The Ass-assination Museum

One of my first memories is of my Mother and Father discussing the assassination and watching them both cry. It was many years before I understood why they were upset, but it stuck with me. It apparently caused my mom extreme distress for she was 8.5 months pregnant with my little sister and when they found out she went into labor. She was born on the 23rd after many hours of hard labor that almost killed my mother, but I remember the assassination more than I do her birth.

No matter who you think did it, the world changed that day and virtually none of it was for the good.

  1. I’ve been to the Texas School Book Depository Museum. It’s a rip. It has NO artifacts. The whole thing is glossy pictures. The “snipper’s nest” is walled in with plexiglass, so you can’t look for yourself what an impossible shot it would have been. I went through the whole thing then demanded my $18 bucks back. I got it back, too.

Milchan continued, “If people knew how many times I risked my life, back and forth, again and again, for my shitty little country. And suddenly, [I have to] defend myself – ‘I’m not an arms dealer, I don’t sell guns, I don’t sell rockets ‘
I should have been aware of that, of what I’ll go through, and said, ‘Fuck you.’ You know what, I did it for my shitty little country and I’m proud of it because I am a psychopathic Jewish asshole.”

The show also features interviews with Robert De Niro, Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck and other major Hollywood players.

Meanwhile, New Regency films, Milchan’s company, is working on four films slated for release in 2013-14, including “Noah,” a Darren Aronofsky-directed take on the Biblical flood story starring Crowe, Emma Watson and Anthony Hopkins. . . .

the twist of irony for the worshippers of the leaven of the Pharisee, would at this point allow me
the option of noticing the song Morningside by ND, with the prelude in E major…

It’s gotten so bad that, as my friend nears retirement, he says he is very seriously considering moving

in the next handful of years due to the absolutely irrefutable destruction, the shocking —

It is just that bad….….cue mad max.

Now, you may think he’s merely a curmudgeon, a tired old teacher who stopped caring long ago. Not true. Teaching is his life. He says he loves his students, loves education and learning and watching young minds awaken. Problem is, he is seeing much less of it. It’s a bit like the melting of the polar ice caps.

Sure, there’s been alarmist data about it for years, but until you see it for yourself, the deep visceral dread doesn’t really hit home.

    …failure to communicate…?

    I Don’t think so
