Independence Day: The Mockery Never Ends

The mockery degrades the sacrifice

Several years ago I wrote the following comment in a post Lynda published, about the mockery of the government goons towards the people who were gullible enough to “serve” the various war efforts that were basically lies (I joined the Navy for the same gullible reasons, so I am pointing the finger at myself, as well). To me, those words are still poignant and worthy of re-posting:

When did fighting for freedom become what we have today? Today’s cowards that lead our government know nothing about this entire subject. The days of fighting for freedom are over. Altho the emotions are strong, the fact is that we have forced our young men and women into battles that have nothing, whatsoever, to do with our freedoms. It was true for Korea, for Vietnam, for the Gulf war and every other idiotic foray into evil and murder that we could possibly force them in to.

When we celebrate those now who “fight for freedom”, just how much are we supporting evil and murderous carnage that will never make us a bit freer in any sense of the word? Why are we celebrating them now?

We need to STOP using emotion to sway hearts into supporting these evil ideas to take over the world via our Empire, especially when having the gall to reach back and exploit the generation that might have an argument about saving freedoms (and even that is debatable).

In other words, why do we dredge up the only conceivable “freedom fighters” we have from our past to use to support the evil that is now the American Empire? Maybe 1776, but there ain’t any of those guys left any more.

(And dang it, I am not dissing a single soul who has served for whatever reason they served… this is about stopping the lies and deceit and celebrating REAL freedom, which has been eroded by the same people who now lead our men and women into false battles of lies and deceit)

It Is Not About Freedom

“In every age it has been the tyrant, the oppressor and the exploiter who has wrapped himself in the cloak of patriotism, or religion, or both to deceive and overawe the People.”

(Canton, OH, Anti-War Speech, June 16, 1918)”
Eugene V. Debs, Voices of a People’s History of the United States

The “freedoms” that have been “fought for” are slipping away with every day that has passed since 911. People are slowly coming to the realization, but there are obviously still many who believe the lies (just look at the flag waving sycophants today). Now, with the gays laying down their lives (ahem) to get gay marriage shoved down our collective throats, they mock the real heroes in the most despicable ways.

Sickening.

These people belittle those who have fought, even when their reasons for fighting were based upon lies and financial need (no jobs).

People may not like what I’m about to say, but…

Don’t wave a flag for me. Don’t tell me, “Thank you for your service.” I was stupid for believing the lies 30 years ago, which are the 911DeafTribute4_t500same lies told young people today. And frankly, at this point in history, after the obviousness of their deceit, I find it impossible to celebrate people who are too brainwashed to see they are being used for canon fodder, especially since it is obvious they are doing so for Empire purposes. There is not a single “war” or skirmish that we have been in for over 100 years that isn’t part and parcel of the Military Industrial Complex’s thirst for control and Empire. This includes the “Good Wars” (WWI and WWII).

Especially since 911, which was a false flag lie carried out by the Mossad and complicit American sycophants and was used to strip us of liberties and to expand Eretz Israel (among much other dubious rationale), people sign up for service that is nothing but a bunch of lies. Just like in the 80’s when I stupidly signed up. Like me back then, anyone who signs up for the military is a dupe and fool. You aren’t “fighting for our freedoms”, you are fighting for rich people and to expand Israel’s control in the world.

Don’t wish me a Happy Independence Day. I don’t want you to have a “Happy Fourth of July”, either. I want you to stand up and shout that we want all of the illegal wars of aggression on Israel’s behalf to end. Stop supporting it. Stop sending our brave men and women who are duped into believing the lies to their deaths.

“When one with honeyed words but evil mind persuades the mob, great woes befall the state.”
Euripides, Orestes

If you want to be heroic, stand up for righteousness, which has absolutely nothing to do with hero worship under false pretenses. Hold these despicable bastards accountable for sending our best jobs away, intentionally forcing many poor people to join the armed services. Hold the MIC answerable for the theft of life and liberty caused, pursuing profit. Take your representatives to task for their acquiescence to Jewish interests/control and falling for the neocon lies that have brought us to this point.

But more importantly than all, make yourself responsible for sending your children away for these lies and…

STOP IT.

  1. Great video by the Marine that you’ve posted here! The sad thing about that Battle of Iwo Jima is that all the carnage was unnecessary from either a military or political standpoint, as was similar carnage at Okinawa and Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Japanese were doing their best to surrender on terms we finally accepted after those bloody island invasions and the dropping of the two A-bombs. See what the chief of Naval Intelligence at the time, Admiral Ellis Zacharias has to say about the matter at http://ussslcca25.com/zach12.htm. See also http://www.dcdave.com/article5/110530.htm. The Red-infested Roosevelt government kept the Pacific War going until the Soviet Union could get into it and pick up most of the spoils.

  2. Jimi Hendrix – The Star Spangled Banner [ American Anthem ] ( Live at Woodstock 1969 )

Some of the acts that played Woodstock went on Dick Cavett’s television show afterward. One of them was Hendrix, who was a guest shortly after the festival and then again much later. When Cavett, who has collected his interviews on his “Rock Icons” DVD, asked him about the controversy surrounding his anthem, Hendrix replied:

“I don’t know, man. All I did was play it. I’m American, so I played it. I used to sing it in school. They made me sing it in school, so it was a flashback.” Cavett interrupted the interview to point out to the audience, “This man was in the 101st Airborne, so when you send your nasty letters in …” Cavett then explained to Hendrix that whenever someone plays an “unorthodox” version of the anthem, “You immediately get a guaranteed percentage of hate mail.”

Hendrix then respectfully disagreed with Cavett’s description. “I didn’t think it was unorthodox,” he said. “I thought it was beautiful.”

  3. As usual you’re right on the money. Another thing that most people don’t know that the B&W picture was a restaging of raising the flag at Iwo Jima. And it was a Jew who staged the fraud, http://photography.about.com/od/famousphotographers/qt/flagraisingoveriwojimacontroversy.htm?utm_term=iwo%20jima%20picture&utm_content=p1-main-1-title&utm_medium=sem&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=adid-37a71b6c-137d-4007-8ab4-3caddb2c239d-0-ab_gsb_ocode-22811&ad=semD&an=google_s&am=broad&q=iwo%20jima%20picture&dqi=&o=22811&l=sem&qsrc=999&askid=37a71b6c-137d-4007-8ab4-3caddb2c239d-0-ab_gsb.

Here’s a video from Kingdom Come that says a lot about our rotten world and the lies and deceit that continue.

I my not post anymore but I still keep a watchful eye.

    Thanks, B’Man.

      • I am on the mend but I’ve had another horrible personal tragedy in my life that’s robbed me of my will to keep going. It’s like I care about nothing. Right now I’m working on completely changing my life and I intend to leave Tennessee hopefully within a year if I can find work. I’m moving to the midwest to find a better life for the years I have left. Right now I’m just trying to keep the depression under control and try to move forward. Good to hear from you and hope you and family are well and prospering.

          • I’ll email you and let you know what happened, probably tomorrow. Enjoy the day with your family, it’s still a holiday after all even though it’s a total fraud.

And to think my dear father gave 22 years of his life to this lie as a Master Gunnery Sargent in the Marine Corp. But he knew the truth before he died, thank God.
