Marsha Blackburn’s Toothless Bill HR 3608

Take an anti-nausea pill and watch the following interview of Rep Marsha Blackburn, of TN (my Congressperson) with Alex Jones (never mind him).

One might think that the great Mrs Blackburn is doing something to help us against the horrors of the TSA (and their unhinged pedophiles and rapists). She did a report that focused on 50 criminals that TSA hired (including a de-frocked Catholic priest that was a molester). She is “struggling” to get her fellow LAW MAKERS (who, btw, are the ones instrumental in CREATING the TSA) to get on board with awesome bill that simply makes the molesters change their uniforms back to a golf shirt and does NOTHING to keep their fingers out of our vaginas.

Sure, there are criminals in the TSA, like every other area of bureaucracy, but the STRIP Act doesn’t address the root of the issue, which is the entire loss of rights. Hell, if she was going to do something about law-breakers, she needn’t go any further than the floor her office in Washington is found.

The TSA folks are supposed to “assist” travelers as Customer Service Reps. Yet, the idea of their continued rape and other assaults are not as important as the fact that they are using a uniform. Why bother with banning uniforms or their ability to call themselves “officers”? If they are worthless (not having stopped any terrorism since their inception), why not simply disband the entire criminal cabal? Why not turn back the legislation that created the monster instead of more innocuous legislation that does almost nothing?

Yes, I would feel better if you were wearing a golf shirt.

* And, yes the fact that she is on AJ’s show proves that this is a diversion.

Broccoli, Oil or Saving Humanity?

Broccoli

While President Obama didn’t touch on it in his speech tonight, the U.S. is really militarily involved in Libya to protect our strategic interests in broccoli.

Specifically, Gaddafi has been threatening to nationalize Libya’s broccoli resources for years, as Reuters and the Financial Times have previously documented.

(I like Washington Blog’s take on this)

But what is the truth?

Oil

The Coalition of Globalists are not interested in sheltering the Libyan people from Muammar al- Gaddafi. The no-fly zone and attacks on the Libyan military by NATO and U.S. have nothing to do with democracy and free elections.

It’s about oil – and who owns it.

In case you are unaware Libya has the largest oil and natural gas reserves in Africa

Saving Humanity

What a laugh: Bahrain, Yemen and Saudi Arabia prove that this is a damned lie, not to mention all the other places in the world that have tyrants killing them left and right, but have nothing of perceived value to the US hegemony.

Does it matter that the “resistance fighters” are Al Qaeda

“We are examining very closely the content, composition, the personalities, who are the leaders of these opposition forces,” Admiral James Stavridis, NATO’s supreme allied commander for Europe and also commander of U.S. European Command, said during testimony at the U.S. Senate.

Gaddafi’s troops on Tuesday reversed the westward charge of rebel forces as world powers met in London more than a week after the United States and other nations launched a military campaign aimed at protecting Libyan civilians.

While Stavridis said the opposition’s leadership appeared to be “responsible men and women” fighting Gaddafi, he said that “we have seen flickers in the intelligence of potential al Qaeda, Hezbollah. We’ve seen different things.”

“But at this point I don’t have detail sufficient to say there is a significant al Qaeda presence or any other terrorist presence,” he said.

Some claim that there are over 1,000 jihadists in the “resistance”.

But hell, they will cut a deal…

West willing to strike immunity deal with Gaddafi to end conflict (willing to write off cited war crimes if he surrenders Libya to the Globalists)

Besides, the west sold Libya all the weapons we are now funding the resistance to fight against:

George Galloway interviewed on Sky News with journalist Nabila Ramdani on the Libya, Gaddafi, UN resolution, the bombing, arms, oil and gas.

RawDawg points out that we have no interest, as Americans and that what we are doing is the height of hypocrisy:

First, the US has no strategic or security interest neither in Libya nor in seeing Quaddifi removed from power. Although the premise of protecting civilians is promulgated as being of utmost importance, they do not say if rebels start to kill ruthlessly once they reach the immediate areas around Tripoli, that the US will protect pro government supports equally as vehement. This throws a wrench in what is apparently illogic US logic.

Second, the hypocrisy displayed by the current administration causes additional consternation. Looking at Yemen for example, where in theory we have a strategic interest, we are taking no action. Yemen is a country in which we have evidence that al Qaida is holding training for terrorist attacks against the US. There is also a division between the military between defectors from the monarchy and those loyal to the US confederate President Ali Abdullah Saleh. We are not involved at all yet a split in the military is likely the US worse fear seeing that it may lead to isolation for us not openly and aggressively supporting the youth revolt. They already are more anti-US than most other Arab nations and this may push them closer to Al Qaeda.

And whatever happened to the BFF’s?

He said, “Now, ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barakeh Obama.”

Gaddafi stressed that Obama’s presidency is “a major historical gain” and said, “He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning towards peace.”

Barry sets the friendship record straight here (I won’t bother putting the video up here and as DS explains:)

Propaganda Alert!

Warning: please don’t eat or drink anything while watching this video, wouldn’t want to hear of anyone choking.  Thank you.  ~ DS

But there are those that will explain the difference in truth and what emanates from Hopester’s mouth (and the fact that he lied to get elected and does totally different once the Sheople voted for him and the Empire):

Of course there is nothing new about shifting positions coming from the mouths of government officials. Take into consideration the March 7 press release by PJ Crowley:

QUESTION: P.J., before getting to a call with Juppé and the implications of that, I just wanted you to get a chance – Mark said on the conference call earlier that the – this story that appeared in the British newspaper over the weekend about the U.S. asking the Saudis to give arms to the Libyan rebels, he said that that was inaccurate and said that you might have something more to say about that.

MR. CROWLEY: I will just reiterate what he said.

QUESTION: Well, the reason I’m even asking this, first, is because at the White House, the spokesman there, when he was asked, gave the response, “I have nothing for you on that,” which, to my mind, was either the refuge of the – is the refuge of the inept or scoundrel. Is there anything to this? It’s less than a non-denial denial.

MR. CROWLEY: No, no. Well –

QUESTION: Can you put a stake through the heart of this story or –

MR. CROWLEY: Yes. Well, it’s very simple. In the UN Security Council resolution passed on Libya, there is an arms embargo that affects Libya, which means it’s a violation for any country to provide arms to anyone in Libya. So it’s not true.

QUESTION: Okay, all right.

QUESTION: And you’re not – so then you’re not going to ever consider arming the rebels?

MR. CROWLEY: Well, I can repeat if you want.

QUESTION: Yeah.

MR. CROWLEY: It would be illegal for the United States to do that.

QUESTION: So that you’re eliminating that as an option?

MR. CROWLEY: Well, it’s not a legal option.

QUESTION: Well, but the –

QUESTION: So you’re not going to do it?

QUESTION: Your counterpart at the White House said that arming the rebels – he said all options are on the table.

MR. CROWLEY: Yes.

QUESTION: And that that is one of them.

MR. CROWLEY: Okay. I haven’t seen a transcript.

Oops! Not on the same page, but Crowley knows the law (supposedly). So, who will override the man’s understanding of the law?

Sec Clinton has other ideas.

Let me finish by quoting some of Paul Craig Roberts latest piece found at Information Clearing House, where you will get a taste of the exact position I take: Obama is a lying hypocrite and I cannot understand how anyone could take him serious again:

In his war against Libya, Obama has taken America one step further into Caesarism. Obama did Bush one step better and did not even bother to get congressional authorization for his attack on Libya. Obama claimed that his moral authority trumped the US Constitution. The hypocrisy reeks. How the public stands it, I do not know:
“To brush aside America’s responsibility as a leader and–more profoundly–our responsibilities to our fellow human beings under such circumstances would have been a betrayal of who we are. Some nations may be able to turn a blind eye to atrocities in other countries. The United States of America is different. And as president, I refused to wait for the images of slaughter and mass graves before taking action.”

Doesn’t seem to make any difference to the man when it comes to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and every other place we control by killing or money or or torture threats.

They are ALL wrong!

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2010/07/exclusive-new-audio-mel-gibson-admits-hitting-oksana-threatens-kill-her-listen-it

The above is the full 8 minutes

Ya know– I hate ‘sound-bites’ and I sure am wise enough to know when I end up listening to something in pieces, that I do not nor will I ever have the entire history regarding anything that I just heard. Now– I do know the following–

1] This woman was in control of the call and dialoge

2] I do not believe he knew it was being taped

3] She said what she wanted said on the tape

4] If we taped anyone of us during a domestic tyrate it would not be pretty

5] He sounds like every Biker [sorry bikers] I ever knew

6] IF domestic violence did happen, he is wrong– flat out wrong

7] I am not a shrink, so there can be no diagnosis from me while I sit in my armcahir

8] I have used almost every word he used at one time in my life

9] I actually don’t think this tape is any of our business

10] Obviously he is out of control about something way past what we are aware of… in their life together

11]… He should never ever hit nor threated to put her [or anyone] under.

12] Can anyone one of us look back honestly in our own lives and say that we or someone we knew had never ever gotten into a heated screaming match? Would you want it recorded for all to hear out of contents??

AGAIN== Mel is wrong with his rage and violence…  I am just speaking to the ‘taping’.

The media is having a hayday with this…  Mel needs help, counceling…. something. And she needs to just do what she has to do in court, get to court and settle whatever she wants to settle– but ya know, somewhere in the nasty oh-so-wrong shit is a bid for money– and tons of it. I am not saying Mel didn’t do terrible stuff, he most likely sure as hell did– but I am just not excusing her or the media on this one either. The Radar Online folks stated that she personally did not give them the tapes. I am sure she sure as hell had a hand in it– she needed public outrage, or so she thinks. Screw this mess… I want to hear the well is capped and the clean-up is going well, and the troops are coming home [which will add to millions of more unemployed Americans because WHERE ARE OUR TROOPS GONNA WORK?? So there ya have it– this story is not a news worthy story!!! Jobs, Troops, Wars, Unemploymeny, healthcare, enviornment are true stories!!!

BP’s Special Exemption Linked To World’s Worst Human Made Disaster

I don’t think people realize how bad this thing is. How it will devastate the economy, not to mention the wildlife and way of lives of millions of people that live around the Gulf of Mexico.

Think about any trips you ever made to the Florida coast, where there were pretty much pristine, white beaches. The time spent as a child enjoying fishing, snorkeling or as an adult, whatever pleasures you so derive from the time on the ocean.

Think of a place that is so nasty, so stinking and putrid, that you cannot be there but for minutes without being sick at your stomach, or worse, contract some sort of illness that kills you. Consider that most of the shrimp and other fish you eat likely come from the Gulf and that the amount of oil belching into this ocean can quickly spread and totally infest virtually every species.

Can I ask you something that is seemingly obvious to me? Do you think your government lies to you? Would they lie about the circumstances surrounding this “spill” (this is no “spill”, this is the earth blowing diarrhea at far more amounts than they are telling us. We have an earth that has a humongous pressure point and her sphincter (man made) ain’t holding the watery shit back.

Reminds me of the first time I ever had a lower GI. There was this very pretty young nurse that prepped me for the Barium enema (mmm, mmm). As she was handling the bag and tube, she said, “I have a little balloon on the end of this that can be blown up to help hold it in as the pressure builds. Just let me know if you need it, and I’ll blow it up.”

I said, “Oh no, I have an outie and it is pretty strong so I’ll be ok.”

As she was emptying the bag into my gut, the pressure sure as hell built and quickly let me know that I needed a little balloon blown up (and FAST). I probably imagined her smirk, as I said, “You better blow that balloon up right now, unless you want to clean up a mess.”

You see, they had a fail-safe device to eliminate my shit Barium water from leaking all over the room and hospital. Think of that. The forethought involved.

Then consider that not only did this well NOT have any such fail-safe device (that most respectable, non-Corporatist, non-Congress-Owning, Drilling company does), but the Obama Administration (NOT the Bush Admin) made it possible for BP to ignore a law to ensure that a environmental impact study be conducted (Nick at BlackSunGazette lays this out very nicely and grabs the info from the World Socialist Website):

Last year the Obama administration granted oil giant BP a special exemption from a legal requirement that it produce a detailed environmental impact study on the possible effects of its Deepwater Horizon drilling operation in the Gulf of Mexico, an article Wednesday in the Washington Post reveals.

Federal documents show that the Department of the Interior’s Minerals Management Service (MMS) gave BP a “categorical exclusion” on April 6, 2009 to commence drilling with Deepwater Horizon even though it had not produced the impact study required by a law known as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The report would have included probable ecological consequences in the event of a spill.

The exemption came less than one month after BP had requested it in a March 10 “exploration plan” submitted to the MMS. The plan said that because a spill was “unlikely,” no additional “mitigation measures other than those required by regulation and BP policy will be employed to avoid, diminish or eliminate potential impacts on environmental resources.” BP also assured the MMS that any spill would not seriously hurt marine wildlife and that “due to the distance to shore (48 miles) and the response capabilities that would be implemented, no significant adverse impacts are expected.”

Kierán Suckling, director of the Center for Biological Diversity, told the Post that the Obama administration’s exemption effectively “put BP entirely in control,” adding, “The agency’s oversight role has devolved to little more than rubber-stamping British Petroleum’s self-serving drilling plans.”

In fact, BP’s self-assessment of the potential for a disaster reproduced that of federal regulators. In 2007, under the Bush administration, the MMS carried out three studies of the potential environmental impact of deep sea drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, including one that pertained specifically to the area where Deepwater Horizon was ultimately deployed, known as “Lease 206.” The MMS determined that a “deepwater spill” would not reach the coast and would not exceed 4,600 barrels.

Do you think that Mr Obama’s Money Take from BP had anything to do with this? I mean, it isn’t like he didn’t receive more cash from BP that ANY OTHER Senator.

BP and its employees have given more than $3.5 million to federal candidates over the past 20 years, with the largest chunk of their money going to Obama, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Donations come from a mix of employees and the company’s political action committees — $2.89 million flowed to campaigns from BP-related PACs and about $638,000 came from individuals.

On top of that, the oil giant has spent millions each year on lobbying — including $15.9 million last year alone — as it has tried to influence energy policy.

During his time in the Senate and while running for president, Obama received a total of $77,051 from the oil giant and is the top recipient of BP PAC and individual money over the past 20 years, according to financial disclosure records.

Nah. Probably not. Or that his Money Take from Goldman Sachs was so big that he was forced to look forward, not backward. Amazing how that shit happens when money flows.

Back to Oil. What if you knew that this oil slick is already the size of Florida? Would that make you shit a brick or turn on American Idol?

Go to Alexander Higgins blog to see a detailed analysis of what is transpiring (and worse, what could transpire).

A Doomsday scenario could be here.

I wonder how they intend to capitalize from it and, hence, you and I suffer?

Would You Know A Kenyan If You Saw One?

Michelle Obama does (at the 2 min mark):

What it reminded me of was our trip to Africa, two years ago, and the level of excitement that we felt in that country – the hope that people saw just in the sheer presence of somebody like Barack Obama – a Kenyan, a black man, a man of great statesmanship who they believe could change the fate of the world.”

How many people will call me names for suggesting Barry Sotero is not a natural born citizen? That, like his own wife, I believe when his grandmother said he was born in Kenya.

Maybe you should, too. Unless you are still enamored by all the hope and change he oozes.

“I Think We Need A ‘Minder’”

You want to become inspired by an American citizen? Whether or not you agree with Tea Partiers, Libertarians or Constitutionalists, the fact remains that it is those very people who are trying to hold our representatives accountable. “Liberals” and “conservatives” sure as hell don’t appear to give a damn about it. Sure as hell, neither of the two bogus “parties” give a damn.

Just because the reTHUGlican Party is trying desperately to hijack the Tea Party movement… just because many of the Tea Partiers are as ignorant as Frank A. LoBiondo (or worse)… just because the “Left” (aka Obama maniacs or sycophantic ass-kissers extraordinaire) is by and large ok that Obama thwarts his oath and pretends to know something about the God Damned Piece of paper while doing things that prove he knows little or cares little about the thing… we can still grasp the law as it is written. Acknowledge it. Understand it fully.

Then, after you know something that your elected official doesn’t know (even tho it is his JOB to know), hold him/her accountable. Show up and do what this man did:

Very few are this articulate, much less even know what they are talking about. But, how can we make the ones we elect honor the very document that gives us America, as we know it, when we don’t know anything about it? They spend a total of what, a week or two discussing this in school?

I want you to know, I practice what I preach (the following copy of the Bill or Rights is hanging on my wall in my office… right next to my daughter’s drawings, etc). I keep a copy of the constitution on the shelf and on my PC.

I don’t have the knowledge of the stuff like that dude does (and maybe I should). But I understand the articles listed. I understand what the “Rights” are that are represented in the Constitution, whether or not I can recall them verbatim. I assure you I know more than LoBiondo and likely the mass of reps we elect who could actually care less about the thing.

Isn’t it amazing that the ones who hold the representative accountable “need a minder”. Methinks that little asshole who said it needs a “re”minder that he is a dumbass and wholly owned and brainwashed by the reTHUG Party…

Which brings me back to Lobiondo. Go to his website and tell me if he is a reTHUG or a demoRAT. Seems pretty convenient to remove any sign of which of the complicit, corrupt parties one belongs to, isn’t it? Or that he would love to see states make the decision whether or not to “Drill, Baby, Drill”, (just not in my state).

You may ask why I care about NJ. I was born there.

Stop The US Empire: Alex Jones Has Warned Us

Think what you will of AJ (there are varying degrees of trust or mistrust from Truthers and others), but even if you hate him with all your might, how can you argue with what he says here (before the murder clip)? As far as I am concerned, he voices the exact same message that I am right now. In that, I cannot disagree.

I have watched the unedited footage of this a few times. Trying to grasp my usual “Support the troops” meme, even if you don’t support the leadership. However, this causes me to question even that thought pattern.

Don’t get me wrong, I am ex-military and I may have done the same thing. I have never been in that predicament. But, think very clearly of the “fight” these game-boy warriors were in. How in the hell can you explain what was done here, even if one believes that these military folks were endangered (and they obviously were NOT in danger at any moment of the many minutes they were on film).

Their words say it all. Their very own words are the most incriminating of the entire footage. They loved the killing. It is what these people love to do (from WAY up in the sky).

Dylan Ratigan had on several commentators to discuss this. The reason it struck me was that Glenn Greenwald was interviewed (for a few minutes) and he basically said what needs to be said: we need to question the entire reason we are there… not just blame soldiers and their leaders. There was another military analyst (once an intelligence officer in Iraq) who came out and said plain, that they were in the wrong. That what they did was not normal protocol or rules of engagement.

But, what really struck me the hardest about this interview was the extra time given to the CFR scum McGurk. He tried over and over to apologize for the killers, saying the fog of war and every other excuse he could come up with. This scum was given the lion’s share of time and the ending message.

This tells me Ratigan understands the populist outrage, but is trying to stem it (at least his handlers are). He will tap into the outrage for ratings, but will he go the whole way that AJ goes? Not likely, he wants a job.

See it here.

B’Man’s Ass Kissing Sycophant Watch: Moulitsas and Erickson Are Indistinquishable

There are sites that simply cater to the meat eaters from the two bogus faux parties. They have their place and script to follow. Yet, they are truly indistinguishable when it comes to logic (neither has any) or any semblance of critical thought.

They both play their role as pawns, leading the gullible few Sheople of red or blue stripes to the altar of the Demublican Party, where they can fight and scream and make foolish claims (with the purpose of further division and no clear “progressive” or “conservative” endgame). They work to fire up the few fools that still believe they represent the masses.

Go to either site (Daily Kos or Redstate) and you can see that there is no real debate or dialogue… just that particular meme being spread and accepted by what I can only deem as total and complete imbeciles (if they believe it). This is about 30 – 40 % of America that believes these two lies. This means that 30-40% of America are ignorant fools who couldn’t think their way out of a wet toilet paper bag.

Eric tells us that the torture-loving, Lesbo without a cause, Liz Cheney, is right. That her shtick about the Al-Qaeda 7 is correct and the attacks against her are wrong. He tells us that it is the “left” that dare represent “terrorists” and that the goodly right never would (isn’t it convenient to forget John Adams defending the British soldiers charged in the Boston Massacre). There are a multitude of examples of how it once was honorable to represent anyone in the system. It is what they swear an oath to do. But that doesn’t matter to a political sycophant set only on dividing and obfuscating the reality of the Constitution and the way things actually work.

None of that matters when you have a political objective that has nothing, whatsoever, to do with honoring the law and Constitution of the United States of America.

Since we know that the false right paradigm is as bogus as Yoo’s writings and Karl Rove’s dancing, let us think about the “other side” of the one-sided coin: Markos Moulitsas Zuniga. In my estimation, he is even more dangerous. I figured out long ago that his site is nothing more than a front for the Dem Party. Although labeled a “Progressive”, he is hardly that (he was once a precinct captain for the Republican Party and from his idiotic, ass-kissing perspective, one would be a fool to consider him a “progressive”. He is regressive. His site and Crooks and Liars are two peas in the same corruptly rotten pod.

But, with the help of the media (MSNBC, etc) and the Whitehouse, Kos has come into the spotlight (even for his 15 minutes, see below). He has been knighted as the online king of progressives, yet, knows virtually nothing about progressive causes. He has established a huge following of Sheople that would suck on his little weenie, if he weren’t too embarrassed to pull it out.

So, when the only real “Progressive” in Congress stands up to the status quo of enriching and awarding health insurance companies, Markos says this of him, ““I’m going to hold people like Dennis Kucinich responsible for the 40,000 Americans that die each year from a lack of health care.”

You see, it has nothing to do with the insurance scam that causes all these people die. It is Dennis’ fault because he has something burning inside of him that is devoid in Zuniga…. Integrity and honor. And this doesn’t even touch the area of Moulitsas’ lacking mental capacity.

He said on Countdown, ““God knows it’s taken us a long time to even get our toe in the door. … If somebody like Kucinich wants to block that, I find that completely reprehensible.”

But I ask you, what is more reprehensible: never lifting a finger to push the powers that control him and make his blog so powerful to enact the most progressive solution to healthcare, the Single payer system Kucinich penned or just kowtowing to the Dem Party that is giving away even MORE to the health insurance industries? Who do you think is considering the people of this country more, Dennis (a multi-termed elected official and multiple POTUS candidate) or Markos (a paid shill with CIA ties)? You can go here to hear him talk about it or here or here to read about it.

The fool then said that Dennis’ approach wasa very Ralph Nader-esque approach to politics”. (As if that is a bad thing)

You see, it is apparent. Kos only cares about fulfilling the paradigm’s goal of division and complete ravaging of America. And there are throngs of gullible foolish idiots falling all over themselves to be recognized by this puny little piece of shit… the kind that hangs in the bowl and needs multiple flushings just to get rid of it. And even after it is gone, the stink will stay forever.

But he doesn’t stop with criticizing the politics of Kucinch. He is making claims to bolster the divide (which aren’t true):

What he is doing is undermining this reform.” “He is making common cause with Republicans. And I think that is a perfect excuse and a rational one for a primary challenge.”

He then goes personal:

He used his 2004 run for president to score dates. Luckily, he’s married this time around so we’ll be spared that pathetic display of desperation.”

LOL (I can do that, too): coming from a fag-looking little cretin like Kos, that is hilarious. (I’m sorry, I don’t know if he’d suck a dick, but I am confident he’d hold it in his mouth for a while).

Besides, I addressed the FLILF question long ago here. I must admit that I have never seen the man Markos is married to, but shim is likely lacking in comparison. Certainly in thinking ability, to have accepted “puny penis’s” offer in matrimony.

OK, enough little pecker and ugly wife jokes (but I can give as well as he can, just to prove the point and NO, I am not anti-gay anything).

I want to refocus on the CIA connection that NO ONE except Kurt Nimmo at Prison Planet and some folks at My Left Wing have addressed (and got some of them banned, telling me that MLW has about as little integrity as Kos, but today was the first time I ever read there). Simply do a search for “markos cia” and you will find all sorts of discussions around this subject (back around the summer of 2007).

Just go here and click the Real Audio link. The interviewer and Kos get into the CIA topic at the 12 min mark and at 12:50, Kos admits that he had a secret. But this secret isn’t the kind that everyday rednecks like you and I are privy to. No, Markos Moulitsas, actually spent over 6 months with the CIA. He then goes on for many minutes defending the “liberal” CIA and explains that all they want is a “stable world“.

It was said in such a inconsequential way, as to infer that signing up to work for the CIA is an everyday experience just like filling out a McDonald’s job application. Then spent 6 months in the process (just like a McDonald’s job, eh?)

Oh, PLEASE! I know the man is a blithering fruitcake, but I cannot fathom that people would actually believe this shit. But believe, they do. At least temporarily. But, even Kos’s old booty buddy, HuffPo, is beginning to question that fool’s “progressiveness”:

But let’s look very closely at the shift-changing  policies of Kos. Funny how a cursory search on that bogus propaganda bulletin board shows that just in Dec of last year, Markos was agreeing with Kucinich (obviously before his handlers chewed his ass out and made him change the meme). He wrote a post called, “Remove Mandate, or kill This Bill“.

But, the idiotic thing about Kos’ threat to “primary Dennis” is laughable, since the date has passed for someone to challenge Dennis in his district (where he is loved). In other words, Markos is flexing puny little muscles that can’t lift anything more than the anger of the sycophantic fools that follow him.

Ian Welsh at HuffPo explains this better than I can:

Kos is threatening Dennis Kucinich, of all people, with a primary if he doesn’t vote for health care “reform.”

Let me get this straight, Kos wants to primary one of the most reliable and principled progressives in Congress (perhaps the most principled one) because Kucinich doesn’t want to vote for a bill which will force Americans to buy crappy health insurance from private companies?

First they came for Massa, and now, not being able to find any dirt on Kucinich, they’re putting the pressure on, and Kos is going along with it?

Because, lord knows, what progressives should spend their time and money on this year is primarying someone like Kucinich. What they should do is start a left wing fucking civil war so that Obama, Hoyer and Rahm Emanuel can sit back and laugh as the left wing tears itself apart over a bill which, whether you want it passed or not, no one who is on the left wing should think is better than mediocre.

Be very clear, if “progressives” like Kos want to primary Kucinich, many other progressives will defend him and fight for him. So, instead of picking up new seats, we’ll be wasting time and money fighting over a seat already held by a progressive.

Those who want to go after Kucinich are acting as Obama and Rahm’s heavies. Acting as enforcers for a President who believes in indefinite detention without trial, who has expanded the war in Afghanistan, gutted civil rights and who wants to force every American to buy health insurance from private companies.

It’s time for Kos’s 15 minutes to end. The man’s stupidity, hubris and willingness to be used by a president who is objectively a conservative means he is now doing more damage to the left than good.

Ian, where you miss the point is that Kos has NEVER been anything but a Corporate owned, CIA controlled asshole that has convinced the Dumbass Democratic party Sheople that he is one of them. It is nothing more than the false paradigm in play. Time for the Sheople to become People and tell him to STFU. And every follower that begs to suck his wee little penis, too.

It is time we identify the Cass Sunstein-esque cabal, name them and put them where they belong, in the annals of insignificance. Then, let us vote out each and every asshole who counters Kucinich’s plan for Single Payer healthcare. And reward those that agree.

Coffee or Tea?

Its just the illusion of differences. It is the sleight of hand that makes you all stupid, gullible little Sheople.

“Coffee Party” Founder Is Obama Campaign Operative

Steve Watson
Prisonplanet.com
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Billed as an alternative grassroots movement to the Tea Party, which has been for the most part absorbed by mainline Republicans and Neoconservatives, the “Coffee Party” promised to wake up politically minded Americans and offered a different avenue for the freedom movement.

However, the so called founder of the Coffee Party has been quickly exposed as an Obama campaign operative, whose caffeine concept was purely designed to undermine and co-opt the Tea Party ideology.

Described as “a documentary filmmaker who lives outside Washington”, Annabel Park has amassed some 40,000 members via a Facebook page.

“We’re not the opposite of the Tea Party,” Ms. Park, 41, told the New York Times. “We’re a different model of civic participation, but in the end we may want some of the same things.”

No, not really. What you are is just another Obamaniac who has been tasked with subterfuge and to perpetuate the BS paradigm of division to keep the bogus Kleptocracy alive and well. Some of us are aware. I just wish more were.

Prepare For The Bank Runs

Citigroup Warns Customers It May Refuse To Allow Withdrawals

John Carney

The image of banks locking their doors to keep customers from making withdrawals during a bank run is what immediately came to mind when we heard that Citigroup was telling customers it has the right to prevent any withdrawals from checking accounts for seven days.

“Effective April 1, 2010, we reserve the right to require (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking accounts. While we do not currently exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past, we are required by law to notify you of this change,” Citigroup said on statements received by customers all over the country.

The article explains that there was a mistake made (they were only supposed to send this to Texans). But, no matter who it was intended for, does anyone look at this as a good sign?

Think about this for a second (especially you poor rednecks like me): you take your Friday’s paycheck to the bank and deposit it. Then, next week, you figure out that you re a bit short of cash for your kid’s lunch money, because you had to pay that plumber who came in and fixed the bad belt on your 10 year old clothes dryer and tapped you dry of cash. What do you do?

The conspiracy nut in me says, they want you to use their debit card so they can track your money. For the fact of the matter is that most poor rednecks like myself cannot wait SEVEN days to get our own cash from a bank who now refuses to give us what is OURS.

Think about this. It is YOUR money, but they limit you access to YOUR money.

I would say that all those liberal sites you hate with such a passion may be on to something when they tell you to pull your money from the Big Banks (I know I have). I can assure every living person in this world that I will NEVER do business with CitiBank again. This goes for each and every entity that has been bailed out, as well. What few dollars I do have in a bank are in a local bank. What very few dollars I have i savings (less than $200) is in a Credit Union.

The days of this redneck making these Elitists even richer are over (except for the tax money they were shoveled by our corrupt and thieving congress officials). They can kiss my redneck ass.

I have my own cash reserves ready. I have some silver coinage, just in case the fall comes faster than I think. I have enough food to make it months without access to my cash. I am growing even more this year. I am prepping for the worst and will be fine if it doesn’t happen. None of this costs me much more than I normally spend. Prep in chunks (add a few extra cans of food or beans and rice every time you go to the store).

Be ready, for this tells me that something is brewing and you better get your shit together if you want to make it through the end of 2010.

You have been warned.

The US Constitution: Taught, Believe and Obey

Our illustrious President told us this:

Remember that? Remember how he quickly answered that woman’s question? Remember how Mr Obama readily tells anyone ANYTHING, then when the nut-cuttin’ comes, he shows himself to be the most reprehensible liar on the face of the planet (and I am not exaggerating). I believe Barack Hussein Obama to be one of the preeminent liars living on the face of the earth. He lies more than Osama Bin Laden and any devil you can name. It is clearly evident. We have a lying, maniacal monster running our country.

From PrisonPlanet:

Over the course of his two terms in office, Bush had a total of 289 Executive Orders. After a little over a year in office, Obama has already passed 39 Executive Orders, meaning he is on course to be in the 300’s presuming he is re-elected in 2012.

American Facism’s Power Grab

I talk about the power grab going on in the world, especially related to the world’s resources and our stealing them with armed might.

But, old redneck friends, it is a reality now that the power grab is internal. I haven’t said much about this Cass Sunstein guy, but every article I read proves that this man, a supposed favorite pick of Mr Obama’s for the Supreme Court, is a potential fascist shill who will help bring about many losses of rights, especially the right to bear arms.

He is all too clear about what he thinks and said about 3 years ago to expect the loss of that right (even suggesting that the Constitution does NOT give us this right):

If you think that Mr Obama and the current administration has your best interests in mind, you are a fool. If you think that any of these maniacs care about the Constitution or the rights we have as Americans, just put that gun to your mouth while you still have the opportunity.

The Year Of The Fall

Hey, my fellow rednecks. Its your old crazy-assed BuelahMan back, trying to express in the best way an old redneck can, what I see coming down the stretch this year. If you read with any regularity, I have recently become a “Prepper“… some call a “Survivalist”. Whatever. I think of myself as getting ready (preparing) for some very hard times.

Borrowed from Black Sun Gazette

But don’t think that I am hording years worth of food or have assault weapons and the like. I have a freezer full of food I grew last year. I have a decent stockpile of canned goods (along with rice). I have hunting rifles (small caliber for small game and a larger caliber for deer). I own a shotgun for bird and small game and a pistol for home protection. I do NOT own thousands of bullets or any crazy arsenal except what a man needs to feed his family and to shoo away those who think they might take my shit (a quick shot over someone’s head is probably enough to send them packing to someone else’s garden).

Do you think I’m crazy: that things could NEVER get this bad for America? That we, as a nation, haven’t taken a huge step backwards in “progress” (which is not progress, at all, but “regression”). My buddy Nick P at Black Sun Gazzette has a very good post up about this issue. Many others that I speak with in the Blogosphere also are discussing the possibilities of what “The Fall” might entail and look like to you. Ed at NotAnotherConspiracy followed up on a previous “Am I insane” post I made by suggesting several issues that are important in survival. But it is those people that live close to and know and personally… the ones who seem oblivious, until you ask them how they buy food if they are out of work, long since exhausted their unemployment benefits and realize that about 1/3 around here are already hurting more than they ever knew before.

First, let’s look at some background information that causes me to think we are so close to devastation. We have just finished a year of Props. The government has been propping up the stock market. It has been propping up the housing market. It is obviously propping up the “too big to fail” banks with your and my money. They are propping up American automotive and many other industries, as well. Few will discuss any of this, but every now and again, someone lets something slip out:

Stock Market Being Propped Up By Government (Says people on the floor of the stock market)

h/t BrassCheckTV

Key Points:

This market continues to be propped up by government intervention and manipulation.”

They’re trying to prop this market up on a daily basis and they’re doing a good job.”

Every single day we have some kind of backstop from the government.”

These markets are not free markets any more.”

We’re at a point where no capital transactions are getting done without some intervention from Washington and I wonder how we ever get off these vitamin pills.”

It’s not really healing if you’re just passing liabilities from private debt to the public debt – from one balance sheet to the other.”

Oops. Did the MSM know the mics were on? Candor from frustration and greed, but candor, nonetheless. And speaking of the Commercial Real Estate Debacle coming:

2nd Wave of Mortgage Defaults

h/t BrassCheckTV

I was visiting with one of my friends in my “network” (people who are dedicated to assisting each other when the SHTF) the other day and he told me a little story. He said that another friend of his is a Deputy Sherrif in our county. This law enforcement man has been doing this work for a pretty good while and as he and my buddy were talking, he explained that the sherrif’s department (and himself, personally) is hesitant to enter my town because it is armed to the teeth and scary as hell.

Personally, I don’t feel this vibe, but I am so in to my own stuff, that maybe I am just missing it.

I asked my buddy what this cop thought about the survivalist mentality and how he felt about the current situation. He told me that this cop and many more think just like I do. Concerned about what is coming and the fact that people will not be ready for it. I don’t know about you, but this is not very reaffirming.

I mean, is it really possible that anarchy could reign in this great country? More importantly than possibilities, is it “probable” that this will occur? I give it more than a 10% chance, but I may be crazy. How about others whom are more in-the-know (courtesy of George Washington’s Blog)?

Barton Biggs: 1 in 10 Chance of Anarchy in the U.S.

Today, Paul Farrell quoted Barton Biggs as predicting the breakdown of civilization and anarchy:

In his 2008 bestseller “Wealth, War and Wisdom” former Morgan Stanley research guru Barton Biggs warns us to prepare for a “breakdown of civilization … Your safe haven must be self-sufficient and capable of growing some kind of food … It should be well-stocked with seed, fertilizer, canned food, wine, medicine, clothes, etc … A few rounds over the approaching brigands’ heads would probably be a compelling persuader that there are easier farms to pillage.” Biggs sounds like an anarchist militiaman.

I haven’t read Wealth, War and Wisdom, and I wanted to find out what Biggs is actually forecasting for the U.S.

I found a recent (December 15th) interview in which Biggs gives specifics:

Is what’s happening now in Dubai and Greece, for example, a canary in the coal mine? In Greece, there is real chaos and anarchy, with mobs on the street. If Dubai goes down the drain, there’s going to be serious trouble, because they have a million or so imported workers from third-world countries. They are working their butts off, and they have been cheated for years, in terms of what they are paid and their food allowances. There are going to be real problems there.

You can make the case that it is not inconceivable that the barbarians could be at the gate in Europe, Japan and the US. It’s one chance in ten that’s going to happen but, as a person with wealth, you must ask what type of insurance to take out against that …

It sounds simplistic, but there’s nothing the matter with having some kind of self-sufficient farm that is not close to the big cities. It sounds almost stupid, but it sure paid off in occupied Europe during World War II. I don’t think periods of anarchy are going to last a long time in countries like the US. But could we have four or five months of anarchy? I think there’s one chance in ten that could happen.

Note that you probably haven’t even heard about the riots in Greece, have you? You may have heard a bit about Dubai and then the memory hole swallowed the news, but even with their huge fireworks display and the meme that “all-is-well”, we find the rhetoric is about as accurate as the number of weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq. Countries are falling apart and we, America, is the catalyst.

We are beginning to see it in unemployment numbers (which are highly bogus because they take you off the rolls after your benefits are depleted and then don’t count you as unemployed):

Severe unemployment worsens in cities

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The number of U.S. metropolitan areas with jobless rates above 15% increased in November, according to government figures released Tuesday, despite the biggest one-month drop in the national rate in more than three years.
The Labor Department said 17 of 372 metropolitan areas surveyed suffered unemployment rates of at least 15% last month, up from 15 metro areas in October.

And look how close we got to outright default in Dec (missing it by just three days):

US Avoids Technical Default By Three Days

Tyler Durden
Zero Hedge
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

On December 24, the Senate passed a vote by a razor thin margin (with not a vote to spare) to raise the Federal debt ceiling from $12,104 billion to $12,394 billion. The actual debt ceiling increase took effect on December 28. And as the chart below shows, the Treasury’s cash flow projections were spot on: 3 days later, and the debt subject to limit surged to $12,254, a jump of over $200 billion in 2 days, and a whopping $150 billion over the old debt ceiling.

Three days is all the buffer the administration’s reckless spending spree has afforded this country to avoid bankruptcy. Had one more Democratic vote dissented from the stopgap measure, the US would now be in technical default.

I mentioned here that food production is way off according to news reports, but funny how the government has a totally different view of how much food we produced as opposed to the people actually growing the stuff have to say. But, there are other factors which can either impede or quicken “The Fall” and if the Perfect Storm theory I have is true, it will be related to food, the financial crisis, a likely terrorist attack on this nation and the manipulation/skyrocketing costs of fuel. There will come a breaking point sometime, for as my accountant told me yesterday (admitting he cannot fully understand how the nations’ economy seems to be even moving at all after what has occurred), we cannot keep spending and printing money like we are. Especially if that money is by huge measures being doled out to banks and entities that will NOT help normal everyday Americans. Could THIS be the straw that breaks the American Camel’s back?

Oil Prices Will End the Futility Economy

Jan 5th, 2010 | By James Howard Kunstler

On the first business day of the new year and oil traded above $80 a barrel, which means the price has re-entered the danger zone where it can crush industrial economies. This is a central element of the predicament we find ourselves in. The US economy is essentially a Happy Motoring economy. During the whole nervous period since the collapse of Lehman Brothers, American gasoline consumption hardly went down at all, though so many other activities collapsed, from house-building to trucking. Yesterday, The Seattle Times published a story with the idiotic headline: Oil Touches $80 on US Economy, Demand Optimism. Apparently, they think high oil prices are “a good sign.”

How much can a nation not get it? Would $100 oil ignite a new orgy of “consumer” spending and another round of investment in commercial real estate? Welcome to the Futility Economy. This is the economy where Nature and its material companion, Reality, punish us for our stupidity and fecklessness. This is the economy that will tear the United States apart, after it bankrupts us at every level, and mercilessly drives the population down by one-third through starvation, homelessness, violence, disease, and sheer political cruelty.

Whatever you thought our economy was the past thirty years — whatever model of it you have in your head — that is definitely not what we are going back to. Like one of Dickens’s Yuletide ghosts, Reality is leading us by the hand into new circumstances. We resist like crazy. We throw our hands over our eyes. We don’t want to look. We want to return to the comfort of our dreary routines — living in places that aren’t worth caring about, weaving endlessly in freeway traffic, drawing a paycheck at the air-conditioned cubicle, inhaling Buffalo wings by the platterful, with periodic side-trips to the state-chartered casino where there’s always a chance of scoring a lifetime’s income on one lucky bet. And at the end of the day, you can retire with a simulated prostitute on your laptop screen! And not even have to fork over a dime — except perhaps for the Internet connection fee.

Reality is taking us out of that familiar, if sordid, realm, whether we like it or not. Our destination is an everyday economy where you rarely travel far from the place you live, where you have to make provision for you own health, your own old age, your own income, your own diet, your own security, and your own education. If you’re really fortunate, some or all of these necessities can be obtained in conjunction with your neighbors in the place where you live — but don’t expect an increasingly mythical federal government to supply any of it. Expect a new and different way of organizing households based on extended families and kinship groups. Be prepared for agriculture to return to the foreground of everyday life, where farming is back at the center of the economy. Think about how you will cultivate your best role in a social network so the things you do will be truly valued by the other people who know you. Learn how to make your own music and write your own scripts. Try to study history. Resist cults. Keep your mind clear and your senses sharp.

h/t Whiskey and Gunpowder

Each and every bit of advice is excellent, but I want to add my 2 cents worth

Save Every Penny you possibly can. Stop spending money on frivolous stuff. Do not buy real estate, UNLESS it is a farm you intend to work. Take your money out of the Big Banks and use local banks or Credit Unions. Keep cash on hand, for if they shut down the banks (and they will when the SHTF), you will need operating moolah. Better yet, if you can afford it, have silver or some gold coins put back. Learn to grow your own food (even very small plots can yield good amounts of food: I proved this to myself last year… my first garden ever). Learn to fish and hunt. Have 3 to 6 months of food available. And one of the very most important points: secure energy. If that means a generator, a solar backup, something/anything to help if electricity is gone for some reason and extended periods of time.

The two most basic things will be Food and Energy. Protection, guns, networks, all of that is WORTHLESS without food and energy.

More Than 1 in 6 Tennesseans on Food Stamps

I was part of a brief conversation with a racist redneck woman yesterday where I commented about her snide innuendo about food stamps and buying steaks, beer and whatever for “her baby daddy”. I hope that this stupidity, this clownish, hateful behavior, is still among the old assholes and the young ones are realizing how insane it is to fall for their wedges.

What these stupid-assed old rednecks fail to understand is that Food Stamps and food assistance programs are over burdened and are giving out record amounts. For this to happen, it can’t SIMPLY be a bunch of “no-good black folks” who are using this resource. No, these stupid people believe that there are no white folks on Food stamps and that only a worthless sponge would ever use such a thing.

I have news for you, folks. This shit is going to get worse before better. You better grab whatever food you can from whatever source you have. You will need it.

More than 1 in 6 Tennesseans on food stamps

// NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More and more Tennesseans are turning to food stamps to make ends meet.

Nearly 1,186,000 Tennesseans, or more than one in six residents, currently receive some kind of food stamp assistance and the number continues to climb.

I believe he’s a man of peace…

… said the ever-astute Michael Moore on Larry King Live according to an article at Raw Story (h/t PrisonPlanet).

“I hate to be even saying these things,” Moore told King in conclusion, “because I honestly think Barack Obama is a good and decent man. He has a good heart. I believe he’s a man of peace. … I don’t think there’s any evil or dark place in his heart that’s where this is coming from. I just think that he’s listened to the generals. He’s taken bad advice.”

And as the capitalist film maker cried and pleaded with Barack Obama to not send even more troops to the money pit called Afghanistan, he was quick to add, “I feel very bad for him.”

Michael Moore,

Decent men of peace with good hearts would not bomb innocent people with drones. Would not cover up for the war crimes of his predecessor. Would not first condemn, then proceed with indefinite detention. Would not continue tribunals to avoid the justice of due process. Would not allow the corporate ravaging of our tax money. Would not protect telecom companies from their illegal activities. Would not lie about lobbyists in his administration. If there isn’t a dark place in his cold heart, then he is a damned stupid man.

Did you ever actually believe that this man was going to do anything other than what he always said he would do? Fight the good war?

I don’t believe you. I believe you have an ulterior motive. I believe you are doing a wide stance ‘cover thy ass’ for your asinine insistence that America vote for this Corporatist war mongering maniac and for your wimping out on your fight against two party politics. You pussed out, man. Sane people know this.

There are plenty of us sane ones who are aware of your flip-flop and how much influence you had in this election.

You should be ashamed for your lack of principle and should admit your mistake, make amends by stopping this defense of this man and turn back to fighting AGAINST the two party, corporatist sham. This little interview does little to make up for your horrendous errors. Tears or not.
