What Is The Hidden Agenda Behind The Gay Marriage Laws?

The White House turned into a rainbow as the Supreme Court declared same-sex marriage legal nationwide, bypassing state sovereignty. While the country is wooed with rainbow magic, have they now forgiven the government of their many trespasses? How concerned are they about human rights, while removing the Confederate flag in the south? Tearing down one symbol and lifting up another is not about tolerance and love, it’s about hate. It’s not about equality, it’s about revenge. This is a campaign of hate, cloaked in rainbows.

  1. This comment is probably more appropriate for your essay, “What Does the Stars and Bars Represent,” but it is also relevant here. In almost all cases in which I have seen the flag flaunted by my fellow Southerners, it has represented nothing more or less than an expression of pride in one’s “Southernness.” And what that Southernness best represents has nowhere been better expressed than by Richard M. Weaver in his great work, “The Southern Tradition at Bay.” That magnum opus is well summarized here: http://www.knowsouthernhistory.net/Articles/People/richard_weaver.html
That Southern tradition still has a great deal to offer the world, and that is what the lying, treacherous brutes who currently rule us are trying to take from us once and for all. Fie on them all, I say.

    • For those without the time or the attention span to read the Joe Scotchie essay on Richard M. Weaver to which I have linked above, here’s a good summing up quote:

“[Weaver] managed to capture the essence of Southern civilization in one short, illuminating definition: the South was the ‘last non-materialistic civilization it the Western world.’ It was a society where the questions, Where are you from? and Where are you heading? were more important than, What are you worth? Or as Calvin Brown put it, Southerners knew a man might have two million dollars and not be worth two cents.
“In short, Weaver saw four distinguishing characteristics of the Old South: The code of chivalry, the education of the gentleman, the feudal system, and the older religiousness.”

  3. I’m not convinced the agenda is about hate and revenge. Maybe on the surface. The hidden part seems to me to be about crushing cultural diversity and individualism. Too much trouble for the jailers.

In the name of multiculturalism, diversity and tolerance, people are brainwashed into believing we are all the same. We are not. But it looks like many are falling for this obvious contradiction without thinking about it. The FB experiment with the ‘rainbow filter’ on their profile had 26 Million followers. Ouch.

By trying to kill all adverse opinions ‘they’ attempt to concoct a mushy soup of all of us ready to be slurped up or poured down the drain, whatever their long term plan is.

Weaver has it right, somewhat paraphrased: “Man’s life is a grand struggle where his soul is at stake.” But, that is an individual undertaking which can not be substituted by rainbow coloured wishful thinking.
