Forgive my redneck voice, but I felt Jon Rapopport’s article addresses Mr Obama’s gun grab perfectly. So much so, that I felt it should be read aloud and a video made for YouTube.
This Is What I Want Obama To Say About Guns
Because he didn’t say these things (not that I felt he would), it is now time for our Congressmen to show if they support their constituency or a tyrannical government’s dictate by decree. If they cannot stand up and swat this down, then it is time for them to go and real Americans be elected in their place (not that I believe even they will stand up). They have given me no reason to believe they actually care about the Constitution or their oath to protect it. Now is the time to prove me wrong (Marsha Blackburn).
If you, as a participant at this little blog, ever felt the need to contact your elected official, now is the time.
Men like Texas Representative Steve Stockman need to be supported when they say:
“The White House’s recent announcement they will use executive orders and executive actions to infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms is an unconstitutional and unconscionable attack on the very founding principles of this republic.”
“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment.” (Emphasis mine)
I hope he means it, for now is not the time for grandstanding. Even Senator Rand Paul claims he will fight it (I just hope that he isn’t following in his dad;s grandstanding footsteps). This isn’t time for a show, but for real men and women to step up.
I would also beseech you to contact other state reps that have shown that they intend to fight this from a state’s rights level and encourage them to go forward. Joe Carr, the TN State Rep of the 48th District has announced his submission of HB42, a bill criminalizing actions by the Feds for denying 2nd Amendment rights to me and my fellow Tennesseans. I need my Rep to join him (and every other to co-sign and vote for this). You must all stand together and tell them this ain’t going to fly in Tennessee.
Joe Carr Announces Submission of HB42 Criminalizing Feds for Denying 2nd Amendment Right to Tennesseans
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 16, 2013
State Representative Joe Carr 48TH Legislative District
Lascassas, TN. State Representative Joe Carr, from Tennessee’s 48th District filed legislation Tuesday, House Bill 0042, that would charge any Federal agent with a Class A Misdemeanor for enforcing or attempting to enforce a federal law, statute, rule, regulation or executive order that bans, restricts or requires the registration of any semi automatic firearm, firearm accessory or ammunition.
“In light of recent comments and actions taken by President Obama and Vice President Biden, I believe it is necessary that Tennessee proactively promote, maintain and defend Tennessee’s sovereignty guaranteed to it in the 10th Amendment of the Constitution. Additionally this most blatant assault on the 2nd Amendment by the Obama Administration is a systematic effort to disarm the law biding citizens of the United States. The 2nd Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights which was intended to protect the individual and the states from the tyranny of government,” stated Representative Carr.
Carr also said, “The 2nd Amendment is not meant just for hunters, it specifically states that ‘A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed’, therefore, the Federal government shall not through law or executive order infringe upon our Constitutional-given rights as citizens of the United States and the Great State of Tennessee.”
Recently, Carr announced the formation of the 10th Amendment Caucus, a group he co-founded with State Representative Judd Matheny from Tennessee’s 47th District. The Caucus will be focused on advancing the Constitutional requirement for states to maintain, promote and defend the 10th Amendment. Additionally, Carr is the architect and author of almost all Illegal Immigration laws in Tennessee. Due to his efforts, Tennessee has some of the strongest enforceable immigration laws in the United States.

Joe,
Now is the time to show us if you are real, or not. The rest of you, including Vance Dennis, we are watching and waiting to see if you honor your word (oath) and the Constitution. Vance is new and hasn’t initiated or co-sponsored anything. This would be the best way to start!
Marsha,
You can redeem yourself with me (at least, to a certain extent). Its time for you to honor your oath.

Take an anti-nausea pill and watch the following interview of Rep Marsha Blackburn, of TN (my Congressperson) with Alex Jones (never mind him).
One might think that the great Mrs Blackburn is doing something to help us against the horrors of the TSA (and their unhinged pedophiles and rapists). She did a report that focused on 50 criminals that TSA hired (including a de-frocked Catholic priest that was a molester). She is “struggling” to get her fellow LAW MAKERS (who, btw, are the ones instrumental in CREATING the TSA) to get on board with awesome bill that simply makes the molesters change their uniforms back to a golf shirt and does NOTHING to keep their fingers out of our vaginas.
Sure, there are criminals in the TSA, like every other area of bureaucracy, but the STRIP Act doesn’t address the root of the issue, which is the entire loss of rights. Hell, if she was going to do something about law-breakers, she needn’t go any further than the floor her office in Washington is found.
The TSA folks are supposed to “assist” travelers as Customer Service Reps. Yet, the idea of their continued rape and other assaults are not as important as the fact that they are using a uniform. Why bother with banning uniforms or their ability to call themselves “officers”? If they are worthless (not having stopped any terrorism since their inception), why not simply disband the entire criminal cabal? Why not turn back the legislation that created the monster instead of more innocuous legislation that does almost nothing?
* And, yes the fact that she is on AJ’s show proves that this is a diversion.

Have my fellow Tennesseans paid much attention lately to your representatives and how they vote? How about your beloved Senators?
Video Rebel lists all the representatives that voted to keep you from “protesting” around them. I wanted to share the locals, for your education and possible discussion. I am also including the Mississippi chickenshits, since that is my home state and friends still endure their sorry asses. They are deathly afraid of facing any assembly of folks that might be finally getting fed up with their shenanigans and have signed the latest bill that strips you of even MORE of your rights (I’m sure most will just yawn). The Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011 is a bit more than simply providing Mexican lawn care workers to take care of the grass around Federal Buildings. It is meant for you (well, “you”, meaning those who are awake and want answers).
There are a few that didn’t bow to their Masters in Israel, but they are a minority. Notice that none of them mind spending as much as you make in a year traveling around on junkets, while most are to afraid to spend much time in their district. Remember last summer’s break, when a mass of sycophantic Zionist Jew worshipers took their allegiance trip to Israel? At least Marsha didn’t make that trip. Cohen (a Zionist Jew), however, made his (imagine that).

One could look at the list of people who voted for the NDAA and perhaps feel a bit better (Marsha Blackburn DID vote “aye”, showing that she is not interested in preserving our liberties), but not much.
Now to Lame Alexander. I received my monthly email newsletter from him. Apparently, he is very worried about the “checks and balances” that Obama is ruining for Congress. He wrote something about his imaginary outrage here. This is a very slimy man, who also could care less about the Constitution, much less any checks and balances. You know, Lame, if you really were worried, you might work with Congress to impeach the liar, instead of clutching your faux pearls of shame. You might not have voted FOR the patriot Act (and every extension). You might have not voted to continue the bogus Iraq War that you were complicit in getting started (or too stupid to see was a bunch of malarkey). You might have not voted against implementing the 911 Commission’s recommendations (no matter how bogus they were), but better yet, sponsor a new, REAL investigation, since many of the members and its legal council have come out and said it was bogus. You might even vote to dismantle the TSA and certainly work to stop their roadside drug searches in your own state. Maybe you would even call out Israel, but instead, you love them and their “democracy” (apparently more than your own country). Maybe you could fight for American jobs instead of voting to allow corporations to keep their tax free crap from overseas profits.
If the man truly gave more than his obligatory lie, he might not have voted lock-step “yea” on the NDAA. He might actually tell us the truth. He might actually fight for liberties, instead of stripping as many as he can muster.
Oh yeah, as aside note to all the PaulTards, the bastion for personal liberties didn’t even bother to vote on either of the above mentioned recent bills.
Suckers.
Oh yeah, now Tennesseans have voted to put Santorum on the ballot. Speaking of suckers.

Conduct an immediate, independent investigation of 911 (all facets leading up to and after the event). Any and all conspirators and their operatives should be summarily executed upon any finding of guilt (for this would be obvious treason). Any person or organization found to have lied, misrepresented, or hid facts revolving what happened on that fateful day should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (members of the 911 Commission, Zelikow, Bush Admin officials, etc)
“Think Tanks” and other Elitist organizations with obvious blood lust as their mantra should be dismantled and those people held to scrutiny of truth by the American public. No think tank (nor its Zionist operatives,) should be allowed to organize and write battle plans for any military endeavor. No organization or persons should be allowed to blatantly lie about rationale to invade innocent lands and those who did should be prosecuted and held responsible for those lies.
End the “War on Drugs” immediately
End The Empire immediately
End all of wars – Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… and all proxy wars, coup attempts, and assassinations
Eliminate all off shore military (Empire) bases and bring each and every military personnel home
Eliminate all over-seas money (especially to Israel)
Allow all “Too-Big-To-Fail” banks/corporations to fail like the rest of us when we over-extend or bet away our security.
Abolish Corporate person-hood.
Never vote for a Republican or Democrat (nor any defectors from these parties when we clean house)
Re-balance the power structure of the US Government (Executive power has been increased to dictatorial levels, but to the demise of the congressional power. There should be no presidential “signing statements”. )
Enact campaign finance laws taking corporate money out of elections (heavily scrutinize and hold accountable donations sent to congress people who cater to the whims of that industry: ie; Marsha Blackburn’s heavy telecom money influences her votes regarding legislature that affects them).
Have Term Limits and use a proportional voting system (shorten Senator terms to 4 years and increase Congressional seats to 4)
Minimize congressional pay, retirement and medical benefits (none of these millionaires have done anything to deserve these huge benefits and payouts for the rest of their lives). This should be an honor to serve and no enriching, lifelong career move.
Disallow wives and family members from active participation in congressional matters (example: Max Baucus’ wife). Obvious conflict of interest.
Disallow insider trading of Congressmen (the Congress has 50 times more millionaires than regular citizens, per capita). These people can get inside information and buy/sell stocks. For you or I, this is illegal. For them, its enriching.
Stop the revolving doors of industry/government. Want to know why regulators don’t regulate? Their next employer (the one they are supposed to watch) won’t like it. Look no further than this devil to see why there needs to be no revolving doors (he is responsible for the Patriot Act, much of the Homeland Security apparatus, and untold other secret initiatives AND is an Israeli dual citizen… see next point).
Do not allow dual citizenship personnel to be in our government (there is but one allegiance to as an elected official in America and that is to AMERICA, not Israel, nor any OTHER country). Frankly, as opposed to the Senators who don’t even question such things, I don’t trust anyone who shows allegiance to two different masters. For such devotees can only hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other (Matt 6:24). They certainly cannot be trusted. Period.
Stop all foreign campaign finance and strongarming by lobbying groups whose allegiance is to another country (AIPAC, as an example). What a Zionist wants for America is NOT what is BEST for America, but is BEST for Israel and their world take-over agenda.
Mandatory disclosure of ALL personal information when running for elected office with exclusion and/or prosecution for those who refuse (never allow a dead beat draft dodger or Kenyan with a Connecticut birth certificate… having never actually lived in Connecticut… become leaders of this country).
Audit the FED… hold the thieves accountable… Close the Fed… enact a viable financial system where the government issues currency backed by precious metals (never allow a fiat currency in this country again)
Eliminate the IRS.
Eliminate personal and corporate income tax.
Eliminate the estate (death) tax.
Abolish Obama Care… implement Single Payer, Not-For-Profit healthcare. (Get the middle man insurance companies out of it.)
Immediately reduce Federal spending by 25%, minimum
Eliminate hundreds of unnecessary Federal agencies, including the FDA, Education, Dept of Agriculture, etc (not to mention all the pork and hidden payouts found deep inside bills)
Abolish the Department of Homeland Security and its entire apparatus (especially the TSA)
Repeal the Patriot Act
Prosecute, imprison or execute the ones (including George W Bush) who are responsible for torture to be conducted in our names. Prosecute and imprison any and all presidents who do not hold these murderers accountable, including Barack Obama. Obama, himself, should be held accountable for the murder of American citizens without a trial.
Balance the Budget
Secure our borders, pursue a sane immigration policy

Of course she didn’t. But she did call me and was sorry that I was unable to join in on the town hall conference call (some of the latest and greatest technology available).
Wow, what a chipper woman. It might help had you not called my FAX line, for goodness sake. I am sure I would be interested in asking you about those 71 that will die in our district simply due to the lack of health insurance. Rep Grayson mentioned them in this series of videos starting with the following:
And speaking of which, I’d like to share the list that Chris Kromm of Facing South (written by Sue Sturgis) sent me that shows the numbers per congressman of folks in the south that will die due to lack of health insurance. I’m sure you can shrug this off just like Jesus did:
I dunno bout you, but that seems like a lot of dead folk. I’m sure they are all dead beats, anyway, right?
At least we won’t starve to death (h/t A Tiny Revolution):
Nearly half of all U.S. children and 90 percent of black youngsters will be on food stamps at some point during childhood.
“The current recession is likely to generate for children in the United States the greatest level of material deprivation that we will see in our professional lifetimes,” Stanford pediatrician Dr. Paul Wise wrote.
The analysis is in line with other recent research suggesting that more than 40 percent of U.S. children will live in poverty or near-poverty by age 17.
Right. Just more dead beats, huh?

and ask them to co-sponsor HR 1207, “The Federal Reserve Transparency Act.”
Use the sample letter below or craft your own.
Dear Representative [ ],
I encourage you to cosponsor H.R. 1207, “The Federal Reserve Transparency Act,” which would eliminate the restrictions on U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) audits of the Federal Reserve.
Since its inception, the Federal Reserve has operated without sufficient transparency or accountability to the American people. In fact, current law specifically excludes the Fed from a thorough audit or real congressional oversight. No government agency has such an utter lack of sunshine.
The Federal Reserve has created and dispersed trillions of dollars in response to our current financial crisis. Americans across the nation, regardless of their opinion on the bailouts, want to know where that money has gone and exactly how much has been spent.
H.R. 1207 would open up the Fed’s funding facilities, such as the Primary Dealer Credit Facility, Term Securities Lending Facility, and Term Asset-Backed Securities Lending Facility to congressional oversight.
Additionally, audits could include discount window operations, open market operations, and agreements with foreign central banks, such as the ongoing dollar swap operations with European central banks.
By opening all Fed operations to a GAO audit and calling for such an audit to be completed by the end of 2010, H.R. 1207 would achieve much-needed transparency of the Federal Reserve.
Sincerely,
Your NameAddressPhone number

Please prove me wrong, but I only have your past votes and pressers to go by. Thus far, you have little credibility, but dangit, I wish it would change.
March 20, 2009
Dear BuelahMan (real name):
What a pleasure to hear from you. Thank you for contacting me to share your support for a national health insurance plan. Hearing from constituents on issues of concern is important to me and our office as we work to represent our district.
Like you, I am concerned about the tens of millions of Americans who currently do not have health insurance. Today, more than 41 million Americans are either without health care or participate in a basic system that provides only marginal coverage. As a result of a myriad of state regulations and our tax code, many small businesses cannot afford to offer health insurance and many individuals cannot afford to purchase health insurance. Additionally, people often fear leaving their current job with employer-based health insurance due to the lack of portability and the limited number of affordable insurance options either for individuals or in the small business market.
Also, the rising cost of healthcare is a troubling problem. According to the most recent Medicare trustees report, total Medicare expenditures are estimated to be 3.2 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2006, reaching 11.0 percent in 2080. With our rapidly aging society, costs can be expected to increase as more individuals join the Medicare program. Without some true reform, the high cost of health care and the difficulties in obtaining health insurance will continue.
While I understand your desire for health care coverage for all Americans, I do not support a universal government run health care plan. A system like this would take away the ability for you to make decisions about your own health care and put it in the hands of government bureaucrats. The best way to expand health care coverage is by giving the individual the power to choose a medical option with his or her own insurance, not by having a government official tell us what procedures are allowed and refuse to provide additional treatments. As the 111th Congress begins, I will continue to push for reforms that will lower costs and increase health care options for all Americans.
Please be assured of my continued commitment to ensuring Americans have access to health insurance. Congress must do more to expand high quality health care and make it more available and affordable for working families. Our nation must move from today’s bureaucracy-driven, heavily regulated health care system to a new patient-centered system of consumer choice and free-market competition. As your Representative, I am committed to making sure that all of Tennessee’s families have access to affordable, high quality health care, and I will continue to work hard so that this goal can be realized.
Please know that I appreciate both your interest and time in contacting us on this issue. As the discussion moves forward on this and other issues, please feel free to visit our website at www.house.gov/blackburn where you can sign-up for our email update, learn about constituent services, and find the latest legislative news and critical information that affects and concerns the people of Tennessee.
Sincerely,
Marsha Blackburn
Member of Congress

The above was a response to my letter to Mrs Blackburn telling her unequivocally how America must implement a Single-payer, not-for-profit healthcare system, basically just like the one she is on (or is available via her job and my tax money). One like Medicare, but better… improved… yes, just like hers.
Mrs Blackburn says, “I am concerned about the tens of millions of Americans who currently do not have health insurance”, but has the same old bullshit caveat that says, “While I understand your desire for health care coverage for all Americans, I do not support a universal government run health care plan.”
Notice how she shifted the subject to something that I didn’t ask for. The Socialism Bogey Man syndrome that Mrs Blackburn apparently thinks that her constituents agree with. Forgive me, Mrs Blackburn, but you are a hypocrite and a callous, evil, non-caring one, at that.
When you say, “ system like this would take away the ability for you to make decisions about your own health care and put it in the hands of government bureaucrats,” you are bald-faced lying about the subject, or are too stupid to understand the system that is being asked for. But not only that, you have an office in Jackson, TN (I live about 1.5 hours from there), and you have the audacity to describe some bogey man when your very own constituents are suffering from the control of the Insurance Companies, HMO’s and just bad medicine practiced down here. Believe me, I have so many horror stories to tell about the healthcare down here, that your idiotic talking point regurgitation is seen for what it is… a big pile of bullshit.
You simply do not “Get It”, Mrs Blackburn, and I find it amazing that these people elected you again. There isn’t enough Big Money here to be the culprit, so it must be the stupidity and gullibility of the people in SW TN that got you elected. This very response proves to me that you are clueless about this situation.
But I found a long time ago that all one has to do is “Follow the Money, honey” and I followed yours to right here.
You are only fooling the most ignorant, Marsha. But there are more of us awakening to you and your corrupt cronies. It is but a matter of time before enough of us see that Big Banking and Big Meds are your coffers (not to mention Big Telecom which you helped to protect from their illegal wiretapping). No, Marsha. We know precisely who you are and who you represent.
It ain’t Tennesseans, that is for damned sure.

She is my rep and I am flabbergasted that she can go on TV and lie and obfuscate the poignant issues Rick Sanchez brings up. (Please see the C-Span Junkie video here)
Also note the Header for his post:
LOLOL
This woman needs to go, but there are so many gullible and foolish SW Tennesseans that I am not surprised that she won her re-election.
I live among idiots.
Please try to justify her comments in the comment section below. I’d love to “discuss” it with you…

I received a response from my Congressman, Marsha Blackburn today. It was a canned response and I am sure many you may have received the exact same message.
She blames issues on anything and everything except what has caused the problem, so my initial kudos has now been replaced with total disdain. She was covering her ass from the outrage her constituents were showing here and she found a way to not vote and still make it political. Such is politics in America.
But, as I have expressed over and over, there will NEVER be enough. I mean, hell, it already grew from the $700B to $850B, anyway.
But only a few are discussing what the real concern is and that will be that all we have done is minimize the loss of the rich bastards who did this and haven’t done a god danged thing to help us. You aren’t getting help on your mortgage. You are getting any help in health coverage. You ain’t getting shit… AND you know it.
That is called being FUCKING STUPID, rednecks. It is fucking stupid that more of you aren’t outraged and scared to death that they will get more.
It is fucking stupid because the world’s financial markets are all tanking. Russia, European, South American and yes, the mighty Wall Street also has taken another huge hit, in lieu of the bail out that was supposed to “fix things”.
They “fixed” their pocketbooks, rednecks. That is all.
And they will come around asking for more… and you will be a bit more outraged, but not enough to stop the $Trillion dollar request around the corner.
Much less being outraged that they may damn well call martial Law and shut this whole country down, bringing devastation to us all.
Redneck: You Have Been Screwed
I don’t have many good things to say about Mrs Blackburn (we don’t see eye to eye on many issues). But I would be remiss if I were not to express thanks for her vote against the bail out today.
I do have problems with her adoration of Senator McCain since he voted FOR a similar resolution in the Senate, then she says, “Still, I believe that Wall Street has gotten away with armed robbery. They put a gun to the economy’s head and told us that unless we forked over $700 billion, they would shoot.”
If this is the case, it should be paramount that warrants be issued for these culprits and a major change be made to the system to stop it. I have written and linked to various articles that I believe prove that this bail-out will usher in an even bigger problem and so, when the real problems begin, the dollar will be worthless.
The hope is that somehow we can weather along enough to keep us fat, dumb and happy for a while.
But what if the more sinister thing is happening? What if they are purposefully driving down the dollar to break it and come back with a new currency? What if?
So, Mrs Blackburn, thank you so much for standing up for us. But please do not let it end here. Take this initiative (which I believe will held solidify your stance in SW TN) and fix the problem. Join in with Democratic representatives like DeFazio, Sherman and Kucinich, who are presenting real solutions for those of us poor folks who are suffering so much.
Representative Blackburn’s message about the bill posted today on her website:
Washington, Oct 3 - Rep. Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) today voted against the financial bailout package. Her statement follows:
“Today I voted against passage of a massive $700 billion bailout package. The package before us was far better than the ill conceived plan that Secretary Paulson originally delivered to Congress. We had to act quickly, and I do not fault those of my colleagues who voted yes. While we may have disagreed over this vote, we must agree that addressing the root cause is an imperative.
“Senator McCain and my Republican Colleagues deserve our thanks. They stood up for conservative values and made a dismal proposal far better. Many of the components I objected to in the bill have been addressed. The Government will now be able to insure bad loans rather than purchase them. They will be able to use regulatory tools like the FDIC to increase liquidity without leveraging federal assets. Tennesseans will have vital tax equity provisions restored for another year. Had conservatives not fought for our principles, none of this would be possible.
“Ultimately, raising the debt limit to more than $11 trillion without cutting a single dollar of federal spending was a cost too great to bear. I simply could not vote to inflate the federal debt without cutting a single dollar in federal spending in good conscience. If the American people have to foot the bill for Wall Street greed and the Administration feels this is the most prudent way forward; then every Federal agency should be compelled to do their part and reduce what they are spending.
“Still, I believe that Wall Street has gotten away with armed robbery. They put a gun to the economy’s head and told us that unless we forked over $700 billion, they would shoot.
“I am skeptical that this bailout will be the great salvation the Administration told us it would be. Too much has been left unaddressed. The government policy that drove us into this mess remains in place. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac executives have paid no price for their excesses. Many Members of Congress are unresolved to take the important next step.
“I believe firmly that to put our financial house in order, we must begin to reverse the debilitating policies of the past. The Community Reinvestment Act must be reformed or eliminated and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac must be privatized or dismantled. We must pull government out of the mortgage market as quickly as possible. It is government intervention in the process and hastily crafted legislation that becomes law that started this crisis- it must stop. I pledge that when Congress returns in January, I will make that my first priority.”
We have only one real chance and that is to contact your representative today.
Check here to see if they voted for or against on Monday. Thank them if voting against and ask them to not budge on that vote. If they voted for it, call them and tell them they will lose your vote if they vote for it.
Call 800-473-6711 or 800-828-0498 or 202-224-3121
These are the folks that have changed their vote since Monday- Jim Ramstad (R-MN), John Shadegg (R-AZ), Zach Wamp (R-TN), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Shelley Berkley (D-NV), Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) and John Lewis (D- GA). Other possible switches include Pat Tiberi (R-OH), Pete Hoekstra (R-MI), John Yarmouth (D-KY), Brian Bilbray (R-CA), Steve Rothman (D-NJ), Lee Terry (R-NE), Jim Gerlach (R-PA), Tim Murphy (R-PA), Jason Altmire (D-PA), and Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ). But others may switch from Yes to No, including Ed Markey (D-MA), Charlie Melancon (D-LA), and Spencer Bachus (R-AL).
It is especially important to contact these individuals.
I called Marsha Blackburn’s office in Washington this morning and also sent this email:
Congressman Blackburn,
Thank you for voting against the Wall-Street Bail-out on Monday. I hope that you will not budge one iota (and believe me, we are watching closely here in Savannah).
To my dismay, our Tennessee Senators not only voted FOR this atrocious bill, but Sen Alexander was leading the way.
It is my opinion that our country has made huge mistakes in policy over the last 20 years that have culminated in this disaster. Deregulation, allowing manufacturing to dissolve, forcing us into buying via credit, cheap products from off shore.
We must reinvest in America’s manufacturing. If we are going to use my Tax money, we should use it for something that stands a chance of working. Bailing out the rich thieves on Wall-Street… allowing foreign banks to jump in on the fleecing of America, and the stinking pork thrown into the Senate bill is all the more reason for normal Americans to see that the rich fat cats are simply pillaging our economy and want us poor people to pay for it.
This bail-out will simply do one thing. Make the thieves even richer and disallow them being held accountable.
As for the credit crisis: when I stop seeing the 3-4 credit card company letters EVERY DAY, I will believe it. 10 loan letters a week. Are you seriously believing the lies that are being told. I get offers every day for credit.
Here is my plan for a bail-out.
I pay $25K out of pocket every year for healthcare and it is simply going to bankrupt me. Fix that problem by bailing me out. If you take care of my health and the outrageous premiums and costs, I can handle the rest.
But think about that number, $25,000. I haven’t even eaten yet. How many people in Savannah do you know with health care that expensive?
My point? I am doing all I can to work within the system, but the system is corrupt. The last thing we need to do is pay for the rich folks when it is US poor folks that are hurting the most.
I have already been forced to sell my house and now rent. I am $60K in credit debt that I cannot dig myself out of, because healthcare is eating all my money. I travel with work (sales) and the cost is skyrocketing.
I NEED HELP!!! One heck-uv-a lot more than those rich people who get their $30Billion golden parachutes… or the ex-leaders of Goldman Sachs who is obviously taking America’s money to protect his old company.
Bring manufacturing back.
Focus on America, for God’s sake. Stop taking care of the foreign folks and the tax evaders who have moved their American operations off shore. Stop bowing to the elites who have taken America to the brink of disaster.
Mrs Blackburn, I am asking that you stand up for Americans. Do Not Side with Big Money or you lose my vote.
I hope this is clear.
