As soon as I can afford some ink, I plan on printing a few of these. If something weird happens and electronics are disabled, I want printed info (especially the medicinal herb stuff).
If you run across more that needs to be on the list, let me know.

Spot on with this write-up, I truly think this web site needs rather more consideration. I’ll probably be once more to learn rather more, thanks for that info.

Good bunch of info ya got here. My next project is to find a good solar panel and get it prepped to connect to a car battery which in turn I plan to operate a small, maybe 400w inverter to charge my ‘puter and phones. Once the shit hits the fan the networks will be gone, but all the information I’ve been gathering for years is still mostly locked inside a digital device. I figure if nothing else it’s a backup library in case the hard copies get wet or burned, and being able to let my kid watch a dvd once in a while might keep the little fella – and me – sane while we adjust to a world he can’t even imagine.

Hi Thurman,
Thanks for stopping in again. I hope you noticed my comment at your place and the fact that I have linked to your site (hope that’s ok).
I, too, am on the solar panel system plan. I want to be able to power my freezer 24/7 and also provide light and charging for PC, etc. Let me know if you continue with your project and let’s share notes.
