less than stellar. The financial responses of Germany, France, Italy, Japan, and the oil-rich Arab countries have been scandalously laggard.

The African Union in Darfur

The AU began to deploy a small number of monitors to Darfur following a ceasefire signed in April 2004 in N’Djamena, Chad. A commitment in late summer 2004 to increase the monitoring force to approximately 3,500 went unfulfilled for over half a year, and during this time the AU was unable to secure from Khartoum a mandate for civilian protection-only a mandate to monitor the largely nonexistent ceasefire. Recently, the AU has said it will increase its force to 7,700 by September, and possibly 12,000 by spring 2006.

As many have recognized, the AU is quite unable to deploy to this force-level with its own resources and NATO, as a consequence, has very recently agreed to provide logistics and transport capacity. The bigger problem, however, is that even with NATO’s help, the nascent AU Peace and Security Commission is simply not up to this mission if the goal for Darfur is adequate protection for civilians and humanitarian operations. The AU does not have the troops, equipment, or essential interoperability of forces that are necessary given the scale of the crisis. Those paying the price for disingenuous suggestions to the contrary are vulnerable civilian populations and humanitarian aid workers.

Recently, Foreign Minister Cheikh Tidiane Gadio of Senegal refused to accept any longer what has become the mantra of “African solutions for African problems.” Gadio declared, on the occasion of a visit by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, that his government was “totally dissatisfied” with the hollowness of AU claims to be able to stop genocide in Darfur. Calling the situation “totally unacceptable,” he continued: “We don’t like the fact that the African Union has asked the international community to allow us to bring an African solution to an African problem and unfortunately the logistics from our own governments do not follow.”

This honesty is remarkable, the more so since Nigeria-current chair of the African Union-has declared at various points that the situation is fully in hand and actually improving. Comments to this effect have come from both President Obasanjo and General Festus Okonkwo, the Nigerian commander of AU forces in Darfur. Nigeria has strong-armed into silence many African nations. The country, which wants to maintain good relations with the Muslim world even as it confronts militant Islam in northern Nigerian states, has yielded to pressure from the Arab League-especially Libya and Egypt-to define the Darfur genocide as an African problem rather than an international one.

Genocidal destruction in Darfur will continue for the foreseeable future. The resources to halt massive, ethnically targeted destruction-of lives and livelihoods-are nowhere in sight. The consequences of this destruction, now extending over almost two and a half years, will be evident for years-in villages that have been burned to the ground, in poisoned water sources, in the cruel impoverishment of people who have lost everything, in deaths that will continue to mount relentlessly.

There is currently no evidence that the international community is prepared to deploy adequate protection for either Darfur’s vulnerable civilian populations or endangered humanitarian operations. August, traditionally the month of heaviest rains, saw a further attenuation of relief efforts, as transport of food and other critical supplies became mired in flooded riverbeds and blocked by severed road arteries. At the same time, waterborne diseases, along with malaria and a wide range of communicable diseases, will take huge numbers of lives. These diseases will be particularly potent killers because so much of the civilian population of Darfur has been seriously weakened by malnutrition. Famine conditions have already been identified in parts of Darfur, and the UN’s World Food Program estimates that 3.5 million people will need food assistance in the near future.

Our moral choice .

It is important that the stark moral choice confronting the international community be absolutely clear. History must not record this moment as one in which our decision was uninformed by either the scale of the human catastrophe or an understanding of what is required to stop genocidal destruction. And so, despite the long odds against an intervention actually taking place, it is our obligation to say with conviction and understanding the most urgent truth: In the absence of humanitarian intervention, Darfur’s civilian population, as well as humanitarian workers, will be consigned to pervasive, deadly insecurity; displaced persons will remain trapped in camps that are hotbeds of disease; agricultural production will remain at a standstill, leaving millions of people dependent on international food assistance for the foreseeable future; aid workers will continue to fall prey to targeted and opportunistic violence .In other words, the genocide in Darfur will continue. We can stop it. We are simply choosing not to.
