One is that according to the official story, a handful of Arabs, mainly Saudi Arabians, operating independently of any government and competent intelligence service, men without James Bond and V for Vendetta capabilities, outwitted not only the CIA, FBI, and National Security Agency, but all 16 US intelligence agencies, along with all security agencies of America’s NATO allies and Israel’s Mossad. … 9/11 was a PSYOP not only on the American public, but the entire world.  Israel and international Jewry, along with their goyim puppets in the Jew-run United States government, perpetrated this massive fraud against the world 11 years ago today in order to demonize Islam, launch the fraudulent “Global War on Terror” against Israel’s Muslim enemies in the Middle East, and initiate their Zionist-run police state tyranny in the United States and other Western countries.  It is past time for the American public to wake up from this trauma-based mind control operation and recognize that Israel was behind 9/11, not Osama bin Laden and “Muslim extremists”.  Anyone saying anything to the contrary is working for the enemy, knowingly or unknowingly. Again, Mr Roberts clues us in to at least one aspect of “why”:

The circumstantial evidence is that these were orchestrated events designed to keep fear alive, to create new intrusive powers for a new over-arching federal policy agency, to accustom US citizens to intrusive searches and a police force to conducting them, and to sell expensive porno-scanners and now more advanced devices to the Transportation Safety Administration. Apparently, this expensive collection of high-tech gadgetry is insufficient to protect us from terrorists, and in August 2012 the Department of Homeland Security put in an order for 750 million rounds of ammunition, enough to shoot every person in the US 2.5 times.

B’Man’s Rants: What Can Be Done To Fix The Country I Love?

Not Necessarily In Any Particular Order:

Conduct an immediate, independent investigation of 911 (all facets leading up to and after the event). Any and all conspirators and their operatives should be summarily executed upon any finding of guilt (for this would be obvious treason). Any person or organization found to have lied, misrepresented, or hid facts revolving what happened on that fateful day should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (members of the 911 Commission, Zelikow, Bush Admin officials, etc)

“Think Tanks” and other Elitist organizations with obvious blood lust as their mantra should be dismantled and those people held to scrutiny of truth by the American public. No think tank (nor its Zionist operatives,) should be allowed to organize and write battle plans for any military endeavor. No organization or persons should be allowed to blatantly lie about rationale to invade innocent lands and those who did should be prosecuted and held responsible for those lies.

End the “War on Drugs” immediately

End The Empire immediately

End all of wars – Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… and all proxy wars, coup attempts, and assassinations

Eliminate all off shore military (Empire) bases and bring each and every military personnel home

Eliminate all over-seas money (especially to Israel)

Allow all “Too-Big-To-Fail” banks/corporations to fail like the rest of us when we over-extend or bet away our security.

Abolish Corporate person-hood.

Never vote for a Republican or Democrat (nor any defectors from these parties when we clean house)

Re-balance the power structure of the US Government (Executive power has been increased to dictatorial levels, but to the demise of the congressional power. There should be no presidential “signing statements”. )

Enact campaign finance laws taking corporate money out of elections (heavily scrutinize and hold accountable donations sent to congress people who cater to the whims of that industry: ie; Marsha Blackburn’s heavy telecom money influences her votes regarding legislature that affects them).

Have Term Limits and use a proportional voting system (shorten Senator terms to 4 years and increase Congressional seats to 4)

Minimize congressional pay, retirement and medical benefits (none of these millionaires have done anything to deserve these huge benefits and payouts for the rest of their lives). This should be an honor to serve and no enriching, lifelong career move.

Disallow wives and family members from active participation in congressional matters (example: Max Baucus’ wife). Obvious conflict of interest.

Disallow insider trading of Congressmen (the Congress has 50 times more millionaires than regular citizens, per capita). These people can get inside information and buy/sell stocks. For you or I, this is illegal. For them, its enriching.

Stop the revolving doors of industry/government. Want to know why regulators don’t regulate? Their next employer (the one they are supposed to watch) won’t like it. Look no further than this devil to see why there needs to be no revolving doors (he is responsible for the Patriot Act, much of the Homeland Security apparatus, and untold other secret initiatives AND is an Israeli dual citizen… see next point).

Do not allow dual citizenship personnel to be in our government (there is but one allegiance to as an elected official in America and that is to AMERICA, not Israel, nor any OTHER country). Frankly, as opposed to the Senators who don’t even question such things, I don’t trust anyone who shows allegiance to two different masters. For such devotees can only hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other (Matt 6:24). They certainly cannot be trusted. Period.

Stop all foreign campaign finance and strongarming by lobbying groups whose allegiance is to another country (AIPAC, as an example). What a Zionist wants for America is NOT what is BEST for America, but is BEST for Israel and their world take-over agenda.

Mandatory disclosure of ALL personal information when running for elected office with exclusion and/or prosecution for those who refuse (never allow a dead beat draft dodger or Kenyan with a Connecticut birth certificate… having never actually lived in Connecticut… become leaders of this country).

Audit the FED… hold the thieves accountable… Close the Fed… enact a viable financial system where the government issues currency backed by precious metals (never allow a fiat currency in this country again)

Eliminate the IRS.

Eliminate personal and corporate income tax.

Eliminate the estate (death) tax.

Abolish Obama Care… implement Single Payer, Not-For-Profit healthcare. (Get the middle man insurance companies out of it.)

Immediately reduce Federal spending by 25%, minimum

Eliminate hundreds of unnecessary Federal agencies, including the FDA, Education, Dept of Agriculture, etc (not to mention all the pork and hidden payouts found deep inside bills)

Abolish the Department of Homeland Security and its entire apparatus (especially the TSA)

Repeal the Patriot Act

Prosecute, imprison or execute the ones (including George W Bush) who are responsible for torture to be conducted in our names. Prosecute and imprison any and all presidents who do not hold these murderers accountable, including Barack Obama. Obama, himself, should be held accountable for the murder of American citizens without a trial.

Balance the Budget

Secure our borders, pursue a sane immigration policy

There is one thing that defines everyone over the course of these early years of this new century. That thing is the 9/11 attack. A Follow Up To “I Hate What America Has Become”

Kenny’s Sideshow has become one of my favorite blogs and I can say that the author is a fellow Tennessean (which is impressive in and of itself). Great stuff and in one recent example of a find he made (and I knew I had to share here) in a post I called “The Land Of The Sheep And Home Of The Slave” (which is a line from the article).

I was subscribing to the comment feed of Kenny’s post when “Anonymous” posted several items (claiming he was the original author). The style is very similar which means that the following has some rough language in it, so

I can’t vouch for the authorship, but it looks/sounds/reads the same. More importantly, it is the follow-up thoughts and plan for correcting the mess he discussed in the first piece that is worthy of note and careful consideration.

Hello people. I am the original author of this piece. I will reprint the comments I made on this piece I wrote from the first blog I noticed it had been reprinted on:

Today, rained out from work and at home on my computer, I was indulging myself in one of my hobbies which is reading and occasionally posting on L.A. Craigslist’s “Rants and Raves”, and noticed that someone had reprinted this rant I wrote last year, that they mentioned was taken from a Craigslist R&R in “Yoopers”….Damn, I thought to myself….maybe this thing grew legs since I wrote it…so I did a Google search on “friggin’ Gomers” and I see that it indeed has (lol).

I live in the Los Angeles area. Interestingly enough, this post made the “Best of Craigslist” in Portland. I wish I was as encouraged that it could make a difference in America’s collective consciousness as I am flattered that so many people seem to relate to it. I also wish I lived in a country where being identified as the author of this piece wouldn’t expose me to possible FBI surveillance, but as my dad used to say, “Wish in one hand and shit in the other, and see which one fills up first.”

If you’re wondering why I don’t sound as angry in this post as I did in the “I Hate What America Has Become” post…well, I have my moments, believe me. Every time I see Satan’s Cherub Cheney on the TV and realize how many good people have died because of this pig and others like him, every time I see footage from Israel on the news that never mentions their apartheid wall, every time a Neocon poison spout like Norman Podhoretz gets national air time to advocate nuking Iran, and every time America’s idiot centerpiece Sarah Palin rakes in another hundred grand for opening her vapid pie-hole…yeah, I get a little irritable.

I did leave America for a little while BTW. I went somewhere really nice. There were a lot of other Americans living there as well, some of whom I know moved away for some of the same reasons I am beginning to feel…that this country is already done. America will never be America again unless a cataclysmic change happens, unless shitstains like Bill Oreilly begin to be seen by Liberals AND Conservatives for exactly what they are…Joe McCarthyist, anti free speech corporate attack dogs who would have licked Hitler’s boots to have had their little cabaret shows on air in WWII Germany. And I would LOVE the opportunity to say that to Oreilly’s spider-veined, liver spotted face someday too…IF I could bring myself to stand face to face with that piece of garbage without taking a swing at him, which I sincerely doubt. He deserves getting the absolute shit beat out of him just for the nauseating rhetoric he spewed that was contributary to the murder of Dr. Tiller IMHO.

In case anyone is interested, here are a few changes that I believe would be neccessary to save America, and that I also believe will NOT happen without a complete revolt by THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA:

1. An END to corporate money in politics…and by an end, I mean any politician or corporate representative caught exchanging money or items of value in order to influence public policy gets 20 YEARS IN JAIL. PERIOD.

2. ANY media outlet that carries news or politics (magazines, radio stations, tv stations, etc) as a prerequisite for their license must give free of charge equal air time to ANY CANDIDATE that has collected a threshold amount of signatures to be on the ballot REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL PARTY AFFILIATION. This would eliminate the need for the vast sums of money candidates now must raise to compete, and also eliminate the favoritism shown to the two major parties.

3. An end to EXECUTIVE WRITS. When the president can arbitrarily pick up a pen and circumvent the Constitution and the entire legislative branch of government (W was famous for it) what the fuck difference is that from a monarchy, dictatorship, etc? What good are our system of checks and balances with a ‘kill switch’ like that? No too fucking very, my friends.

4. An END to our FINANCIAL AND MILITARY SUPPORT OF ISRAEL. God DAMN right. They’re a rich country. They do NOT need our money. We do NOT NEED THEIR BAGGAGE. They are an APARTHEID NATION, and for Ronald Reagan to say 20 years ago “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” then for us to turn around 13 years later and help to fund a longer and higher one in Palestine…well…gross hypocrisy is the first term that comes to mind. Any other country that pulled that shit would get sanctioned….as Israel has been nearly 70 times by the UN…with the USA being the LONE dissenting vote. This jaundiced favoritism needs to END.

5. AIPAC (the American Israeli Political Action Committee) needs to register as a FOREIGN lobbyist. They currently operate free of the restrictions placed on foreign lobbyists, which is obviously unfair and inequitable. I suggest reading Walt and Mearscheimer’s report on the unchecked power of the Israeli lobby in American politics if anyone doubts what I am saying.

6. An END to DUAL CITIZENS IN OUR GOVERNMENT….ANYWHERE. America can no longer afford questionable alliances in positions of power.

7. An END to the not-so-FEDERAL RESERVE. I’m always suprised by the number of Americans who do not realize that the FED consists of a string of PRIVATE BANKS…that have NEVER BEEN AUDITED. Our money isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on, and the Federal Reserve is one of the main reasons.

8. A renewed investigation into the crime that was never properly investigated that forever changed America….9/11. Bush and Cheney resisted ANY investigation into 9/11 for A YEAR AND A HALF, refused to testify on the record or seperately to this rigged commission, then ONLY when public pressure mounted to the point that it could no longer be ignored, they placed in charge of the commission a man who in 1998 had written the following:

I guess visualizing world peace, or ways to preserve America’s freedoms in the wake of such an “event” was too much too ask of this clairvoyantly imaginative person who “magically” ended up presiding over a so-called ‘fact finding’ commission dealing with the same subject matter he wrote his college thesis on. Listen to the way the guy places almost gleeful emphasis on all the negative aspects toward America, the loss of freedoms, the government exploitation of the resultant chaos…..and this is the person Bush and Cheney chose to head the 9/11 commission. One of the PNAC document authors, and coiners of the phrase “A New Pearl Harbor”. Personally, I’d like to give this asshole his OWN Pearl Harbor.

A lot to chew on, but I like the “coincidence” that he points out about Zelikow. Amazing, huh? But even better is the plan of action he lays out (which melds closely with my plan). What would you add?

If The Shoe Were On The Other Foot…

Last March I wrote about how I felt in response to Muntazer al-Zaidi’s shoe chunking, going so far as to call him a “patriot”.

I wrote:

Of course you don’t normally treat a foreign head of state in such a manner by throwing shoes. But in this case, the man had my permission and should be let go and paraded throughout the streets of Iraq as a hero, even if only a hero to many Americans. It just so happens that my mother threw a thousand shoes at me, so the significance of “offense” eludes me, therefore I recommend a big stinking, hot turd for the next patriot that tries. If close enough, a good hocker to the face will do.

Now THAT would be offensive and deserved.

I can understand, perfectly, why this man would hold George W Bush and America, as a whole, in disdain and hatred. Can you not understand that?

Are you so detached that you still believe we are there for their good and not ours? That we are there for lies and war profiteering? To control the region as we take over control of their resources (namely oil)?

Mr Zaidi is a hero to many Iraqis and truthfully, to me, too. For he stands in defiance of the Imperialism that has murdered and pillaged its way into his country.

The only thing I can do to try to understand their plight is to imagine myself in their shoes… as if their shoes were on my feet. I actually posted a video back in January about how I would set up an insurgency if we had been invaded by Iraq. Essentially turning the tables (sort of rambling the first couple minutes… yawn):

Yes, ugly cuss and hardly able to string a sentence together, but hopefully my point is understood. If anyone invaded this country, especially over lies and deceit and bogus rationale, woudn’t YOU help others stop them?

ISN’T IT THE PATRIOTIC THING TO DO?

I saw a snippet of Mr Zaidi’s article published at the Guardian UK over at AfterDowningStreet and it caused me to rethink my original position. It is even more emboldened in my mind. I do not want another single American killed over these criminal wars of aggression on innocent people (let us bring our forces home where they need to be). And I don’t want another American (or bomb) killing another of these innocent people.

For who knows: It may be me throwing a shoe at some Chinese leader someday (or a turd, should that be more offensive here).

Why I threw the shoe

I am free. But my country is still a prisoner of war. There has been a lot of talk about the action and about the person who took it, and about the hero and the heroic act, and the symbol and the symbolic act. But, simply, I answer: what compelled me to act is the injustice that befell my people, and how the occupation wanted to humiliate my homeland by putting it under its boot.

Over recent years, more than a million martyrs have fallen by the bullets of the occupation and Iraq is now filled with more than five million orphans, a million widows and hundreds of thousands of maimed. Many millions are homeless inside and outside the country.

We used to be a nation in which the Arab would share with the Turkman and the Kurd and the Assyrian and the Sabean and the Yazid his daily bread. And the Shia would pray with the Sunni in one line. And the Muslim would celebrate with the Christian the birthday of Christ. This despite the fact that we shared hunger under sanctions for more than a decade.

Our patience and our solidarity did not make us forget the oppression. But the invasion divided brother from brother, neighbour from neighbour. It turned our homes into funeral tents.

I am not a hero. But I have a point of view. I have a stance. It humiliated me to see my country humiliated; and to see my Baghdad burned, my people killed. Thousands of tragic pictures remained in my head, pushing me towards the path of confrontation. The scandal of Abu Ghraib. The massacre of Falluja, Najaf, Haditha, Sadr City, Basra, Diyala, Mosul, Tal Afar, and every inch of our wounded land. I travelled through my burning land and saw with my own eyes the pain of the victims, and heard with my own ears the screams of the orphans and the bereaved. And a feeling of shame haunted me like an ugly name because I was powerless.

As soon as I finished my professional duties in reporting the daily tragedies, while I washed away the remains of the debris of the ruined Iraqi houses, or the blood that stained my clothes, I would clench my teeth and make a pledge to our victims, a pledge of vengeance.

The opportunity came, and I took it.

I took it out of loyalty to every drop of innocent blood that has been shed through the occupation or because of it, every scream of a bereaved mother, every moan of an orphan, the sorrow of a rape victim, the teardrop of an orphan.

I say to those who reproach me: do you know how many broken homes that shoe which I threw had entered? How many times it had trodden over the blood of innocent victims? Maybe that shoe was the appropriate response when all values were violated.

When I threw the shoe in the face of the criminal, George Bush, I wanted to express my rejection of his lies, his occupation of my country, my rejection of his killing my people. If I have wronged journalism without intention, because of the professional embarrassment I caused the establishment, I apologise. All that I meant to do was express with a living conscience the feelings of a citizen who sees his homeland desecrated every day. The professionalism mourned by some under the auspices of the occupation should not have a voice louder than the voice of patriotism. James Traficant Blasts AIPAC

I happened upon this clip of Traficant on Greta Susteren’s show (h/t Prison Planet) and James struck me by his hard biting truth over how AIPAC controls every aspect and level of our government (towards the second half of the video):

In an interview with FOX NEWS Greta Van Susteren[19][20], he said he was the number one target of AIPAC and the U.S. Justice Department. Traficant denied he is anti-Semitic that “Israel has a powerful stranglehold on the American government,” controlling members of the House and Senate and involving the U.S. in wars in which it has little or no interest. Traficant mentions foreign aid in all forms to Israel is approximately $15 billion per year, which is about $30,000 per capita annually. Traficant notes that Delphi employees in Ohio have lost their pensions. He said he had predicted another economic depression, and people just laughed at him.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t know much about the man until I started reading about him this morning. He is an interesting character, to say the least. Apparently he was put in the Federal prison for taking campaign funds for personal use (and making his aides work on his farm and boat, I guess). But as I read through the Wiki page on him, I also noticed that he was a “tough guy” in prison and even started a riot.

Trafficant began serving at the first 17 months at FCI Allenwood and shortly after, he was shackled and put in solitary confinement for causing a riot, requesting a guard, ” People can’t hear you. Speak up”. [17] Beginning in March, 2004, for nine months, he served with 20 inmates in one locked room at the Federal Correctional Institution Raybrook with a public commode, and with 4 in a room at Federal Medical Center, Rochester for 3 years. He was admonished by prison officials in Raybrook he was only a “few points away” from a penitentiary. In the seven years of incarceration, he refused any visitors. He didn’t want anyone to see him. He wore his hair in a pony tail without his trademark, hairpiece. Traficant took up artwork while in prison. “I understood the dynamics of prison life,” he said. “And now what you have is, they want to keep the prisons open, keep the jobs going. They’re putting 20, 30 years on some of these young people, and it’s out of hand.” He observed the overcrowded prison system. He was released on September 2, 2009, at age 68 with three years of probation to serve.

I have no doubt that AIPAC does, in fact, have a stranglehold over our foreign affairs. It would also not surprise me that they are somehow connected to the events of 911, but I have no way of proving such a thing. I wonder if anyone has ever made the connection between the celebrating Israelis linked to Mossad that watched as the towers were hit and AIPAC? There is certainly a connection to the Bush Regime and these are not and never are consequences or amazing happenstance.

Change? Please Point Out The Truth In The Obama Rhetoric

People are hearing me spout off about the lack of change and the hoodwinking the Elite have perpetrated on us again. Many probably think I am just anti-Obama or racist or whatever. Nothing could be further from the truth. I ‘hope’ something good comes, but I would be a damned liar if I said that the things done and people appointed make me feel like any “change” is coming. Even Clinton’s foreign policy team asked the question and the said, “”This isn’t lightly flavored with Clintons. This is all Clintons, all the time.”

Boys and girls enamored with Barack Obama. This is my point. This isn’t anti-Obama, but anti-System. Obama IS the system. You have been duped to believe the “change” montra through his immaculate speech and way he carries himself. He is an impressive individual, I agree.

However, he is owned and you were duped. The most important things that NEED changing are not likely to happen and then, within two years (longer for the truly intoxicated) you will see it and then we go again to the elections where the reTHUGlican Party is re-made and they force another ownned clown down your throats.

This is Change? 20 Hawks, Clintonites and Neocons to Watch for in Obama’s White House

U.S. policy is not about one individual, and no matter how much faith people place in President-elect Barack Obama, the policies he enacts will be fruit of a tree with many roots. Among them: his personal politics and views, the disastrous realities his administration will inherit, and, of course, unpredictable future crises. But the best immediate indicator of what an Obama administration might look like can be found in the people he surrounds himself with and who he appoints to his Cabinet. And, frankly, when it comes to foreign policy, it is not looking good.

Obama has a momentous opportunity to do what he repeatedly promised over the course of his campaign: bring actual change. But the more we learn about who Obama is considering for top positions in his administration, the more his inner circle resembles a staff reunion of President Bill Clinton’s White House. Although Obama brought some progressives on board early in his campaign, his foreign policy team is now dominated by the hawkish, old-guard Democrats of the 1990s. This has been particularly true since Hillary Clinton conceded defeat in the Democratic primary, freeing many of her top advisors to join Obama’s team.

“What happened to all this talk about change?” a member of the Clinton foreign policy team recently asked the Washington Post. “This isn’t lightly flavored with Clintons. This is all Clintons, all the time.”

Amid the euphoria over Obama’s election and the end of the Bush era, it is critical to recall what 1990s U.S. foreign policy actually looked like. Bill Clinton’s  boiled down to a one-two punch from the hidden hand of the free market, backed up by the iron fist of U.S. militarism. Clinton took office and almost immediately bombed Iraq (ostensibly in retaliation for an alleged plot by Saddam Hussein to assassinate former President George H.W. Bush). He presided over a ruthless regime of economic sanctions that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, and under the guise of the so-called No-Fly Zones in northern and southern Iraq, authorized the longest sustained U.S. bombing campaign since Vietnam.

Under Clinton, Yugoslavia was bombed and dismantled as part of what Noam Chomsky described as the “New Military Humanism.” Sudan and Afghanistan were attacked, Haiti was destabilized and “free trade” deals like the North America Free Trade Agreement and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade radically escalated the spread of corporate-dominated globalization that hurt U.S. workers and devastated developing countries. Clinton accelerated the militarization of the so-called War on Drugs in Central and Latin America and supported privatization of U.S. military operations, giving lucrative contracts to Halliburton and other war contractors. Meanwhile, U.S. weapons sales to countries like Turkey and Indonesia aided genocidal campaigns against the Kurds and the East Timorese.

The prospect of Obama’s foreign policy being, at least in part, an extension of the Clinton Doctrine is real. Even more disturbing, several of the individuals at the center of Obama’s transition and emerging foreign policy teams were top players in creating and implementing foreign policies that would pave the way for projects eventually carried out under the Bush/Cheney administration. With their assistance, Obama has already charted out several hawkish stances. Among them:

– His plan to escalate the war in Afghanistan;

– An Iraq plan that could turn into a downsized and rebranded occupation that keeps U.S. forces in Iraq for the foreseeable future;

– His labeling of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a “terrorist organization;”

– His pledge to use unilateral force inside of Pakistan to defend U.S. interests;

– His position, presented before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), that Jerusalem “must remain undivided” — a remark that infuriated Palestinian officials and which he later attempted to reframe;

– His plan to continue the War on Drugs, a backdoor U.S. counterinsurgency campaign in Central and Latin America;

– His refusal to “rule out” using Blackwater and other armed private forces in U.S. war zones, despite previously introducing legislation to regulate these companies and bring them under U.S. law.

Obama did not arrive at these positions in a vacuum. They were carefully crafted in consultation with his foreign policy team. While the verdict is still out on a few people, many members of his inner foreign policy circle — including some who have received or are bound to receive Cabinet posts — supported the invasion and occupation of Iraq. Some promoted the myth that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. A few have worked with the neoconservative Project for the New American Century, whose radical agenda was adopted by the Bush/Cheney administration. And most have proven track records of supporting or implementing militaristic, offensive U.S. foreign policy. “After a masterful campaign, Barack Obama seems headed toward some fateful mistakes as he assembles his administration by heeding the advice of Washington’s Democratic insider community, a collective group that represents little ‘change you can believe in,’” notes veteran journalist Robert Parry, the former Associated Press and Newsweek reporter who broke many of the stories in the Iran-Contra scandal in the 1980s…

Iraq Approves Oil Deal With China

Iraq has approved a $3 billion deal with China to develop the al-Ahdab oil field.

It’s the first Saddam-era oil deal to be honored by the new Iraqi government. It initially was canceled after the 2003 invasion.

A government statement says the Cabinet approved the deal on Tuesday. It was signed last week in China.

Under the contract, China National Petroleum Corp. will develop the field for 20 years, the AP reported. It’s expected to produce up to 25,000 barrels a day after three years, and eventually reach 125,000 bpd.

The field is in Wasit province, about 99 miles southeast of Baghdad.

U.S. policy makers and American consumers in the past few months have been immersed in concerns about soaring oil prices and how to lower them. Fuel prices are also expected to be a focal issue when American voters cast their ballots in the upcoming presidential elections.

But while I can understand Americans’ fears about fuel prices and availability, writes Sarmad Ali for The Wall Street Journal, I have a harder time understanding why Iraqis — with their oases of crude oil reserves and untapped oilfields in the south and the north — have had to put up with high oil prices and severe shortages of gasoline, diesel and cooking gas.

Iraqi security forces took control of Sunni Anbar province from the US military Monday, a milestone in moves to wind down the American presence in a key area that was an insurgent stronghold.

Iraqi troops paraded with flags flying at a formal handover ceremony in the provincial capital Ramadi, once a byword for vicious fighting, though underlying political tensions are yet to be resolved, reports Ian Black for The Guardian.

Security progress after the U.S. troop surge has not been matched by internal political reconciliation. The Iraqi parliament has yet to pass a controversial election law that has been delayed by a dispute over the oil-rich northern province of Kirkuk.

B’Man: So, rednecks, we invaded a sovereign country for various reasons that have been proved as lies. By most estimations, one can reasonably consider Iraq’s oil reserves as a key REAL reason we are there (world domination is another). But, a far as real potential adversaries are concerned, both militarily and economically, China is far critical to our defense. So, did those camel jockeys (said tongue-in-cheek) go too far by giving OUR oil contracts to the Chinese?

Can anyone still tout ‘genius’ as a motivation for this idiotic move into the ME? Does anyone else see this very act an act of defiance from the Iraqi government? Could it be a thumb in our eye or a bird in our face?

Let us face it. Bush and the neocon cabal have screwed America and are forcing us into a situation with China and Russia that will devastate our economy and could actually be the death of us all.

Think about it. How long do you think the rest of the world will keep quiet? Do you think that it is remotely possible that Russia and China (perhaps Iran and other ME countries) will become so frightened by our world-grab that they might team up and give us a real battle? Do you think that if they were indeed frightened that we are trying to take their shit, or worse, kill them all, that they would send hundreds of nukes this way?

Is it possible that as Americans, we should rethink our Imperialistic advances, vote out those who are threatening the rest of the world and set a new standard. Make amends, explain that we have retaken the governement from the fools who have hijacked us and are now backing out of their yards.

THEN, explain that we will still wipe their ass out if any move is made in rhetrobution.

My point is that there should be no reason that we GIVE them to hate us and want us dead. However, what we are doing is giving the world reason to hate us and suspect us of evil motives. If I were them, I would. It is obvious that America (as is represented by the neocon/Zionist rule) is not what the REAL America stands for and we need to take it back.

In this what is now being Called an ‘Opinion’ piece, you will find ‘Opinions’ of others linked within. This isn’t the first report of this type and I suspect it will not be the last, until the Truth Finally is Revealed. Like the JFK Assassination, we may never know the Real Truth.

After almost 7 years you still believe what the Bush administration has spewed forth as the True reasons for the Collapse of the World Trade Centers building 1,2 and 7, you have no Common Sense. Yes I know Towers 1&2 were hit by Jets, Building 7 wasn’t. Yes I know there was Fire in Building 7, and I also know this was the First time in history Fire brought Down a Steel Frame building.

B’Man: Even some of the most stalwart progressive writers and celebrities write off 9/11 conspiracy theorists as idiotic, ignorant, fruitcakes, etc. Questioning ANYONE who questions whether or not someone within our government could or would conduct such an atrocity on its own soil. Matt Taibbi (someone I normally love to read) takes extra time to belittle anyone who suspects these monsters of such a thing (claiming they are too inept to carry it out). Bill Maher (another great progressive on many issues) takes time to belittle anyone that questions the neocons on this subject (but he has no problem finding any other subject to attack them on).

I am not sure why this is. Could it be because they haven’t taken any time to see the investigative reports and videos I have combed through for years. Have they conducted any research, whatsoever, that can give them reason to simply brush off what seems so apparent to many people? What would be their motivation to NOT look deeper… to simply agree with the meme that our government “wouldn’t” or doesn’t have the intelligence or wherewithal to do something like it?

How can they simply brush off all the detail and analysis with such abandon?

I can somewhat understand the basic MSM aversion to it, but these guys who normally are all over any mediocre sex or money conspiracy? Something isn’t right.

The Costs of War To The Children

B’Man: No… not our children, even though they WILL be paying for this mess that Bush and his crooked crew created. And yes, our children in America are losing alot… money that could and SHOULD be spent on our schools is now being spent on a perpetual game plan of keeping their children (yeah, them, the little camel jockey Muslims that don’t matter to Christian Americans…) in ignorance and turmoil.

What I believe is happening is intentional. For IF and when we ever leave and allow them to finish whatever it is they are going to do WITHOUT our puppet government and our armed forces installed to control their countryGreen Zone and finally establish the end result, the jig is up.

Another Iran was created due to our idiotic notion that their resources are ours to control. But, I believe that the game plan is working pretty much as they always wanted… or they would have done what the military leaders called for early on… hundreds of thousands of troops to handle the situation after the fall of Saddam. They intentionally DID NOT want that. They wanted turmoil and unrest and they continue to feed from that.

BAGHDAD, April 22 (Reuters) – Even after clashes erupted in the Sadr City slum in Baghdad, Thamir Saadoun still tried to go to school, hoping it would be open. When he got there the guard told him to go home. That was more than two weeks ago.

“I miss my friends. I haven’t seen them for weeks, I want to play with them,” said Saadoun, 12.

“I am fed up from sitting at home. I want to return to school to study and to be a doctor, to treat wounded people in the future if attacks happen.”

The education system in Iraq, once the envy of the Middle East, is now in tatters.

Violence, a collapse of school infrastructure and the mass displacement of both pupils and teachers have turned many of Iraq’s schools into fetid overcrowded ruins, jeopardising the futures of millions of children like Saadoun.

At the end of the 1980s, after pouring oil money into schools, Iraq had virtually eliminated illiteracy.

But after two decades of economic sanctions and war, one third of Iraqi adults now cannot read, Education Minister Khodhair al-Khozaei told Reuters.

“It is a problem that cannot be fixed by a magic wand. We need more than 4,300 new schools, existing schools are in bad condition and the population is growing,” he said.

No part of Iraq shows the severity of the crisis more than Thamir’s neighbourhood, Sadr City, a vast east Baghdad slum with an estimated 2 million people and more than 500,000 school pupils but just 260 school buildings, many barely usable.

Its neighbourhoods have been a battle-zone in the past few weeks, as security forces have fought the Mehdi Army militia of Shi’ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr. U.S. attack helicopters constantly hover overhead, hunting gunmen.

In many cases two or even three “schools” operate out of the same school in the slum, using the classrooms in shifts staggered throughout the day.

Hundreds of thousands of people moved into the rapidly expanding Shi’ite slum in the 1990s and few new schools were built for them.

“There is no balance between the continuous growth of the population and a number of schools that is almost fixed,” said Mohammed al-Moussawi, head of the education directorate for east Baghdad.

On a recent visit to the al-Khaldiya Primary School in Sadr City, raw sewage was seeping onto the ground from blocked and leaky pipes, filling classrooms with an oppressive stench.

Three separate “schools” share the same 12-classroom building — about 1,600 pupils in total — arriving in morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

“The school is crowded and in constant need of repairs,” said headmaster Ali Abid Sulaibi. “The most important thing is the plumbing. The pupils’ toilets are closed because of the bad sewage, and there is no running water.”

At the al-Fadhila secondary girls’ school nearby, 50-70 teenage girls are packed into each classroom, with three at each desk that is supposed to seat two.

“How can they understand and cooperate with the teacher inside the classroom?” said English teacher Maani al-Yassiri.
